Both drama:
The acting is top-notch and not just pretty faces.

In "The Story of Ming Lan", female lead suffers from neglect from her family especially her father, fortunately she receives love from her grandmother. The female lead is intelligent and witty.

In "Jun Jiu Ling", female lead is a princess but live as other identity to revenge.

Although both drama is not the same situation, I think both just have a great plot and extremely well written.

If you like Ming Lan, you will like Jiu Ling too.

Both drama :
The main characters are generally adequately written.
The females leads are strong characters.
The male leads are both also smart.
Awesome chemistry between the two leads.
Both beautifully-crafted drama.

The Rebel Princess - Female lead's mother is the sister of the emperor.
Jun Jiu Ling - Female lead's father is the brother of the emperor (The current emperor killed her father so she wanted revenge.)

The similarities :

- cross-dressing crown princes (FLs) that actually a women.
-the MLs is also a high ranking person

Both are SP's following a romance jdrama. Childbirth and finding your way in marriage are key elements in both. Also, let's admit in both specials the main characters are quite weird and so a nice breath of fresh air.

Both these dramas tell the story of the relationship between the ML and the FL in online and real life. It is the ML who discovers their online friendships first after making issues for the FL offline and then try to make up for it.

Both movies involve starting to play guitar. Beautiful voice. Bromance. Talented. Humble. Heartwarming.

Both movies has young high schoolers that are actually talented in the music. They just need older musician guidance, support and believe in them.

Both movies are team Swindler. One is Japanese, the other one is Korean movie. Not all swindlers are bad. They each has their reason to be swindlers.

Both movies are about Psychiatry ward. Young couple. There are sadness and funny moment. Human passion, live life, connection, how they were treated inhuman and lost dignity

Both movie involve clean after death. Just different approach. Both involve young cleaners. Kind hearted cleaners.

-both have the plot line where should be "enemies" fall in love

-both have the main couples separated for a period of time
-both have dead ends for any second lead storylines

-both have an arranged/forced marriage
-extra- both have a celebrity singer acting the lead male role lol
-the "happy ending" focuses on the main couple

both are cute and heartwarming
both have amazing chemistry between the leads
the side character's story in both are well written

The characters are really different and the story is significantly different. BUT, the type of emotional feelings you get from watching are very similar. The drama between family members are very similar.

Both the dramas have good person killing bad people.
Both in vincenzo and kill it, the male lead was adopted by a foreigner and grew in foreign country.
Both of them grew up learning how to kill people.

If u liked the female lead's occupation, then you might like vincenzo. Please do give it a go cause you will not regret watching this badass and savage pair eradicating the corrupt corporate system.
