Perfect ending!

I'm going to miss this series so much! I love how it all came together for ThapIn's happy ending. I'm not sure how I feel about Thap forgiving Karn tho, the man tried to kill him so many times. Honestly, that's the one thing I don't like about BL's that the main villain never really pays. As for the rest it was perfect! I cheered, laughed, cried and found it so hard to say goodbye. What am I going to do without MMP every Sunday? anyways that last scene was so JimmySea it's both cute and hilarious.

Beautiful episode all around.

They are so in love, and their first time was magical. The music, the setting, In singing it just worked so well to make that scene one of my favorites.

ThapIn's first kiss was everything

the whole scene gave me butterflies it was so beautiful. It felt so real. JS's chemistry was up the Wazoo in that scene. I really felt like I was intruding in their intimacy. Thap is falling helplessly in love and I feel that in my bones. He sure made sure Inthu knew it too.

Such and emotional episode!

JimmySea are such good actors and man do they prove it over and over again. This episode made me cry and I never thought that would happen again after Last Twilight.

What I hate about these shows or the scripts is that they already were suspecting Consort Kang yet no one stood watch while he first maid was in jail???? Also, if she rewrites the King history doesn’t she rewrite all of Korean history??

there is a part of me that is glad that Seok Cheol found out & yet i am worried, cause Tae Hun is spiraling, as is the rat told him a half-truth; that Seok Cheol took on the job/order to kill him. so that added to the fact that (in his delusional mind) Seok Cheol is coming between him & Mi Yeong - cause if he wasn't in the picture then surely Mi Yeong would welcome him with open arms.dude crazy - how he thinks his approach & behavior would do anything but make most women want to turn the other way is beyond me. ***************************************************************************************************************************i get that Mi Yeong just wants for him to stop, so she is being very direct in her approach with him, but he has selective hearing, anything she says is an insult where he thinks, pushing harder will make her change her attitude & mind, miraculously wanting him back. so getting rid of Seok Cheol will be more then justified, in-spite of their past close relationship. ***********************the older sister & anything to do with her gets me so annoyed & ironically no matter how much each family member berates her, after her pity party they all enable her to keep laying around doing sh*t all ****************************************************regarding the younger sister - have to say i kind get where she is coming from not only in regards to her fiancé but her older sister. the Doc is in the wrong.

overall actually GOOD

Sort of disclaimer (?): I’ve seen all the hate being thrown to this series and, honestly, I don’t really get it. I kind of consider myself a BL veteran as I’ve been watching bls for basically a decade now (my roots lie in anime and evolved through different kinds and countries, eventually discovering Thailand with Sotus). What I think is really important to consider when you’re watching a bl is the company behind it. When you say that real good/masterpiece series are Kinnporsche or ITTSAY you’re right BUT, you’re talking about companies that care about “quality”. Most of the companies in the bl industry work for quality, not quantity. GMMTV is not one of these. GMM works for quantity, not quality. They own their own TV channel, so they constantly need new content. That means they usually work on a project for about three months, then move on to the next one. They make big money, sure, but that money gets split into much smaller budgets across many series.Having knowledge of each company’s kind of “philosophy” and rulebook you know what you’re gonna get yourself into with a serie. You can’t compare Revamp with Khemjira (just an example as it’s my current obsession and has officially become my fav serie) as they come from different companies that have different ways of working. You can compare Revamp to My Golden Blood.Revamp is a serie that has been on the works for a long time and is one of the very few first attempts at supernatural. Considering GMM’s usual budgeting and their ever-present dramatic elements, Revamp is actually a good series. It started off a bit cringey but evolved and developed, and I feel like saying it’s actually good. There surely is an evolution in the way vampire mythology is treated and the supernatural elements are portrayed compared to My Golden Blood. All of my considerations are framed within the GMMTV universe and way of working. That being said, THIS EPISODE LEFT ME SPEECHLESS…. NATACHAI MY BRO WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE????Things I appreciated of this episode (and generally speaking of the series):- There is barely any unnecessary drama between the main couple. I appreciate this more mature take on relationship-development. It’s pretty embryonal as in different moments it can appear as more chaotic and fast-evolving but I see the evolution gmmtv is going through. Bonus points for the detail of white hair on the keychain plushie that matches Ramil’s (surely the series merch). - The whole ‘secret estranged half-brother’ storyline really surprised me. I was expecting there to be something like that ever since the first episode, as one of the details I first noticed was the erased name in the family book. I didn’t expect for it to come out now, I even sort of put it to the side thinking that it wouldn’t happen. Since it hadn’t been hinted at after that first book frame, I got to think it was Methas who caused the tragedy at the orphanage. I thought he might have had a rough time whilst his beloved vampiric Master was in the painting and ended up losing control. That, to me, justified his rigid, rule-obsessed nature.
So about Dracul, at first I thought his appearance was too sudden and thrown out too late but after thinking about it, it actually makes sense. Dracul represents videogame’s final boss. He’s the last level to play, the final battle. It’s the missing piece that connects all the dots and will be the key piece to ending most of the storylines/plot-lines open. This is what you call a well-made plot twist. I was surprised it’s actually Dunk, as I never heard anything regarding him being casted but I might have been living under a shell during the time Revamp was in the works.Taking into consideration everything I said at the start of this very long review, one thing I didn’t appreciate today and haven’t really understood throughout the serie is the lack of consistency in the whole vampiric mythology/rules. Today I asked myself how is it possible for Ramil to be born a vampire if they -by nature- are basically dead? Their biology shouldn’t make them able to reproduce. The rules of this specific vampiric universe have not been stated clearly. I understand the whole supernatural universes are a new central-theme for gmmtv as they have used the elements before but not as main plot-lines, but still these are details that the viewer should be provided with first thing. There’s always room for improvement though, so thumbs up!Finally, here’s what I’m “calling” (as me and my bestie say, meaning what I think will happen):- Dracul either kills or hurts Jett in the final battle. I think Jett will turn against him once realized the truth and they will mostly all fight against Dracul. Why is he (my) first designated to die? He doesn’t have room for a redemption arc. It wouldn’t really makes sense for him to fight the final boss, say sorry and go home promising to be good and forget the past. Death fits his character more.- For as much as I wish Ciar ends up with Mekhin, he dies in the final battle. Mostly for the same reason as Jett. He doesn’t have any room for ‘redemption’. After a whole century living the way he did, he has his family back and he cares about them but he is alone. He doesn’t have any special bond and is actually a minor!enemy like character. He might be redemption himself upon death by saving Mekhin (I’m still sailing yes.), Ramil or even Punn, or completely oppositely he might die while trying to kill Pokpong (don’t ask me why but I had a feel about this). - I’m 99% sure we’re gonna get a happy ending for the main couple but I always leave the benefit of doubt. That 1% is mostly related to the fact that I don’t have any clues on how the whole ‘immortality VS mortality’ thing will be handled.

Again the food elements are what elevate this show. I loved too how the cooks just wanted to be judged fairly based on the food and not that idiot envoy lowballing. The King’s younger brother was adorable too bad that stupid harlot poisoned him!!

Seok Gyeong is really annoying me, i get her sister & brother told her not to leave that house, but that's cause they knew she would go gamble money that she didn't have. but she is a freakin adult & other the giving herself a pity party she has yet to do a thing that will change her life let alone all the other peoples that she has destroyed. cause of her stupidity & selfishness her family's r gonna lose the roof above their heads. her brother can't get out of the thug life cause he is stuck cause of that same debt, she is mooching of her younger sister & the saddest part is her hurting her child, making him lie - giving him false hope only to then disappear on him & he can't even find solace in confiding his pain cause he has to keep her a secret - so yeah i have come to really detest her & i don't get the cop (who is a sweetheart) mooning after someone like her. given her track-record she will just destroy his life too. *****************************************************************************************************i get why Jang Gi Hong lied to Seok Hui but it was a stupid move, not only the fact she found out - but what was the point of going on a date with a woman u r not planning to date?!? given her over bearing mother he really think after one date she will give up? not ask her daughter how it went & if there will be a 2nd date?!? so stupid move - pointless too, as this will come back to bite him in the behind. & he also managed to piss off his gf - genius move - not. ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Tae Hun has gone off the bend - what is he thinking?!? i keep thinking he is so fixated on Mi Yeong cause she reminds him of his dead sister (even though i don't see anything that they have in common) but maybe in his mad-mind he sees a resemblance. but threatening her is crazy. also idk why i have a feeling the recording company that contacted her is his doing. have a bad feelings

fake

Another layer that makes this romance unbelievable is who the female lead is. She isn’t some struggling woman who might realistically compromise or seek security—she’s a software backend maintainer, with solid earnings, career growth, and long-term potential. On top of that, she’s slim, attractive, has a pleasant personality, polite behavior, caring nature, and financial stability. In short, she is the total package: beauty, brains, money, and manners. So the question becomes: why would a woman like her fall head-over-heels for a man with autism who is portrayed as plain, average, and not particularly romantic or expressive? It feels so forced that it turns the drama into an over-the-top fantasy. The relationship doesn’t read as “sweet healing love,” but rather a wish-fulfillment daydream—the kind where introverted or socially awkward men imagine that a perfect woman will appear and love them unconditionally, without them needing to offer anything equal in return. And then comes the most baffling part: our “great” male lead actually tells the man who arranged their blind date to reject her. Imagine that—a woman this beautiful, successful, polite, caring, financially independent, and genuinely serious about marriage and family, is ready to commit to him despite his autism. She’s even thinking about a future together, including children, knowing the risks his condition might bring.Yet instead of valuing this once-in-a-lifetime chance, he rejects her because he thinks he can somehow have a casual relationship with her without commitment. Really? In what universe does a man like this turn away a woman like her?To make things even more ridiculous, after being rejected by the male lead, the female lead goes to the man who arranged their blind date and begs him to somehow arrange another meeting with the same guy. This is after the male lead has clearly said he doesn’t like her and won’t be with her.She actually pleads, saying that eventually he will fall for her. Why? Because some doctor vaguely suggested she should be with him? There’s no practical reason, no emotional backstory, no hidden connection that explains her persistence. The drama just expects us to accept that a woman of her level—beauty, career, money, dignity—would throw it all aside to chase a man who openly rejects her, hoping he’ll magically change his mind.At this point, it stops being a sweet love story and turns into nonsense wish-fulfillment, where the perfect woman doesn’t just appear for an average autistic man—she humiliates herself, begs, and insists on being with him no matter what. It’s not healing; it’s insulting to both women (who are portrayed as desperate) and men (who are told to expect fantasy instead of reality).

The most valid crashout

Might be a little funny to say this but if I was Khem I'd be like "Yeah girl I get it. You have a VERY good reason to be doing what you're doing" That past was something else :( In a whole, a very good episode! It was very interesting and the way the past and present were phased was pleasant to follow. The ending was a little predictable but it doesn't mean the series won't be good till the end!Eagerly waiting for next week!
