Rewatching helps me get into more things on the table!
Well, Someday or One Day has become one of the biggest hit in Taiwanese TV dramas but not promoted widely as it deserves to be. However, I really empathize by seeing positive reviews really enjoy this drama and the plot was intriguing but not vague by its way following through the life of Zi Wei and Yu Xuan. Now, I have rewatched for the third time and concentrating every scene as I am not getting bored at all because they are all the elements explaining the infinite loop. Rewatching it helps me to break everything down why and how Zi Wei and Yu Xuan meet each other both in the past and present.
I remembered my first time watching the first episode really bored the hell out of me by its slow pace and that's how other typical Taiwanese dramas begin. But from the third episode, everything starts to unveil and I extremely enjoy Yu Xuan becomes an energetic, outgoing, and headstrong Yun Ru who is attracted by Zi Wei. That's my most favourite part of the drama.
By the way, the soundtrack is awesome too not just including pop, ballad, and rock composition but also some iconic pieces from the 90's in Taiwan I guess and they sound so vintage yet trendy.
The casts are all well-depicted their character, and yes the main two are perfect and I strongly believe no such other actors can replace them. After that, I started to follow and notice them both in their other projects.
There's gonna be a Korean remake which is highly expected but I believe that it cannot describe completely the culture like the original has accomplish. Imagine that which soundtrack they gonna use, equivalent to Taiwanese's 'Last Dance'.
I think now we need to wait for the movie one to come so I hope that the story can be concise but has to extract the highlights of the main picture of Someday or One Day.

I had to watch the live one because of how much i enjoyed the storyline from the anime and i can honestly say that Fukukawa Yuki's display of Irie drawn me in even more; despite his much worse comments towards Aihara. Once again i was saddened for my guy did not get the girl but also glad because in the last episode we are shown how his love would have just been wasted on her.
ACTING: (10 for Furukawa Yuki and 6 for Miki Honoka)
It was nice to of them to keep on the height difference portrayed in the anime as well, however, they would have benefited from hiring a more better actress because at times she overacted (but i liked when she pulled the faces for they reminded me of those in the anime - hehehe). But then compared to Furukawa's acting which was on point with his character from beginning to until the end; that was then when it crossed my mind that she may just be a young actress for i already knew he was already in his 20s. And after completing the series i find out that they have a 10yr difference (thank goodness i did not know this as i watched during certain scenes - sorry to those i have just slightly ruined their imagination)
OVERALL: (8 out of 10)
I would recommend this version for it is definitely better than the anime and quick y enough to keep you entertained :)

Story: The plot sounded amazing, but there were some plot holes & got really confused. It about a man who has 49 days after death to find out what happened to his family & who framed him. One woman tries to help him on his quest.
Acting: It was average, it was okay, but not groundbreaking. The lead actor & the little girl stood out acting wise. The female lead was okay.
Music: Fitted the scenes, but none of them were memorable.
Rewatch value?: I won't watch this again. Unless I want to try to understand it.
Why watch: If you are into Chinese legends, then you might enjoy this movie.
But pay attention to the movie carefully & see if you can understand.

I have watched this drama two times which clearly was a mistake! First time I really liked it, but then I didn't have watched many other dramas. Second time which is now my eyes really open up and I saw it what it really is and not just the actors. I forgave a lot to this drama only because there's my favorite actors, but I couldn't do that twice. This drama is just way too much vanilla and if I'm honest the story is horrible!! Like c'mon they started dating in the first episode!!! There's nothing interesting about that. I was embarrassed in every episode bc the things they did and said in this drama was just so vanilla that it really make me wanna puke. The characters were also so boring and gloomy. The only character that was even a little bit funny was Akutsu and he didn't even have many scenes! The fact that Risa and Hiroto broke up in the last episode but planned getting married in the same episode was just ridiculous.
Also the female lead is honestly the worst character ever. She has no personality or her own will. She just did anything Hiroto told her to do and she was constantly in situations from which she had to be saved. I don’t know a more infuriating character.
The only good thing in this drama is the actors cause I love Sakurada Dori and Fukuhara Haruka and my points goes only for them!! I remember the first time I saw this drama and I was so happy because Nao and Daichi has their own drama now but this made me so furious bc they deserved better drama!

Personally speaking, this series is actually interesting. With a different theme from any other series that I've been following, plus a complicated (and of course prolonged) conflicts, it makes me even more curious about the storyline of this series. Moreover, this series is played by supporting actors whose performance cannot be underestimated.
But to be honest, there are some parts where I have to speed up the pace while watching it. Not because it's too boring, but because of the limited time and long duration that made me have to manage my time effectively to be able to finish this series every week.

This is the last work of Cha Seung Won I could find online; and my 21st; and I can assure you his performance here is outstanding. I cannot but bow in respect.
Apart from the ending track I can't recollect any music. The track made up for that though.
I can see myself watching this again and I'm sure I'll enjoy it even better.

I liked the story and the beginning but after an hour or so it somehow takes a complete different turn. I do like plot twist that I've seen here and I didn't see them all coming so I really liked that. But somehow I felt that they wanted to put too much in such little time.
The story isn't chronical and has many loose ends.
The acting was really good in the beginning I could feel the despair by the main lead. But after a little while it became more like overreacting.
I would not rewatch this movie.
Watch this if you like a combo of many genres and like plottwists.
Skip this if you want a deep story with good character develpoment.

It is a fun, emotional, mysterious, quirky roller coaster ride! It was perfect!
This drama is one of the best! It has it all... emotion, mystery, laughs, and quirkiness. It grabbed me at the beginning and held me captive till the end. It is now one I will watch yearly. This show is about emotions and healing. If that is not what you want then it is not for you. I am not really into these kinds of show, but I have to say it was quite a surprise and I loved every bit of it!
Storyline - how do they come up with these stories? The detail and acting is phenomenal! The story was well written and well executed! I love the development of each character. The emotion felt real and you could relate with them. I put this drama off for a while now. I look back and think, “Why?!” It is so good! I loved the fairy tales in it and how it went along with each episode. I loved watching the healing of everyone involved. It was a journey but well worth it. Much much MUCH better than any Hollywood movie or series!
Acting - Oh Jung Se did an amazing job! He is quite the actor! Kim Soon Hyun... when he cried I cried right with him. He knows how to pull you in and feel his pain as his character. On top of that.. man when he came out for pictures with his hair all done.. well I will just say he is a cutie!😁 Seo Ye Ji did a wonderful job also. She really is a good actress! The rest of the cast did a great job. I have seen a few of them in other dramas and really like them.
Music - I am so glad it is on Amazon. I am buying it! I love all the music in this drama. The quirky songs are my favorite.
Rewatch - YES! One of my top favorites! I highly recommend this drama.

"No need to be rash. Someone will kill you tomorrow!"
Ivy Ling Po and Chang Yi avenge their master in The Crimson Charm. The film is an older Shaw Brothers, not a classic, but still watchable if you enjoy early martial arts movies.Chiang Tzu Chao and his daughter, Shang Ching, enrage the Yellow Gowned Chief of the Crimson Charm gang when Tzu Chao kills his son who was attacking a young woman. Tzu Chao and Shang Ching are befriended by the Blood Master during an encounter with Tsao Kang’s men. Tsao has decreed Chiang and all his disciples will die the next day. During the bloody battle, only three Chiang disciples initially survive-Han Yu, a badly wounded Yu Fang Fang, a mortally wounded Shang Ching, and the Blood Master. The three ultimate survivors will independently forge new skills and resolution to take revenge on not only Tsao Kang but the head of the Crimson Charm gang, Lin Han Su.
The acting covered a wide range in this film. Fang Mian as Tzu Chao can always be counted on to do a good job, but Shih Szu as his daughter was quite limited. At first, Ivy Ling Po’s performance was annoying as a pouty disciple but after she faced disaster, her character’s resolve and steely determination was a much more mature turn. Chang Yi’s appearance never seemed to change in films whether he was 26 as in this film or 40 in later films. James Nam showed a broader range of emotion as Ling Wu Lui, the Blood Master. Ku Feng appeared at the end of the film as the Crimson Charm Chief, bald, bare chested and sporting a leopard vest. Ku always seemed up for whatever directors threw at him.
There was a mix of sword work, other weapons, and kung fu. Shih Szu really struggled to be convincing holding a sword. Ivy Ling Po, especially in the second half of the movie did a much better job, even with her handicap. I always like when they allow the woman warrior to take her own revenge without the help of the male characters, and Ivy was able to shine during a battle in an inn. Chang Yi and James Nam both had good fights against the various Crimson Charm clans. One fight engaged tridents with annoying bells on them. The loud weapons might have made me go berserk as well. Body parts flew and #2 red finger paint ran everywhere throughout the movie.
The Crimson Charm had little story to it, only multiple revenge layers. And in the end, it showed just how destructive revenge can be as many of the clans lay in waste. While not one of the more well-known Shaw Brother films, it was entertaining once you get past some of the awkwardness of the first twenty minutes. For old kung fu movie fans. As always, I rate these niche films before 1990 on a curve.

I've said this before but I love Japanese Dramas. There is just something about them and this show was no exception. My only complaint with this series is that it was only 5 episodes. Not that it needed to be longer I just wanted it to be longer!
This is a sweet, simple, fulfilling, and heart warming show. It actually was able to tell the story it wanted without being rushed or feel like you were missing something.
I loved this show and it is definately on my feel good re-watch list!

fanfiction turned to drama
the start was very good. I knew what to expect : A light cheesy comedy in fantasy genre to fill up my time. it as around episode 6-7 when it started to get boring. what I liked to see was to see him struggle in his new found idol status. The idea of'idol" or "celebrity" is not in line with his personal beliefs ( he's a priest after all ) but he must play into it because 1. its his only way to get back to his own realm 2.other people depend on his work like group mates and company workers.
For some reason the script writers decided to focus on this power struggle of good/ evil which kinda ruined it for me. Remberary/ yeon woo cant catch a break. he is constantly fighting against devil's schemes and there isn't much time left for singing, dancing, practicing and other idol problems which made the comedy part in the first place. I couldn't care less about the antagonist or his minions. After episode 8 I skipped it to ep 11 and watched last two episodes in fast speed.
I know that I shouldn't nitpick on it for it not being realistic ( I mean the genre is fantasy , hello?) but still the idea of them winning any major awards despite having so many scandals and not being from a big company is so stupid and yet the most unrealistic part of the story is Yeon woo and Dal love plot. first of all she was a weirdo. Not any normal fan but a complete stalker. why an idol should fall in love with their deranged fan ? Second of all their love bloomed 😒 when remberary was in that body. It was gone the minute Yeon woo came back. They're 2 different people. So what was that ending? You're telling me Yeon woo / Dal are a thing now just because he remembers Rembrary memories?
I normally dont pay attention to OSTs much so I made the score up 😁😬
