Firstly, both dramas share the same female lead. They are also based on Historical Era. Just like Princess Agents, The Journey Of Flower also has the occasionally plot to frame the main lead. Although the plots are completely different in a sense that it isn't about slavery or time travel, they are still excellent Chinese dramas. Ps. I wrote this because I'm reminded of how playful Zhao Zanilia is in The Journey Of Flower, she is a great actor. Also I may sound weird but,.... I hope she finds a partner soon. Ps,s I'm saying this because it doesn't say she has a spouse on Google if you search up her name. Don't quote me!!!, Ps.S.S, I'm loving this drama despite the fact that it's such a distraction while I'm doing homework.

Reply 1988 is one of my favorite dramas and when I started watching Sunny, I started getting the same vibes and feels I did while watching that drama.

Reply 1988 is a drama while Sunny is a movie, but both occur in a similar time period in the past and evoke nostalgic feelings even if you didn't live through that time period yourself.

The friendship theme is strong and both the drama and movie are slow paced, yet interesting, funny, and realistic.

You'll find yourself laughing, crying, feeling sentimental while connecting to all of the characters!!! :")

Both show the gritty side of The Republic of South Korea as it developed. Though, The King takes place 20 years later when transitioning from a dictatorship to a democracy took place. Corruption plagued both eras.

These two dramas have completely different plot. One talks about a man who can see the future and two girls have the same name while the other about low and solving some mysteries. On the other hand, the romance, the ost and the comedy parts of these two have the same vibs. The main leads have so much chemistry even in the bts. There's some similarities too, like the man lead didn't have so great past , then the female lead came and turned his life upside down. I think if you love one of them you will enjoy the other .

Both stories are based in Qing dynasty and under Kang Xi's rule. Both mc form an unlikely friendship with the young emperor. Both mc try to over throw Qing dynasty. Dragon Pearl is very similar to a remake of the Deer and the Cauldron with a female lead.

These movies are similar because in both a family moves to a rural town. The teenage boy becomes close with the outcast girl at his new school. There are rumors around the town about the girl and her father that leads people to mistreat them.

both stories contain long time friends almost lovers kind of plot. The leads know each other more than anyone, and treat themselves as even more than family, however there are several reasons as to why they still hesitate on being together. both also tackle adult life and personal career issues.
