the narrative starts with our heroine making a fale accusations against a guy who was asleep on the bus. they make her really unlikeable and they really clearly rehabilitate her perceived image until the episode is alsmost over. we find out it was the 6th thing she tried but got dam if they didn't take their sweet time before clued us in all i could think about is she about to ruin his life. she still made a false accusatioin but she feels 95% less despicable now.Regardless of what stop she got off the bus. the bus ran into a gas truck why are the idiot police harassing this girl? only thing she did is make a false accusation which if she survives and remembers she would take back. why not investiage why the bus driver ran into the gas tuck getting everyone killed. our female lead wasn't even on the bus when this happenned.

OMG, the plot twist! 🤯 So, Ling BuYi is actually Huo Wusheng, General Huo's youngest son, and has been investigating all those years to avenge his father's death. I wonder how it happened that he took Zisheng's place... 🤨🥺But ShaoShang is very clever. She's already connecting the dots and I think has already come to a conclusion, or very soon will. I wonder when she will reveal to BuYi that she knows about his true identity. 🤔This is getting way better than I imagined, and I am already 5-starring almost every episode — there's nowhere higher to go! 🤩⭐

The script for this show is just so weird. Both lead characters - especially Shi Yan - just continue to behave in bizarre ways. And every 5 minutes the plot seems to want to introduce yet another stupid misunderstanding for at least one character. It's getting exhausting. Real humans do not act anywhere close to the way these characters do.

this ep's flow was way better, maybe cause there was more of Li Pou, even though i didn't get how an average teen turn's into someone that dabbles in the dark arts. what we saw at the start, the pointless killing of his friends & then him defending himself - how that make him into who he was. if there was an explanation i missed it. but interesting ep all the same - finally & am looking forward to the finale - whether the good win or not it wont be boring - or so i hope.

This episode touched me so much. It's raining in this episode and it's also raining outside at where I live now. Vermicelli Salad is one of my favorite food, which I just happened to have it for dinner today. The story is about two female best friends of more than 25 years since their elementary school years. I also have a best friend of over 20 years since school years. We don't live in the same city now, but I just visited her just 2 weeks ago. OMG there are just so many coincidences here.

took me ages to finish this ep, just was zoning out - still wondering why Pete was the one to go in... yeah yeah they bound together etc.. yet if he didn't succeed he would be lost too. so i donno how much i enjoyed this. but given Niran is a main there wasn't a millisecond where i worried that maybe he wouldn't come back - like plz. the main plus until the end i didn't have to suffer Fei's face - yes i am actively hating on this useless, pointless, annoying character - *****************************************side note: even though this isn't short given how everything feel dragged out - or maybe cause i aint hooked each ep is taking ages to finish & i am bummed cause i thought i could binge watch this in one sitting ugh... *****************************************additional side note: ironically or not Kirst is the best character in this, he is really enjoying his part & is giving it his all. not to mention when he's on screen at least i aint bored or uninterested.

i haven’t gotten to talk about the side couple yet & i really do enjoy them ,especially right now. i will say one thing i like about chinese dramas is that this is barely half+wat over but we have progressed so much. i get nervous whenever mulan plots have the hidden gender revealed so soon so i was alwaus nervous watching cui jin bai but i think they have handled it pretty well. this couple also compliments the main one incredibly well ,we have two—cat & mouse—games being played simultaneously & it’s fun to watch. AS FUN AS SHEN XI HE’s FAMILY ,MY GOD EVERYPONY IN THAT BLOOD+LINE IS HILARIOUS . . . i really enjoy her father he’s funny !I’ve also been craving seeing her sister & other family we met the wei manor they’ve basically dissappeared which is a shame because i really enjoyed them.

Quite funny how A'Song scoffed at Third Brother's divinations, saying he said he would marry before NiaoNiao, and then suddenly QiQi sneaks into the prison and they just get married... Yeah, A'Song, engagement is not marriage yet! 😉😂 Everyone should listen to Third Brother's divinations more... He's like the prophet there, knowing what is about to happen and when. And he hasn't been wrong so far! 🤭I really appreciate how this crisis is bringing all the Cheng family members closer. The understanding Grandmother found with ShaoShang's mother, how they accepted A'Song getting married into the Wan family, and more... I really hope they will be able to maintain this bond even after the crisis ends... I have a lot of faith that everything will be ok with the Chengs. 🥹🕊️As for the Lou family... I get that there were circumstances that led to the situation they are in now, but still, I don't think any of them really can defend what Lou Ben chose to do. He really did go astray in his pursuit for status, wanting to be at the top right away, not earning it step by step. And then his comment about easy gain and easy loss? Was it the irony he saw in his actions and a philosophy he had for some time, or was it a sudden realization of the situation he was in? 🤨🤔But in the end, the ones who will lose the most will be his mother, brother, and wife — people who were the closest to him and loved him the most. I believe by choosing suicide he tried to save them from any punishment for his actions, but he has left a lot of sorrow behind, and the way his wife looked at ShaoShang at the end somehow made me feel uneasy. 😟🫣Also, did ShaoShang take the map or leave it there on the table? Such a treasure shouldn't be left behind if that's a gift, because someone could take it and hide it. But thanks to Lou Ben's riddled hints, she's onto where her father could be... I really hope he's ok and alive! 🙏

Su Su and her adoptive father farewell but another tragedy happens that makes Su Su more determine to choose the path she must walk. Qingyi is broken again.Glad I have one epi per day at that point cuz it's too much emo to digest. The plot is more and more intense and the past secrets are revealed one by one. Very emo episode esp the whipped scene.Heartbroken for both Qingyi and Su Su. Linghe and Churan top notch delivery 😭😭😭😭

A lot of childhood memories were unlocked while I was watching this episode. My family used to live for a while in my grandparents' house because my father wanted to, which is similar to Oshin's situation. If my mother hadn't kept insisting on moving out, I guess we would have to live there for a longer time. Oshin's mother-in-law was very much like my grandmother on my father's side. She always goes easy on her daughters and spoils her sons while treating her in-laws pretty badly. Until now, I still can't get along well with my grandmother, uncles and aunts from my father's side because I can't forget the way they treated my mother. Sometimes I wonder if I am bad for doing that. I don't feel comfortable around them every time I visit them. No wonder my mother always says her life is very much like Oshin's. It made me so sad right now.

He betrayed his brother with his desire for the throne. I don’t think Qian would have objected to him ruling…these brothers strike me like the Rong brothers…one wants to rule and one wants to be a soldier. His betrayal came in killing the midwives and lying to the gma. He really underestimated the depth of her hate. He was honest enough to put Qian’s son where he belonged but he wanted a taste of the glory first. Had he been truthful, there was a good chance the gma would go along with him ruling or at the least a mentor. This left her with blind eyes to her own flesh and blood. She reacts violently to the news she caused the death of her grandson and runs off yelling Huayong’s name. What she doesn’t do? Say a word to Xihe or great grandchild. She got off rather easily for all the treasonous acts she led. The emperor’s children were forced to pay the price for his misdeed. He finally admitted it, but so what? Would that undo any of the damage he caused? The only thing he may have prevented was dear old gma moving heaven and earth for another try at Xihe and unborn child. His edict did at least get them on the throne but it cost him most of his family and all of his health to get his clutches off of it. Xihe is now in charge of things…literally. I am glad Lie gets to go to the outskirts as he always wanted to do, but damn, Ms Rong should not be given clemency for her treasonous heart. I can only hope she has been given the job of bathroom cleaner for the temple or something equitable to that far away from the palace. I kinda hope and not we get told what happened to her other than keeping her hateful ass alive. 😝 Xihe visits the memorials of herself and ex. Here she continues to do good like Huayong. Changqing was allowed to be kept in the family tree and buried with his ancestors. He was mostly a thorn to her, but in the end she respected him for who he was rather than judge him for what he did. Shulin and Cui return and get positions they merit with Shulin getting to stay a girl….the perfect model of uprightness and virtue. 🤣😂 it was nice seeing them back together in sisterly support …the only difference is now they are dressed better. 🤣 Shulin is officially made staff officer as her choice so she can’t be confined inside. Her martial arts skills will be used as she has always wished. It then segues to a four year time lapse. We see a four year old prince being introduced to the mentors Huayong chose for him. I would have liked to have seen her reading him the stories handpicked by daddy as well. Wish granted next scene. He finds a note his father left and asked questions. She has a pleasant dream of what their lives would have been like with daddy and mini him finding ways to get out of schoolbooks.🤣😂 The child playing the part gets through the dialogue given. What makes him quite good is his mischievous looks that he carries off quite well. Here he shows great potential.👏🏻😁 the signal to young guard via handkerchief. He is so joyful flying to the palace. Xihe is admiring the red maple leaves and remembering their last talk together. They have a sweet hug under the maple trees with little said except he came back to share the view with her. There is a special episode or this would not have gone over as well with the montage of replays. What is seriously missing is other than an overview of the mountains when doc left, there was not any news of their work to get HuaYong healed…at all. A lot less of Consort Rong and just a few minutes of their trials to find the cure would have made such a difference in the overall storytelling. The special lets us see the toll it took on the doctor and some sweet father/son interactions, ending with a nice scene of a family outing. But when Changqing got loads of redemption time, why nothing about the faithful doctor that spent half his life trying to find the cure? And why no interaction with the Bu/Cui twins and crown prince? No school shenanigans shown. The cast did so well making us love or hate them. 👏🏻🌹 There are some serious story gaps with HuaYong and entirely too long of a warm up period to finally be a couple. But even with these flaws these characters are sticking with me. It is worth the pain of the heart thaw and when the Rongs are too much ffwd works wonders. 🤣😂 Kudos to the young actor that played HuaYong’s man…I hope to see more of him in future projects. 👏🏻This is well worth the watch for the most part.

Youre telling me Fan Yue reighn has been less than 10 years, ur lying how did he even get there only in 10 years and ended up becoming one of the most powerful demon lord out of the whole demon realm, which commonly aged between 1000 years and more. They dont even try to make the fantasy believeable anymore, and i bet Qi feng is actually gonna be someone VERY important later in the store 🖐️ gng whatever

The aunt really ought to retire at this point, with these pointless sacrifices and shes just making worse choices as times goes on also this damned tree should have been burned down ages ago. But hey on the bright side Bai Shuo might find her long lost sister again💁🏻, not that I care cuz Fu Ling are as irredeemable as any other demon HONESTLY 🙄

How cool was that opening scene with Bu Shulin holding her army’s token as herself.🌹👏🏻 Ms Wenxi loses with the (w)Rong token and now mummy Rong is outdone with her posturing for ultimate authority in putting her son the throne. Watching the Shen and Lanhai armies move in for their ladies is quite a sight. Prince Lie has come to face his brother and his vows tear at your heart. 💔He was going to kill himself but was stopped and jailed. Here Changqing lowers his mask a bit. I completely despise his character’s actions. But I do have to say this actor is a master performer of gray characters. Tho hated, he will be the most memorable for balancing good and evil with audience never completely clear which side he was on til he chose to tell. There is a final showdown and we are shown how the troops were signalled and made aware of their need. Changqing recognized her willingness to fight to the death and after a brief show of who’s really in charge he got a private audience with Xihe. Here he reveals his plan so that there would be no further obstacles in her way. He even called out his own obsession and knew it would shackle her. He stabbed himself to end it all and won the answer he wanted to know. It was very fitting for his memorial to be shown with his wife’s picture behind it. Ugh the bastard made me mourn him and wish him a better life than what he was given. 😭He truly deserves tears and was far more honorable than given credit for. But he also knew his sacrifice and reputation had to be tarnished beyond repair for Xihe to have the influence needed to rule the world. He wanted her more powerful than simply the Empress Dowager. And dammit he succeeded. 😭 It was fitting that he died with the rain bringing full circle to the rain when they met. He did learn to live truly and made the sacrifice for her that he did not with his wife. He made himself honorable in both women’s eyes and I didn’t expect that from him. Qingzhi and Xihe acknowledged him in this moment. He could finally be free of his obsession with Xihe and his regret with Qingzhi. 🌹The Grand Empress Dowager is very like Consort Rong with her hate so evident. Finally understanding about the defending of the city. But his actions after explains the obsessiveness of his sins. He did not poison Huayong, but he stole his birthright and lied to the gma and all this mess was a direct result. I guess he didn’t want Empress Dowager and grandson to rule and made sure he was the one in power. That bit of selfishness ruined them all. He swapped his brother’s pledge to take his place and this the gma did have clarity on. She just never got close enough to the grandson to recognize the true father. Xihe had a lot to process as well. She now understands the importance of Junshu’s name and worthiness to ascend the throne. In spite of the evil intent from both Emperor and Gma, I believe HuaYong’s resourcefulness and talents reflected well the gifts his true father gave him. I think Qian is most pleased with his son and his choice of wife. His brother and mother…not so much😝

ShaoShang keeps breaking my heart! Her desperation to find her father is so immense. That scene where she ran to the dead bodies of General Cheng's army, checking one after another, just to see if one of them was her father... 😭💔I am so grateful she has BuYi in her life, and his support in this situation is enormous. He doesn't complain about anything, he just quietly helps her with anything and everything and keeps her protected. 🥹He is part of the Cheng family and she is part of the Huo family — I loved them both saying those things to each other, especially as it was comforting for both to acknowledge that they are not the last ones of their families, they don't have to fight those fights alone, and they have the endless and unconditional support of each other. 🥹❤️🩹Everything that's happening in Tongniu County, with those convenient accidents and deaths of officials and witnesses, just hints at Lou Ben being the one behind it all (though it remains to be seen if he is working alone or collaborating with someone). 🧐And I absolutely loved how General Wan dealt with Minister Zuo! If he really goes to get ShaoShang to bring her back to the capital, I really want to see how he will NOT manage to take her away from BuYi! 🫣🤭
