What?
*WARNING*This small drama is actually weirder than the synopsis made it out to be. It was an interesting story line, which was why I had began watching it but it was just weird. Plain weird. If you like weird things, this is a drama for you. One of the benefits is that it's not that long so you can watch it in one fell swoop.
However, you can be extremely weirded out. What a ridiculous storyline. It's cute sure... but not very attention grabbing. If you want to attempt this, go for it! Just prepare yourself for weird, cringey, cheesy lines.

I will try my best to review this without any spoilers! The story picks up where the drama left off, with the real Nobunaga Oda/ Mitsuhide plotting to kill Saburo with Tokichiro. You could theoretically watch this without seeing the drama and still pick up the story, but I wouldn't suggest it as it could get confusing. Seeing Saburo's character development was a highlight. Watching him run into battles with ease, when at first he would have run away was really nice. His and Kicho's relationship was also beautiful and heartbreaking. Oguri Shun and Shibasaki Kou have such good chemistry, even though the words are never said, you really believe they love each-other.
The acting was as brilliant as it was in the drama. I found myself crying on multiple occasions. Oguri Shun wowed me playing two characters so well, and Yamada Takayuki was amazing in THAT scene at honnoj (If you've watched it, you know the one I mean!). His anguish was so obvious, but not in the classic overacted way Japanese movies so often give us with villains.
Visually the Nobunaga Concerto Movie is amazing. The budget must have been high because the sets, costumes, and effects were all sublime and beautiful. The music was the same soundtrack from the drama, I have no real opinion on it.
Overall, I would probably watch this film again, but not anytime soon as its pretty heavy.

❤ Girl from Nowhere ❤
This is my first Thai drama and I loved it, this drama is about this mysterious and smart girl called Nanno. She keeps transferring schools, she exposes other people's bad behaviour and each episode portrays humanity. Each episode was different story which made it more interesting to see differect actors, This drama takes the role of "bullied girl fights back with a vengeance" to a deliciously new level.Nanno has a very strong personality and in some episodes it's kinda weird the way she acts but I think her acting skills are amazing ❤Was this review helpful to you?

Bromance Slapstick
I'm not a big fan of slapstick comedy. It takes really experienced actors to pull it off. But I warmed up to it after I got my head into the story. The direction and editing is pretty amateurish, which distracts from the show. Let me see if I can make sense of the plot for you: Our hero is 17-year-old high schooler Jie'en. His mom has hired a tutor, 22-year-old Xie Yinong, who constantly bullies him. (The implied message here is when men are together they can exist in only one of two states: bully or gay-romantic. There's no middle ground where guys can just be caring friends.) Jie'en is in love with a girl named Ye Jinghan, so we have no reason to believe he's anything but straight. Jie'en shares his bed with Zie Yiong (his bed broke) and one night Jie'en strokes Zie Yiong's face while dreamingn of his girfriend. Zie Yiong mistakes this affection to be meant for him and from this point on becomes more caring toward Jie'en. One day, the devastatingly handsome friend of Jie'en's girlfriend, Xu Shaoyu, comes to visit while his apartment is being renovated. Xu Shaoyu is the "brother" Jie'en has always wanted. He's kind to Jie'en and helps him better with his homework than Zie Yiong. The 3 share the same bed that night and Zie Yiong pulls back the covers to reveal Jie'en cuddling with Xu Shaoyu. Assuming he's lost the younger man's affections, he leaves. (We only see the departure scene in an earlier episode and Jie'en is delighted to see him go). The final scene is the mirror image of the first scene when Zie Yiong arrives and Jie'en says in disbelief, "So...you're the new tutor my mom mentioned?" In the final scene we don't see who the new tutor is. In the first episode, Jie'en has a look of horror on his face at the sight on Zie Yiong; however, in this final scene, he has a look of delight. So, this must be the return of Xu Shaoyou. I'm not sure why the writer left the conclusion open ended, except maybe to force a sequel. We see enough of the new tutor to know it's a guy, so it isn't Ye Jinghan (the girlfriend). It isn't Zie Yiong because he has a silver suitcase and we know Jie'en wouldn't be smiling. Short of introducing a new character, there's no one left but Xu Shaoyu. Well, this was clearly a low budget affair, maybe they ran out of money to pay the actor for one more scene? It's a shame because the basic plot idea is sound and the cast is doing their best with a weak script. I'm not sure this qualifies as a Boys Love (BL) drama. This is really a Bromantic slapstick comedy. There are really no sexual situations except for innuendos that would only delight middle schoolers. The plot and the disappointing ending make this one hard to recommend. Was this review helpful to you?
Hope you who love life can also be this lucky!
"Hi Venus" is a surprisingly delightful drama that evolves from a somewhat ordinary start to become a cherished addition to the world of modern dramas. The journey of this drama is a testament to how perseverance can often lead to hidden gems. While "Hi Venus" may encompass some clichéd moments, what sets it apart is the writer's ability to infuse realism into the storyline. This approach makes even the most conventional elements feel relatable, and the viewers can find themselves immersed in the characters' lives. The nuance of the drama is truly praiseworthy as it takes a refreshing stance on relationships and serves a plethora of meaningful dialogues that infuse the watching experience with endearing, warm, and cozy feelings. It's the kind of drama that uplifts your spirits and leaves you with a heartwarming afterglow.
One of the standout features of "Hi Venus" is the impeccable chemistry between the main leads. Lu Zhaoxi, the male lead, breaks away from the typical CEO character archetype seen in many cliche dramas. He is portrayed as a playful, warmhearted, considerate, and sensible individual. This deviation from the norm adds depth to his character and makes him highly endearing. On the other hand, the female lead, Ye Shilan, may appear annoying initially, but as the story unfolds, her character's depth becomes evident. Her defensiveness, insecurity, lack of confidence, and trust issues are all rooted in a compelling background story, which makes her character relatable. Furthermore, she displays self-awareness and sensibility, allowing viewers to witness her character development over the course of the episodes.
The selection of background music in "Hi Venus" is spot-on, enhancing the viewing experience, particularly during the humorous scenes. The choice of music contributes to the drama's overall charm and resonates with fans of "The Day of Becoming You," as both dramas share similar vibes in this regard.
In conclusion, "Hi Venus" is an immensely enjoyable drama that is well worth watching. If you're in search of something light, funny, and a story centered around a healthy relationship, then this drama is a perfect choice. Its ability to turn clichés into charming, relatable moments, coupled with its realistic portrayal of characters and their development, makes "Hi Venus" a heartwarming and endearing addition to the world of modern dramas. However, what truly elevates this drama is the remarkable chemistry between the main leads, Lu Zhaoxi and Ye Shilan, which adds an extra layer of authenticity and charm to the storyline, making it a must-watch for fans of the genre.

Still, this film is far from perfect. It seems like a cluster of different scenes which doesn't always make sense. The cause-and-effect relationship is not always tangible. Sometimes, I had problems understanding characters' decisions. Having said that, I still think the film is worth watching. There's time for the laugh and time for the tears. I enjoyed most of the scenes thanks to the amazing actors.
I really think the actors are the best asset of Water Boyy, especially Ngern and Beam who played lead characters. I simply loved their chemistry, the way they looked at each other etc. Other swimming club members were so lovely and boisterous. I enjoyed every scene with them. Nam's family and Nune weren't that bad either.
Music wasn't that memorable (except the theme song), but it suited certain scenes. Sound effects were mostly fine, but some were completely unnecessary. On the other hand, I liked the scenography and warm colours of the frames. The film's so colourful that it's pleasant to watch.
Even though I think Water Boyy the Series has a better writing and pace, BL pairing lacks chemistry which made Water Boyy the Movie so good. Again, not perfect, not marvellous, simply good and enjoyable. Most importantly, I couldn't stop smiling after I'd watched the whole film and I think it's all you need to know.

Perfect drama 10/10
started this yesterday and just done watching it today (I'm sorry i hate waiting lol I love watching kdrama in one go)where do I start? hmmm
I am still in shock on how beautiful and wholesome this drama is, this is what everyone should indulge when they want a kdrama that have everything in it. like I seriously laugh like a crazy person in all the bickering but cry myself out in the ending of episode 6 and (i forget the episode but it's when shin ah is sleeping and goh jin tried to caressed her hair but he trembled and had a breakdown beside her) it breaks my heart like those scenes are wonderfully made and it made gasps for tears.
The lesson that I got? be careful on your actions towards other people try to be a little nicer and kinder everyday.
Treasure your life it's the only life you'll live. I wanna hug shin ah so bad her character is the best character I have seen in a kdrama a character that everyone should look up to I am so happy that she got what she's dreaming of (can't imagine someone taking that role other than krystal, she perfectly portray it) her character is so pure and wholesome.
overall 10/10 because it reminded me to pursue the dream I want and treasure life a little more.

One of the biggest attractions of the drama is Takenouchi Yutaka and the way he plays his character the taxi driver Edawakare. Without knowing much of his past, each episode makes us discover a little more of his antics. He's completely awkward and indecisive, and is afraid of what others think of any of his actions. For him, every moment is a turning point, and he has to think over and over, weighing the pros and cons, being honest about himself vs conforming, and so on. Even so he's pretty blunt with his opinion about his clients' decisions, and shows much more confidence in the taxi driver's seat. Then when he smiles I stop really seeing whats going on and get absorbed with that beautiful smile of his. Seriously his smile feels so genuine, and is both cute and sexy.
Another aspect I fully enjoyed is the café he hangs out most of his free time. At first we see him just as a normal customer there, but later he see him getting closer and more involved with them, like a family. That was cute and homey.
Last but not least, our main subject matter, the clients, are very entertaining and distinct. Not all are likeable but you may relate to them. The ending of each episode sometimes go to familiar places and sometimes do something unexpected and surprised us.
Finally I'd like to say this dorama may not be for everyone, being formulaic and episodic, but if you do give it a chance, I'd see to give it at least 3 episodes before deciding to continue or quit. It is a must watch for any Takenouchi Yutaka fan ;)

Well, i can't deny that I watched it because of Jang Geun Seok since I loved his previous roles in dramas; in this movie I got to see a different side of him, the other cast were good too.
The story was fair enough; there was music, friendship, love , joy, sadness and a lot of heartwarming moments, if you're a teary person you'd definitely cry in many moments of the film.
Anyway, the movie have a love triangle the kind that will make you feel sorry for the one who loses at the end. Although, I didn't like the ending but it wasn't a sad ending.
It was a good film overall but my advice is: don't watch it with prejudices or high expectations, it will be much better that way.

Acting was great. I love MatsuJun, it's always a treat to see him. Juri did extraordinarily well with him and I felt they both had a lot of chemistry. Also, her hair style is adorable. The minor characters were good actors as well, but the main two were great, as expected.
I have to say that the cinematography, lighting, and overall feel of this movie is exceptional. It's truly beautiful from start to finish, it fits the film's message, it makes you feel nostalgia for these characters that you've only known for 2 hours. It's just fantastic. If you have no other reason to watch this movie, watch it for the shallow reason of "It looks so goddamn pretty".
The music is pretty good, but I don't recall anything from the OST that stood out. With one exception. I swear, whenever I hear "Wouldn't It Be Nice", I am going to cry.
Overall: watch if you like love stories or any of the actors in the film. It's not for everyone, but it's definitely worth it to give it a shot. Or, if you're shallow and love movies that look pretty (like me), definitely watch this movie.

We read in the synopsis that the heroines change their bodies. This idea doesn’t immediately have to inspire our trust, but really there is nothing cheesy here. This is the only beginning of discovering secrets and facing the truth. A greatly played and constructed thriller for all who like good written characters and an absorbing, unexpected story.
On the one hand, we have a thriller with a motive of betrayal and revenge and on the other, some lighter humorous scenes (with assistants), and even a completely unexpected announcement of a romance. The plot is entangled, the story turns back every moment, and the script doesn’t give any hint to what will happen next, really not a clue! And, of course, our hearts are broken many times of the betrayal. And Hae Yi says: All people dream of “always”, but only shards of memory exist in each moment. In regards to love there is no “always”.
An original scenario requires extraordinary skills from actors, and everyone did great job here. So we watch famous actors in unconventional roles. The two main actresses must both play cold witch Eulji Hae Yi and passive and naive Jang Hwa Sa. Kim Young Kwang (as fiancee) and Oh Dae Hwan (as detective) have probably never played such serious and mature characters before. This was a great opportunity to show their skills and also charm. And I have to say that I even prefer charming detective.
Even Lee Kyoung Young, who always plays morally corrupt chairman, here as Ki San is multidimensional and deep and he is fascinating!, his love to his son (played by Jung Jae Won) touches my heart.
Maybe there is no great song in the drama, but an instrumental music is really good.
It is a great adventure for everyone who loves thrillers, revenge drama with a bit funny moments. Sometimes a dark, criminal drama has no hope for humor, romance, warm and friendly relationship but not this one. We can be surprised and frightened of the story, but also consoled by the warm friendship and love.
Maybe someone doesn’t like the complicated plot or the idea of body changing – but still it has to be said: actors play very well and it is pleasure to watch their characters. Drama is strong and captivating from the start to the end. If you want to watch something good – try this, you will be not disappointed.

standard 08/15 BL stuff...
After At 25:00 in Akasaka - Season 2 - this is the episode most of the girls will prefer. It's just 08/15 stuff, quite cute, not that deep and what's worse, it's the story of the fictional couple of the fictional BL.How nice would it have been if they were not the fictional couple but the fictional actors having a story and of course much more than just one episode. That would have been much more interesting, but we can't have it all.
I can't write much because it's quite underwhelming compared to the series. We don't have any character development and just 22 minutes is not much time to add depth to a story. So it's just a nice watch and you can escape your troubles for 22 minutes :)

What a wasted effort
The show started out strong but succeeding episodes failed to impress.Full of cliches, corny and unnatural script, and the producing company's attempt to include all their talents in the episodes. I also hate the inclusion of the flambuoyant gay friends, not because i hate their gayness that stereotypes filipino gay guys, but because they were taking so much screen time. I went to see the story of the sakristan and his lover and not everyone else's. They are just too much.
The final 4 episodes did become better - it at least gave the 2 leads the platform to showcase what they can do as actors.
However, just like in thai BLs, and im saying this objectively, the biggest thing i hate about their stories is when one sees his bf kissing someone else and then he weeps and becomes angry and just decides they should break up. That is just lame storytelling.
I also dont understand why they needed to make Christian's father gay, and Zach's father a priest. I dont even know why they added them in the first place. What the heck is that- an attempt to stir controversy???
And the ending? Lets not talk about that ending. Lets just pretend Zach wrote that letter and Christian read it and then the end.
Will i watch it again? Not even if you pay me. Will i reccommend it? Only If you have 160min to spare while waiting for your delayed flight or of you are stuck in EDSA traffic. I do appreciate that it is released in Youtube and its free. Overall rating 6.5 and that is me being nice.

Needed two seasons for the amount of plot it covered (minor spoilers)
Overall: enjoyable but they needed 1 season for high school and a 2nd season for college. I read the beginning of the manhwa but don't remember it well. Watched on Viki.Content Warnings: non-biological brothers raised as brothers from ages 7-17, bullying, punches, slap (not between m/m ship), manhandling, attempted non con kiss
What I Liked
- sweet moments like that jump hug/kiss
- good production value (except shaky camerawork)
- Hae Bom is a cinnamon roll who has character growth by the end (more confident/takes initiative)
- Tae Sung did apologize for something he did in episode 5 that was bad
- that Tae Sung respected Hae Bom's boundary at the cafe in episode 7
Room For Improvement
- my major complaint is it was too choppy/not fleshed out enough. For example, they say they are going grocery shopping and then the next scene 1 guy is in a shower...
- in episode 5 I really didn't like Tae Sung pushing Hae Bom against a wall and putting his hand around Hae Bom's throat, especially since Hae Bom has been bullied and then the mom's pretty calm about it...
- in episode 5 there is a dream but it looks like Hae Bom is actually remembering something and that would be non con because he's so drunk (but it was a dream)
- cliche evil wannabe girlfriend
- unknown time jump at the end
- the intro was too long/gave away too many future scenes

Definitely a rage bait show unless you binge it like those chinese short dramas
REVIEW UP UNTIL EP11:it was interesting until the script was just frustrating to watch… its just annoying when the fl is supposed to be this strong bodyguard but when it comes to defending herself she’s so weak and the choices she (and everyone in this show lol) makes is just plain stupid.
its basically rage bait atp.
i enjoyed the show until she left the village- like genuinely, i was entertained. but if i haven’t watched this much of it i would’ve just dropped it. i would recommend this only if you’re bored and looking for something to binge.
after she went back to the main house it just went downhill. like the script is just so BAD. like when they tried firing people and just idk trying to keep people out of the house- why aren’t the locks changed. why aren’t doors just locked in general. this example of the bad script is just one of so many. OH AND SOMEONE TELL ME WHY the fl always puts herself in such bad situations. it’s happened so many times and SHE FAILS LIKE EVERY TIME?! HELLO?!
i’m just so frustrated atp every single thing is making me crash out. can’t even bother writing a proper review lol
EDIT (AFTER WATCHING FINAL EP):
idk if its cuz the show is over.... but its not that bad... HEAR ME OUT
so it was all part of the plan. that's okay. i see now why the script for the end of ep11 is written how its written. if only i binged this whole show, then i'd prob rate this show higher (maybe like an 8/10).
i enjoyed this ending. it definitely felt a tiny bit rushed but i don't mind it that much. it was funny and lighthearted (after the court scene) and i enjoyed seeing baek hyeji and lee don's storylines. not sure what the point of the time skip was tbh like it felt like it had no purpose other than for the fl and ml get together. and idk the show isn't centered on romance and the only times it was shown was when the mc was in muchang with the ml and ig a tiny bit when he went to go see her in seoul. but like idk it just felt a bit rushed and i feel like the kiss scene was just rushed. instead of the time skip, i would've preferred if the mc just moved straight to muchang lol but whatever. i have beef with some parts of the script so one more wouldn't hurt.
as for the actors, tbh i started watching this cuz of jinyoung (fine shyt) and jeon yeobeen cuz i recently watched our movie and it literally changed the trajectory of my life. jinyoung's acting was okay... i saw no faults and it wasn't spectacular yk it was just alright. and jeon yeobeen was good too. idk what else to say about her acting tho cuz her character is supposed to be this tsundere who is indifferent to everything until she moves to muchang. and she portrayed it well. there were times where i was like iffy about the acting but i'll just blame it on the script cuz it was questionable at times lol. i def stayed for joo hyun young (baek hyeji) she's so fun! i liked her since wooyoungwoo but her character in this show was interesting too it was fun watching her act in this.
anyway, its a fun watch just don't think too much into things and try not to stop during cliffhangers lol
overall: 7/10
