This was a pretty good ep and it was nice to see Si Eun trying to enjoy himself. I am so pissed that guy followed him to the hospital! Looks like the leader of the Union has that analytical ability like Si Eun.

Mr. Alpha has been kinda a prick at times, pushing boundaries, establishing a power hierarchy, and generally pressuring this guy for… a relationship? Or at least sex. It's unclear. So I feel annoyed by him taking advantage of how down on his luck this Mr. Omega is. But then I know that Omega is actually not so meek and sad as he's pretending to be. Yes, based on the show synopsis I know he's this secret type. And based on context clues he's probably also the mysterious illegitimate son/ head of big company. So that means he's not even poor. I wonder if his sister in the hospital is even real. So he's playing the role that he knows that asshole Alphas love to take advantage of to lure this guy in. So… am I meant to feel bad for Mr. Alpha? I don't. He still straight up paid someone desperate's hospital bill then told them to pay it off by sleeping with him. That's blackmail. Attempted blackmail, since Omega didn't go with it, but still a fucked up thing to do. So I guess now I'm just curious as to Omega's motives. Is he another rich prick just getting his kicks? I don't think so. Too much hassle. He's gotta have a past with shitty rich Alpha's what with being an illegitimate son of a CEO. And he immediately took over the company and changed the name. Maybe this is some sort of revenge/power play over Alphas? Maybe he's looking to get his hands on S-tier Alpha genes to mix with his super special genes for a super ultra special kid? I'm in it for the mystery. And MAYBE once things get revealed they'll have an actual romance.

The plot fell apart in the last chapter. It's hard to understand what kind of being the teacher was, why she did what she did, why she had followers as a religious sect. After an excellent series, the finale was disastrous.

The Journey of Legend Episode 18

The gripping fights initiated in episode 17 must come to an end. And this end is not what Xiao Qiushui wanted. Emotionally rock-bottom after being wracked by all the losses he has had to witness and shoulder, Xiao Mingming realises the difficulty and responsibility of being Xiao Qiushui. No modern device or experience can prepare him for this episode 18.Qiushui has become completely fixated on Liu Suifeng in that kind of intense wuxia way (totally platonic) as someone who is your true rival and complete enemy. It's quite riveting to see, and sad to witness. Liu Suifeng has poisoned him with unrelenting drive of zero mercy. The animosity and other emotions fuelling their duelling makes the excellent choreography even more unforgettable. Cheng Yi is completely in his element throughout this episode. Embodying determination, rage, sorrow, despair, despondency, our hero does not have a single positive moment here. Your heartstrings will survive the melody of anguish triggered by his heartfelt understanding. Your neutrality won't survive until the end of this episode, if you have to choose between Liu Suifeng and Xiao Qiushui. The scenes to move the plot along have been well-integrated here. Everyone in this episode is not an extra, but essential to the impact of this crucial episode in Xiao Mingming's journey of transformation. The candle of hope may burn low now, but it will blaze again in a new episode.

Bow Down to the Performance of a Generation: THIS. THIS is the Park Min Young we stan for. This episode wasn't just a heist; it was a showcase for her staggering emotional range. The cathartic victory, the subtle flicker of fear when her past is mentioned, the heartbreaking glimpse of her vulnerability in the final flashback—she didn't just act it, she lived it. She can convey a universe of feeling without saying a word. She is the show's heart, its brain, and its dazzling, unforgettable soul. We are not worthy of such a perfect, iconic performance.

In PMY We Trust, Even When The Script Wobbles: Okay, the flashbacks are a bit clunky, but does it matter? Not when Park Min Young is on screen. As "Olivia," she serves a masterclass in seduction and control, proving she can own any archetype she chooses. She somehow makes expositional dialogue sound like poetry and makes sitting in a car watching a monitor look like the most compelling drama in the world. Even when the narrative structure falters, our Queen remains flawless, holding our attention with the sheer force of her talent. We are merely blessed to witness it.

Praising Our Queen's Range: If you thought Park Min Young could only be charming, this episode is your wake-up call. We see the layers she's weaving into Yi-rang. That hyper, bubbly facade? A calculated weapon, deployed with surgical precision by an actress at the absolute top of her game. But watch her eyes in the quiet moments, PMY lets us see the cunning, the calculation, and the first glimpses of a hidden pain. She’s not just carrying the show on her back; she's building an entire universe around her character with a performance so captivating it should be studied.
