Both dramas are written by the same screenwriter, both involve a male lead being entangled into supernatural events in which he needs to unravel mysteries to get him and/or his loved ones out of trouble. Both are about escaping from fate in an attempt to manipulate certain rules or principles that bind the supernatural events.

If you are looking for a drama with more mature characters, where no one is 100% good or 100% evil, both dramas share that.

You'll find very appealing characters and a storyline that has romance, drama, revenge, politics and strong female characters (Go Hye Ran in Misty and Choi Yoo Jin in K2).

In both dramas you have a mysterious murder that impacts all the story.

Miss Baek is pretty much a shorter version of Mother. If you liked Mother, you'll probably like this. If you like Miss Baek, you should definitely check out Mother because it goes more in-depth on this type of subject, and its a TV series instead of a movie.

Both involve one of the leads leading a double life, in this case its the heroine.

The Girl From Nowhere series contains a certain feel and vibe that is present within some of the episodes of On Children. This vibe being a more dark and psychological look on society, using different elements to metaphorically display a person's hidden evil self. It is also similar as in both shows, each episode is set in a different setting.

Both have less is more approach with the horror but I must say that I found Dead Stock to much more enjoyable. Some of the acting in Akuryo was funny and I assume that's not what they were going for, while Dead Stock seemed more natural and creepy.

But Battle of Changsha is a lot better and All Quiet in Beijing needs patience and a little boring.If u like politics or historcial drama, this is one of a kind

Both series have a main male lead who is morally upstanding in an increasingly corrupted work environment. Both of their bosses also dislike them and would like to see them fired.

both are a supernatural/fantasy office romance drama, they are both super cute, light and refreshing

Females leads have trouble studying but tries their best to rank well. They're both very energetic, doesn't care what others think of them.

Males leads are very smart and tutors the female lead. They are popular among the peers and teachers because of how intelligent they are.

So similar. only difference is that the guys don't immediately fall for the main girl in Asuko March.

If you enjoy dark twisted romance dramas then this is the drama for you, both have antiheroes as leads, lots of twists and turns, BUT Byakuyako is definitely darker since the female lead is the real villain, in the smile has left your eyes the male lead is the twisted one, both are worth watching with good acting.
