usually I don't watch jdramas, but even I can tell that this is a beautiful thought provoking story.
I personally don't have kids, but I've heard so many of the same lines used in this drama in real life that it was hard to not relate to this.
people live by other's expectations, they feel weak when they think they're not "following" the pattern, they have a hard time admitting that they are struggling and everyone just lacks empathy. they criticize what they don't personally feel.

there are so many rules of society. "you can't keep your kid happy/quite? you are a bad mom". "you don't cook for your family? you are a bad housewife". "you don't have kids? you've failed as a woman". and there are of course other examples, even directed at men "your wife makes more money than you? then you are not a man". "you want to see a therapist? you've failed as a human". "you want to quit your job and stay at home? that's not what men do"..

who made these rules? why should we force others to live by those rules? does putting others down make you a better person? would showing weakness mean you are not... what? grateful to your life?

everyone struggles with something, but again, you can't just look at people through your experiences.. don't judge people. it's also so easy to misjudge people, so everyone should just communicate more..

anyway this is making me emotional :) basically they did a great job convening the different struggles, the slow growth of the characters was also heartwarming and inspiring.

the ost was nice and I never rewatch stuff, but this does make me want to watch more jdramas ;)

A must watch series 10/10

I do understand how everyone felt after reading the synopsis of this season 2, I was also in hesitation if I'm going to drop this or not but I give it a try, well to explain further, this is a stand alone story, so if you happen to love the season 1 (which is the series) and the movie ( the continuation of the series) you have to set aside your post drama syndrome first before watching this second season (In the sky) because this is a whole different thing.
So far, I really liked this one, the acting and expressions of Haruta is still one of of a kind. I also like the story it revolves around the airport and how the staffs handles their feelings towards each other. It's a 10\10 for me.

Jane Austin Ambiance, pdone right

This is a piece of art! The rewatch value of this show surpasses everything. By the time the last episode aired, I had rewatched it twice. The first watch was not that impressive as I was watching it with my regular lens , forwarding every slow boring scene. When I gave the show a second chance, I learned the beauty of it. It is a masterpiece and can only be enjoyed if you are ready to hear all the dialogues and see the character development of not just our awesome leads but so many of the side characters. The writing has a flawless rhythm to it. Small plot lines like where Wichai asked Anong to collect compliments given from ppl's hearts and then they can marry, even with all the admiration Wichai had for Anong, giving Anong full decision power to accept him or reject him, the natural progression of relationships e.g Anong with Wichai's sister and niece, Wichai with Anong's brothers, Wichai's servant and his back story... etc etc makes this show a classic to be cherished forever. All plots are connected and add to the depth of story.
Not only the characters are well written but the cast is beautifully depicted, yes I have always been in love with Yaya and Tor but Anong's eldest and youngest brother, Wichai's sister, niece, brother & his wife were all amazing actors.
I must admit, Wichai's mom is one character who was too pathetic and her scenes had to be skipped. She was the only one that fit the normal evil Lakorn character profile.
Display of some physical romance is what I crave for. I must admit I don't do well where there are fish kisses or none. This one had a beautiful mix of physical intimacy. Natural kisses that made you believe as if the leads are truly meant for each other but never going over board where u get grossed out with explicit scenes.
I live in States, wish they had a meet and greet with cast and crew. I would love to give them endless comments. Yaya and Tor looked so handsome in every take. Their costumes added to the beauty of the scenes. The lush greenery and perfect sets made this show a gem to be cherished.

Aesthetically pleasing to the eye, (Hong Gil Dong played by Lee Je Hoon) and the movie are definitely worth a watch! For me, it reminded me strangely of a beautiful version of Batman. Hong Gil Dong's mysterious past unfolds as the story goes on to a soundtrack that will keep you on the edge of your toes. If you like any action kmovie then this is definitely worth a watch.

Actually, I wasn't expecting to like this movie. Usually real stories are poorly presented and they lack the intensity of emotions that other films provide. However, this one is one of the good ones. The story starts softly, with how the couple met and got engaged. Soon, the girl goes into coma and the family and her fiance struggle to cope with it. Kudos to the film makers for not focusing on the coma period too much and making the plot boring. So, soon the girl wakes up, but she can't remember anyone, especially her fiance. It was nice to watch how she was trying to regain her life gradually, while the people around her helped her. The love story was stronger and more tragic at that part of the movie.
In addition to the story and the well execution of it, the performances were really good. Especially from the girl, who was amazing. She played the coma state perfectly without overdoing it and she also potrayed her rehabilitation process really well.

Powerful Acting backed up with a strong storyline & distiguished music! What more do you want?

Wow! one of the best medical drama ever!
A drama can be awesome when there is Powerful Acting along with a strong storyline & melodious music. This is that drama.
Story is intense, intriguing and gripping. It is based on the theme as the title suggests - Two lives one heart. Two patients struggle for one heart. Each doctor would make different decision which affects the 2 lives. The cases are interesting.

The story mainly tells about the 2 doctors and their choices. Choi seok han went through painful past because of a wrong decision he took with his daughter. So he changes and wants to have more power to stop the discrimination. To get that he goes on wrong path.
Park tae soo is Choi seok han's prodigy. Tae soo lost his mother because of Choi seok han but he never hold it against him. He still makes his decisions in the best of patients. So the drama shows us how different people react to the pain given to them.

Uhm Ki Joon is best as always. Choi seok han's pain, conflicts, his internal stuggle everything was just made for Uhm Ki Joon only. No one could have played it better. Choi seok han was a genius doctor, a warm person and best mentor. But a wrong choice in desperate times took him on wrong path which he was well aware of. He eventually crosses that difficult time and comes to his own self.
This is my first time watching Go soo. But man!! he stole my heart as Dr. Park tae soo!! Tae soo is a strong person and gentle person at the same time. He goes beyond his duties as a doctor. His only motto is - "JUST SAVE THE PATIENT NO MATTER WHAT!" His emotions, ideals, caring personality is well portrayed by Go soo. You root for him, cry with him, smile with him, care along with him.
Seo Ji Hye as Yoon Soo Yeon was good, though they should have give more depth to the character. Her screen time was less and in some episodes she felt like side character.
Choi Dae Hoon should be mentioned for his acting as Koo Dong Joon. He is such cutie character and the development of his character is worth watchable. His relation with his father as well as with Tae soo is great.

Other characters are good too. I loved The interactions between each characters.

Music is one of the key point of this drama. Without wonderful tones and background score, this drama would have been average. But Music is very melodious and gives goosebumps in many scenarios.

I guess they cut short the episodes, but rather than dragging to 20 Episodes with no story, this drama ended quite well with just 16 episodes.
Rewatch is possible if you fell in love with the characters. I certainly did.

This show was weak in acting and plot. How do you make an audience sympathize with a bloody, murderous tyrant? Give him a love interest. Unfortunately it doesn’t work. He is too arrogant, distrustful and cruel to be lovable. The love interest then comes off as a pushover. The MCs are young and not seasoned enough in their craft to truly pull off the depth and inner struggles needed to add weight to their performances. The supporting cast actually does a better job at this, Madame Chu being an excellent example. She even grows as a person and has a fabulous ending. She won my respect.

I found it difficult to sympathize with any of the characters in this drama They all do unrealistic things. Han Shen is the only exception, as the long suffering senior brother who sacrifices all happiness to protect the one he loves.

The costumes, design and on location departments get top ratings from me. They did a wonderful job making the show a feast for the eyes as usual. Unfortunately, it isn’t enough to help a show that lacked substance in plot. Nothing was really happening and the final 20 episodes tended to meander towards a predictable end.

My biggest pet peeve was the spoiler previews. What was up with that? I could have skipped whole episodes with all the storyline they gave away. Great soundtrack, weak drama that left me sad and disappointed.

Enjoyable vertical drama, with class acting

I came across this program through social media recommendations, and after watching it, I can definitely see why it’s getting so much praise. The acting was outstanding, and the chemistry between the lead characters really stood out. The storyline kept me engaged from start to finish, with no dull moments whatsoever.

The program runs just under three hours, but it flies by thanks to the compelling plot and performances.

The only downside for me was the vertical screen format, which I found a bit off putting . However, I understand it was designed with mobile viewing in mind, so I can overlook that.

Overall, it’s something I’d definitely consider rewatching in the future.

It may seem like I am being extremely generous with my score, but I'm not. This movie was the best Korean movie I have ever seen. I was laughing and crying at the same time during multiple scenes. The characters were all wonderful to watch. They all seemed like real people, despite some obviously fictitious scenes. The plot never felt boring or too choppy. It was well written, well acted, well directed, and anything else you can think of. At least one sentence of this review needs to applaud the director on his brilliant transitions and scenes. On top of being a wonderful story, the camera work was absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend it to anyone. It's definitely a story you can connect to no matter what!

Best acting in Japanese media but that's the only good thing about this movie

As I said, the acting is masterful. Easly the best of all Japanese dramas and movies I've seen. Maybe even one of top 10 of all media I've ever seen. The cast did amazing job, I didn't feel like they acted at all. It also wasn't anime-like or cartoonish at all which is unusal for Japanese media (that I've seen at least).

The soundtrack was also nice, though there weren't a lot of music. Most of the time the background sound was silence. However, these are the only good things I can say about this movie. There will be spoilers.

The first thing I hated was Rei's "lesbianism". Sorry but no. I am a lesbian and it was very hard to watch. She was supposed to be out of closet but she had a voluntary sex with men. What lesbian does that? Was it suppoed to show her awful mental state? Was she trying to punish herself? It's just a very weird decision for me. Moreover, I feel like it only invalidated her sexual orientation. I can't believe she's lesbian because her actions towards men don't make sense to me. Also, it made me feel sick and disgusted. I wish they discarded all the sex scenes but especially those with Rei and men. Or at least didn't claim she's a lesbian.

The relationship between Rei and Nanae is toxic af. They are toxic people and they get worse when they're together. It made impossible for me to root for them. They were portrayed as bad people, not just lost or misunderstood, but I guess it's understandable as the movie starts with a murder. (Also I love how Rei made a disclaimer she's not a simp: "I did not murder a man to have sex with the woman I love". Beautiful.) Another point is I don't believe the love Rei had for Nanae. I don't believe it held for more than 10 years and was strong enough to make her kill for Nanae. I see it as just a cheap way to move plot forward. The actresses did what they could but it's just a big plothole for me.

As for the technical side of the movie. What the hell if wrong with the camera work? It was shaking so much, is the cameraman alright? It did get better further in the movie but it never really went away. It made me quesy watching it as if I had a motion sickness. The shots were also weird, sometimes too close, sometimes too far to the side so half of the screen if filled with irrevelant stuff and you can't see the important stuff happening.

I could write more points but I don't want to spoil it too much. Also, this is long enough. I wouldn't recommend this movie but if you want to risk it then expect a lot of nudity and sex scenes, crying and not much of logic.

I just finished the finale and thought I'd share my thoughts about this blissful drama.
First, the thing that attracted me to this drama (other than GHJ being the lead) was simply the story.
It is kind of rare in Asian media to deal with HIV and AIDS as a plot line, especially like in this drama were the one affected is a little child.
This drama, above anything is a family drama, about the bonds that people build, about trust, about love, about devotion, about sacrifice, about the will to survive...and ultimately about the most important human virtue, which is being thankful and honestly expressing it. Saying ”thank you" for each and every blessing you receive, is the door to find goodness in this world.

Other than teaching about such virtues, this drama shed light on a very important issue, which is of course HIV. It is a relatively new drama so one would expect that most people in the community have enough information regarding HIV and it's nature, and transmission. But, the drama's story revolves in a rural town on an island, were people are so simple and to an extent uncultured. One then would mistakenly think that the misunderstanding the villagers had concerning the disease was the main reason behind the suffering and hardship that our brave single mother faced, and that if she had lived in a big town with more cultured persons she wouldn't have suffered as much. But on second thought, you find yourself realizing that the issue is not merely about "knowing" or "not knowing" and that even people who have acquired enough knowledge about such ailments, can still be unable to act normally around people infected with it., especially if we're dealing with sending our children around another infected child. So although while watching this drama, I was infuriated at how everyone was mistreating them, later on after giving it some thought, you find you can not 100% blame them.

The Story:
A very good one, with depth in each and every character. Loved how each characters background and history was revealed naturally without too many flash backs and monologues and reminiscence scenes like many KDramas tend to do. Rather, we were given the most necessary points regarding each and every main character, just at the right time, just in the right proportion. Also each and every character development, came with a logical progression, not all of a sudden, so you feel you can totally understand how they feel or must be feeling.
On a side note, this might be my first KDrama to take place entirely in rural Korean village. The landscapes were always so genuine and real, they showed us what an island village looked like, felt like, even smelled like. You feel as if you have been there living among them and experiencing it. This could be considered a proof of good direction.

Acting:
As usual I loved Gong Hyo Jin to pieces in this one too. She's simply awesome, never overdoing it and just delivering the right amount of expressions, whether facial or vocal.
As for Jang Hyuk, I was expecting to feel awkward at his usual over-the-top expression acting, but he was surprisingly so good in this one. He delivered Ahjusshi just the way he should be *thumbs up*
All the other actors delivered very convincing acting, and above all I would like to salute the actor who played Haraboji (grand pa a.k.a Mr. Lee) on an awesome performance!!!

Music: Don't know if it's because it's a 2007 drama, but the background music was mostly not my taste. the main ballad song was nice and the lyrics was perfect for the premises of the drama. But I'm afraid I have to admit I didn't particularly prefer the instrumental tracks in this one. Still it doesn't prevent you from enjoying the drama.

Rewatch value: This is a drama I profoundly enjoyed, and though it was bit slow paced at certain parts, over all it was a really nice watch I think I might be re-watching it sometime later when I feel like watching a slice of life drama.

This is a worthy watch, I recommend.

I felt kind of sad that this drama didn't get the attention it deserved. I really like the simpleness of the story, it isn't complicated so you can watch it with a light heart.

Jeon So-min is a good actress. I've been watching her in Running Man and she's a good entertainer too. The character Oh Kang Soon really suited her, I can't think of any other actress that can pull this character off.

Kim Ji Suk is good as always, no doubt about that. I kind of have the second lead syndrome because of Lee Sang Yeob, maybe because of that RM episode wherein So Min was flirting with him. But well, they're family now. Lol.

The people in the island are funny too. Anyway, this drama is worth watching.

Meeeooowwww (if you know you know)

Honestly, I REALLY enjoyed this movie!!

I don’t know what is it with Korea and making bullying movies and shows but damn it…they do it so well.

From the beginning, the actors do such a great job because I was so frustrated and mad immediately!! I knew the characters needed development and a little push later but I needed them to punch the bully immediately like dang!!!

It was emotional, scary and yet, so so satisfying in the end.
There’s just something so cool about a vigilante teacher LMAOO
Though I wasn’t expecting the story to steer that way, I am so glad it did because man, I was never bored during this movie.

It’s crazy how you find your passion through such a weird situation, fighting bullies as a teacher but masked? Hell yeah. I hope this concept is done once more and maybe turned into a kdrama. So so good.

If you’re into revenge k-dramas, man i’m telling you this will feed you GOOD.

It's an old drama but it's a true gem for anyone who likes a good mix of action, romance and comedy! I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end! I was laughing myself out of my seat half the time, cheering the lead guy on during the fight scenes and gushing over the romance ^_^ I started it for Ahn Jae Wook and I'm SO glad I did!!! This is not to be missed if your a fan! :D I highly recommend it! There aren't many dramas I'm willing to stay up half the night to just finish it! This was one of those times where I just had to see the end - I just couldn't wait! ^_^

Ahn Jae Wook as Kang Joon Ho was so smexy in this role! (gosh I love that hair on him) ^^ He'd make me giggle like a school-girl over his cute actions towards our leading lady ;) So adorable ^^ I would totally fall for a guy like him! He may be poor but he's got a good heart and fights injustice and has an awesome best friend - their antics made me laugh so hard :P Oh Yeon Soo as Min Joo was so pretty for one and I have to say I became a fan through this drama, she did an awesome job playing a hairdresser who falls in love with a guy who walked into her shop one day ^^ Loved their relationship ;) Kwon Hae Hyo as Dong Wook was awesome! His bromance with AJW's character was so cool and fun to watch! Son Chang Min as Lee Hyun Soo was great in his role as the antagonist - I liked to dislike him if that makes any sense :P and I love the song they played for his scenes ^^ Lee Kye In - I nicknamed him Iceman (b/c of one scene I saw him in) He was the "dumb" one of the bad guys which made him hilarious to watch! :P Kim Hye Soo as Mi Kyung was good as Min Joo's friend who makes wrong choices but tries to make the best of them. and Kang Sung Min as Dal Soo (a hairdresser) was also fun to watch (mainly b/c I kept trying to think of who the actor was, but also b/c how he liked to help Joon Ho and Min Joo) He was a sweetie ^_^

Music: Perfect 10 for me! I love the two Korean songs 'Appointment' by Root One & 'Leaving' by ?, the Italian song 'Respiro' by Franco Simone, and the English Song 'One Life, One Soul' by Gotthard. There were also a few other English songs introduced once during a couple episodes and they were perfect for their scenes ^^ I also loved the non-singing songs (wish I could find them too)

I would most definitely re-watch this and recommend it to fans of Ahn Jae Wook or lovers of action, romance and comedy ^^ I watched it raw on MBC Classic channel on YT ^_^

Overall is a great drama that never gets boring. (I marathoned most of the drama in 1 day) and the ending is great too ^^

I just wanted to say something before I go ahead and write a review lol. I honestly did not begin to watch this out of interest or anything like I just kind of watched it bc I was waiting for episodes of another drama to come out. However, after watching a few episodes of this drama, the other drama is on hold lol. This drama is that good!

Cast & Acting: The cast was great in my opinion. Everyone had chemistry whether that be love or friendship or hatred, there was a lot of chemistry. The ML was great and I honestly did believe that he was sick lol. The FL was great too and I really enjoyed her character development as well as her emotional scenes. The 2nd ML and 2nd FL was what I lived for. I enjoyed their scenes A LOT and I genuinely wanted them to have a happy ending, especially after watching AOL and ATWIL, the 2nd ML lead kept dying in those series so I was praying he wouldn’t have to die in this series. I really like the bromance that Chang Ge had with ZY and the romance he had with JE, very realistic and sad lol.

Characters: Now I shall be talking about the characters themselves (separate from the actors and actresses). I think that this drama had very likable characters, even the bad people. The bad people are bad but not the type of annoying bad you know like they add the right amount of angst and problems to th Elliot which was very neat. Now the ML character, I genuinely adore his character. I’ve never seen any other character like him where he’s just really in it for FL. I also really like how reactive he was to knowing how she wanted to kill him. Yes he is very petty but I think that that’s what makes me like him so much. If it was any other ML, they would’ve been like yes you can kil me but instead he got angry which was a twist I did not see coming. I also liked how I couldn’t understand his character like when he poisoned FL or faked it whatever, that was shocking to me. I also enjoyed how he was kind of vicious and literally gave no mercy, it was refreshing to see how determined he was with his plan. For the FL character, I love her lol. I love how she’s so determined to save her shifu and how she doesn’t really take anyone’s shit. Her character development was clearly shown in the series as she went from being isolated to trusting others and building friendship as well as confessing her love to ML, I really liked how both leads were strong in their own way and became stronger together. As for 2nd leads, the 2nd ML character was good. I think the only thing I didn’t like about him is how he lacks confident in chasing 2nd FL or maybe that’s just me. I feel like he should’ve explained everything to her instead of waiting ya feels and he shouldn’t have made an empty promise but eh. 2nd FL character was enjoyable. She’s strong and she’s cute, esp in the earlier eps when she was waiting for 2nd ML in the rain. Chang Ge character was good too, at first I thought he would be annoying but I actually liked his character and his romance with JE was cute. I like how honest he is and how he knows right from wrong and doesn’t accept his clans wrongdoings. ZY character was okay, I didnt really lik shim or dislike him. I did think his scenes where he was battling with himself was getting repetitive and annoying but he ugh in the end so it’s okay.

Plot: I admit, I did fast forward some scenes, especially in the beginning because when politic got involved, it was just kind of boring, the beginning was slow and I was confused on why FL looks like a guy. However, as I kept watching, around ep 4-5, it’s getting more interesting and I enjoyed it throughly. I have to say that I enjoyed watching them getting the medicine than them helping the king but nonetheless, the plot was fast paced and never boring. Like when you kind of get tired of seeing a certain arc, it jumps to another which is refreshing. I enjoyed the love between the leads but I still think that if FL had to choose at the end of the series to save ML or her shifu, she would still save her shifu and not him. I love their love story but there’s just something about it that I feel isn’t the most “genuine” I guess. But I also really like that aspect because they’re not blindly in love, they have different priorities and tasks so it really is the definition of two individuals falling in love. The second leads love story was also the definition of two individuals falling in love and being logical as well as mature. 2nd FL didn’t jump right back into his arms after knowing and he didn’t force her. They needed time mad they took the time they needed to become better and it was really nice to see. The proposal was also really cute lol. Chang ge and JE love story was the most innocent and most cute but ended up tragic and sad. Honestly, I expected it but I didn’t expect her to go there and did what she did so when she did what she did, I cried a river of tears. The love story tied greatly into the plot and the scheme that the ML had was great and honestly I did not see a plot hole. Although the plot was already really good. I do think that ML should’ve died instead of. A happy ending because it just isn’t logical and honestly would’ve made a better impact if he died right then and there like in Princess Weiyoung.

Cinematography: The one thing that’s annoying in this drama is the cinematography bc after seeing so many wuxia dramas that are filmed brightly, this one just hits different. A lot of the scenes are dark and there are a lot of close up scenes. But after a while, you get use to it and you almost kind of prefer it to the regular pastel bright wuxia dramas.

Overall, I did not have high expectations but I was blown away. The angst and sadness and logic was intense and well done. There has been so many cute light hearted drama that it’s honetsky driving me crazy. This drama was a breath of fresh air and had the right amount of sadness as well as sweetness. It’s kind of bittersweet and because of that I highly recommend it. The eng sub is really slow but I do know that they’re subbing it on YouTube. The raw is also on YouTube if you want to watch raw. Thx!!!!
