That whole thing with the new mean fair was harsh. Real harsh. It also shows us that poor Chang Heng is a prisoner and that Orchid is in real danger if it's ever revealed that Chang Heng cares for her. YIkes! Boy, the writer is definitely trying to show us why Chang Heng can't be with Orchid. Though . . . I can't root for him any more!!! Taking away Orchid's memories of 500 years ago!! WTF! I hate it when the male leads make huge discussions and violations for the FL all to protect them. Taking away their free will. Just be honest with her. Let her know that if she's open about her affections your bro will kill her. He-he. I also think Dongfang Qing Cang shook himself. Giving her air after she pulls him off into the water to avoid the search. So dramatic! Orchid was so shocked, but poor Dongfang Qing Cang didn't know that he was cursing himself with his little kisses of life. Poor boy.Wow. Orchid. I think she's starting to realize that she does have something for Dongfang Qing. She already pulled him off to safety cause she thinks Chang Heng will win in a fight. Then upon realizing he's Moon Tribe, but not his full identity, she wants to send him away. hmmmmmm. She even admits that she will miss him and the whole sweet taste thing is brought up. She now loves his company.The sad thing is that while Dongfang Qing is definitely cracking. His root or emotional tree, that's the tree we've been seeing!, is coming back to life and there's a bit of greenery budding. All his sweet words and comfort doesn't feel real though. Because of the curse he wouldn't feel his way. Random thought. But isn't it heart breaking that both Dongfang Qing and Chang Heng are hurt and imprisoned by those who should love them?

An enjoyable emotional rollercoaster [no spoilers]

So far, this is one of the best episodes! When watching this episode, I was taken on an emotional rollercoaster. There were high points with particularly cute and funny scenes to sadder scenes were you see some of the characters hardships. Not only do we see the development of the main characters as they start to open up to each other, but also spend some time with the side characters, learning more about them and also seeing small areas of their development already.The final scene was AMAZING! The suspense built up along with the reveal? I screamed! Left on a perfect cliffhanger which had you asking more questions that you never thought you would have at the start of the episode.Really, this drama deserves so much more attention and praise because it truly is amazing from the acting to the directing.

get why everyone is elated with the ending/conclusion, it was cute and all, BUT(!!!) personally - this was far from a perfect finale. as i mentioned before, the character's here r hard to hate cause even though they r frustrating at times, u see/get how complex each is (like in life) and that the reasoning behind their actions n reactions r never black n white. that is one of the mains things i Love about this BL/drama - But (back to the BUT) Minato is a seriously frustrating character(!!!) that i can't keep rationalizing/understanding - not at this late stage.... ***********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************there comes a time where some growth and development is needed, Shin for the 100th time not only acted mature, but made a decision in consideration of Minato - again(!) and yeah great that Minato took those 6 months to learn how to cook for Shin (cause idk about anyone else, but it was grating on my last nerve, how Shin always kept cooking for this child) so yeah great - but finally, when he had the chance to be/act the adult and say his peace (confess), he still chicken's-out?!? like freakin come-on.and i for sure didn't like/enjoy the fact that Shin decides to say in that hometown to baby Minato - cause i'm sure the better option would be in a bigger city like Tokyo. so his staying back for love is meeh - *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************for me this isn't perfect cause Minato from start to finish was throwing a pity-party for himself (which while understandable at the start, is infuriating at the end) he was the Queen of this BL and i get he the uke here, but come-on. so yeah this was great in some aspects, but in others, this a weird/bad message to anyone of how love should be... but am the odd one out, bummer that this got a cliché ending

Okay, I had kind of put aside that Rong Hao's master was the Former God of War. I was right though! The boy is a creeper. Putting the face of his master on those poor girls! Apparently angering and killing them so regularly the guards where all like "Another dead maid, drag the body away!" Yikes! So this episode was awesome because the big reveal of Rong Hao's identity! Not to mention who's body he's been stashing!! Wowza! Let me complain about Rong Hao's flute playing. The actor wasn't even trying! Or maybe they decided it looked better fake! I don't know! But it was kind of distracting!Onward! This was a huge character driven episode. Everyone now knows about Zhang Ling HeChang Heng's feelings for Orchid, well except her of course! I like how Fairy Dan Yin thanks Orchid. Even with her jealousy. It's revealed that Dongfang Qing Cang's father may have killed his emotions root. Interesting. I mean it's been disturbing. I was thinking maybe they were going to go the mental health way with him or something. The emotional root dead is unique. There's also another fairy out to get Orchid and the firefly thing is an interesting setup. Rong Hao's evil henchwoman was one? Orchid fed and invited that one back into the stone. Then that other fairy who left everyone to die and hates Orchid turned a rock into one? I'm puzzled, but intrigued where that will go. The last episode was brilliant at showing us how worthy and amazing Orchid is. I think this one was even better and Chang Heng clearly had the right idea while praising her. I'm curious as to what Orchid's real identity is. Is she a shard of the Former God of War, or the new reincarnated version? What exactly? Not to mention what is Rong Hao going to do to her now in the name of his master?

5.0/10 - Finally . . . the drama might be going somewhere!~

My issue is that I am invested in these characters. I feel that there is so much to them, but I'm still stuck waiting for this drama to leave it's standard writing and stereotypes behind. It did tickle me that Fairy Dan Yin looked into that not and say that Orchid and Chang Heng get married. In both realms. I feel like that tree was all "you try and take me out with your tantrum I'll show you something!" Despite everything I do feel like this episode might be a turning point. Orchid showed all those terrible women that she is beyond better than them. She's smart and clever, and stepped up to save all their bacon. A truly amazing person. It was also interesting seeing Chang Heng's true feeling for Orchid. Poor sap is not hiding it well. There's also . . . something suspicious about Chang Heng's drinking partner, Rong Hao. He wants to know what Chang Heng is really feeling and he's picking up on things . . . in a lethal way. I don't know how to say it. I don't think he's just a friend, I think the man is shady. Bravo to this epsidoe for making Orchid such a real and amazing lead. Also, for making poor Dongfang Qing Cang and Shang Que just go crazing trying to help and keep her safe during that whole test!!!! Ha-ha!!!

Soap-operish but fun

This episode is a hilarious start to the series. Annie, the main character, was fleshed out well, and I warmed up to her despite her flaws as a person. I am curious to trace her character development in the subsequent episodes. Cris's acting is too much at times, though, as is Pookie's. I understand that this was done for comedic effect, but I wish that the production team had asked both actresses to tone their performances down. Furthermore, they should have cast other girls as Annie and Tina's younger versions because Cris looks too young to be her older self, while Pookie looks too old to be her younger self.Drake deserves special praise. Although he had only a minute of screentime in this episode, he stood out to me. I feel like he will shine in this role more than in any of his previous ones. The way in which he delivered his line "But Mom, this is my life" had no business being this funny.
