The first review (up above in the reviews section) had me rolling on my bed with laughter the person legit said "I just could not believe that the writer would, with their hand over their heart, believe this steaming pile of dog shit masquerading as a script could actually be halfway-decent enough to be shown to the world".
The comments and reviews are hilarious because of how bad everyone is saying the drama is that they had to watch it out...Now I feel like I have to watch it to leave my funny comment about how bad it is.
The only way thing I felt after finishing this drama was relief.
I was fed up after episode 9 Ioved the initial concept and was excited about this drama but it seems like every episode was a variation of the last, UNTIL episode 10. Two specific things happened in everyyy episode (I'm not gonna say what is was cause...spoilers).
After episode 9 it did get better but I felt like it was too late cause the drama only has 13 episodes. But if you're interested in watching it I say go for it cause all the leads are hot and it has some pretty good moments (the seconds leads were so adorable in this).
The drama doesn't really focus on the romance between the king and Mengfei instead it focuses on the lives of everyone in the palace (from the chef to the physician to the palace guard and many more) and especially the lives of the women in glory & splendor palace.
I enjoyed it because it was hilarious some of the modern-day references had me dying. The only thing I would have liked to see more of was the romance between Mengfei and the king cause when they did have romantic moments it was honestly the cutest thing.
I have no intentions of watching this drama but I'd still like to have some answers so please humor me and answer…
Thank you it does.
To answer your question, I saw a clip on viki (the elevator scene where he and two other guys greeted the boss while he got onto the elevator) and I was like what's up with the weird vibe if they went to school together and then I read the synopsis and I became curious about the ending. I'm not really into melodrama especially these realistic ones but the way my curiosity is set up. I just wanted to know how it ends...If that makes sense. Anyways. Thanks a lot for replying.
Started off really light, loads of funny moments but then the ending sort of dipped. I'd still recommend it though. Its one of those pass the time dramas.
I always hate dramas where the evil leads find redemption in the end and luckily this wasn't one of those. Still would have preferred a different ending for all the main characters (the good ones). Lastly, I hateee how much screentime her "friend" and ex-boyfriend got. I felt like half the scenes with them were not necessary at all.
Personally, I would rather look at the ratings than reviews sometimes especially if there are a lot more people…
Previously I genuinely would rely on the ratings rather than the reviews but after countless times of actually watching the dramas and disliking it and then coming here and finding that a lot of people who reviewed or commented also disliked it. I started relying more on the reviews. I mean so many people can't all dislike the exact same things for no reason. Occasionally I'd still watch a drama with bad reviews and high ratings and more often than not I regret it. So now I take in both the ratings and reviews into account. I would have genuinely given the drama a chance when I first came here if the good reviews and bad reviews were balanced but so so many bad reviews. I also find that if a drama is good enough people would review or comment because they want others to watch the drama and enjoy it as well..not the case here at all. I'll reconsider watching it though...Thanks for the advice.
This drama is one of the first Kdramas I watched and years later I still feel the same. It is truly an amazing drama. I happen to love the 2 main leads and them acting together the chemistry is always amazing. But definitely be prepared to cry ALOT cause Jung Eum is such a good actress that when she starts to cry...
Anyways I would definitely recommend for anyone considering watching this drama and are unsure.
So I dropped this series after finishing the 3rd episode due to FL. Where most people find her personality to…
Tbh she was the reason i dropped AOL...i hatedd her character and same again with go go squid.
I'd like to believe it's the script and characters she plays and not necessarily the actress but damn if i watch one more drama where she plays the annoying clueless and sometimes selfish character...it might be a hard sell to get me to not blame the actress.
I'm 2 & 1/2 episodes in and I need to ask......does it get any better?Much, much, MUCH better?Because so far I…
Lol i gave it longer than the previous commenters...no it does not get better...i really tried to like her but damnn...she was annoying and like the other persons stated i did not find it cute at all...it was just frustrating trying to force myself to like her
Really loved this drama. It was so light on the scheming and backstabbing and the brotherhood was really good (especially when compared to other historical dramas and the fight for the throne). The male lead genuinely loved the female lead and his actions supported that until the end...Its not one of those harem dramas where the ML claims to love the FL but sleeps with every 3rd woman he meets..oh and lots of kisses!...Good Watch. Definitely recommend.
Your typical obsessive female stalker romance where the main lead eventually falls for the female lead. Oh and the same flashbacks are shown 20 times throughout the entire drama.
I came here to watch something like Love O2O where the ML is doting and adoring on the FL and supports her through…
Put your head on my shoulder, somewhere only we know, I hear you, the best of you in mind, skate into love, Romance of tiger & Rose (historical rom com but so sweet and light) oh and My ID is gangnam beauty (this one is korean)
you come to the comments to get that final push to watch the drama and instead end up with a bunch virtual "its a no from me"...lol alright thanks guys...imma dip
Also the trauma that poor child went through in a couple of days wow lol

1. Does he divorce his wife
2. Does she end up with the CE0
3. Does the CEO succeed in getting rid of him?
4. Does he have a happy ending?
Thank youuu
