Why is it so underrated??
This show is a masterpiece. I never write any reviews but there are things that deserve some love and this is one of them. It has everything you could ever want - amazing plot, fenomenal acting, insanely good music (I am singing the opening ever since I finished watching this series, no joke), very well written character development and the relationship of the main characters couldn't get any better. I'm genuanly in love. If you're not sure if you want to start it - YES you do.Was this review helpful to you?
Excellent. Not a waste of time. Must watch.
I first held off the drama for a few months even though I knew it was one of the most popular Kdramas of all time. But I decided to watch it and it was amazing. I regretted not watching earlier. The acting and the music were my favorite parts. Everything in the drama was well written and directed. The bromance was so good too. And most of the events made sense and I was able to understand why they occurred and how. I watched this 2 times. Once myself and once with my mom. I enjoyed it both times and got excited and hyped up. My mom doesn't know Korean (I only know a little tiny bit) and we were watching with Japanese subs cause it's my Mom's first language but my mom had a little hard time understanding what's happening and I had to explain it to her. But anyway, I recommend you watch this drama. Was this review helpful to you?
Worst story telling ever
Initially I was very excited to watch this series as the movie was absolutely heart breaking and who doesn’t love a happy ending? Both Flukes were more of supporting characters. The entire series seems more focused on the other couples which has nothing to do with the original movie. It leaves little to be desired as the entire series seems to only be leveraged on the movie’s title and the directorship and storytelling was absolutely bad... I was absolutely shocked that it’s by the same director who did the movie as it seems like it’s done by two different people instead of the same person. As much as I would like to see a proper remake of this... I Guess this is why “Love of Siam” ended at where it was and will always be a master piece in our memory and hearts same goes for the movie of My bromance and not this series ?Was this review helpful to you?
THE BEST
I don’t even know where to start. from the beginning this drama is such a hit that keeps you still in your place. I wasnt a big fan of park seo joon and didn’t even know kim dami but after watching this i fell in love with kim dami’s acting.Ki Dami played her character soo good that it was worth watching it multiple times. She was the most bitchiest, annoying, narcissistic, insensitive, jelous, cool, strong, intelligent, hard working, and THE MOST LOVING character that loved park saeroyi more than anyone could.
Whatever she did, she did it out for love for him. From the beginning its always been him for her.
I would definitely recommend this drama to everyone
And park seo joon’s character was also very well delivered to the audience we could see the hurt, revenge and love for his people and his never changing attitude.
Overall a worth watching drama. Definitely should give it a try!

Not really comedy, not really action
Even while watching this during stay home, I considered dropping it mid way. But I watched till the end, and my opinion didn't change much. Though I have to say, the movie tried to catch up at the end, but it was too late. If it wasn't for Yu Hae Jin, the movie would have been dismissable. But even he couldn't make the movie a good one. The story had potential, but may be, the way it was handled and the miscasting, all doomed the movie to flop. It was a complete mess between comedy, action, and a little bit of romance, but you can 't say any genre worked fine. Again, Yu Hae Jin did his best, but it wasn't enough to make it work. Watch it for the sake of arguing this review, may be you find something I couldn't see.Was this review helpful to you?
Great
I don’t know why some people give this a low rating, I enjoyed it so much that I’ve watched them All twice. I think the chemistry between Mew/Gulf was on top form the passion between them was amazing I wish other series had chemistry like these 2 did, I found the music annoying sometimes and the sound quality was low, I liked Types parents His Dad was funny and I also like No He was very comical, I found the 2nd couple in 7yrs of Love a bit boring but finally they got together I’ll prob watch it again in a couple of months lolWas this review helpful to you?

Real Life Situations.
The show is about two friends, becoming lovers. a kdrama trope you're mostly going to see. This show made me feel A LOT of emotions. Mostly going from happy to mad. And repeating. The story is pretty real. Y'know parents not liking the guy her daughter's dating and thinks of him as family. Pretty alright. And with the whole thing with the se*ual harassment at work situation.
The only thing that's stopping me from this becoming my favorite is Jin-a's character. She's too weak, like very weak when it comes to standing her ground. Sure she did argue with her Mother saying "Jin-hui's the one" but that's all she can do. Say that. She can never stand her ground and stop making her self be a controlled puppet. I consider her one of the most annoying female leads out of all female leads I've seen. The only characters you can even like a bit is Jin-a's dad, Jin-hui's Sister and himself. Maybe a bit of Jin-a's brother.
The whole timestamp being an hour and something something minutes long was SO unnecessary honestly. Hospital Playlist did WAY better with the time duration than these fools did. Made me even have to use speed by 1.5x on Netflix to not waste time.
The acting is too amazing to even talk about. ESPICIALLY. ESPICIALLY JIN-A'S MOTHER! OMO, her acting to AMAZINGGGG!!! They're even some times when I even hate her character to the fullest, but can understand her to! I watched this drama because of Jung Hae In and Son Ye Jin, wasn't really worth much though.
The music, shut up with it already. I know One Spring Night does it but geez bro, the sound track here is cringe, well, one of them. "It's hard to be a woman"," SHUT UP! The worst soundtrack in this show. Love Alarm even had better soundtracks then this lol and I don't even like Love Alarm that much.
The re watch value? LOW! I cannot stand Jin-a's annoying mother in SO much scenes, could only re watch for my lovely Jung Hae In and a bit of Son Ye Jin
In total, If I knew how bad the female lead was, I wouldn't have watched. So I wouldn't recommend this to anybody unless they wanna ki*l themselves with long time duration and boringness in this show.
I could've even re watch Vincenzo with this ridiculous timestamp. I consider anybody who gives this a 9 or higher a straight out monster, sorry not sorry. One Spring Night is better in some aspects.
I'm only giving it a 7 BECAUSE of the main couple <3

A perfect Romantic Comedy
This is my first review here. That means this series made me do something that I usually don't. Story wise it is very basic. Pretend relationship into real relationship is an overused drama trope. When I started watching this series, I was quite confused by Sarawat's expression to the point I thought he was such a bad actor. But the big reveal in the episode 11 made everything so clear. So don't drop it if you are getting confused. I can't count how many times I rewatched the previous episodes and Sarawat's expressions made so much sense to me. Tine is damn cute.
I loved the fluff and the lovey dovey moments. This is definitely going to be one of my favourite series of all time.
Those who enjoy mature content in BL may stay away from this one. This series is mostly about portraying how a crush develops into a beautiful relationship and very fluffy moments.

Enjoyable but I was expecting a little bit more.
My initial motivation to watch this k-drama was all the hype I saw on social media and the success it had in view ratings. I must say that to some extent, it is quite deserved, but my expectations were much higher because of it. I don't want to say I was disappointed, because the truth is I thought it was enjoyable but I expected more.It is curious that this k-drama uses a number of tropes present in other series, but manages to execute them all and everything turns out good for the characters. We saw terminal illnesses, chaebol family heiress x middle class protagonist, family traumas, destined souls who met as children, villain who's only motivation is to be obsessed with the female lead, memory loss, car accident and even more. I honestly felt like I was watching a soap opera but with less chapters.
I have a few problems with the main characters, especially with the idea that the male lead actively wished for her to die, I understand that he was having a hard time, but we are given to understand that he always loved her even though he had forgotten about it, so from there to him being okay with her dying is a bit brutal.... Plus that was showed up as funny thing, and well, that didn't convince me. Also, most of the time I couldn't empathize much with the female lead, at times she was just unbearable, I must admit, then I started to like her a bit more, so you could say there was character development but a bit forced. Also, the way they tell us the story and mix it with memories of the past I think it could have been done better, that's my perception, and yes, everything was connected, but there was no surprise factor.
The villains from the beginning we know they are villains, and they only fool the most naive. I would have liked a little more construction of those villains, something that makes their reasons more interesting than simple "I want to have money" or "I want her to be with me".
But leaving that aside, I think the story stands on its own, it's interesting, funny at times, it has endearing characters, good acting (although I don't know why in all the kdramas I've seen the foreign actors talk like robots lol), and of course, the happy ending we like.
Also it has particularly a good osts with good songs that I'll probably keep listening to just because I liked them.
I think I would recommend it, not with so that hype, but I think it's good and achieves its purpose to entertain.

The Childhood of Your Nightmares
I usually don't watch things like this because well.. i'm a chicken LMAO but from episode 1 it really got me hooked and I couldn't stop watching. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, the deaths were definitely shocking once they initally happened but then in a way you get desensitized when it happens the second time, if that makes sense. Some deaths hurt more than others because of the attachment i grew for some of the characters and others I either thought were an epic way to go out or didn't for at all cause of who they were. Won't say too much else but the plot twist was definitely something and the end in general just annoyed me. The soundtrack definitely helped set the mood. After this, I'll definitely won't be able to think of certain games without thinking of Squid Game. Everything considered , I still recommend it.Was this review helpful to you?

Watch for Pitch and Bank.
Story, 5.5 :I liked this series in the beginning and I really enjoyed watching Sun and Sky for the first few episodes. But their story became annoying really quickly. The lack of communication on Suns part really pissed me off and Sky was too hot headed and dramatic for my taste. I would have stopped watching if not for Pitch and Bank. Not gonna lie, Pitch kinda sucked in the first episode but second episode on, he was great. He and Bank were so funny and I think their story was much better. Their drama was more understandable and was resolved much quicker, which I enjoyed a lot. If only they'd had more screen time to show more of their relationship building and some more cute couple scenes.
Acting, 6.0:
Sky wasn't very good at dramatic scenes, Sun was a bit too stony for my taste but that is more of a charecter critique than an acting one. Pitch and Bank were pretty good, not incredible but good enough.
Music, 5.5:
I didn't pay much attention to the music so I can't really say much.
Rewatch Value, 4.0:
I would not watch this again. I will watch Pitch and Bank edits because I really do like them but they don't have enough screen time to justify watch all the episodes again.
Overall, 6.0:
I enjoyed it but I think that it's not worth all the hours it took to watch. That being said, I really like the first few episodes and Pitch and Bank are cute so I'm giving it a higher rating than I would had Pitch and Bank not existed. Watch this if you want but if you want Pitch and Bank alone without Sky and Sun's annoying drama, just watch edits on YouTube.

As the headline says, it's just a simple romance. If you're expecting something great out of the story or your typical twists and turns in a drama, you won't find that here. It's just plain and simple romance. I'm not saying that it was bad but it wasn’t great either. However, Radio Romance did succeed in one thing and that's making the viewers feel stuff what I mean is that you will laugh, feel the fluff, and possibly cry at some point. This drama is a good "filler" if you're feeling that drama burnout because it's just so sweet and a bit refreshing.
Acting/Cast:
Kim So Hyun is very natural and effective (I'm a big fan of her and TBH the main reason I watched this drama was because of her) she's just so good at conveying emotion. She was so natural that I couldn't even see that there was a big age gap between her and Yoon Doo Joon. Speaking of Yoon Doo Joon, he portrayed a socially withdrawn top star perfectly. There were times that you just wanna hug him and say "it will be alright". Yoon Park was great too but I just didn't like his character that much.
Overall:
The main reason that I gave Radio Romance a 7.5 was because it a bit too cliched but still very much watchable. As for rewatch value, just as I stated earlier this drama is good as "filler" you finish it once and you're done for good unless you have a big obsession with Kim So Hyun (like me).
Will I recommend this? it's a DEFINITE YES especially if you're feeling that drama burnout. Just chill and enjoy all the fluff that this drama gives.
