They Met While Trying to Kill the Same Person

I just started watching Wonderland of Love and I have to say, the first episode really hooks you!! Right away, Li Ni gave off so much aura and charm. Cui Lin also came across as such a strong and stubborn person. Their first interaction was everything to me. The way they were both trying to kill Governor Han was so funny, especially when they saw each other underwater!!Then when they ended up fighting again outside, the chemistry was so good!! Li Ni was so cute. I also find it funny that their way of flirting is basically trying to outsmart each other. If you love couples that show affection by constantly trying to outsmart each other, you are going to love the next few episodes

10 on 10!

Easily the best episode so far. Loved it from start to finish but also damn excited for next week as I really want to see the remaining talent show. Speaking of Talent Show, it was so so good and the highlight of the episode. It seems the guests were handpicked by the PDs themselves after their interviews. And I am glad for that screening process, or else we would not have seen such gems.

Tomato - Potato!

I am loving the guests as well as our crew too. I just wish we got more screen time of the guests during "Tomato-Potato" . Nonetheless we got some fun stuff to watch as well as the struggles.

One Stars

i am happy the mains have moved up a level in their relationship & even though Zen loves playing like he isn't simping as hard for Ryo, as Ryo is simping for him. thankfully the act doesn't last long & he admits that he is as into Ryo as Ryo is into him. so that was cute, but must admit i was kinda over it & i felt like this should've been the end. but then we got introduced to Futami - idk who he is after or what is the point of introducing him 4 eps from the end. guess he's gonna be the hurdle the mains need to get over before the happy ending. oh well

Five Stars

I honestly did not expect Sammy’s Children’s Day to affect me this deeply, but this drama completely exceeded every expectation I had. From the first episode to the last, everything about it felt emotional, cinematic, and unforgettable. What makes this drama so special is that it is not just another romance story. It feels like an emotional journey set inside a dangerous and broken world. The 1980s Hong Kong atmosphere, the gang setting, the emotional tension, the loyalty, and the sacrifice all come together beautifully. Every episode carried emotional weight and felt meaningful. The chemistry between He Changxi and He Yanchao is honestly one of the strongest chemistries I have seen in a BL drama. Their acting felt incredibly natural, and many scenes did not even need dialogue because their expressions and body language already said everything. The emotional connection between them felt genuine, deep, and powerful. One of my favorite things was how naturally the relationship developed. Nothing felt rushed. You could slowly feel the trust growing between them through small moments — the silent protection, the worried looks, the jealousy, the vulnerability, and the quiet care they showed each other. Watching them slowly become each other’s safe place in such a cruel world made the emotional scenes hit even harder. He Changxi gave such a calm and emotionally layered performance. He made his character feel gentle, intelligent, and quietly strong at the same time. Every expression felt meaningful, even in silence, and you could feel the emotions underneath every scene. He Yanchao was incredible as well. He balanced danger and softness perfectly, making his character unforgettable. His protective nature, emotional vulnerability, and deep attachment to Chu San made many scenes genuinely heartbreaking because his emotions felt so real. The cinematography also deserves huge praise. The neon lights, rainy streets, dark alleyways, and vintage Hong Kong atmosphere created such an immersive world. Every frame felt carefully crafted and emotionally meaningful, making the drama feel far more cinematic than a typical series. What I loved most is how emotionally mature the story feels. The romance is not only about attraction — it is about trust, healing, survival, loyalty, and finding comfort in another person while living in darkness. That is what makes the relationship feel so much deeper and more memorable. The soundtrack, storytelling, pacing, and emotional atmosphere blended together perfectly. There were so many scenes that stayed in my mind long after I finished the episodes because the emotions felt so genuine. What truly made this drama unforgettable for me is how human the characters felt. Both characters carry loneliness, fear, pain, and emotional scars, but through each other they slowly begin to heal. Watching that journey felt beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.Sammy’s Children’s Day is emotional, intense, beautifully acted, visually stunning, and deeply memorable. The actors gave incredible performances, and their chemistry created something truly special. This is not just a drama you watch and forget. It is one of those stories that stays with you long after it ends. 10 / 10

i am glad Tiger confided in Nue, even though…

i am glad Tiger confided in Nue, even though Nue telling him protect us & urself - how?!? he can't even say no to his older brother, let alone his father but he will be able to protect... who? how?!? that's unconceivable & sorry but thoughtless on Nue's part, cause he doesn't live alone & as someone who cares & loves his mother & brother, logically he should've been wearier after finding out what Tiger's brother/family forced him to do. what if next time they force him to shoot Nure, his mother or brother? but i guess teens aint that smart? * but given his stepfather & what was left unsaid, he should be smarter IMO - but then i guess Tiger wouldn't be able to keep living under that roof & then no room for a romance, or the rest of this BL.***********& it's cute how Tiger realized his feeling by the end of this ep, but did we need some random chick sending Nue a text?? & her bf coming after him??? what point did that serve, other then adding another group of guys that is after them - given how things r progressing by the end idk if the mains r gonna survive the different group of thugs that r after them.********************************************************************************************************************************************************************get that the author is trying to redeem the older brother but i can't buy it, what he is doing isn't tough love - if he is gonna take out his father position, shouldn't he be able to stand-up to his father? & say that Tiger can live his life as he already got a heir that's gonna take his place at the head of the "company". & i get that the father's wants his sons strong cause rival gangs could target them. but then is his wife also going through the same training? or if they come after her it's cool? idk it just feels extra to me - but i don't like the brother so i aint buying what's being sold

Distancing himself

Yep, so he decided to distance himself. And Yinlou's reaction to that is pretty much as main heroines usually have. Only circumstantial extra now is that there's another woman involved in the mix. 😔😮‍💨I hope the cousin will choose to tell Yinlou about the poison for Xiao Duo, because Yuebai might actually agree to poison him... 🙏😬And I must add—I am quite proud of Yinlou for putting those pieces together and practically realising the truth. 👏 Now she only needs Xiao Duo to confirm it. 👆 I wonder what his real name is, actually? I think it's not Fang Jiang, as that was just his nickname... 🤔

Youth Drama Vibes that i've been waiting for a while

I got the hooked since the first episode, the introduction characters is flawless, Qing Ye who has to be a city girl coming to the Fisherman Settlemen area is very fresh, the cinematography is also fine, the development character between two lead is simply perfect in terms of timing or situationing. i would definitely waiting for the upcoming episodes with fully high expectation. Li Yunrui with white hair is giving, Guan Xiatong is also very cute. i love everything in this 5 episodes already.

i am truly mixed in my feelings

YAAYYYYY KITAYAMA EPISODE !!my problem with the episodes is that they’re not only cliché but like the clichés are bad with one+track morals. like this episode has been done before & i complained when other dramas have done it but my god the parent & the child are both acting this way because they love each other & don’t want the other to suffer. he does basically admit this at the end but i felt like we took too many meaningless steps. i am satisfied with the outcome though. because this was the first time the vice principal was more than an obnoxious caricature. kitayama’s character truly suffers the most in lack+lustre writing here. because i like fujigaya in this episode & i like a lot of the others.

WTF... not enough that ending - the preview…

WTF... not enough that ending - the preview isn't much better. so is it safe to assume the mains don't make it?!??? idk what to think, after what i saw in this ep. regarding the 2nd couple i wasn't that elated either. leave how Li Wan Zhe treated his bff (ok he doesn't remember him), & yet to wish a human just disappear & he had the balls to tell He Xiang Yong, he was being selfish - like r u kidding me??!? but even before the fight, i didn't like his approach to getting bind drunk & bedding Hamaguchi, what in the hopes it would change his mind & he would stay?!? btw i don't buy Hamaguchi being the bottom, unless they switched then it would make sense. but Li Wan Zhe is a selfish ass, so not shocked. ***************************************************************maybe cause of that i wasn't that into the NC scene, even though i still think Hamaguchi is freakin hot & when he kisses i melt lol.

Traps and wit

Yinlou shone in this episode! Her jealousy did them a great favour by getting rid of the spy-maids. 👏🤗However, that has created a soil for Prince Yuwen Liangshi to doubt the nature of Consort Dowager Duan and Xiao Duo's relationship. I can only suppose that starting from this moment it's only a matter of time until the Prince or his people get some evidence and prove their existing feelings for each other. 😬But I loved how clever both of our leads are! They quickly noticed all the necessary hints to realise that it was a trap for Xiao Duo! 👏However, now I wonder what that decisive look on Xiao Duo's face in the ending scene meant. Has he decided on a counterattack? Or maybe just to distance himself from Yinlou, so no one will find out that she's his weakness, and thus also protecting her from any possible future harm? 🤔🤨

I was giggling the whole time

I think I was giggling during the whole episode. I loved every bit of it! How Xiao Duo just tries to fulfil every single one of Yinlou's wishes. The night together was peak tension... 😏🤭🤗 I wonder what will change with Xiao Duo when he doesn't drink his pills. I guess they are necessary to hide that he's not an eunuch. 🤔And they have a dog now—Eunuch Ba! 🤗

Last episode though?

"any place without Wooju, is a desert" that was low-key cute to me. Also the fact that Raon got so mad when he found out what that guy did to Wooju's parents. Also the Fact Wooju was willing to get stabbed just so Raon would be ok. at least it ended on a good note. Yet I am still disappointed.

When Raon started singing it made me remember…

When Raon started singing it made me remember why I loved Jeff in the first place. Dude I listen to his songs here and then and this scene got me tearful for no reason. It didn't feel Like it was Raon it felt Like it Jeff. Just Jeff singing. gave me deja vu from 2022 in kinnporsche. Oh my god bro I am tearing up. the scene where the guy (can't remember his name) gave Hachi the necklace broke me. I don't know why but it just did. The kiss scene was cute the ears lol. I love how Raon was shocked when Wooju kissed him. I also love how they kissed for more than 5 seconds. I love how it was such a soft kiss instead of rough like other bl's do it.
