the director choose a wrong cast as sang sang. should be nana ou yang suits more. ????????
Sang Sang is perfectly casted. An actress in her 20’s that can play a ruddy faced 13 year old is rare. She will play an adult later, so she is doing great in her role.

NQ isn't of high status though he should be on the same level as sang sang. I doesn't make sense that he's treated…
NQ’s status became elite because of his accomplishments and his associations with people of high status including his masters Fu Zi and Yan Se, the Tang emperor and princess and his ability to beat Prince Long Qing and become the 13th disciple in the “2nd floor” of the academy add in his calligraphy abilities and he’s one of the top characters in the Tang kingdom.

Watched the first 4 episodes. I'm in! Pacing is different. But I sense an old school makjang in the making.
Old school makjangs are the best!

Title Girl from Nowhere Spoiler
Just finished on Netflix. I liked it. And I always thought: WHO is she really? I got it for myself, but .........…
She’s a self replicating alien robot that feels no pain and can never age or die! I’m guessing! She scares me. I’m glad I watched in broad daylight! Lol

I initially avoided this because the description and trailer felt like clichés. This is a drama you either love or hate after the first episode. I loved it and fast forwarded through some of the cringey parts and subpar, mostly comical, homemade blood effects. The actress playing Nanno is superb and a bit maniacal. She nailed the character with a maturity not typical for her age. It’s worth watching just for her parts. 8.5/10

They were separated about 6 months in the novel, if I recall correctly. That’s about 2 to 3 weeks in dramaland,…
Mo Shan Shan in the novel has a stronger personality especially when she confronted the old woman. She has more major events coming with NQ that brings them closer together, unfortunately. This is NQ first adult relationship because he doesn’t see Sang Sang as a woman as yet.

A really cute drama. The lead female character is refreshing, naive and slightly neurotic. This is all about family relationships. Worth watching. 8.5/10

This drama is what happens when you combine every genre ever made. Romance, rags to riches, revenge, fat to skinny…
You are so right! They are only missing the School, War, Time Travel and Identity Swap genres. It can still happen! I’m amazed that the drama is still watchable, even enjoyable.

I'm on ep. 33 and I am wondering how long NQ and Sang Sang are going to be apart since NQ went to the bad lands.
They were separated about 6 months in the novel, if I recall correctly. That’s about 2 to 3 weeks in dramaland, maybe! Lol

how is the acting on this? i don't recognize any of the cast
I would almost kill to be at a casting party with the award winning professionals that make up the supporting cast! It’s rare to see so many in one project. The young leads are blessed, but, they hold their own. It’s a good balance and definitely worth watching a few times!

I thought the same. He is not a standard spoiled rich son. He seems to have feelings for her. So, the marriage was probably more than a business relationship for him. That’s sad for both of them.

Post scandal comeback actors like YEH rarely get top dramas to make a comeback. But, this one is ridiculous! It’s lost in a cliche and flashback maze with very little progress and more tear jerker events than the law allows! I doubt if this can be fixed. Sad because the actors deserve better.

I love Park Bo Gum, but after seeing the interactions she had with the ex husband, it was like, oh oh, this is…
The relationship between the lead characters work because they feel free to be themselves, especially the CEO, without being judged. The CEO has not smiled or shown any real emotions since her father became a politician. She has had no real friends since middle school when her mother got rid of them for being unfit. So, Bo Gum’s character who is free spirited, bold and always smiling is like heaven to her. It’s what she needs regardless of him being younger. He makes her relaxed, adventurous and happy. Everyone needs a little of that in their lives.

The sci-fi parts were the best of the drama. Lee Je Hoon’s acting is always great. Plot was a sleeper and the ending was too underwhelming. 7.5/10
