Phayu looks loke a dream and actd like a nightmare…

Phayu looks loke a dream and actd like a nightmare all at the same tike in a really confusing and amazing mix... The opening scene of this episode gave me Stendhal syndrome ffs! Boss with is hair down looks really good! And he is also so caring but he can get kinda "scary" too, especially when Rain acts like an idiot and run away... I know for experience that if your mother calls you better listen to her, but you could have at least say something?! I love these two together and before Phayu's confession when Rain was this ?? close to cry, I was this ?? close to punch Phayu in the face! You damn sadist... Talking about sadists, Phayu and Sky are clearly a dangerous combination! They seriously scare me!I'm so impatient to also see Prapai and Sky's story! Feom what I've seen we are getting there! They all are an insult to the singles' people! I'm as offended as Saifa!

Just Beautiful

I loved how Khan could finally accept his feelings towards Thua, the whole scene was just perfect and very realistic.I love how Akk and Aye are finally coming to terms with their own feelings as well and start building the trust the need in each other. I really liked the episode, hope it can go above and beyond from now on.

Adding secondary love interest is unnecessary…

Adding secondary love interest is unnecessary here. It just put into the story some klishe scenes. .

Love it!

Their chemistry is enough to carry the series. I love everything about their interactions. Rain being unable to resist Phayu’s charms and Phayu acting like a giant cat and playing with his prey. ? I’m enjoying the progress.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~That's the only thing…

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~That's the only thing I've been able to say after the episode... I've so many thoughts about what I watched! Phayu and Rain relationship is so so so amazing! The "pining" in this episode was a little sadistic, I can feel them enjoying our frustration! I once again want to scream WHERE WAS MY P'PHAYU WHEN I NEEDED THEM THE MOST?!I would have already had two degrees at this point if I had a P'Phayu...In this episode they even used one of my favorite love languages ever, POST-ITs! ?We get to see more of Saifa too! Still undecided about what to feel about him, sometimes it seems like he want to help the two get together and some other times it doesn't really looks like he cares, I don't understand him! Who's instead a good wingman for this couple in my opinion, is P'Aon! Thank you, dude! Also kudos to Sky for being the bestest BFF ever! He truly supports and helps Rain through everything, I want to hug him! ?

Getting better with each episode.

The plot moves at good pacing. There is some foreshadowing and it makes sense. I could make a good guess what to expect and yet be pleasantly surprised.

A nice surprise!

It started weirdly (a lot of fantasy) but then as the plot moves, you realise it very Ren Di Jie model.

I KNEW IT! I knew Phayu was already completely smitten from the start, just like Rain was. Even though Rain had no idea of his own feelings and still has difficulties to admit them!If the first two episodes weren't really my cup of tea, this third episode is 100% my thing!Where was my P'Phayu when I needed them the most?! They would have saved me so much pain in life probably. Also, Sky is such an amazing friend! Always ready to help Rain, but he is also a little shit about it sometimes. But he is always there for him when he is in need. I'm curious about what he has going on with Phayu's friend, because there's obviously something there, hopefully we'll get to see that soon!I have to understand if I like Phayu's brother or not... We'll see...

7.0/10 - A super fun start!

What are the chances that Cha Eun Woo would be in another drama about beauty? Though I fee like he our his team have a very strategic type of drama they pick for him. I picked True Beauty randomly because I thought it might give me My ID Is Gangnam Beauty vibes. Shhhhh. Don't tell anyone it took me a while to realize my beloved Cha Cha Eun was in this! Ha-ha!!! This was a very solid first episode. Starting right out of the gate introducing viewers to Lim Joo Gyung and how the world started ragging on her looks from baby strolling on. It's heart breaking to see how openly people call her ugly. Strangers seeing her as a baby and saying she's a boy. Then older playing a game with grandpa and they whole family just starts ragging on her. I just can't imagine your loved ones doing that and your parents just kind of snickering about it. The cruelty about her looks continues into high school. And can I say as someone who has suffered severe cystic acne I was offended that it's such a big deal. I never had judgements about it cause sadly acne happens. Though if there's truth to the obsession of skin and pores like I see in the dramas I watch . . . I guess I can see that. It's a cultural thing. What I love is seeing Joo Gyung's journey. Seeing what she bonded with to cope. The comics and horror things. Her taste in music. Even though she's bullied and runs errands for the mean girls she still has a sense of self. Despite it all she has confidence and stregth. Enough strength to ask a boy out! Go girl! Seeing the mean girl bait the guy Joo Gyung likes is heart breaking. Soon they're humiliating her as she's dumped recording it and adding injury to hurt. Not to mention this jerk of a girl takes away the guy she likes, but has the one person Joo Gyung thought was her friend join in the bullying. Because that's some seriously messed up psychological warfare. (I fear for this mean girl! What a on earth is going on in that head?) Things turn dark. Joo Gyung is ready to end it. She thinks things through and decides not to. Enter Cha Eun Woo's character, Lee Su Ho, who sees her still on the ledge and saves her. Things go to a more lighted hearted bits in a truly talented fashion. With a hilarious piggy back stair scene. Despite what just happens Joo Gyung's kindness and empathy are powerful as she realizes the guy who saved her, a mystery to her yet as she can't see, must have known someone who committed suicide. She perceives this and even tries to comfort him. Then the hilarity of realizing she left a suicide voicemail for her mother. Then things align Joo Guyng's dad messes up financially and they have to move back to their old house and a school transfer is an option! Woot! Joo Guyng's chance to start over comes and she's going to use the power of makeup to get her there. (And let's be real we all know she's really beautiful. Acne and glasses do not make a girl ugly!) I love seeing her journey with makeup! It was hilarious and reminds me of my struggles with it to this day! I also loved all the tie ins of Joo Guyng touching on Lee Su Ho's life! I love it when a drama shows how even though they don't know it the FL and ML are part of each other's lives. It was fun seeing her family's reaction about the makeup after Joo Guyng has mastered it. Not to mention I wonder if they'll keep her secret and how hard they will be on her for doing it. Or if they even realized the type of abuse she got for being "ugly". Another super appealing aspect of True Beauty is the family it feels so real. Especially Joon Guyng and her brother. Who decides to blackmail her with photos of her real face. The makeup discovering is going to be an interesting thing. Like the makeup is waterproof, but it rubs off on Lee Su Ho's school jacket just like that? It's so uplifting seeing Joo Guyng be immediately accepted and her shock of it. Making friends and actually getting to go out with them and have fun. Forget getting a guy. Just having gal pals!!!!!! I am shocked that Joo Guyng wasn't too nervous about going out without makeup on. Because of course she bumps into Su Ho immediately . Cha Eun Woo playing a different character a cold aloof person with made fighting skills. Very impressive. I love that they're fighting over a comic and end up just like on the roof. It's tickling my brain to wonder what Su Ho is gonna think seeing the girl that he thought he was saving from suicide in front of him. Er. On top of him. I will say the episode ran exactly how I thought the plot would go to kick off the story. The writing and acting made a very obvious plot and story fun. Refreshing. Joyous. This is a deep message, but it doesn't feel preachy. I'm curious as to how the writer will handle it from her. I love all the unique touches and how they will give this story depth. (Oh, and can I say how much I felt Joo Guyng's joy being in that comic bookstore!!!)

I both loved and hated this episode. I know…

I both loved and hated this episode. I know that it's really a ME problem and a lot of people love those moments instead, but I can't stand overly cringy moments! Not only in this series (although this episode was quite challenging under this aspect) just in general, but as I said that's a me problem. As it also is, the fact that I didn't enjoy the repetition of the entire scene from the episode one, I would have cut it a little shorter, considering we already saw it.Now that I've talked about the ME problem that made me enjoy this episode a little less, I want to talk about what I actually liked! For example, Payu and Rain chemistry and their bdsm coded(?!) relationship. I'm not an expert about this kind of things, but lutawolf's comment of this episode on tumblr was enlightening (https://at.tumblr.com/lutawolf/693616773579358208/laguc2nqhtfv)I also really love Rain and Sky friendship! Sky might act sometimes a little bit like a shit, but it's clear that he loves Rain and tries to protect him from himself! He is like 80% of his impulse control! I'm sure that without him Rain would be already dead.He went really near this episode though...I'm also curious about Sky's ex and also whatever Payu has going on in his life!I'm too curious now... I need to know!Once again I loved the fact that in the end of the episode we get to see some particular momen of the episode from Payu's point of view! I hope they'll keep it in the future episodes too!
