had a feeling after all that build-up we would get an open ending & yet having had a feeling it's still freakin annoying not getting a chance to see who "won". also found it kinda absurd & ironic that the reason Choi kicked Se Ok out & destroyed her life / shattered her dreams, was cause she caught on that he was planning on killing Kim Myeong Jin when he operated on him. kinda anticlimactic realizing that, that was the whole reason he clipped her wings; he wanted her to fly but not to high & not to get away from him. from the start it was clear that both student & mentor were nuts. but this a new level of crazy lol - am just glad nothing happened to Yeong Ju.**************************************************************************************************this was a wild ride & great acting but when u really think about it, there wasn't much of a plot & given the ending it was like a balloon deflating. it was fun for a one off unless there is a 2nd season & then i might rewatch cause this wasn't boring.

The sweetness of our lead couple... They are so adorable! 🤗 Qiang Qing Ci and his golden pig, eating strawberries.... awww 🥰 And then leaving Zheng all confused about what to do when Sheng stays over, lol 😂Xiao Xing and Zheng are both equally adorable too. I just can't stop enjoying them blushing and giggling around each other. They're so cute! 🤭This episode finally said the Chinese title out loud... For me as a non-Chinese speaker, it was a great catch to notice that! 😏👍

I started watching before I new it was an 81 episodes drama. I though I was watching a 2+hour drama until it ended with a cliff hanger. I was happy it continued, but sad it's so loonngg. It's definitely worth watching and the cast did a great job I was sad when the emperor died

The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop Episode 37

I really don't understand why Dong Jin's mother is against the idea of Yeon Sil dating and potentially marrying her son Dong Jin. She has known Yeon Sil for years of how a great person she is. The moment she finds out Yeon Sil is dating her son her opinion on Yeon Sil is flipped out of character. The couple already had another obstacle to overcome to be together which is the plot about Yeon Sil's almost to be husband who is in prison but about to be bailed out. The mother against the main couple plot is not needed. Plus there is still the annoying ex wife who is trying to cause problems with her ex husbands new love but poses no threat. They seem to be going back and forward with the character development of Yeon Sil. Before she became close with Dong Jin, she's weak, a pushover, sad, and scared around her almost to be husband and his mother plus the gang members. When she got together with Dong Jin, he helped her feel more confident and courageous to those people. Now she's gone backwards again by feeling threatened of the convict thus leaving Dong Jin to fight this on her own. I'm just trying to get through these episodes quickly so I can get through these predictable annoying plots that shouldn't drag out any longer.

Oh, poor Segye... Seori is such a test for his confidence! 🤭 But I love how it all plays out and creates that little bit of chaos around them. I could watch those two all the time. 🤗😏😉And I quite enjoy watching Seori and Gwangnam too. They give off the vibe of a sibling relationship. I think he will be a great manager for her. 👍But that chick with the coffee, and later with the car bump, felt sus right away. And of course, she had to be someone Segye's grandfather is trying to pair him up with... 🤦♀️Anyway, this show is amazing! I impatiently wait for the weekend all the time just to catch up. This brightens my day enormously! 🤗

Falling into Your Smile Episode 18

Okay, so, a lot of this episode goes as expected. Tong Yao gets suspended for a match and so Lu Yue substitutes in at the mid-lan chair. And while he makes a lot of mistakes that make things difficult for his teammates, the ZGDX team still pulls out the win. Yao is sad. Especially because Si Cheng ignores her, seemingly angry with her. Then finally, in the closing minutes of the episode Cheng and Yao have a talk by themselves about the issue. And this is where, well, the writing kinda stunk it up again. Cheng gets in Yao's face, demanding answers to vague questions and mostly filling the air with the monologue that goes all over the place. He clearly contradicts his own points multiple times during all this. From the very beginning he starts by enumerating how his reputation is harmed and then insists he only cares about her -- but if so, why are you listing how you have been harmed? There are numerous other inconsistencies all over his monologue. It feels like a bad high school debate speech. I mean, the gimmick of demanding she respond to his incredibly vague question with an important and meaningful answer within 7 minutes is just completely arbitrary BS. There is absolutely no 'team leadership' reason for such a gimmick. It's just a stupid contrivance for show purposes. It's all delivered with the expected, 'harsh team captain' tone by Cheng so I can't blame the character or the actor. The writer just had him saying really dumb things. And one of the things really struck me. At one point late in the dialog, he asks her aggressively, "You clearly were only protecting your teammates, so why were you treated like this?" And of course the real answer - the elephant in the room - does not get mentioned. The REAL reason she is being "treated like this" is because of HIS FAMILY. It's painfully obvious that she was targeted on purpose by his mother because she was mad at Si Cheng for rejecting Su Luo. And it's probable that Si Cheng knows this. So while it is true that, yes, Tong Yao should - as a celebrity e-sports star - not have pushed that girl away. But the deeper, hard cold truth is also that the real blame for what happened belongs to Lu Si Cheng's family issues. And I think he knows it. And so behind all the stupid bluster of his (badly written) speech, he almost certainly feels guilty for having put her into this position.

Well, it was inevitable that the "chaebol/toxic family trope" was going to come into effect, given all the hints about Lu Si Cheng's family. And it arrives now with what was obviously a trap set for Tong Yao to walk right into. Pretty clear that Mommy Lu is mad that Cheng rejected Su Luo and she wants to push Tong Yao out of the way.

Hometown Romance Episode 8

We’ll be honest — there were moments during Hometown Romance where we were not entirely convinced this series would pull off the ending it needed. But EP8? It finally found the balance.Funny, heartfelt, chaotic in the best way, and packed with the kind of #LMSY chemistry that reminds us why they remain one of Thai GL’s OG pairings. And yes, we absolutely need to discuss the farm-at-the-mansion chaos because Si bringing animals home, the family quietly plotting life lessons, and that buffalo cleanup scene? We were crying laughing.More importantly, the finale finally figured out what the season had been chasing: comedy that actually serves the story.Did it erase every bump from the season? No.Did it make the ride worth finishing? Honestly…yeah.💬 Read our full Hometown Romance EP8 review and tell us: Did the finale win you over? https://bit.ly/4urUZlJ

That made me laugh so hard! I love that scene. They aired it out, honest talk, not the typical "walk away" scenes that i have seen in cdramas.

I have been watching this every week, but now its the end. The ending was underwhelming, is this what I spent so many hours waiting for?? From the beginning Hui-Ju wanted to become a noble, now there is none of that?? And now the King is just some random good looking guy???? In my ideal world Wan and Hui-Ju would have ruled over Korea together, they could loosen the rules a bit. I know Hui-Ju always wanted a trophy husband, but this is not it. Yun I-Rang stole the show, Hui-Ju and Wan are just lovers now. Hui-Ju looked really pretty in her council meeting outfit. What happened to our villain???

a good ep - the honeymoon period was cut short cause of Phop's father's additional wives. ironic how even though they r guilty of (idk what) but they got away with "murder" by diverting the attention to Phop & Klao's forbidden romance. & given how i thought Phop's parents would react it was mild in comparison for the mother & the father. given that time period & their statue their reaction was measured & volatile. they didn't fly off the handle - it shoed that they loved their child even if they couldn't accept the person he had fallen in love with. *******************************************************************************but on that note i was kinda surprised how accepting the servant's where Phop & Klao's relationship, again given the time period it wouldn't be shocking if their POV wasn't any different then their masters. but still it was sweet & fun seeing them all "fan girling". **************************************************************************************************************************i have a feeling the one behind the opium trade is Harn's father Wanna's Uncle - as is i suspected that Harn was the rat the informed Cherd about the fact that the drugs weren't burned but stored. but this just a guess so idk if it's the father & son involved or just the father or it's someone else. time will tell - but was right in suspecting Pim, just was worn in that she wasn't the master mind behind Cherd, she was just lying & that's was she seemed suspect. 3 more eps to go, hope we don't get all the answers in the last ep & it's a rush job

Su Muyu with his new attitude is like a pain in their necks now—strong-willed, with his own vision, uncooperative, and a tough nut to crack. 👏🤭I wonder what that water official will do if he wants to break free from his status and become just another member of the Su family. I guess many of those bound ones, in truth, just want control over their own choices and actions, rather than spending their lifetime carrying out someone else's orders. 🤔Another episode without Rabbit and Tortoise. 😞

That last scene killed me. It was both so funny and so cringe, which again, reminds me of older romcoms. I like that this show knows its theme and will stick to it. I was worried they'd go overboard with Segye chasing after Seori even after her repeated rejections, so I liked that instead he retreated from her because of his hurt pride because that makes more sense in terms of his character. Consort Kang's stubborn personality also finally gets some kickback at the set, which is far more interesting to see for her character. We also get a little bit more with Mun-do. You have to sympathize with a guy who's doing everything he can to take over a position only to find out that his uncle will always give it to the guy who doesn't even want it. But at the same time Mun-do is clearly also deranged, so....

ima be the odd one out as Yan Zhi's annoying the f*ck out of me, Yin Qi keeps telling him to stop, not to trust any deal with the Crown prince, what does this moron do?!? 1st chance he gets, he is scheming behind Yin Qi's back & running to the Crown Prince. i have said this time & time again, the Crown Prince isn't reliable in the least & Yan Zhi who has grown up in that palace, knows 1st hand how evil the Crown Prince can be. yet he trusts him to keep his word??? why??? why is his word worth more then the word of the person he supposedly loves?? he is treating Yin Qi as if he is stupid ******************************************side note: i feel like most viewer's got a hard-on for the Crown Prince cause he's a "freak in the sheets" i am over him & his psychotic ass behavior & BDSM was never my cup of tea- he's not attractive or cute in the least IMO. but i enjoyed him slapping Zi Ming, as he is a character i detest even more then i do the CP
