I'm still amazed I don't know what is this black magic because I came to watch this movie by chance and the plot wasn't something amazing to catch my attention but here it goes my review:
STORY
Like I said before the plot is very typical for japanese dramas and the yankee or problematic kids it's a theme that's very present in japanese dramas or movies but this movie wasn't about a problematic child it was something more.
ACTING/CAST
Seriously the main actress Arimura Kasumi really impressed me because I watched strobe edege (movie that I hated...yeah I'm weird and don't kill me thanks) but this movie really proved me wrong and showed me that she's a great actress and that I should be checking more of her works.
Yoshida You was incredible as Sayaka's mom she made me cry at least 2 times, well actually I was a sea of tears maybe because I'm very sensitive lol she really stood out for me in this movie and I'll make sure to check out more of her movies or dramas.
Of course we can't forget Ito Atsushi as that positive teacher that more of one we would have liked to have when we were in high school, he did a great job being this optimistic, kind and inspirational teacher, great job.
MUSIC
Actually I like some of the music here and there was a song by Masquerade that I really liked (and I know that because I searched it with shazam lol) the music fits pretty well with the movie and you may discover some good music
REWATCH VALUE
10/10 nothing more to say about it for me at least.
OVERALL
A great movie that you need to watch, it was a story that can happen in real life and shows you the importance of a good role model or you don't even need that just with someone that believes in you like Sayaka's mom, it really touched me. If you're sensitive like me maybe you'll cry but I cried and laughed with this amazing movie so after this long review YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS!

Story: the story seems simple at first sight, a young girl dies but why? Is there a reason? This movies is more deep than I thought I can't say nothing without spoiling the movie, this movies is completely underrated. The red thread is very important, this movie is very detailed.
Acting: Everybody was important, the casting was amazing, I loved the good acting and the emotions, it can be heartbreaking and funny, with a lot of meaningful moments, and we see Hee Ae and Ah In before "secret love affair". Kim Hyang Gi was amazing, I can't imagine anyboydy that can portrait it like her
Music: it was fine I guess, don't expect a song, only instrumentals
Rewatch Value: It can be kind of heavy for some people but for me is perfect the way it is, it leaves you with a lot of questions about life in general, interesting
Overall: it was almost a perfect movie, perfect for a weekend

Okay, i don't know how to begin, I was one day bored without dramas or something to see and i saw someone that said that this movie was amazing, so i began and the story it's about an earthquake and the lifes of the people after that and it seems normal but OMG it's so amazing, then we see Yuichi (Shota Sometani) a simple guy but he has really bad "parents", well, they don't deserve to be called parents, and our lead girl that she's in love with him, well...you can say it in that way LOL
The acting: It's beyond the perfection, i was so inmersed in the movie, they were perfect in their roles, all the cast was amazing, I hated the parents and it was a movie that I'll never forget (because it was perfect)
The music was fine, nothing that I'll remember forever
Rewatch value: I have seen this movie 3 times and I'm not a person who likes to rewatch dramas or movies.
Overall: if you have a good cast, little bizarre things that are typical in japanese movies, two leads with a dysfunctional family then JACKPOT! If you're looking for a good movie you must see it, you're not to wast your time

Although this movie reminds me of "The exorcist" in some aspects this isn't a horror film. It seems kind of cliché but it really isn't. There are important twists, it's full of tension moments well d'uh it's a thriller but it's a complex puzzle that it's hard to understand until the ending and still I see lot of people who did't get that ending. At the same time this great story is a mix of genres like comedy, horror, exorcism, gore, etc.
STORY
When a mysterious stranger moves to a small village in South Korea, the village becomes plagued by sickness. The police think a wild mushroom is to blame, but police officer Jong-goo thinks it may have something to do with the stranger. He meets a woman who gives him some information about this mysterious man, and slowly begins to fall down a rabbit hole that consumes his life. When his daughter starts to show signs of the sickness, it gets personal and he must figure out who to trust and who to avoid.
ACTING
the performers have a lot of range, from facial expressions to downright melodramatic wailing. Child actor Kim Hwan-hee stands out even among a veteran ensemble cast that includes Hwang Jung-min and Jun Kunimura.These characters are dynamic; the protagonists increasingly vulnerable, and the antagonists all the more menacing. I hope that after this movie Kwak Do Won gets more main roles.
REWATCH VALUE
I need to watch this movie again because I need to find more clues and I have too many questions. I'm gonna recommend this movie to all my friends because it's that good but don't let those 2,5 hours fool you because it isn't boring at all.
OVERALL
It runs over 2.5 hours and one leaves the theater wishing there was more to explain. This would devaluate from the experience because one of the film objectives is to make think the audience go back and look at the clues and turning points, to look into one's own sense of values and want to go back to look at some references upon which the script builds. For me it's another masterpiece of Na (the movie director)

An outstanding movie which follows a son-father relationship which is a very infamous story in Korean's history.
The ending isn't a surprise because it's a movie where you go knowing the heartbreaking truth, which is explained by a serie of flashbacks where we see Sado prince since he was little and how the relationship with his father keeps deteriorating with time. We have a proud father and a son who isn't "mad".
The main question who as a viewer you're going to wonder is how can be a son that horrible to try to kill his father or how can be a dad that cruel to kill his son but when you finish the movie you'll realise that there isn't bad guys or good guys.

Last year was Yoo Ah In's year with two great movies which are veteran and the throne, I can't even rate the acting for this movie he did a great job not portraying a simple character instead showing us a complex human which isn't one dimensional. Of course we can't forget Song Kang Ho who is spectacular as always and let us see more than a simple king, it's a great portrayal of a person who is king and dad at the same time. I don't forget the supporting cast and special mention to Moon Geun Young who returns after 9 years to the big screen.

Music it's a haunting song who I keep hearing after watching this workf of art (actually it isn't a song but you'll understand it after watching the movie).

This isn't a movie that I would rewatch once in a while because it really punchs you in the face.

If you like Yoo Ah In or you're interested in korean history and you want a masterpiece this movie is a MUST WATCH.

This movie for me is almost flawless, the story is showing us how's the life of a girl when everything goes wrong.
With this movie you won't waste your time it lets you with a weird mood, maybe you're confused, sad and overall a bittersweet ending, nothing is perfect just life as life it is.
If you're expecting romance or a comedy you're in the wrong place so go and search other, this isn't a light movie it's kind of heavy in some aspects but I don't regret watching it, very good movie.

The acting of the movie is perfect I mean everyone was so good and I wanted to watch this for Park Bo Gum but when I saw Kim Hye Soo I was blown away she has been always one of the best korean actress in her range but wow just wow for me this was almost her best role, Kim Go Eun keeps being the actress which I keep looking for. The rest was great as usual but the funny part is that I think someone watched Park Bo Gum and Go Gyeon Pyo and thought, omg let's put them in reply 1988.

The music well it fits the movie nothing outstanding.

Rewatch value it's a movie you can rewatch and I will with my dad when someone subs this to spanish or I'll do it myself, well this isn't the kind of movie to watch if you're bored.

If you liked Hwayi you will love this movie, kind of similar just that this movie is with female leads and hwayi is more about a boy.

It was really worth it waiting almost a year for this movie what it seemed as another typical bullying movie ended up making me anxious because I can't wait to know who really killed the boy.
If you like school genre movies mixed with mistery and bullying this movie is totally worth your time,
Let's begin with the story, we just know that a 14 year old boy has died but we don't really know if it was suicide or a murder. Simple but it ends up being something more than that, like it was expected japanese cinema keeps being good turning a simple plot into a mistery movie but with teenagers. Apparently there aren't bad or good ones in this movie, we don't know if someone is really evil or what circumstances lead to that.
The acting is pretty good actually, the teenagers cast is PERFECT. The teachers are good like some awful teachers like at least you had one in your school. Mainly you'll focus on the teenagers cast obviously and I dare to say that in few years some of these kids will be big in Japan.
The music is mainly for the ending credits but it's a haunting song that fits the mood of the movie.

Would I rewatch this movie? Totally although it puts you in a rollercoaster but totally worth it.
Should you watch this movie? First you need 2 hours of your life well 4 if you want to see the second part haha but I recommend you this japanese gem.

First, if you liked white night (?) you have to watch this drama, i don't know how to say it but is beautiful and painful at the same time.
The story, well i thought that it was about a first love but not at all, it's cute and sad *remembering* and it begins with a guy that is dying in the street and we back again how they met until nowadays.
The acting, well if you put Yamada Takayuki with Hayase Haruka is like JACKPOT! The acting it was great by the two leads and the rest was okay...
The music, well only the song at the end of the drama is pretty sad and i love it so it went to my ipad.
Rewatch value, i gave it 6 because i liked a lot but it's hard to me to watch it again and because Yamada Takayuki cries very good and i'll die because i cried only with him lol
Overall, if you're in the mood to watch some drama, you have to wath this, you're going to enjoy it and i'm angry that most of people don't know this drama LOL

Bong Joon Ho is without a doubt one of the top five or ten working directors today. When it comes to juggling genre and tone almost no one is his equal. With an all-star international cast and its production by Netflix, this may be his most accessible movie yet; however, it may also be his most bizarre. It's the kind of movie that will leave you laughing one minute, crying the next, and then raising your eyebrows the next. It's so refreshing to see a film not conform to easy plot points and pandering like this film could have done so many times. Rather it takes tonal and story risks that consistently pay off. It helps that it maintains a solid satirical tone throughout allowing even the dysfunctional and reprehensible characters to remain interesting and some even likable.
Acting: The actors are all terrific, particularly Ahn Seo Hung in her film debut. She keeps the emotional component grounded throughout the film and provides the most resonating moments. The only performer who may not resonate with everyone is Jake Gyllenhaal. Gyllenhaal goes all out insane for his role and while I enjoyed the lunacy, many will not be fans. It was nice to see Choi Woo Shik though.
If you want to see an interesting movie with a kind of strange plot that will make you feel many emotions then this film is for you.

Well, I love Park Shin Hye and when i knew that Yonghwa was going to be in the drama i was like a crazy person but the argument is okay, i was very excited but i was REALLY DISAPPOINTED because lead actors had such a good chemistry.
The story was okay, but it was very predictable so...
I loved the cast, well ShinHye and Yonghwa were very good, sometimes i found ShinHye very annoying but it was fine, Yonghwa have improved a lot since you're beautiful and his tearing scenes were very good!
Music, was the only reason that i liked this drama, the ost is fuck*** amazing, i loved it and it fitted the moments.
If you want to watch the drama, only for the chemistry and if you're bored okay. The drama it's fine since 7 chapter, before i hated with all my strength because Shin is a jerk!
Overall, only for music and chemistry i give this drama 5/10
