Lu and Su have split up to find more clues about Sass. They both agree that the man that was killed was not him. They are not among the few that know about the wooden bird. They have a good drawing of the woman they are looking for thanks to XiJun. The officials are not helping. Lu is seen as the new kid on the block and not deserving of assist since they were collecting info for twelve years. They won’t work with Su either because we still don’t know who exactly was behind Di’s death at beginning of drama. It is coming full circle and they do have the makings of a net for Sass…so against all odds progress is being made. Su would have been better in Resentment Tower, he is much better on his feet. Lu studied well and is even complimented on it, but it was fiction not fact with some of the details. She laughs and tosses the book on the table. His three friends are not having the good time they expected.🤣🫣 They are asked to go again and settle for an escort each for the upcoming magic show. They return but not happy with the options. The young beggar is hired to deliver treats to the lady in question. She graciously lets the child in and appreciates the treats of cherry dumplings. The second time he brought roast camel, but a bird of prey intercepts him. He wakes up a lot later with his money and purchase still with him, so he heads for the hall and gifts her a second time. This time she asks him if he wants a drink with her and he says no and quickly runs away. Yingtao accompanies Su’s to the author’s home and she is far from impressed. She sees an indulged old man surrounding himself with wine and women. Su brought up their mutual acquaintance investigator Di. The author is cordial, but offers no further information about Sass. We do know Sass is monitoring his lover. It also seems the administrator is correct with his assessment of when he will come get his girl. They have two more episodes to wrap all this up.

well didn't expect Mek to be totally f*cked in the head, like WTF was he thinking - also just shouting ur friend released a vid that destroyed me, isn't helping me understand what was in that clip - as am sure their fans didn't know that Mek was dating Rak, so what was in that vid. also don't get Rak allowing into his room in the 1st place - especially when his last encounter with his ex, was his ex basically threatening that if he couldn't have him no one could. **************************************************& really hate when i see bottom's in BL's just passively sit around getting manhandled & assaulted - they can't lift a finger?!? like they forget they r men? even a woman wouldn't just sit there & take it, she would kick & scream, anything but passively get assaulted...ugh! ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************i felt sorry for Rak's friend only in the looney bin, even when he was cutting himself in front of Rak's dorm i wasn't really moved, cause i thought was it was a manipulative tactic. but in the mad-house u could see that he is broken, idk what broke him & make he was always unstable... idk but it was sad, as he is pretty young & he basically gonna sped the rest of his life locked out & on very strong psychiatric medication, which messes with ur brain even more - so he will never really lead a normal life.

No, No, NO, Phi should not be kissing him like that! Tam has yet to open his mouth, you should NOT being sleeping with him!!! Yes it's obvious they both still care for each other, and Tam has been trying to seduce Phi, WAY more in this episode, but come on, Tam not talking and giving Phi answers about the past is just to much. Also... I like that how we get the flashbacks on their past relationship, I also like how they do it, it's not in some weird place like some series/movies do, it fits the moment at that time. It's nice to see they had problems even when they were together, makes it more real. It's nice when they make it out like their relationship wasn't just sunshine and rainbows like most do. Realistic is good to do in ser/movies to. Though still not knowing why Tam left Phi like that sucks, I'm just hoping they give us the answer very soon, especially since it looks like Phi is forgiving Tam. 😮‍💨 I would that easier, but that's just me.

am kinda shook, that no one recognized Mean from Love by Chance, dude said he wouldn't be in any more BL's & he isn't, as this just a cameo, but still it's freakin MEAN!!! lol***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************anyway back to the main plot - am proud of Rak for confronting the cheater's - he was way more mature then i would've been. but found it kinda hilarious that his bf was blaming his bff & his bff was just happy they broke-up & astounded that Rak didn't wanna still be his friend. i don't get either of them. *********************************************************************************Rak is too much of a pushover, even though he cut ties with both & isn't giving in to their persistence - like what do they want to be his bf & bff & keep f*cking each other - why??? i don't get this... but not just this, sadly Rak should've have told Dino that he broke-up with his bf, anyone with half a brain would know that an assertive & aggressive dude like Dino wouldn't sit ideally by waiting for Rak to call him when he is ready. & Dino is overly aggressive in his approach, he is also very domineering & someone like Rak wont stand a chance in a relationship with him. so idk if i am happy by how this is playing out -but Dino for sure the best candidate to deal with people like Rak's ex. still don't get the yakuzaz speaking Chinese, but it is what it is considering how short this was. at least we "got" why Chen Xi was so depressed, as his lover died (or took his own life, cause he couldn't suffer anymore) either way - Hao Yu came into his life gave Chen X a reason to live. which was sweet. but as they both still indebt idk what "happily ever after" awaits them. *****this was good & of course could use some fleshing out - plot wise, let along more eps so we can enjoy this couple. it feels unfinished & as their romance is just budding, i wanna see more... here in a flash it was over & am left wanting - so yeah a rewatch. the main minus being it's too short

Double date

Fenghua follows the directions of the princess and meets with Sass. What he doesn’t know is that the princess met with Lu on sky overlook floor and told Lu to monitor him. She said not to go easy on him just because Fenghua is her servant. The guards intercept Fenghua and Sass at a meeting and a fight breaks out resulting in the death of both of them. Lu is unconvinced this is Sass but the crown prince puts out a statement that Sass is dead and Lu was the court official that brought him to justice. Lu is upset with the proclamation and goes to official demanding to know why issued when there was no positive proof Sass was the deceased. His boss thinks Lu is a position climber since both royals appointed him. He has no confidence in Lu’s work or why he is there. In a second meeting with Lu the Princess thanks him for killing Fenghua. She even admits that he was a good officer and loyal subject. However, his grudge against crown prince and his determination to enact revenge was his downfall. The princess was tired of his machinations to cause problems between the royals. She then reveals to Lu that she is his mother and that her son would understand and forgive past wrongs. I am not sure how Lu is processing the information. She did not directly call him son, but gave very non subtle clues of his past that would strongly imply what their relationship is. I wonder what Su would think of this revelation? XiJun has completed the drawing of Sass based on the boys memories. It show Sass looking at sky terrified and back of ministry of justice flying at him through the air to complete a killing blow. They still do not know about the wooden bird. This is a Tang version of drone. The prince wants the magic show to take place without public disturbance. He thinks Sass is likely to show up since the majority thinks he is dead. Our two couples find themselves at dumpling place for cherry dumplings. They meet up and head back to Lu’s officer quarters. He can have Su and “wife” hide there as they all read the banned book. They are hoping there is enough information for XiJun to be able to draw Sass’ lover. It was cute watching the women eat dumplings while the men poured over the books. Di’s last case was about Sass and he died under mysterious circumstances. For this reason, Su is much more determined than usual to solve the case. At the end of the episode Lu is pretty convinced he knows the name of who they are looking for.
