Okay to watch if you have free time; not a lot happens, but hey...something to watch!

I watched "The Glory" for Song Hye Kyo and Lee Dong Hyun. After reading other reviews, I agree that LDH's character seems a bit misplaced in this drama, though I enjoy seeing him and think he did the best he could with his role.

With the whole revenge for bullying premise, there are unsurprisingly a lot of triggering violent scenes. This is not something I particularly enjoy seeing, and we are gifted with a cycle of violent memories throughout the eight episodes. The story itself is pretty sad as the victim (who continues to suffer in the present day) devotes her whole life and being to getting revenge.

While it was interesting to see the relationships between all the characters develop in the present day, not a whole lot happens and nothing is resolved. Of course, there's a second season, but even in the first season there should be some sort of catalyzing action. I watched and thought to myself, "Oh man, is it just going to end here after nothing really happened?" The "cliffhanger" was weak and I'm not sure if I can even call it that.

I do want to give an honorable mention to Lee Moo Saeng. That man knows how to act. I gave Thirty-Nine a poor rating, but I feel he had a standout performance there. And even here in his few minutes of screen time, he impresses in a totally different way.

I most likely will watch the second season but this drama is far from a masterpiece.

Not sure if I fully understood this one

I've finished watching all 10 episodes and I think I have more questions than answers...
Not sure if this series came to fruition after the success of "Kinn-Porsche" but it seems that BLs with plots or at least some side stories that include gangs, illegal activities or guns are increasing a bit.

This series had the original premise of a forest ranger (Din) who found out all the bad deeds done by Chief Ingpha and wanted to expose him. On the road to that, he falls in love with Ken and both have to suffer a premature death at the hands of Ingpha and fall off a cliff in the process (similar to what Max and Tul go through in "Manner of Death"). The only original points I give to this series is how they handled Din's fake death. His sister Sai and Sai's husband, Dr. Chayeol, take him to South Korea to get treatment and stumble upon the chance of an identity switch when a Taiwanese patient (Peter Lue) dies in the hospital. To avoid any trouble with the Taiwanese authorities, Din takes Peter Lue's identity by getting his face while he is reported as dead so Ingpha stops looking for him. Up to this point, the series sounded quite interesting using a plot similar to John Travolta and Nicholas Cage's movie "Face/Off" were both undergo face transplants (except both are alive in the movie unlike this series)... however, afterwards, this series got many things wrong.

I read comments about this being a mystery/thriller type BL so, it should be somewhat confusing to keep the mystery going... I agree to some extent because, yes, I don't want any mystery series to be predictable enough for me to lose interest by episode 5 if I already know who did it. However, this series left me with many questions after each episode that I'm not sure any series, even a mystery one, should leave... for example (I might switch between Peter Lue and Din's names but you know he is the same character by now):
1. Why is Peter Lue wearing turtlenecks and leather gloves almost all the time? The necklace that Din got from the monk and that Ken finds during one of their fights seems like the only reason to wear a turtleneck... but the gloves? He is not hiding a scar or a specific tattoo that Ken could recognize, so it makes no sense.
2. If Ken goes to China why can't Din just contact him at some point during all this? Instead, Ken spends countless times crying and remembering his boyfriend. Then, Ken has to fight this mysterious man in black (who is Peter Lue) because apparently he is trying to prevent Ken from getting involved and keep him safe... noble action but without telling him or anyone else of his intentions, Peter Lue just confuses Ken and the viewers when we have to spend several episodes figuring if he is good or bad.
3. Why Sai is the only family member aware of Peter Lue's identity? Her parents and her brother Hin have no clue until Hin discovers everything in episode 8-9 and the mother suspects it around episode 9-10, but never really finds out. I also don't get how Dr. Chayeol is qualified to perform such a complicated-looking surgery, but I guess he is a genius doctor.
4. Din finds out the illegal activities by Chief Ingpha and also discovers that his boss is involved by getting payments from Ingpha... what happened to Din's superior in all this?
5. How is Inspector Don involved in all this? He seems to be part of Ingpha's group but later we know he is actually helping Peter Lue/Din find evidence against Ingpha but I never found a reason for him to be helping Din other than he is a righteous police officer like Din was a righteous forest ranger. Same with the second doctor who works for Ingpha to perform the organ trafficking but is also helping the police.
6. Ingpha even has an organ trafficking network in episode 10 that comes out of nowhere as I thought the drugs and the illegal wood were his only businesses.
7. The ending... OMG... after all the things both characters go through only to have Peter Lue charged with murder and him having to vanish again?! Now, I do think he is hiding somewhere but Ken and him will reunite at Sai's wedding that will be on the 7th day of the 7th month, the date that linked Ken and Din in the series. But still, the open ended finale was a bit disappointing after 10 episodes of figuring things out in the series.

Now, kudos to Haii (playing Ken) as he has to adapt and develop chemistry with two different actors who portrayed Din (played by Kut before "dying" and by Boom when he becomes Peter Lue). I think Haii navigated through many emotions in this series, from falling in love to almost dying due to Din's findings, to thinking he lost Din, to struggling when he begins to develop feelings for Peter Lue while still clinging to the thought of Din, to feeling betrayed when he finds out the truth of Din being Peter Lue, to accepting the "new" Din, etc. Haii does an adequate job of taking me through all those feelings (with some minor exaggerations that I can overlook). Kut and Boom had to act in very different situations so you can't compare their portrayal of Din. Both do have some good moments but thanks to questionable directing and editing, most of their moments end up being confusing to the viewer with flashbacks that come out of nowhere and situations that were not properly connected.
The other characters are fillers for the most part... Marc Pahun must be enjoying not being a GMMTV exclusive anymore as he is appearing on 3 BL shows at the same time (this one, as one of the leads in "Past-Senger" and in some of the "Our Skyy 2" episodes) and in here, he is able to showcase a bit more of his acting skills by playing some relevant role as Sai and Din's brother... too bad some of his moments get lost in silly or comedic situations that were highly irrelevant and his interactions with Sai when he finds out the truth could have been exploited much more but poor editing and directing switched out of the scene to have another useless Ken/Peter Lue moment. And, his relationship with Payu was never explored and aside from a brief steamy scene between them, we got nothing worth remembering. Other side characters like Ken's dad (who we saw as the head of the family in "Kinn-Porsche") is just relegated to being a restaurant owner in China; Din's dad (who we saw in "The Miracle of Teddy Bear" and other shows) barely has any lines in this series; Poppy (playing Inspector Don) seems to be present in all major scenes according to the flashbacks, but we never really know anything about how he fits in this puzzle; Ken's friends seem wasted as we barely got anything useful from them and instead, we got a healthy dose of DeeDee in the final episodes with him being one of the most irrelevant and dumb characters in this series. And, Ingpha's main bad guy is annoying with the horrendous laugh all the time... I know they want to picture him as a psychopath or a sociopath or both, but the laughter is just poorly done and quite distracting.

As for the sillier moments, all have to focus on the chaos that episode 10 was. First, all the killings done by Din/Peter Lue are just a joke... he faces 5 gunmen who cannot hit him once with semiautomatic guns and pistols... then he does his best impersonation of James Bond and shoots some of them, throws knives at others, and slits 2-3 throats with his knife without a drop of blood staining his face or clothes... when you slit someone's throat, the amount of blood that gushes out is quite significant... he also shoots a bad guy in the head at point-blank range and he is pristine and clean during all that, quite unbelievable. Then, he faces Ingpha who is holding Sai hostage... Ingpha still has no clue who he is until he shows him the camera/mic he dropped when they met in the forest for the first time and that led to him being shot at later. In the blink of an eye, Ingpha recognizes Din who suddenly thinks this is a Western movie and pulls out his gun and shoots the chief in the shoulder so precisely and without affecting Sai (who was sitting on Ingpha's lap and suddenly disappears from the screen until many frames later when we see her sitting unharmed on top of a rock). Then, in a weird twist, Din/Peter Lue is so revenge-thirsty that instead of bringing the chief to justice, he just kills him execution-style with a shot right in the middle of the forehead. The cold-blooded execution makes no sense... I mean, I understand Din is harboring too much hate towards the man who ruined his life, forced him to take a dead's man identity and separated him from his family, friends and boyfriend... but to kill Ingpha like that seems a bit anti-climactic for the man who wanted to expose Ingpha's actions.

In the end, the show was not the worst BL I've seen but it left the lingering feeling of "what might have been" if directing, editing, writing and acting would have come together, maybe this would have been a masterpiece given the plot... instead, it became just one more BL that failed to meet my expectations.

A promising drama about finding happiness and moving forward pulled back by awful tropes

Finding joys in life and learning to enjoy the many details in things is difficult, and that struggle is amazingly captured in this drama. Three siblings find themselves in a hopeless rut, commuting, working, and barely living. What ensues are antics, attempts, and pledges to live better, more fulfilling lives.

Unfortunately, this drama is plagued by some of the most common tropes in Kdramas. A mysterious character (Mr. Gu) is actually running from mafia-themed problems. This kind of random action genre isn't needed in a drama like this, and is often jarring in terms of pacing and storytelling. Not every mysterious character needs a dramatic backstory like this, and in my opinion he would have been a better character without it.

However, the sisters' arcs are the bigger issue. How can two main female characters have their story arc be resolved by relying on a man in 2022? Yeom Mi Jeong finds solace in having Mr. Gu worship her, and slowly gains confidence from them being acquainted. Her older sister, Yeom Gi Jeong, is worried about finding a relationship, and how to deal with all the emotions she has when she eventually gets into one. Both sisters are built up by their relationships in the end, learning to take life one step at a time. But do we really need both of them to learn this by seeking a man? Yes, you will need to rely on others and their support to get you through tough times. No, you do not need to explicitly have a relationship with those people for that to happen. Frankly, it's just unacceptable for two female leads to still require romance arcs in 2022 to actually learn or do anything.

Overall, the drama is well-acted, and it's pacing is excellent but can be too slow for some. The inclusion of bad tropes though is a huge negative for what this drama could have been. The drama does not live up to the potential it has, and I think it would be more well-received if it kept with the slow-burn slice of life genre throughout the entire show.

Complete garbage

This one had NO plot whatsoever but STILL managed to have massive plot holes.
You'd think certain characters show up to cause problems and create some kind of storyline but they end up disappearing without explanation. I had expectations and saying that they were not met is an understatement. Ai Long Nai was like a sleeping pill from beginning to end, I'm surprised I made it through the entire thing.

The acting was not good either. This is something that's noticable right off the bat. I'm I decided not to let that be a dealbreaker this time and kept watching in hopes of a good drama and sadly, as previously stated, I was disappointed.

When it comes to the music, I can't even remember it, which usually means it wasn't good but also not atrocious.

This is probably my worst watch of the year. Would not recommend, obviously.

Romantic, wickedly cute and laugh out loud hilarious! Whatever you can ask for in a bona fide romantic comedy this movie totally delivered! I was NOT expecting to enjoy it so much. I started this just before going to bed last night, convinced that like most other stupid romcoms this one would bore me right to sleep. Boy was I wrong!

The laughs kept piling up 'til 2am. I had to force myself away from my Mac screen, and that was only because I had a super important work meeting later that morning. Otherwise I totally would have stayed up and finished it.

I usually approach romcoms with reserved disdain because a lot of times the movies in this genre are neither romantic nor funny OR they're one but not the other. What made Petty Romance great was that it's funny and romantic AT THE SAME TIME, for the entire show.

Furthermore the superb acting & cracking chemistry between the leads was awesome! They both had wonderful comedic timing and played extremely well off each other. Their interaction never felt forced or awkward, but very fluid and natural, which is not an easy feat when doing comedy.

I was never that impressed with Lee Sun Gyun in Coffee Prince, but here he brings a cavalier charm to his character that neither you nor our female lead can resist. Moreover you gotta give nuff respect to a man who has the balls (pun intended) to expose his crotch for a close up. Now don't get all bent outta shape ... he was covered (barely). Still, this is NOT a pose most male actors would jump to do, but one which Lee Sun Gyun delivered with great aplomb!

Choi Kang Hee was sweet and innocent in her role without being Moon Geun Young annoying. They both did a great job!

If I had to complain about anything, it would be what Jung Bæ did when he first met Da Rim. I mean, really? Who does that? You'll know what I mean when you see it. I could not believe him! Jeez. It made me look at him with slightly less adoration...

Anyway, Petty Romance still deserves a solid 9. Fun, fresh story (because it's not a storyline you see often) & great, great chemistry between the leads. My favourite Korean romcom yet! :-)

Your standard family drama. Love the first 20 or so episodes. Hilarious, filled with lots of family warmth, cute romance and a tolerable amount of drama that doesn’t go overboard. Not at first, anyway.

You'll meet one of the wackiest drama husbands/dads ever. Best way to describe the guy is to imagine the bombastic personality of somebody like say … Hugo Chavez, only he's Korean.

He runs his household with an iron fist and expects full submission from his wife and daughters, but there's no doubt that he loves his family. In fact, he's close to perfect husband material in many ways, but a dictator nonetheless. He, along with his wife, are the highlight of the show, believe it or not!

Fans of the very cute Song Joong Ki will not be disappointed. He and his lady love are an equally humorous duo, esp in later episodes.

As the series progresses it delves into more melodramatic territory which takes away a bit of its charm. The story meanders into a repetitive mess of parental blackmail & coercion, relying heavily on a series of coincidences and contrivances that would make even a 6 yr old scoff.

I did not care for the Kim Bo-Ri story arc, much of which consists of making mountains out of molehills when her situation was easily resolvable.

Moreover, she was the typical innocent, naive ‘country girl comes to the big city’ type heroine with noble idiocy that you see all over dramaland. I didn't hate her, but I didn't care for her either. Throughout the show I kept wishing she’d go away; sadly she remained to the very end. I much preferred the confident and warm-hearted Jang Inho (though you never did see any tears when she cried! lol).

A few aspects of the show compromised my enjoyment:

The drama details the important role of fathers in Korean society. I found this notion of single fatherhood novel because in a strongly patriarchal society where women are upheld as the sole caregivers, it serves to show that men too are just as capable of nurturing children. Confucian values that permeate Korean daily life, those of strong family bonds and honouring one's parents/elders, are also explored.

You’ll fall in love with Kim Sung Soo as the disillusioned, down on his luck single dad struggling to provide for his children. KSS didn’t really convince me with his acting, but his character was nevertheless wonderful here. The only ‘nice guy' hero I’ve seen in a long time that gets my full love and support without reservation.

Now obviously if I was looking for shows which espouse Western values I wouldn't be watching Asian dramas, but the show presented a few cultural and social mores that were a bit hard for me to swallow.

First and foremost, the parents in this drama were appalling! (except Dictator Dad). Manipulative, coercive; blackmailing their children with threats of disownment and suicide if they didn't do what they say, was their default approach to EVERYthing. I couldn’t fathom how in the world such callous & bizarre ultimatums constituted love, esp when your child is rendered utterly miserable as a result of your unreasonable, draconian demands. It made me dislike the parents … a lot; and these adult children too, to some extent, because they NEVER once tried to take charge of their own lives. Not even a little bit. I’m not saying they should turn against their parents, but certainly some form of protest, defiance, a rebuttal even, would have seemed more credible than complete surrender in the face of being treated like objects rather than human beings?

Basically, this story is all about parents constantly denying their grown children the right to manage their own lives. Over and over and over again for at least 30 of the 54 episodes.

Secondly the drama misleads its viewers in 2 major ways:

1) Halfway through the lead characters are switched. So you start out thinking one particular couple is the focus of the story … you root for them and fall in love with them … only to see their screen time gradually reduce to barely 5 mins of the 1+ hr runtime. dafuq? This particularly annoyed me because I could care less for the couple who took over the spotlight.

2) For the vast majority of the show you'll be shipping certain couples only to be blindsided by the end of the drama. I hate, hate, HATE when writers pull these stupid ass stunts. HATE. IT. To avoid disappoint, don't take too much of what you see in this drama at face value.

Last but not least while romance was constant throughout the drama it was exceptionally DRY. Please tell me how many times can you hug someone as a show of affection when you're supposedly passionately in love? I know there are strong censorship laws in Korea, but certainly characters can show affection for someone they claim to be madly in love with without locking lips (or resorting to one lame ass hug after another)? Writer-nim, PD-nim, how about tender kisses on the forehead, kissing the hand of your loved one, nuzzling the face, jump into his arms lean your foreheads together & stare deeply into one another's eyes, walking arm in arm, cuddling on the couch etc? It IS possible to create authentic intimacy without blatant sexualization. I guess I'll never get used to Korean prudishness as shown on their TV...

In closing, I simply can’t get on board with the overall moral of this story. First, we’re no longer living in Silla. If you’re an adult in modern society you should have some say in how you live your life. After all your parents aren’t going to keep you warm at night or satisfy your sexual desires. Second, making sacrifices for one's children is inevitable and a natural part of being a parent. Nevertheless, biological parents shouldn’t be together at all costs just for the sake of a child. Even when you’re a parent it’s not healthy to neglect your own wants & needs ... as long as doing so doesn’t compromise the physical and or emotional health of the child. You only have one life to live, and if you’re happy, likely your kid will be too. JMHO.

Despite these complaints, I DO recommend My Precious You to family drama lovers. Is it perfect? No, but it's worth watching at least once, esp if you’re used to or no longer suffer from culture shock regarding the issues expressed herein. You’ll enjoy the family warmth, the comedy and all the secrets are revealed at an even pace so things don't get too drawn out in that regard. If you’re still a drama newbie like me this drama will be enjoyable if you go in knowing what to expect. That way things don’t come across so shocking & bizarre. It is in this capacity that I hope this review has been helpful to you.

In the beginning, I was really excited to watch this drama after hearing my favorite actor, Lee Min Ho, along with many other famous actors/singers participating this drama. Nonetheless, I had high expectations for this drama to be a great hit. The story had so many elements that could have drove the plot into a different and better direction but however, it ended up to be a cliche, predictable, and repeating drama. There were so many characters that were introduced but didn't contribute anything to the drama and their acting was gone to waste. The only character I enjoyed watching was Kim Woo Bin. His acting in the drama was outstanding. The only comedy relief was the relationship between Krystal and Min Hyuk. Overall, I was very disappointed in this drama. It does not live up to the all hype surrounding it and I advise people to not waste their 20 hours.

Worst BL series

This series is a total mess, banking only on its actors’ handsome face. It is poorly written with cringy lines and acting. Some scenes are just randomly created without connection to the series. No character development. The kissing and bed scene is poorly executed, its like I’m watching a soft p0rn. Its so unnatural.

How come a person who just attempted a murder and uploaded a sex video of someone just get a free pass in the end without jail time and was able to graduate.

The music are good tho. It is magical and catchy

There’s no words to describe this drama. I highly recommend this to those who want to see cute drama that makes your heart flutter! I was immediately interested when reading the plot. I told myself I’d wait until the drama was completed. As you can tell I didn’t wait. This drama’s really fresh from any other I’ve seen but not sure how it compares to I Am Not A Robot.

Another reason why I wanted to watch this was for Seo Kang Joon. <3 He’s my favorite actor now. His acting is remarkable especially since he’s playing a role of a human and a robot and it’s extremely hard to step into the shoes of two different characters like that. Like sometimes in other movies the double role characters have some kind of physical difference like hair or glasses but that’s not the case here so Seo Kang Joon did a great job showing a distinct expressions and carried out his roles perfectly. I found myself falling in love the Robot character. To summarize his acting in one word : mindblowing!

As for the story, the drama gets you hooked on the first episode. Most people would expect a lot science to be involved but I honestly think they showed more about human relationships and how Nam Shin, the robot, is stumbling upon different kinds of people. You will see how Nam Shin figures out more about himself while meeting the right people also while having to live as someone else. The drama is teaching a lot about how you have the power to make your own choice in a situation and not follow what someone tells you to do but act by your beliefs.

The music is literally so amazing and beautiful. The OST really adds to the feels of the situation. I’m playing them on repeat because that’s much I love them! Once I started watching this drama there was never a moment I regretted starting it. I’m taking summer courses so I hate when the week starts but omg I love Mondays and Tuesday because I can watch this drama but I wish they can come faster.

Please please watch this! I understand everyone has their own opinions and likes but I just wanted to share my experiences with this drama. It might not be for everyone but please try it out!

Always a must watch!

DANG, IT! I loved this drama! I couldn't wait for every 5 episodes to be out on Netflix so I just binged watched it on Dramacool and I'm glad I did. This drama was sweet all the way. Not even any breakup scene. YAH!

The couples are soooooooooooo cute together! I love that we showed him starting to have feelings for her and wanting to woo her. I loved every episode of it. Made me laugh, cry, and just happy all the way!

The acting was amazing all the way! And honestly, 5 years isn't bad at all. Trust me. I looooved both ML and FL. They worked perfectly and adorably together.

Honestly, I loved everything about this whole drama. It was so adorable to see the two lead together. You can tell there was so much chemistry happening, even down to all the kissing scenes!

Borderline Chinese Romeo & Juliet (With hopes of a Happy Ending) ^_^ (Updated 14/7/23)

What can I say, been waiting for this series to drop for quite sometime, for those that are Yang Yang fans like myself you will not be disappointed. Coming from watching 'You are my Glory' seeing Yang Yang in a modern romance drama, this one so far hasn't disappointed.

Story: Well right from the get go the story begins in present day with both ML/FL introduce in their parts and then straight back and forth to their history of how they once knew each other and the story really kicks off. With side stories behind the scenes so far the Side story lines have not interrupted what has been occurring between both ML/FL roles. What makes this story intriguing and similar to the above statement of 'Romeo & Juliet' is that both families don't seem to approve of the relationship between ML/FL and the plot then thickens. (Hope that wasn't classified as a spoiler lol)

Updated 14/7/23 ) Half way through this series, OMG, started off very well indeed, lots of back and fourth of both ML/FL history and family, love the intro of the new supervisor into ML life at work, his a great edition to the story development. FL so called Mother, omg.......the look the demeanour and attitude..........just no words........

There is a degree of filler episodes now as it has reached this midway point, I hope it will get back more on track like it was on the original start of this show. Still very watchable, I am hoping this does not drag on for too much longer considering 20 more episodes to go.......Side characters should not get more development as well!

Acting: Yang Yang never disappoints me so I may be biased there, whereas the FL at times does seem to fall flat with her emotions and how she portrays this, maybe its to generate the audience to sympathise with her more, etc however to me most of the time her facial expressions are very repetitive. Having said this she is not doing this poorly. Side characters so far plays really well especially the FL's mother whom legit plays the villain persona so well I hate seeing her on screen but that is because she plays that role so well.

Music: Like every Rom/Com/Drama, music suits the scenes but I do not like the fact there is no opening theme song being sung.....maybe that's just me.

Rewatch Value: So far I have seen majority of the eps x 2 times except for Ep 10/11 which I have watched 4 times now........do not want to give too much away but worth the rewatch at present......after episode 15 things slow down a bit and now at the half way point, some episodes are def not worth to rewatch as some others........hope there is not a stall on the value of the episodes.

Overall: If you are a fan of Yang Yang then this is a must watch, overall performance so far is definitely a good series if you are into this kind of genre. I would highly recommend this series to watch where able. This may change as the episodes progress so, stay tuned for more updates!

Cheers all,

Shing ^_^

A Romcom worth the while

Firstly I would like to say that all the cast members did a great job in their respective roles. To me, no one felt lacking in any way.
Song Kang seems to be the perfect fit for the role. The charisma needed to be shown by the character Gu Won was perfectly depicted by him. His acting seemed great and emotions could be felt to the audience. Looking at him playing the character was really a delight.
Kim Yoo Jung proved how experienced actor she is. Couldn't have had a better female lead to accompany Song Kang. Do Hee's character was perfectly played by Kim Yoo Jung. All emotions she portrayed could be felt by heart.
Starting my review from the first 4 episodes: I was personally hooked on to the show from the first episode, the encounters between the leads and the later tragedies were perfectly fit in the episodes. The plot was made perfectly understandable from the start and the episodes and their storyline always made me want to know more about the story. All characters were shown in these starting episodes and had some screen time to each of them. The episodes had great comic lines and equal amount of other things going around to make the audience hooked upon the show. Most important thing that dramas should have is the power to keep the audience engaged in the starting episodes and this drama hit that note well.
Episodes 4-8: The main plot started to take place here. All the conspiracy in the drama can be seen unfolding in these episodes in the perfect pace. Each episode ending was made so perfect that would keep you on your toes for the whole week waiting for the next episodes. Gu Won characters develops quite a bit in this stage and shows different emotions in him. Both leads share a great chemistry in this part especially the comic timings in these episodes. Focus also starts mainly to finding the culprit and keeping Do Hee safe. The scenes were always some what predictable but the way they were shown and portrayed by the characters was what made a difference.
Episodes 8-12: The chemistry between the leads is best shown in this part. A perfect honeymoon phase starts that everyone would love to watch. The leads slowly get closer to finding the culprits step by step. Some parts of the past also start unfolding which makes the story interesting making one wonder how Gu Won ended up like this. Many questions remain unanswered during these episodes but the way the main leads carry the story was just great.
Episodes 12-16: The climax part of the drama was expected yet was able to bring some unexpected twists. All questions are answered well in these episodes. Unlike some dramas where everything is hurried up in the last episode, this drama did it well in maintaining an appropriate pace in unfolding the story. Nothing felt too fast or slow. The last episode will also leave one satisfied since nothing was left to be completed at the very end. All moments that a viewer would want are shown.

There were scenes in every episode that felt heart touching, gave you a smile and kept you wondering.
Madam Ju had a good impact till the end of the story even though one might feel in the early parts of the drama that she had less screen time.
Noh Suk Min was as expected and one could predict everything about him yet his portrayal kept me engaged.
Seok Hoon showed clear feelings since the start yet he was not predictable and one would question his intentions till quite some time throughout the drama. It was good to see his character was never made over clingy or interfering and was just perfect as a supporting person. His comic scenes with Gu Won were quite enjoyable.
Ga Young might have seemed a bit irritable at first but to be honest till the end she become a great person. Even her actions in the first half of the show were understandable after watching the whole show. Ga Young actually was a very determined person and I personally loved her character.
Do Hee's secretary and Park Bok Gyu were a gem considering the amount of laughter they gave to the audience. Their scenes with each other and their respective superiors were very cute and funny. Both showed equal love for their superiors. Bok Gyu's back story was quite some fun to watch. Both these characters played and important role in helping the main leads throughout their whole journey.
All office characters were prefect and a joy to watch. I could easily watch more of them on screen.
Do Hee's family had many issues yet their roles were portrayed well. Knowing more about them would have made the audience connect more to them, although I have no complains since the characters which got more screen time were actually the ones that should've been given in the first place.

The production of the drama seems great. The scenes and scenery shown are beautiful. Some scenes were edited so perfect that you would fall in love with the scene. The water scene on the small rocky beach type area was just perfect and I could've kept watching it.
The OST was just perfect. Can't get enough of 'Our night is more beautiful than day'. One of the best OST's of 2023 for me. The background music be it in the fight scenes or romantic scenes was on point and enhanced the beauty of the scenes.

In some parts it did feel like they are taking some time to show the obvious and felt that there could be some more story added to the show. Last episode might feel like a filler episode with cute scenes. The story was predictable at many points which made the cast the biggest reason to be hooked on to the show. The back story was shown twice at a point in the show which dragged an episode. Some characters could have been explained better.

I can honestly not find many shortcomings since I really liked the show although I do know it wasn't a perfect 10. Overall I would highly recommend it people who love to watch a cute bubbly romcom with a mystery storyline.

P.S. Feel free to tag me or message me if you want spoilers as I tend to avoid giving spoilers in my reviews.

To be honest this drama is not for everyone.
You might have to watch a few episodes more than once to understand what the writers are trying to show us.

The main idea is pretty good and well thought even if sometimes the execution fails to make us understand what is going on.

However I enjoyed every minutes of it and was excited each week to discover a new episode.

The first 3 episodes have some boring moments but after that it’s hard not to get into this drama. despites a few plot holes (but which drama doesn’t have some???) this was very unpredictable and entertaining.

The music and the actors are pretty good. It was my second time seeing a drama with Woo Do Han after Mad Dog and I’m not disappointed.

I’m just sad to say goodbye and I can’t wait to watch another drama with these actors. I’m gonna miss this drama

This is one of the best time travel dramas I watched so far!^^ It's like a fairytale drama. ^^ This drama blow me off with kisses, from the sweet to passionate kisses.
I marathoned it for 4 days. I was so happy to heard that they are couple in a real life. They really suit each other.

The story is about Kim Boong Do who travels 300 years into the future in modern Seoul where he meets Choi Hee Jin not so popular actress and they fall in love. I loved every second of it and I liked how their romance and feelings devolps as the story goes on.

At the beggining Yoo In Na's acting was so-so, but then at the middle of a drama her acting becomes better. I feeled her sadness and crying through me. Ji Hyun Woo did an amazing job as always.

Music is very well combined witht the old and modern time.

I'll always rewatch this drama. It was so sweet and heartwarming.

Overall I gave it a 10 :D So, when you have nothing to watch or you're in a mood to watch something sweet and heartwarming this is a drama!^^

The male actor is hot! Has gr8 screen presence...
This is one of those dramas were everything that thai lakorns are about - slap kiss/ violence/ kidnapping is there...but the heroiene is equally badass and returns a bite for a bite...
There is force but not force rape scenes despite thm getting intimate...so that was somethin diff!
Except for the last epi which felt like how did this happen and the first epi where u want to kill the bitcy villian...this lakorn is really nice to watch. The chemistry between the leads is good and I am so go na watch more of this guys shows????
