The Beautiful Absurdity of Being a Teenager

Absolute Value of Romance is the kind of drama that quietly sneaks up on you and suddenly has you reminiscing about all the silly, embarrassing, and questionable things you did back in high school. It captures that awkward stage of life where every emotion feels bigger than it actually is, every secret feels life altering, and every crush feels like destiny. Watching it often felt like opening an old yearbook and cringing at your younger self, but with a smile on your face.

The story follows Yeo Eui Ju, a high school student by day and a BL web novel writer by night. Despite writing numerous novels, none of them have managed to gain much attention. Everything changes when a group of four handsome men moves into a house on her street. Eui Ju watches them on their balcony and, as any highly imaginative teenager might, immediately starts pairing them up in her head. The twist is that these men turn out to be the new teachers at her school: the aloof math prodigy Ga Woo Su, the gentle Korean literature teacher Yun Dong Ju, the warm but clumsy former athlete Jung Gi Jeon, and the mischievous Japanese teacher No Da Ju. At that point, Eui Ju's imagination practically enters overdrive.

Although she initially feels awkward about using her teachers as inspiration, the temptation proves too strong. Soon, she begins writing again, basing her characters directly on the teachers and even lifting some of their dialogue verbatim. It is honestly impressive how far a teenager's imagination can travel with the smallest amount of material. What makes Eui Ju so endearing is how human she feels. Anyone who has spent too much time daydreaming will probably recognize a bit of themselves in her. I certainly did. The only difference is that I was unfortunately not blessed with my own personal F4 of attractive teachers to inspire my fantasies.

To Eui Ju's surprise, her new novel becomes a huge success. Readers flock to it, downloads increase, and comments pour in. Naturally, she keeps writing. Things become even more complicated when Woo Su discovers what she has been doing. Initially confused and slightly weirded out by a genre that is completely foreign to him, he eventually decides to let her continue. As the story progresses, Eui Ju develops feelings for him after several moments where he ends up looking after her.

What I appreciate most is how carefully the drama handles this dynamic. Despite the premise, the relationship never feels like the type that would have people calling the popo. Instead, it is framed as what it really is: a student's innocent first crush on a teacher. From Woo Su's side, the narrative remains remarkably clear. He treats Eui Ju as a student and nothing more. He never encourages her feelings, never reciprocates, and never crosses any boundaries. There were moments when I found myself wondering whether he genuinely had no clue about her crush or whether he simply chose to redirect everything back into a teacher-student relationship. Either way, the drama never loses sight of where the line should be.

Beyond the romance, the drama shines in how accurately it captures the anxieties of adolescence. There are countless moments of secondhand embarrassment, both from Eui Ju's actions and from how much they reminded me of my own school days. The fear of having a secret exposed, the panic that follows every small mistake, the tendency to overthink every interaction, all of it feels surprisingly authentic. While the story never digs especially deep into its emotional arcs, it gives its characters enough depth to feel relatable. The conflicts remain relatively light, but they still resonate because they stem from experiences many people have lived through themselves.

One of the biggest questions I had while watching was how the drama would handle its ending. Teacher-student romance stories often walk a very delicate line, and I genuinely could not imagine an ending that would feel satisfying. Would they force a romance through with a time skip? Would they leave everything unresolved? Would they take the little sister route? Surprisingly, the ending ended up becoming one of the drama's greatest strengths.

Rather than turning Eui Ju's feelings into some grand, life defining romance, the story treats them as what they are: first love, puppy love, a fleeting crush that eventually becomes a cherished memory. It acknowledges the sincerity of her feelings without pretending they are meant to last forever. Most importantly, the teachers never play into those feelings. They continue treating their students as students, allowing Eui Ju to grow naturally and move forward. The resolution feels realistic, mature, and surprisingly touching. The snow symbolism in the final stretch adds just enough emotional weight to make the ending land beautifully.

In the end, Absolute Value of Romance is a cute, lighthearted coming of age drama filled with high school silliness, wild imaginations, and awkward memories. It delivers plenty of secondhand embarrassment, but it is the affectionate kind that makes you laugh while shaking your head at your younger self. More than anything, it reminds you of those fleeting moments from adolescence that seemed so important at the time. Looking back, they may have been ridiculous, but they were also undeniably precious.

To put it straight, Fox in the Screen was not very good. The story started out pretty interesting and I thought it could actually go somewhere with the unique plot but unfortunately, that didn't happen. Very soon, the typical historical drama cliches occurred, and it all happened really fast so sometimes the plot didn't make sense and there wasn't much development. The plot really went everywhere, especially since they included the royal family and political affairs, which I think was unnecessary. But on the other hand, the plot didn't drag since everything happened really fast, which could be a good or bad thing depending on how you view it. Not to mention the ending was very disappointing and inconclusive.

And the actors....to put it straight, they were not good at acting. Now I'm not talking about the main fox guy (he was very good), I'm talking about everyone else, and literally everyone else, except for the evil characters (crown prince was awesome!). It was so cringe-worthy watching everyone else act that I really couldn't get myself into the drama, especially with the dubbed voices on top of that.

The only reason I ended up completing this drama was that it was so short at 22 episodes and 20min long each and because historical dramas are my favorite dramas. However, I loved the production of this drama; the scenery and cinematography was exceptional, and watching this drama was very pleasing to the eye because of the excellent HD quality! The music wasn't that bad either; I liked the intro and ending songs that played at every episode and occasionally other songs would come out throughout the drama.

Overall, watch this drama because it's so short if you have a lot of free time on your hands, just want to see what it's about, or just don't have anything else to watch since this drama isn't really worth it so don't go into it with expectations like I did!

First, I have to admit that any review I write about a drama when it stars So Ji Sub is probably going to be biased. Just putting that out there. Second, I loved this show. The journey Cho In is 'subjected to' is a fun, intense ride. There are very specific moments in this drama that make it so fun and watchable but I don't/can't spoil them. From episodes 2 all the way to the end it just kind of steam rolls through the story and it took me along with it. There are moments where I was frustrated with some story points but I forgive those for the amazing moments where I sat forward in my seat and went "Ah!". That's why it gets a nine instead of a 10. It has a very sweet romance as well. Plus..So Ji Sub...Pretty!

First off, I'd like to mention: No, this isn't an action movie. The real title of the movie is "Wan Deuk Yi"--the main character of the book and film. Not really sure why it's called Punch. -___-;

For those that think that this is a movie about a kind teacher who shows compassion and does everything he can to help his troubled student--that's not completely correct. I recommend you watch the trailer. But if you can't, just know that all that nice stuff is on the inside--something you can't see right away.

This movie isn't a tear-jerker (at least IMO). BUT it is a feel-good movie and will give you a couple of laughs here and there. There are some painful-to-watch fighting scenes (kickboxing or not) for those of you who like a little action sprinkled here and there. They did an amazing job with setting the mood of the movie. It was never meant to be a gloomy-look-at-this-pitiful-child movie. They wanted it to have a certain brightness to the dark characters/setting. And I'd say they succeeded.

The cast is absolutely fantastic. Kim Yun Seok had perfect comedic timing with his joyously foul-mouth. The comedic bickering was between teacher and student was so much fun. Yoo In Ah did an awesome job preping for his kickboxing scenes; although the film was trying to not be so gloomy, Yoo In Ah did a great job bringing the heaviness of certain issues to the scenes.

All in all, if you enjoy feel-good moments, mama drama, a bit of fighting, love-lines, and cursing--and all without breaking out the tissue box--this is the movie for you.

A plot written by real life.

Brilliant. I can go into rhapsodies about “Citizen of a Kind.” About the well made KMovie. About the authentic and stirringly positive energy that the film conveys. (And this despite the fact that the issue dealt with is shocking, cruel and profoundly mean right up to the end.) About the wonderful heroine, who is convincingly portrayed by Ra Mi-ran. About the true heroine in real life, who actually made this story come to life. About the haunting production, which, despite the captivating story and many touching, even quite brutal scenes, still has the touch of a lively road movie.

A plot written by real life.
Womanpower and sisterhood included.
Awesome.

There might be a growing amount among the audience who probably by now has someone in their wider circle of acquaintances who has become - or almost became - a victim of a voice phishing fraud ring. The personal material damage is only one (very painful) side of the ugly coin. Almost worse is the side with psychological injuries, all centered about shame and guilt, which run deep.

In the case of "Citizen of a Kind", the victim out of sheer desperation chooses a rather extreme offensive path of coming to terms with it. However, most victims remain stuck in their trauma. On the one hand, they remain emotionally exposed to the tormenting feeling of the helpless loss of control they have suffered. On the other hand, they torment themselves with persistent feelings of guilt because (in the eyes of themselves and of others, too) they “fell for it themselves” and therefore “made themselves responsible” for their loss. The emotional dilemma is fatal. What makes things even more difficult is that the real perpetrators usually remain in the dark, are difficult to pin down and therefore rarely can be actually dealt with as a real counterpart.

In "Citizen of a Kind" the victim searches for the perpetrator on her own, finds him, and at the same time becomes the savior of potential further victims (of this perpetrator). That feels so good.

Not Me, Not You, But Everyone... Should Watch This Show

It's finally the ending guys and I'm super sad about it! "Not Me" definitely met my expectations and even surpassed them in so many ways. Let's get into this show in detail because that's what it deserves, a thorough look at it as a whole.

First of all, the story was solid. I think it could've done with a few more rewrites but I appreciate all the messages it had to give. As well as showcasing how intense and important standing up for what you believe in is. What's right isn't always rewarded, so that's where protesting comes in. A protest is grounded in just wanting to be heard and I think the series did this aspect justice. Even in the classroom scenes, they felt real when talking about law and order. I have zero experience in this, so I'm not sure how accurate all of what they were discussing was. Especially because I am also not from Thailand. However, from the comments on the video its very real so I will trust that! Though I might've been a little lost at parts, mostly it was satisfying to watch.

Let's move on to Sean and White, because that's why most of us are here lol. Obviously, they are too adorable and of course chemistry but what else is new? Their relationship development was pretty good. I liked seeing the subtle nuances of them getting closer and eventually leading to the confession/hook up in the tent. All of which had me shrieking XD. I'm also glad the White reveal stuff wasn't super drawn out. It was rough seeing Sean confused because Black is kinda a dick, but he figured it out on his own. So though obviously it's reasonable that Sean was upset with White for lying to him, it wasn't episodes of trying to rekindle the relationship. Overall, their scenes together are pretty emotional/passionate so it's nice to see Off and Gun push their on screen romances further, though it's not a surprise knowing how close those two really are ;P

Next the twist. Since the show is based around White taking of Black's life due to him being in a coma we had to wonder who put him in that coma in the first place? Well it wasn't too surprising to me that it was Tod, seeing as he kinda recruits White in the first place. I kinda wanted it to be Gumpa because that would've been more of a shock. But that's just me! Speaking of Black and White The scenes with them together were actually really well done! Twin stuff isn't easy to pull off and certain scenes I was like damn that looks really clean and I could believe there's actually twins there. Some scenes like in the last episode I could tell when it was someone else lol but for the most part very solid, I just have a good eye for these things.

To get some of the random side stuff out of the way. Gram getting with Black's ex I did not vibe with. Sure she deserves happiness and Black seemingly sucked as a partner. I also liked Gram, even though I'm still slightly confused if he liked Black or not? But yuck that's a bff no no to get with Black's ex like that. I don't know I just can't get past that, makes me think of "Euphoria" with Maddie and Cassie. You just don't do that!


Okay side couple time! Dan and Yok are cute but underdeveloped majorly as a side couple. I really like Yok's character though, he might be my favorite of this series tbh. His discussions of art and justice were really interesting and well written. While Fluke (Dan) is just....so gorgeous lol and did a great job at showing emotion in this series. I do gotta say though Dan and Yok's ending was really good. So even if they were rushed the end result was solid. Gotta see forgiveness in order to move on into a steady relationship, I would've liked to see where they go from there.


Finally, the last scene. Is of course with Sean and White and it did actually give me chills. The song played when these two are together is actually really beautiful and their lines of dialogue were well written. Plus the KISS, ugh. Why must it end now!? I want more! Overall really good job show, lets see more and more of this in BL continue and never stop the OffGun hype train!

i love this show. if you're interested in anti corruption stuff, found family, lots of humor, and amazing fun loving characters (especially female ones!) this is up your alley. i think people who watched angry mom will also like this (same writer) though this is more my speed but the points of her shows stand.

i really will cherish this show. it's a literal superhero story and satirical and it's so pure even if there are parts about everyone that aren't or are more morally grey. this show shows you that the good guys will always be ahead of you.

i can easily forgive so many strange plot devices or how absolutely ridiculous something can be if i just had the time of my life. there are flaws both creatively and technically, but the show is a beautiful breath of fresh air. and these are some of the best female characters i've seen in a show like this. i fell in love with everyone (even the evil ones or at least i knew their purpose...)

it's pretty progressive and has good social messages too and it's basically a 16 hour show about taking down baddies with your best friends and your cool teacher from HS that changed your life. the love and respect these characters share is incredible. i will have fond memories. if you like quirky stuff and love having fun with a fun interesting plot i RECOMMEND THIS!

After watching this version , I have to say it became my favorite out of other versions ~ other viewers may or may not feel the same ..

There were some changes in the drama's storyline which made it more interesting , I think they didn't want the viewers to feel they were watching the same drama as the other two but it has a combination of both the Taiwanese and Korean version while having its own unique storyline .

What I loved the most about the Thai version was the Male Lead Character they made him more likable and much nicer than other versions , not as mean as in the K-Drama and more admirable with him being in touch with his love for the Female Lead than in the T- Drama .

About the Female Lead Character I think she was more weaker than other version but I did not hate that & I liked how she turned out in the end , the girl finally got the guts xD

Unlike the other versions , I enjoyed this more even if there were some frustrating parts in the drama but still I have watched all the episodes without skipping any because it was less dramatic , much sweeter & more logical in comparison .

I did skip episodes form other versions cause in case of T-Drama was too draggy and the story was all over & K-Drama started well but at the end became boring to me , but as I said everyone will have his own opinion in which version they will like the best .

And the ending was great I liked that they made it intimate ...

I feel if I keep writing I'll spoil the drama there's a lot of things I want to write about the things that I liked , but it will consider a spoiler :s

Anyway ... It is very clear that I enjoyed this one & I think everyone will do too ~

When there is more representation I can be picky, but for now this'll have to do

In my humble opinion, this drama does not add up to the hype. I am thankful that South Korea has started making more LGBT dramas and movies, since it is a great step forward. However, I think we LGBT+ people have a tendency to go a bit crazy when there is any kind of representation, and we are so greatful for the scraps that we hype up stories that really aren't that good, and sometimes aren't even healthy relationships. I have seen a lot of student-teacher relationships, or age gaps that are not approperiate when it comes to gay stories. Where Your Eyes Linger is a portrayal of an unhealthy relationship between a "master and servant". Not only are they not equal, but Taejoo is actually mean towards Gook and uses his position and authority against him to deliberately make Gook uncomfortable. That is not the vibe for me.
Moreover, I think that the acting was... awkward at best. It is very clear to me that the actors are uncomfortable and they have no chemistry. The one kiss scene was not really a kiss, just a peck, which would be fine if it wasn't the case with so many gay dramas and series. I just felt really forced to me.

But, just because I did not like this drama does not mean that I won't gobble up any other representation, however awful. I am in a desert and representation is my water. So I know I'll still be watching these types of dramas that I don't like until there is more representation with variety so that I can afford to be picky. I cannot wait until that time comes.

Divirta-se, mas não aguarde o melhor da sua vida.

Visão geral: grande história, contexto histórico muito interessante, personagens impactantes e química boa do casal.

Enredo:
A história inicial e se desenrola de uma forma bem clara, deixando o espectador curioso em certa medida. Tenho que admitir que o fato de ter sido retirado de uma lenda/mito me deixou desanimada.
Ficou claro que com o último desejo, o Iblis passou a aguardar a punição e ela foi impossível de resistir. Mas isso só me mostrou duas coisas: Deus é cheio de reviravoltas e que o anjo é o ser mais egoista já criado.
Tudo poderia ir para um caminho, mas não era o romance que eu esperava. Não sei se o formato de 12/13 episódios me incomoda, mas algo ficou muito soltou. Vamos começar com o 1º desejo: ela queria provar algo e morrer nessa aposta, mas acabou que as coisas tomaram caminhos estranhos e ela usou do último desejo de um deles. Aposta inválida. O 2º desejo só existiu pra que a sr. Pan descobrisse que iria morrer, graças ao anjo. E por fim, ela fez o que todos imaginavam que era pedir para sentir e morrer por isso. Nada anormal, nem impressionante. Sinto que foi bom, cheio de referências magnificas, elenco gritando de bom. Mas só isso!

Personagens:
Os principais já eram conhecidos pelo mundo e isso só os deixou mais conhecidos pela nova bolha do Kdrama. Mas eu sentir falta do romance, eles foram enime to lovers até o último segundo.
Queria muito falar do anjo, juro. Ele e o personagem mais intrigante de todo drama. Um anjo que para cumprir ordens cegas do seu deus fez de tudo para que o seu irmão fosse morto por suas mãos.
Juro, ser o anjo da morte tornar ele o emissário da triste da humanidade. Mas a sua meta de vida era matar o Iblis é cumprir a missão. Mas no fim, ele só ficou sem uma parte de sua asa e uma vitória amarga na boca.
Ele foi o personagem que mais me cativou sabe porque? Por que ele era o verdadeiro vilão, o verdadeiro mal da história. Sua meta de vida era presenciar o Iblis se curvar perante a pior criação de Deus e com isso, ceifar a vida dele. Na sua cabeça limitada de soldado, ele estava na guerra até o líder oposto estivesse vivo.

Fotografia:
Geralmente inicio nesse ponto, mas nesse drama isso não me pegou. De fato, a cenas lindas como a caminhada na rua de cerejeiras, mas 80% das cenas bonitas foram feitas em CCGI. É isso não é fotografia real! Ouve a quebra da 4ª tela em algumas ocasiões, mas sem sentindo algum. Acho que só deixou mais claro o quanto é uma completa fantasia a história.

Considerações finais:
Queria ter algo mais a dizer, mas vou apenas elogiar os figurinos BELÍSSIMOS da Suzy durante todo o drama. Até de mecânica ficou lindíssima.
Para além disso, eu tenho algumas dúvidas: por que o colega de faculdade dela morreu daquele jeito se ele parecia ser um stalker dela? por que o imortal não usou a lâmpada antes do Iblis enlouquecer? por que a fúria do Iblis deixou uma espada igual Arthur? como ela pode pedir que 5 pessoas fizesses 3 desejos cada, sem que o desejo é só dela? (Falando disso porque qdo o imortal disse que podia usar o último desejo dela, ele disse que só ela poderia desejar) e como ela se tornou gênio se os gênios são criaturas criadas por Deus no quinto dia, ela sendo humana não poderia se tornar uma ou poderia? E por que ele voltou, sem explicação ou justificativa?

Tenho mais umas 15 perguntas, mas que nunca serão respondidas.
No fim, eu me divertir. Maratonei num domingo, então valeu pela distração.
8, pois poderia ser bem melhor se tivesse mais 3 episódios e respondessem as minhas perguntas claramente.

Wise advice

Just really really wished someone would have told me this beforehand. Warning ahead… Please please pwease do not start this drama at all, it will mess you up and piss you off like ONE HUNDRED AND ONE, like no joke! Biggest regret of all is that I actually started this drama. In all honesty I started the drama because of the two main actors, Song Weilong and Jelly Lin. Although really just that alone doesn’t make up to how awful this drama is, sadly enough. The beginning was bearable and it seems interesting, but just really only the first few episodes the rest is horrifying awful. Siigh…

To My Shore is not your typical "sweet" romance.

To My Shore is not your typical "sweet" romance. It is a heavy, psychological drama that explores how two very different men, broken by their pasts, collide in a way that is devastating yet deeply moving. It is a complex, emotionally draining journey that explores the thin line between love and obsession.

First, there is You Shu Lang, a character who truly defines "resilience." After a traumatic childhood, he carries a crushing weight of guilt. He becomes a provider (to his ungrateful adoptive) and he acts more as a caretaker than a partner to his younger boyfriend. In my opinion, Shu Lang is a man who is "good" in the purest sense, but his goodness leaves him profoundly lonely. He is looking for a "shore" to land on someone to finally share his burdens with. Hao Yi Ran’s acting perfectly captures his transition from a weary caretaker to a man pushed to the brink of a breakdown.

Then there is Fan Xiao. His backstory is equally tragic and his trauma twisted his worldview. Unlike Shu Lang, who chose kindness, Fan Xiao chose manipulation, believing that nothing is truly good. When he meets Shu Lang, he assumes these "good" qualities are fake. He sets out to prove that Shu Lang is just as selfish and greedy as everyone else. However, when he realizes he is wrong and that Shu Lang is a genuinely caring person who wants him to be happy, he falls deeply in love to the point of obsession.

The most controversial part of the story for me is the length Fan Xiao goes to "own" Shu Lang. His systematic isolation of Shu Lang is chilling: he removes everyone from Shu Lang’s life—his family, his boyfriend, and (controles) his career, so that Shu Lang has no choice but to depend on him.

When Fan Xiao finally realizes his obsession has nearly broken the only good thing in his life, he shifts from destruction to self-sacrifice. By handing Shu Lang the evidence to destroy the Xiao family, he finally gives Shu Lang the power he had previously stripped away. (And when Shu Lang is too kind to use it, Fan Xiao takes the lead and sends it himself.)

His years of "protecting from the shadows" show a genuine change in character, but for me, it is hard to forget the toxicity. I found myself deeply conflicted. I wanted Shu Lang to find peace, and I wanted Fan Xiao to become a better person, but his actions were incredibly toxic and emotionally abusive. Even though he spent years atoning, the "scars" are deep. The ending gives them a "healthy" last chance, but it leaves me wondering if a relationship born from such manipulation can ever truly be happy. MAybe I feel that way because the "atonement" happens in the last 2 to 3 episodes, it feels like only weeks have passed rather than years. This makes the redemption feel a bit rushed and makes it hard for me to actually see the "atonement" and reasoning for Shu Lang (other than an unhealthy reason) to go back to Fun Xiao.

If you enjoy stories about complex trauma and the messy, dark side of human connection, To My Shore is a must-watch... just be prepared for a moral rollercoaster.

Story: This drama has a rather 'dark' message. It is about how the society is biased - biased against those who are not born into the right family. The main character is a woman who believes that through hard work, she could make it in life. Despite being really good in her studies and a hardworker, she was constantly side-lined because she did not graduate from an overseas University and she is practically a nobody. After suffering a long and turbulent relationship with a man who comes from the same background as hers, she learned that the only way to the top is through connections and by snatching a rich husband. Hence, begun her Alice in Wonderland-like story. This story is a look at "the other side of the coin". It is easy for us to hate gold-diggers and call them names, but this story brings you the 'justification' why certain women became gold-diggers. At the end of it all, you'll find yourself cheering for the woman to succeed in snaring a rich husband and agreeing to all of her rationale for doing so. This is why, this drama has a 'dark' side to it. Younger viewers watch with care. You need not be a gold-digger to succeed in life. Heck - Tommy Hong (in the drama) did it and he did not marry a rich wife! One just need to be smart and not a straight arrow.

Acting/Cast: I was really excited for the drama when it first started showing but the biggest disappointment, unfortunately, is the acting. There is hardly any chemistry between the male and female leads. Hello! This is supposed to be a romantic love drama - not "let's have a big brotherly and sisterly hug and a very polite kiss and call that a chemistry" drama! I know that there are many ppl out there who likes MGY and thinks of her as a great actress but I am not one of them. I knew long ago, that she has her limitations in acting and for some reason, I do not consider her a beauty. Her acting in this drama is the worst so far. The male lead, PSH, was a saving grace with his ability to act childish at one moment and dead serious at another. He has proven that he is a versatile actor. Unfortunately, even he could not manufacture that sort of romantic chemistry with the "sad or happy-fake-smile-only" MGY. The drama could benefit from getting an older and more versatile actress. The other casts did great, but the extreme lack of chemistry between the leads killed it for me.

Music: The music is passable.

Rewatch value: For me, the first time is the last time. Glad I finished it, but don't think I would be re-watching it.

Overall: Passable entertainment. The IDEA of the story is interesting and has great potential but the lack of chemistry between the leads killed it.

Dramas are made to create an embellished version of reality so we can enjoy it and relax and fantasize.
Which is why dramas trying to portray real life are often slower and not as entertaining.
The writing for this drama is pure GENIUS, a lot more real and mature, definitely a lot less cringy-cliche than most dramas out there but still manages to keep it sweet, funny and entertaining.
There was no epic confession or slow-mo dramatic moments but I felt so much emotions watching this drama. The comedy is ON POINT, I laughed so hard.
The actors are phenomenal and were able to keep this bittersweet melancholy that adulthood can bring while remaining funny.
The emotional parts have a very mature/real impression which I loved because for once, it wasn't overdone.
This drama doesn't have to be relatable, you dont have to be in your 30's to understand its message, it's just a very beautifuly done and slightly different slice of life drama with an OST that will stay stuck in your head for the next month.
I totally recommend it.

Worth it for episodes 3-4, 9-10, and 13-14

An anthology of ups and downs.

Episodes 1-2, Tue&Ake – 4 stars, cringe
Episodes 3-4, Sun&Nuea – 8 stars, super cute
Episodes 5-6, Team&Mon – 4 stars, feel really sorry for Mon, there wasn’t much chemistry between the pair so I didn’t buy into Team really loving Mon.
Episodes 7-8, Thurs&Pae/Pao – 6 stars, it was okay.
Episodes 9-10, Puth&Kaeng – 10 stars, they need their own series like now.
Episodes 11-12, Choke&Sat – 1 star, I can’t even tell you how bad this was, you just need to experience the horror.
Episodes 13-14, Masuk&Jia&Tir – 10 stars automatically because I cried twice, like full on sobbing lol. Definitely had it’s flaws though like I wish the fire scenes were more realistic, but Perth did a great job with the story he was given. Also, in the final ep Tir was so creepy watching Masuk and Jia it was hilarious.
Final ep - nice addition but nothing special overall.

It's such a shame that the storylines were not very well written as all of the actors did such a good job with what they were given.

I found it strange that the friendships weren’t explored more deeply throughout the series, by the end, I had no idea who was friends with who to be honest.

I'll definitely be rewatching episodes 3-4, 9-10, and 13-14 but I'll be avoiding the others like the plague.
