In a conventional romance drama, this would be about the time in the story when the writers would contrive some reason to separate the two romantic leads. They would then gradually find their way back together. In a longer series, that might repeat, with increasing drama each time. In this series, which is not a conventional drama, the writers decided to separate the budding father-daughter relationship between Ren Xinzheng and Sun Tou Tou. For a pretty flimsy reason. But whatever. It was pretty emotional and interesting to see how each person deals with it. I really liked how LingLan Song called out her husband for holding on to his pride and pointing out how that had meant all the people around him kept having to swallow their own pride to do things for him. Overall, Ren Xinzheng is a wreck and handles the separation poorly. Meanwhile, Sun Tou Tou, being much emotionally tougher and having grown so much, handles it like the boss queen that she is.

The Untamed Special Edition Episode 1

It's a must-watch for MDZS fans cause it's focused on our boys! Gives me huge serotonin boost haha. What can be better than watching Lan Wangji being the most repressed lover boy in existence and his dumb (but cute) beloved being clueless af lol!

This episode was made great by both the growing trust and bond between Professor Ren and Sun Tou Tou and then especially by the cute drinking session they have together to cap off the episode. This episode is also notable because, finally -- FINALLY -- Run Tian Zhen does something positive for Sun Tou Tou. I guess he does feel guilty for the stupid stunt he pulled with getting her drunk and leaving her because in this episode he helps her get her 'punishment' assignment done. This is a huge step forward for his character and one that is way overdue.

It was a lovely beginning. I came expecting nothing, and left with so much expectations. They delivered so well. Save to say, I'm obsessed.

Bloodhounds Season 2 Episode 1

It's so nice to see the two brothers back again! Overall, very solid first episode that gives a great taste of what the season would look like, and the introduction of the new antagonists for this arc was ice cold. However, the mother was disappointing. You're telling me that throughout season 1, she's still as naive as she is now in season 2??? From letting the antagonists in her home to not letting her son know about the strange men who showed up at her shop, the whole kidnapping incident could've been prepared for. However, I am extremely glad they won the house invasion fight at the end!

We Are All Trying Here Episode 1

This is absolutely delightful! What a masterpiece! such a great story and acting, and filming. So creative. And nothing, absolutely nothing like the writeup. Based on the writeup, I thought this would be a gloomy melodrama, but heck no! There is humor, there is depression and loan sharks, and there is sunlight and fields of flowers and new experiences and love. Totally charming and delightful. A real art piece :)

Pobmek is sooo relatable...I don't know how it is in the other continents but being an Asian I can say that when I was growing up these things were pretty normalised like parents were the one who decide the career path for you. If you oppose you were declared as a rebel kid. Constant comparing for every small thing.

Wonderful Pilot episode. The word of mouth so far has not been great among certain section of fandom, as either they are jealous of the pairing or perhaps since the story is regarding the modern monarch, so maybe Korean netizens aren't able to digest the fiction. But for me it's all worth the hype.Great casting so far, even the actors in small guest roles leave remarkable impact. So far good performances, IU is the standout in this episode. But I see Queen Mother as a great performer too.Looking forward to next episode.

when your friend says they were drunk and slept with someone you should be concerned, not judgemental, even if you were wrong about thinking they meant it that wayalso jinjoo being the opposite of musically inclined but learning to play that song to annoy beomsoo is still so funny

mostly still great, funny, touching, but also... i really hate the "got drunk and slept with someone" trope though at least in this one they didn't actually sleep together
