I began watching this movie because of Okada Masaki, an actor whom caught my attention by being brilliant in most of his roles (He has a minor role in this movie but still managed to get an acting nominee for best supporting role). What made me keep watching was the thrilling story, something I did not expect (I didn't even read the synopsis before I began watching), the dark feeling and the overall fantastic actors. One would not think that 37 middle school students can create such an atmosphere. The woman who played the main character, Takako Matsu, was amazing in her role. But, let me quote "let's not forget the amazing ensemble cast of young Japanese actors who ultimately steal the show from Matsu's cold as ice teacher with their riveting performances as existential youth gone wrong".

This masterpiece was completed by their use of Radiohead's Last Flowers.

All I can say is: "Watch and be amazed" because this will mess with you.

This movie, for some reason, reminded me of E.T mixed with time travel, except with a much MUCH darker story. The story wasn't the best, but at the same time it did keep me interested. The cast did well. The music was alright, and served its purpose. As for rewatch value, it's probably not one of the types of movies i would rewatch, unless it's been a good 2-3 years since i last watched it and thus forgot everything that happened. Overall though, this is a solid movie which is even better if you're a fan of Takeshi Kaneshiro. It's perfect for a lazy Saturday.

I don't think I have ever written as much about a show as I have about Secret Garden.

I even managed to regain my composure after the initial excitement, let some time pass and cool down, in order to look at it with a less passionate, more objective stance. The result is, SG remains my all time favourite, a drama I have watched and rewatched and will watch again until the characters and the script will be integral part of my life - perhaps they already are.

The plot speaks fot itself. There is fun, romance, magic, tragic, twists and literary references. It flows without interruptions, making you laugh like crazy and cry like a baby, at times flooding you like high tide, but it never leaves one dry or unsatisfied: questions are answered, references fulfilled, all spiced up with a little magic.

The script is unique and brilliant. The funny lines are hilarious, the serious ones thought-provoking. Nothing about this script is either predictable or shallow, making the characters come to life and become realistic in a fantasy world.

Which inevitably leads me to the acting, which is outstanding. The main leads have to play the part of themeselves, then that of the other, then that of the other playing the part of themselves. Lesser actors would have screwed up, but Ha Ji Won and Hyun Bin both do a fantastic job, providing laughters in heaps and tears in the same amount. And their love story is just as beautiful as their chemistry on screen is sizzling.

The secondary characters are not mere supporters. They are all interesting, complex personalities who adds to the plot and the dynamic wonderfully.

The music is addicting, even for a K-pop ignorant as myself. Songs and lyrics are never chosen randomly but highlight and define the scenes they soundtrack.

I can't ask more of a drama. In fact, I doubt I'll find something to fully compensate for the end of this wonderful show.

If you lived in the U.S and are old enough like me, then you probably remember the Brady Bunch. This drama reminds me of that though it's not a sitcom. Anyhow the story is pretty good. The Cast is superb. The Music is alright. It's rewatch value in my opinion, is a 7. Overall, it's definitely a good drama to watch. So watch it *_*

The story was very unique. The Acting and the cast were amazing as well. The music was ok, as for rewatch value, it has none. I don't know why anyone would want to rewatch this movie. Overall though, this movie was a 10 since I felt like it was....very unique! The main point of this movie is pretty much, do you give up and admit that you commited the crime/ pay a small fine for a crime you didn't commit, or do you continue to say you are innocent and potentially have a worst punishment. Overall a great, great movie.

At first I'll say: this is my first review and I'm not good at writing these...

I've watched this movie two times and I loved it on both times. It's my favorite movie. Well one of my favorite movies. Anyway first time watching this movie I laughed my ass off all the time starting from the first seconds. Same with second time.

This is a typical Japanese movie with a silly story and not-so-good-but-not-bad-either acting, but isn't that the reason why we love Japanese movies/dramas? For me it is.

The chemistry between two main actresses is good. Not the best but it's good. I love the cast. Fukada Kyoko is an amazing actress but her acting wasn't the best in this movie...

Okay I'm making no sense anymore...

But,
Watch the movie and see if you'll like it or not.

I first watched the trailer of this movie, which made me really excited to watch it. Add to that, that it stars Jay Chou, who I really liked(as an actor) after watching the Green Hornet. Unfortunately, the movie didn't live up to my unreasonable hype. The story was alright, though it felt like they were trying to cram in too many things into it...including time travel. The acting was better. The music was relatively mediocre. As for rewatch value, im not a person who rewatches most things, but for this i'd say don't rewatch it. Overall, i'd give this a 6. I guess it's alright for a Saturday night where you have nothing better to do or if you're a fan of Jay Chou.

1% of Anything is a typical Korean family drama. It's a drama that explores Korean family interactions with a lot of laughter and love.

PROS:

The plot was simple enough maybe even a bit predictable, but the interactions between Jae In (Kang Dong Wan) and Dada (Kim Jung Hwa) were pretty fun to watch. Jae In was really well portrayed by Kim Dong Wan and he was pretty funny to watch, as his character really stood out in terms of personality. Grandpa was another plus to the drama, in terms of acting.

CONS:

Dada seemed to have a limited range of facial expressions, which slightly annoyed me.

Towards the end of the drama, there was more focus on the side characters, instead of the main couple, which made for some predictable and dull watching.

The OST for this drama was not very memorable at all.

Overall, 1% of Anything is a decent Korean family drama with laughs and love.

The aptest adjective to describe this drama, in my opinion, is "surprising".

The plot is a surprise because it never goes in the direction one expected it to. Don't be fooled by an apparently superficial beginning: nothing in Stand Up!! is what it seems.

The cast is a surprise, because despite the very young age of the main leads, the acting is brilliant and gives the viewer a glimpse to the type of actors those young people would become.

The script is a surprise, as it deals with ordinary occurrences, teens fixations and the relationship between teens and adults in a sweet, mostly hilarious way.

You'll find yourself laughing out loud, giggling and, at times, remembering with a smile.

After I watched this movie, I fell into love with it. I told all my friends about it and forced them to watch it. It's storyline is interesting with tons of twists. I can't complain about the cast, and the music was good enough. The best part of this movie was definitely the storyline though. As for rewatch value, for movies that are mainly about twists, once you watch it once, you probably wont want to watch it again. Overall, it's definitely a good movie for a lazy Saturday night.

JIN has many genres wrapped in a single package. The show has its viewers exploring the history of the Edo period. It also manages to keep the viewers anticipated with its combination of suspense and mystery. All with a hint of romance. However, its primary focus is medicine at the end of the day. The cast is a truly remarkable bunch giving his or her character a realistic feature which enables viewers to connect with the characters. We get a glimpse into each character's stories, struggles, and ongoing hardships. The show's plot is a rather simple one, but its simplicity adds to the show's depth. It explores various themes including the meaning of life, how much we are willing to sacrifice for others, and most important, the limits we have. The plot is immersing as the viewer accompanies Jin in the past and watch as he assist those in need of medical attention. However, with such a great plot, the show has a letdown at the end, but thank goodness that TBS is having JIN 2! I'm crossing my fingers that this time the screenwriter will be able to answer all the question Jin and the audience has! I recommend this show to those who enjoy any of the genres that JIN explores and if you are a fan of the actors! It's definitely worth the watch!

I watched this in a car on a long trip on my laptop, where my headset kept on disconnecting frustrating me to no end!

That being said, I still enjoyed this movie tremendously. Story wise it was amazing. Acting wise it was amazing. The music served its purpose well. Rewatchability...It's not a movie i would rewatch unless it was to enjoy the incredibly choreography in the fight scenes. Overall, it's definitely a movie Wuxia/historical Martial Arts fans should watch.

One of the most amazing and wonderful korean dramas that i have ever watched. Its sweet, cute, brilliantly written with hardly any flaws.

The acting is superb, music is exceptional and it provides everything you are looking in a romantic comedy. There is nothing that i would like to be improved. Its just perfect

This drama alone has turned alot of people, who previously used to look down on me for being an ardent K-drama fan, into K-drama fanatics themselves, after watching this on my insistent recommendation. I myself have watched the drama 3 times and each time i have enjoyed more than before.

Highly recommended!!!

When I was a kid I loved the disney version. Someone told me later that the ending of the real story was sugar coated and didn't end well like in the cartoon. I hated that idea. So I hesitated a long time with watching this movie. I also dont like war/historical movies. But yesterday I just watched it anyway - and I LOVED IT. I cried like a baby, but loved every bit of it. ^_^

The acting is great. First I thought that the main character is way too pretty to be accepted as a man. But she nailed it. Also the main male character did a good job. Both work great together, the character came to life and you could feel how they progressed, came closer, to a very sad, but perfect ending.

( I hope this isnt a spoiler, but I believe everybody is

familiar with the basic storyline of Mulan.)

The storyline is told in a way, that you accept the ending without a doubt in your mind. Beautiful. Which is actually a first for me. At least with sad movies (I hated Titanic)

Well, like I said, this movie is sad, not very comical, but beautiful.

If you're up to it you should def. watch it!

This drama is great. Go and watch it.

That's pretty much all you need to know

(But that would be a lame ass review ^.^)

I read about this drama and how fast it won on popularity.

And I just wondered how could a 30 episode-story about bread-making be interesting?

But I started it anyway. Even though the first couple episodes are set in the past

and were meant for information build-up,

I think those were needed to give depth to the following episodes.

This drama made me laugh. cry. angry, then laugh again and most of all: It kept me interested. Love and intrigues. The story moves along and progresses constantly. The actors are all very good (AND very good-looking.) ^.^

You can feel the struggle the characters have in the story and feel with them.

Also the music was good.

I even caught myself humming the tunes to it at work.

(Unfortunately I dont understand/speak korean. YET ^_^) haha.

Hoped that helped, and you are now convinced to go and watch it.
