I am still crying as i type this review haha. It was short, sweet, and emotional. MIR goes down as a Thai BL classic for me and it was amazing to see Tee and Fuse together again. Also great to see Fuse no longer being wishy washy. You could see so much improvement in Boom and Peak’s acting in MIR 2 and they have just continued to improve. I was ugly crying right along with Fuse in the last episode. They really scarred me i thought they were about to drive the ship off the cliff but it ended the only way that is acceptable. I just wish that Book and Frame got a cameo as a couple. If you’re looking for a quick fix see Why R U? Ep2 for a Tee/Fuse cameo. I love Boom and Peak and hope that somewhere down the line they’ll get to reprise these roles again with the whole MIR crew. Worth the watch and short enough to rewatch at least once if not a few times lol.

The cinematography was out of this world !

The show was a bit overhyped because IU, the queen herself was the main lead. Coming to the story line, it was refreshing and engaging compared to other fantasy dramas. A great concept even though it wasn't up to the mark.
The show leaves you with a bitter sweet feeling like any other IU drama.
Ost!!!!! The osts were soo good, which was the only reason I didn't dropped watching it. You know the drama is worth watching when punch sang the ost.
Overall the drama was fine ( it could've been more better tho )

This movie is sweet, colorful, and just plain ridiculous. Therefore, I love it.

I have not read the original manga it's based on (although I plan to), but I could tell the writers were really speeding through the story (kind of like a bear rummaging through a picnic basket). There's an odd balance between moments that were clearly meant to be over the top, moments that were clearly not meant to be over the top but were anyway, and moments where you weren't sure if they were going for over the top or not (especially towards the end). But it's just so dang cute that I don't care.

And this review would not be complete without mentioning how much I love the fashion sense of our main characters. They were just so dang colorful!

I liked the character development between the characters. You saw Saifah and Zon who used to hate each other and ended up dating and getting comfortable with each other. In the multiple scenes where they could've kissed and didn't was done SO well. You saw how Zon didn't want to kiss and Saifah actually pulled him away and didn't force Zon to kiss him. Which I thought was done well because Saifah respected that Zon didn't want to kiss him and pulled away. Another thing is how you saw Zon getting comfortable around Saifah. After they were both gonna be in the music show thing you saw them develop the friendship even more. I also liked the fact of how you saw Saifah patiently waiting for Zon. He didn't immediately go after him. Most of the times were just him teasing Zon, he didn't exactly hit on Zon. (From what I saw)
Also, the thing about the novel. I found it uncomfortable how Zol wrote a fanfiction with her BROTHER in it. Like If I were Zon I would grab her laptop and delete that crap. Not make a promise with her! I just found it uncomfortable about how Zon's own sister would make a fanfiction of him and Saifah. They could've made a different approach in my opinion.
I can't wait for the special episodes of Saifah and Zon. Due to COVID 19 some scenes weren't filmed in time so they have to wait until this passes over.

For P'Fight and Tutor one thing I didn't like is how Fighter randomly kissed Tutor. You saw in the series how Fighter actually liked Tutor but, if he didn't like Tutor he would be leading him on and breaking his heart. But luckily Fighter liked Tutor and they became a couple. One bad thing is dad's drama. I don't think it would actually be done that quickly. The dad's drama just felt like a filler.
I also LOVE how they didn't use the stereotype where there are a soft weak bottom and a dominant top. If they didn't have those scenes I honestly wouldn't be able to tell whos top and whos bottom. That's one of the things I really love about these 2. Also from what I noticed they had a healthy relationship which was good.
Other than that Tutor and Fighter had really good chemistry and I love how Fighter took care of Tutor.

There are downsides to this series but other than that I really loved this series.

Only memorable things: good looking leads and disappointing story

I was looking for a wholesome, chill workplace romance but only got a pea sized portion of it. This happened in the first episode and things just went constantly downhill after it. The writing was less than average, and I just couldn't connect to the story. The characters were a lot of times one dimensional and their decisions didn't make sense. This drama is just another example of when writers decide that the plot should move the story instead of the characters. I think particularly, the female lead Sooyoung bothered me. She just felt like a caricature and all over the place, due to the bad writing. It felt like a waste of Moon Gayoungs talent. On the other hand, Yoo Yeonseok characters felt more dimentional and his acting was good. Overall, it just wasn't what I expected but the bad writing heavily limited my enjoyment.

Zombie Freak

So first off this is yet another Gong Yoo movie I LOVED. I can't get enough of his acting skills. If you love Zombie's look no further. This is definitely unlike any other zombie movie I've ever seen, had a bit of the basics but gave me a new insight on how to protect myself from zombie's in the future lol I'm really not much of a zombie person because of the fact they're so repetitive with the plot but this kept me in a trance. It gets emotional toward the end but overall definitely worth the watch. I really don't think you'll be disappointed with the performance from everything ranging from actors to graphics.

Inaspettato

You shouldn't miss this to add on your watchlist

First, great casting! They played their role well but hats off to the ML..He's doing the great job in portraying the role of the Adult.and Teen version.. I know he's a great actor as I've seen him many times but this series he really pull-off the character.

At first, I thought it would be a magic or fantasy as they gangster died I feel the switch as magical. However, it just part of the story. Other than, the moral lesson is clear.

1. Don't judge by its cover - Sometimes gangster has softhearted too. Don' generalize the word " gangster"
2. Bully can lead to more serious situation - Don't bully
3. People can change if given a chance at the right time and with the right people.
4. Parent must guide their child not prohibited.

Humor - the humor really balanced the story.

Overall, good ending as we see that really happen in the end. The character portrayal is really good and adding the humor balance the story.

No doubt why it went viral. Satisfied and never regret trying to watch as I finish the series in one sitting..

Well paced, well acted and developed slice of life romantic drama

10/10 is my rating. This is a 2022 South Korean slice of life romantic comedy. It has 16, approximately 65 minute episodes. Alternatively known as Weather People and KMA: The Cruelty of In-House Romance.

Synopsis

Jin Ha-kyung (Park Min-young) was on the verge of getting married to her fiance after a 10 year relationship. Both worked for the Korean Meteorological Administration (KMA) and were a well known couple in the office. Ha-kyung is humiliated when she finds out, on the brink of their wedding, that her fiance is being unfaithful with a young reporter who also works with them. Han Ki-joon (Song Kang) is a forecaster at KMA and Ha-kyung winds up being the Director of the section he works in. He is the ex of the girl Ha-Kyung's fiance cheated with. Ha-kyung vowed to never have a workplace romance again but when a one night stand with Ki-joon leads to something more it may be hard for her to keep that vow. Can the two convince each other and others that their romance was not just a rebound and that they had no intention of becoming a couple out of revenge? Can they keep their relationship a secret from co-workers who may judge them as a superior and subordinate as well as for the age gap?

Review

Korean dramas are rarely risque but this one has some moments that make it refreshing and also lead to some hilarity. I liked that they slept together and it created this dynamic tension between them. Overcoming the age gap and supervisor subordinatehurdles added a layer of intrigue. Getting a glimpse inside the complexity of forecasting and the political ramifications of getting things wrong was interesting. I loved how her team grew closer throughout the series. I found each of the bonus romances believable and did not feel irritated when time was spent in them as I was also very drawn into those stories.

Spoilers

I thought her fiancé and his girlfriend who slept together and cheated on them would be irredeemable but was pleasantly surprised the writers turned it around and I was not angry on the main character's behalf but even started rooting for the relationship. The fact that she was able to put aside the hurt and become a good friend to her ex fiancé made her an all the more likable female lead. Same with the male lead and his ex girlfriend, the fact that he was always there for her and she for him as friends was heartwarming. Park Min Young is such a great actress and Ienjoy watching her bring the characters to life. I recommend this for fans of any of the main characters, for those that like slice of life, and as a well paced heartwarming romance.

This is in my top three favorite dramas. The OST has so many great songs and I listen to it on Spotify a lot. The Grim/Goblin bromance is highly entertaining and brings depth to the characters. They have such good chemistry that you feel like you are part of the drama. The Sunny/Grim story line is one of my favorites. The characters are lovable, quirky, and sometimes socially awkward. If you want to see more from these two actors together watch “Touch Your Heart”, it doesn’t have the same emotional intensity as this drama but it is still a good watch. Secretary Kim dancing and singing to BTS & EXO in front of grandpa is hilarious.
In many dramas this character would turn on everyone but I am glad to see that the character has unconditional loyalty to the Goblin.

Kim Go Eun has so much energy in her high school character that it was making me tired watching her. Kudos to her make up artist and stylist that were able to make her look 10 years older and different from her high school character. She was able to tone down the energy but you still felt her passion.

Gong Yoo, what can I say about this fabulous actor. Watch the extras, they will show you how fun and serious about his craft he is. I loved when they were in the movie theater and they were watching “Train to Busan” and he comments about the decline of Korean cinema. I laughed a little too hard when Sunny was describing the Goblin to the medium and she said “Gong Yoo.” It’s these kinds of “inside” jokes in dramas that I finally get after watching so many of them.

I’m giving this drama 10 stars because there is character development and growth, the storyline is easy to follow and doesn’t have any blaring “jump the shark” moments. The OST adds to the drama and doesn’t distract the viewers from the story line. This may get some thumbs down but I’m going to say that the lack of PDA for this drama is a plus. There is a lot of looks of yearning but little physical contact until their relationship progresses. When there is kissing, its not a slow burn it’s like striking a match, quick and heated. I don’t feel like I’m being pandered to. Overall there is little to dislike unless you don’t like the genre, otherwise I highly recommend you watch it now!

Must watch Rom-Com

Im enjoying watching this drama. It's so funny and entertaining to watch. One of the best romcom i have watched. I love the chemistry between the leads and and the second lead. The cinematography is so perfect. The story so good and very well finished. I like the acting of the cast. Cha Eun Woo, Moon Ga Young and Hwang In Yeop did very well in acting. The OST are so beautiful and Im inlove in every song. I love Love so fine by Cha Eun Woo and all of the OST. Surely I will rewatch this someday when I have time. :))

I love every single story details of these series has. From the unexpected plot twists, the flashbacks, and also the simple stories of the cast. The character really fits and they delivered really well, the music is already stuck in my mind hahaha. but the one that catches me the most was the beauty of IU! Her character really suits her since Man-weol has that resting bitch face and she delivered it perfectly. The character development of the story she has from Episode 1 till Episode 16 makes me really happy. Overall 10/10 for me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
