Doce e cativante

Um drama que entrega uma história envolvente sobre segundas chances, amadurecimento e os sentimentos que nunca desaparecem.
A trama acompanha Daonuea, um jovem que se declara para Kabkluen no último dia do ensino médio, mas acaba sendo rejeitado. Anos depois, ao entrar na faculdade, ele descobre que terá que dividir o quarto justamente com seu antigo crush. Esse reencontro inesperado desperta emoções conflitantes, trazendo momentos de nostalgia, tensão e esperança.
O roteiro acerta ao construir uma relação que se desenvolve de forma natural, sem pressa, permitindo que os sentimentos evoluam com profundidade. A atuação dos JoongDunk é um dos pontos altos do drama, transmitindo com sensibilidade as inseguranças, o carinho e a conexão genuína entre seus personagens.
Outro ponto positivo é a estética da série, com cenários lindos e uma fotografia bem agradável de assistir.

STORY:
A typical modern-time-travel-back-to-ancient-China thing. Which is something I oddly really like!!! Idk, I just always think time traveling to ancient China is the coolest thing ever... I really like the ideas thrown in to make this drama of how and what it became. It later on turns out really unexpectedly weird with a sort of plot twist in the end, which though it does all makes sense in the end in it's own way, I guess.

ACTING/CAST:
Acting is 8/10, most did very well and some did ok.
Here are some of my thoughts of the main characters:

Xing Zhao Lin as Mo Lian Cheng:
OMG he is soooo adorable and sexy. I freaking fell deep in love with him. How can a 20 year old be so freaking hot!!! *Sweats & gulps* I caught myself falling for him and I was like, why does it feel like I am falling in love with him?! So weird?! Okay! Okay! Anyways! This drama shows very well of his acting skills. When watching Princess Agents, I never thought Xing Zhao Lin would have such skills!!! XD His character is so full of love and soooo fucking romantic even I felt the need to want to be his wife, LMAO. He is suuuuch a maaaan, whooo!

Liang Jie as Qu Tan Er/Xiao Tan:
She is a real talent... I am very impressed of her playing as 2 different characters. It shocked me like wow... It seem so legit like she can truly act as a gentle woman and you would believe that is her nature until she was playing as someone else who is wildin. That was the part of her that got me the most, so I think they did a good job choosing her for the role. When actors and actresses are to portray different characters in one show or movie & it is that believable for you to dislike the "other side of them", that is when it shows their true talents. She did a very good job in this drama. She's very funny, it's cute, I truly enjoyed her in this drama.

Wang Richards as Mo Yi Huai:
He is very handsome. LOVE his cheekbones, LMAO! This is my first time watching him and I really love and enjoy his cheekbones and his pretty face, ahahaha. Overall, I think his acting is very funny. I can't really take his acting seriously, it just very funny... He still needs a lot of improvements or so. But his acting goes well with comedy, hahahaha.

Sun Yi Zhu as Jing Xin:
Looool. This girl was very entertaining to watch! She is suuuuper cute and adorable. I grew to like her a lot. She does a very good job as Qu Tan Er's maid. I really love how they designed her as a maid that stands out, loved how they styled her hair, it is very cute on her. How she portrays her character dealing with Qu Tan Er's switching issues is what caught my attention the most.

MUSIC:
I've heard better soundtracks for dramas. I usually obsess over and fall in love with soundtracks from dramas and add it to my playlist and listen to it often, but I was just not feeling the music for this drama at all. So I would not download the soundtrack for this drama ):

REWATCH VALUE:
This drama currently tops as my #2 favorite drama out of all the other dramas I've seen in my life as Ten Miles of Peach Blossom tops as my #1. If I were a DVD collector, I would definitely buy the DVD set just to rewatch as I grow older, lmao. But I am more of a "watch-it-on-the-internet" type due to the new generation & technology of shows and movies online. So my list is visible on my MyDramaList account! Any that stays on my top 10 is definitely worth rewatching.


Love, love, love it so much. This masterpiece will always have a spot in my heart forever! It's so cute and I'm glad I had came across it to be a part of my life. As a 24 episode web series, it is definitely must watch!

if you got tired or just finished some drama and just want something without twists and just sweetheart story this is it! This is like cloud served as the dish, fluffy and cute and adorable I coo all the way trough this (and secretly cry because single since birth and haven't experienced any of this) but I bet people find it relatable and I wish korean dramas would sometimes do fluffy work like this to relax some viewers from all the brain work we have to do on revealing twists and throwing theories. For WebSeries this is so awesome! The camera work is 10/10! Just nice show to see the view points from male friend/boyfriend/grilfriend/girl friend just really it's so short that you won't lose anything to give it a try I can assure you it's so adorable and good for just lay back and enjoy it!?

When I began watching this drama, I had gone in with reading only the synopsis (The old one, I changed it after I watched the drama) and I was absolutely terrified. Thankfully, although the story had a few weak points and the male character was aggressive, there were no rape scenes and the male character came to love the FL through her personality and perseverance.

Yes, the child of the ML was annoying, but that was mainly under the influence of the ML's dead wife's sister (Who is in love with the ML).

All in all, this is a lighter sort of watch that you should give a go without investing too much of your brain or emotion in. It won't cause you a lot of damage. :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this drama. I have no expectations at all when I started. I was filtering through MDL for a rom-com historical romance C-drama and I stumbled upon this gem.

The characters are easy to love. Each and everyone of them. They are officially my historical #squadgoal.

The plot is solid too (if you ignore the time travel chuchu). Keep in mind that this is rom-com but I love how they solved everything in a funny way. I was laughing out loud in some scenes because I know something funny will happen any moment.

The romance is not cringe-y for me but rather they look natural regardless of how raw they are as actors.

While this may be a low budget drama, it exceeded my expectations and I was very satisfied with the hours I spent watching these two seasons.

Nothing great but finally a coherent story in a Jdrama (for me)

My review will be biased because I've been so disappointed by Jdramas in the past that this seems gold, lol.
Finally, a coherent story that was also enjoyable. It is not the best story, and even the acting is not the best, but the ML really tried. And the story progression makes sense. For once I was not pulling my hair out while watching a Japanese drama.

I feel like the mother's drama was unnecessary and not needed a lot. It was pretty short to be fair, but in 9 episodes, even that seems long. Other than this one thing, I didn't really find anything to complain about per se.

For the FL to be experienced, her reactions to any sort of intimacy were quite hilarious. Nonetheless, a very easy and simple watch. :)

I've been seeing a lot of comments (on YouTube) saying that the acting was bad, but I don't think that was the main problem. Instead of saying the acting was the worst part, I'd say that it was actually the story itself that made it seem like the acting was bad. I do see that the movie was probably trying to show how a college student boldly gets into a homosexual relationship in China, where homosexuality is looked down upon, but the movie skips too many important details, which makes the characters seem unreal. This could have easily been solved if there were more scenes and/or dialogue among the main characters so they'd have more depth to make this movie worth watching.

I'd say if you have over an hour of free time and have no more recommended dramas to watch, then watch this movie. I appreciate its efforts in making the movie about a homosexual couple, since China is, as far as I know, generally homophobic. However, the quality isn't as good as I had hoped it would be.

Not a sequel to Ghost Boyfriend or Ghost Boyfriend 2

Not a sequel...

STORY: This is NOT a sequel to the first Ghost Boyfriend or Ghost Boyfriend 2. Completely unrelated, again. OK, so this time it seemed they tried to do some kind of horror movie, for 20 minutes, then the next 15 minutes was a quirky comedy, snooze through a few more minutes back to horror, then barely stay awake for more comedy, to end the whole thing in a very confusing plot twist with more horror... if you managed to stay awake long enough to see the ending. This was pretty boring, also they used being "gay" as a means to deceive each other when neither guy is gay. There is no "boyfriend" in this at all, bromance, or otherwise.

ACTIING/CAST: Nothing stood out, in fact, most of it was very amateurish.

MUSIC: Well, there was a song at the end but I basically skipped the credits cause I didn't care about this movie.

Rewatch Value: No.

Overall: Queer baiting, and not even good at that. After 2 "sequels", I suppose I should give up on the hope of ever a true sequel to the first movie.

What a lovely gem! Watched it without any expectations and finished it blown away by how much I've gotten attached with all of the characters. As soon as I read "Thank You for watching The Package" in the subs, I miss them already. I love that this drama stayed true to itself until the very end. No unrealistic villains, no unrealistic plot twists, no cliched conflicts, love triangles etc. that we more often than not see in Korean dramas. The balance between comedy, romance and angst to a certain extent was done brilliantly! All the characters are real people you can relate to. Here, you have a male and female lead that you can root for with or without the romance. Oftentimes, we wish for a happy ending because that can only be the saving grace for a drama but not in this drama. This drama did not need a saving grace at all. It's also quite amazing how both leads are uniquely charming in different ways yet both so relatable and realistic. I didn't know Jung Yonghwa can do comedy! What a pleasant surprise as well. And let's not forget those perfectly executed intimate scenes between Jung Yong Hwa and Lee Yeon Hee! 10/10

This is how medical dramas should be done!

All of the medical cases were weaved into the story seamlessly. Excellently executed. Great characters. Master Kim embodied the righteous teacher you would want to learn from, who had made mistakes and had learned from them. He was such a mentor to the younger doctors in the hospitals. He inspired them. He also stood up for them, in many satisfying scenes.

I've seen a number of Korean medical dramas, and most of the time the surgery or medical cases only served as plot devices to move the story further along. More often than not, it was difficult to be invested in the cases. However, with this drama, each medical case really brought along a lot of emotions and drama, as you learn not just from the doctors, but also from the patients.

This drama especially reminds me of early days Grey's Anatomy. Lots of heart. Lots of tension. Satisfying to watch when injustice is overturned, which the doctors face on an almost daily basis.

The romance, while light in this drama, is well done for its realism.

Watch this if you are in the mood for a medical drama and you will be drawn in by the doctors at Doldam Hospital, who put saving the lives of their patients above all else, as true modern day superheroes. Be prepared to drop some tears!

I actually had a hard time watching this -____- There were times when I just wanted to give up on this drama. I couldn't stand some of the actors/actresses acting. Especially the person who was playing Mike He's older brother. I think he played his part sorta well (clueless, weak & can't stand up for himself), it's just when he's acting w/ other people, for ex. w/ his gf, then he looks stiff & awkward. I usually fast forward his scenes w/ his gf since they were pretty much predictable.





Other than that, I kept on watching since I'm a Mike He & Cyndi Wang fan. I love these two & they're so adorable together ^-^ But I don't think Mike He should sing XD As for the story, I enjoyed it. These are one of those stories that they pulled in the amnesia thing, which I don't really like since I've seen so many of these. But still enjoyable.

Teacher Mechanic Accountant Pilot

You know they began to run out of ideas when they start to merge professions. It makes me wonder what might come next, but the entire law genre had plateaued, and coming up with new unexplored ideas got only more difficult. The entire hearts swapping operation at the beginning of the drama was flawed and didn't make any sense. Instead of giving us a cohesive storyline, we were left with this mishmash of abandoned subplots and forced plot turns that were hard to sell. You may expect a lot of highly implausible scenarios and you gonna nod your head and just accept it. Neither of the main leads brought any appealing character or performance making it difficult to empathize with their struggles or connect with their motivations.

I've finally completed Wong Kar-wai's "Informal Trilogy" in such a weird sequence: In the Mood for Love, 2046 and now Days of Being Wild.

If I've said that In The Mood for Love will make you feel exactly just that and 2046 would make you in the mood for heartbreaks then Days of Being Wild will give you the mood to be just that—wild.

Days of Being Wild is only Kar-wai's second film and it both shows his infancy but also how he shaped his identity as a director as well as his characters, some of which have regularly appeared throughout the Informal Trilogy.

Leslie Cheung plays the young and charismatic but emotionally unstable, York who is a womanizer. Cheung, whom I have seen in Happy Together with Tony Leung is really a charismatic character. He embodies a sexiness that's untamed and draws you in as a viewer. It's no wonder that two of his flames are so madly in love with him. Much like in his character in said film, Cheung here is also on the verge of self-destruction further heightened by his familial identity.

But Kar-wai doesn't just focus on Cheung. He also gives us Maggie Cheung's Su Li Shen, Carina Lau's Mimi and to an extent, Andy Lau's Tide perspectives—all of whom are grappled with their own frustrations that ultimately involves York. It's York's own biological identity that shapes his relationship with women and eventually, how he lives. He is damaged but it is not romanticized. Kar-wai isn't a pessimist, he is just showing rawness.

Kar-wai traits also plague the screen: cramped spaces that seem to emit suffocation, unusual angles highlighting the characters and their interactions, dark and damp and nostalgic setting—all embody Kar-wai's consistency as a director and how his filmmaking drives his story as much as character even if it's lack of a strong plot.

There is so much tension in this film, so much dramatic build-up and so much longing. How much does Li Shen long for York? How much does Mimi long for York? How much does York long for his mother? How much does Tide long for Li Shen? Each minute is made with beauty, each glimpse, each touch feels like it's consuming you. Just like Li Shen and York's memorable 1 minute, Days of Being Wild has been another memorable beauty of a film.

This film, itself, is about identity. Who is York to his biological parents? Who is Li Shen without York? Who is Mimi when she is not Mimi? Who is Tide as a sailor? Every fleeting seconds matter in discovering who we are and how each person in our life shape us.
