it started strong. I was really excited and at the edge of my seat waiting for the next episodes... and then I…
The issue w this drama is that it has ups and downs in terms of pace. I'd say keep going. There are many moments in the remaining episodes that makes it worth a try.
So many moments where there's this *bang* feeling :,(
There are so many points and opposite views presented each has its merits and sounding reason. What he tells his friends in ep 6 rings a lot of truth. It's direct and ruthless but true.
The only value in watching would be the comedy, other than that the plot is a bit weird and not in the most pleasant way. The editing and cut scenes were abrupt.
Another thing kept me watching was Chen Xue Dong, he's handsome carrying the baby XD
Quite an interesting story. It gave the vibe of a parody with over the top everything from reactions to costumes. I mean the person who thought of the costumes and decoure is a genius XD The modern references and language are just hilarious I lol'd so much!
My main complaint is the drastic change in tone at the very end. The series maintained it's humor throughout till the last scene. I felt cheated for I was expecting something that maintained the humor. It doesn't mean i hate the endings.
I can say that the 2nd ending was easier to understand. Like @destiny909 said in an earlier comment, it gives you the possibility of continuing their story albeit being in a different settings and gender but w a similar principle. The 1st ending took me several rewatches to kinda get it. It's sad not just 'coz they're gone but sad for Peng (man) who only have the memories w/ no way of being with the person he loves. Regardless of the gender his soul lost the person it loves and is no longer connected w/ Qi cheng. I felt like he was revisiting the memories w/out being able to live it as himself; more like watching a movie that you can't be in. You try to force yourself in but you just can't which was heart breaking. I read there will be a 3rd ending released in (February?).
The idea of the drama, the transition peng went through and the discussion the series can evoke when we think about gender, love, soul etc makes it worth the watch.
I just love the random Meows over the course of the ep XD
For a few minutes I thought the thief was Narimiya not Kame lol. Can he act or what. Awesome 1st ep.
Some of the stories presented are very interesting while other not so much.
I have to say this genre of Thai dramas that depicts slice of life/school/relationships are very well thought out and represent the new generation and this era of technology social media and social diversity. They don't shy away from taboos which makes them much better IMO to other Asian dramas of the same genre.
I watched this when it came out and I remember it being very passable and poorly written. The original story is much more interesting and they failed to deliver any of it well. It's a lazy watch on Saturday night.
An easy to watch movie. Very predictable but still keeps you interested. Man rooting for the bad guys not sure how to feel about that, but I guess after watching Don 1 & 2 this is walk in the park XD
Unrelated but Oh Leo such a transformation T.T hopefully you'll get the statue. Sabrina~
Funny I feel the same about Hong Jong Hyun. I see him everywhere but not in any drama I know
It's like going down the memory lane and finding oneself again. Good drama short and bittersweet.
