Se tornou uma das minha favoritas!!!

Mesmo sendo só 8 episódios...e agora que eu finalizei, 8 se tornaram "pouco " mas o final foi tão complexo! Genuinamente não sabia como ia terminar, na verdade nem sabia como se desenvolveria e sobre o que era em específico, além do tema "vingança", mas não só se tornou uma das minhas favoritas mas uma das melhores que eu já assisti!!! A reviravolta, revelações, segredos, conquistas... Sinto que foi uma das protagonistas mas forte e divas que eu já vi, porque ela lutou até o fim! E venceu, teve disciplina de "conquistar" o que ela trainou tanto,mas creio que por conta do Pildo...oh Pildo, essas migalhas recebidas, torci tanto pra ser um endgame,mas creio que teriamos outra caminho se não tivesse acontecido!! Agora o que reste é reasssitir!!!

Supremacia de história!!!!!!!!!!

Eu realmente não pensei que fosse amar tanto esse drama. Ele foi tao incrível da abertura, do começo ao fim. O jeito respeitoso que tratou da cultura tailandesa, os seus costumes e o povo foi tao vibrante e bonito de assistir. Eu fiquei extremamente encantada. E uma diferença gritante pra mim foi nos personagens secundários que estavam em torno dos protagonistas, ja vi outros bls e a diferença de atuação... eu me apeguei a eles e me diverti muito. Foi especial.
Falando do nosso casal protagonista, LINDOS, quimica pura, história linda. Gente que enredo lindo desse drama e triste, a vila eu entendia o que ela tinha passado. A linha de construção muito bem feita. O casal muito bem construído, as cenas uma mais linda que a outra. O casal secundário também, fiquei completamente encantada, eu fiquei vidrada na tv assistindo, empolgada de verdade.
Um drama muito bem feito e muito amarradinho, empolgada para o especial!!!!!!

it's a solid show

Wow, just wow! Just finished watching Mo Li. This is my first review here, I just felt like dropping this. I almost missed out just because of the top reviews I saw....

All I can say is it's a solid show. I'm a sucker for a good plot, and something I can relate to, I guess that's why I always struggle watching most fantasy dramas. I took breaks in between, and anytime I came back to continue watching, I'm always hooked.

It has tragic scenes, and I believe that's the main plot of the drama anyway, and what sells it.

It's a well-written drama and definitely one of the top dramas I've seen this year.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!

I really don’t write reviews, but OMG, I just had to for this one. I’ve watched countless BLs, and although this is a GL, I have to say it immediately outperformed almost every single BL I’ve watched. The acting, music, story, and CHEMISTRY were absolute PERFECTION! Especially the cinematography! The actors did a PHENOMENAL job and I can’t get over how pure and honest there emotions felt! I cried during probably every episode lol, and honestly, it felt so good because everything and I mean EVERYTHING was executed SO SO BEAUTIFULLY. I don’t know how more people don’t know about this show, but if you need a reason why, this is it WATCH IT NOW!

"Many people who can't be saved by the justice system are victimized by it instead"

Sins of Kujo is a law drama that focuses on Kujo Taiza, a defense attorney who specializes in cases involving the weak, the poor, and the wicked. Despite the fact that the judicial system promises representation for defendants, Kujo is treated as a pariah among other lawyers for the clients he takes on.

Defense lawyer Kujo Taiza harbors dark secrets and takes on cases others shun. He lives in a tent on the roof of the building he works in having lost everything in his divorce. He has no visitation rights to his daughter and has been completely disowned by his own family. The straightlaced Karasuma Shinji applies to work in Kujo’s practice with secrets of his own. Shinji finds Kujo’s clients distasteful and his methods aberrant. Social worker Yakushimae Hitomi drops in occasionally to help with clients in need of public assistance. Mibu Kengo, a yakuza fixer, helps on the fringe, for good or bad remains to be seen.

One of the things that worked for me in this drama was that there were no meaningful court scenes. We were privy to the actions before court and the resolutions afterwards. No long, drawn-out, overly dramatic speeches with each case. It was also interesting to watch a law drama that covered the gray areas and people. Kujo told Shinji to not confuse morality and the law. His clients were not people anyone in polite society was going to invite to dinner but they deserved to be properly represented just like everyone else. Not that anyone seemed to believe that. Other lawyers, the police, and citizens on the street considered Kujo a crooked lawyer because he represented criminals. He was threatened with prison often, nearly every episode, which I found confusing. Unless he did something illegal, being a defense attorney was an important cog in the wheels of justice. How was representing crooks any less ethical that representing corporate raiders who bled people dry on a grand scale? At least once an episode someone would bang on about how awful he was, despite the fact he also worked tirelessly to help victims and didn’t charge exorbitant fees. He was definitely an unorthodox human rights lawyer at times.

The work relationship between Kujo and Shinji never gelled for me. The connection between Kujo and the tattooed Mibu was far more intriguing. The social worker tended to show up at mealtimes and spent most of her scenes with Shinji. There was an incredibly repressed and narrow-minded activist lawyer that was dangled as a possible love interest for Kujo. Neither female character was written very well.

There was obviously a sinister connection between Kujo, Mibu, the yakuza Kyoguko, and detective Arashiyama though a frustrating dearth of clues as to what their connections were. Kujo was playing a long game but the writers were silent on what that game was. Something you do need to know about this drama is that it ends on a cliffhanger without resolving any of the issues that were hinted at for 10 episodes***. If no season 2 appears on the horizon, I’ll be dropping my score. Up until the last episode I would have rated this drama an 8 merely for not retreading overused law cases and tropes. I’d honestly put off watching this drama until a season 2 has been confirmed.

Usually, dramas drop a juicy clue before the cliffhanger. Not this one. Combined with not knowing if there will be a season 2, those are the real Sins of Kujo.

Wowowowow! The right amount of comedy, drama and action sequences, I was definitely not bored, I basically watched it in 2 sittings. Eunbin is delightful as always, it was so fun to watch her in a role similar to her hello my twenties phase- her range never ceases to amaze me! Also Eunwoo was fantastic in this, I was a bit worried about him paired with a power house like Eunbin, but they complimented each other so well and their chemistry was amazing! The whole ensemble did a great job, and I was really invested in all the wunderkids storylines. I also think they have set themselves up tremendously for a season 2, god i hope they give it to us! I would love to see the main 3 more confident in their powers and more development of their backstories...

A dating show full of suspense and emotion

I was first drawn to this show by its unique premise, something so different from any American dating shows I've heard of. I'm not sure how I expected that premise to be executed, but I definitely wasn't prepared for the rollercoaster of emotions! I fell in love with all the cast members and found myself rooting for all of them, no matter their role. I really enjoyed watching their adventures together and the bonds they formed <3

However, even though I gave the cast a 10, I can't give a full 10 to the show overall because by the final confession, the premise was feeling kind of cruel towards the women who fell in love but had to break their own hearts and the hearts of the men they loved. 9/10 Justice Gets Dirty: A Gritty, Addictive Legal Thriller That Keeps You Guessing

I was casually scrolling through Netflix looking for something easy to leave running in the background, ideally an English-dubbed Korean drama, when I stumbled across the Thai limited series The Evil Lawyer. Safe to say, that plan went out the window almost immediately. What started as background viewing quickly became a full-attention binge because this legal thriller is surprisingly juicy, highly engaging, and, in many ways, uncomfortably relatable.
Set against the backdrop of a deeply flawed justice system, The Evil Lawyer follows Mek, an idealistic young attorney whose belief in the law is shattered when he is framed for murder. Forced into an uneasy alliance with the notorious defence lawyer Jittri, a woman known for exploiting loopholes and bending the rules, Mek finds himself navigating a world where justice and morality rarely go hand in hand. As they unravel a larger conspiracy involving politicians, police officers, judges, and powerful criminal figures, the series continually asks whether doing the right thing is enough when the system itself is broken.
As someone who has become increasingly cynical about the judicial system in my own country, I found myself understanding-and at times even agreeing with-Jittri's methods. When powerful people abuse their authority and manipulate the system to their advantage, it becomes easy to see why some believe the only way to fight dirty is to fight back just as hard. That moral complexity is one of the show's greatest strengths. It never offers easy answers, and it constantly challenges viewers to question where they personally draw the line between justice and revenge.
What I particularly appreciated was Jittri's investigative team. Instead of surrounding herself with polished professionals and elite experts, she recruits people whom society often dismisses as troublemakers, thugs, or social outcasts. Beneath their rough exteriors, however, are intelligent, resourceful individuals who understand the realities of injustice better than most. Their street smarts, connections, and lived experiences become some of the team's most valuable assets, adding another layer to the show's themes about privilege, prejudice, and power.
The cast is excellent across the board, but one standout for me was Kob Songsit Roongnophakunsri as Anan Methaneepaisal, the series' main antagonist. Rather than playing the role as an over-the-top villain, he delivers a calm, measured, and quietly sinister performance. He carries himself like a respected elder, speaks with confidence and authority, and even presents himself as a man of faith. That restraint makes him far more intimidating than a stereotypical villain ever could. I genuinely didn't expect his fate in the finale, which only added to the shock value of the ending.
Speaking of the finale, the last episode is absolutely explosive. Just when I thought I had figured out where the story was heading, the series pulled the rug out from under me. The twists were unexpected, the stakes felt enormous, and the final revelations left me genuinely stunned.
What makes The Evil Lawyer so compelling is that nobody is truly innocent. There are no flawless heroes or purely evil villains. Every character operates within shades of grey, often making questionable decisions in the name of survival, justice, or self-preservation. The series understands that people are far too complex to fit neatly into categories of good and bad, and that realism gives the story its emotional weight.
The writing is layered and packed with surprises. Each episode peels back another layer of the mystery, often revealing that what seemed like the truth was merely a distraction from something much larger. The drama also takes inspiration from real-world crimes and social issues, touching on corruption, exploitation, human trafficking, and abuse of power. The interconnected storylines are cleverly constructed, and the character development feels thoughtful and earned.
Despite its heavy themes, the show also knows when to have fun. Some characters are intentionally larger than life, and a few moments border on the ridiculous, but somehow that becomes part of the series' charm. There are comedic scenes that help break up the tension, including one particularly hilarious sequence involving witnesses attempting to fabricate an alibi, complete with an exaggerated flashback that had me laughing out loud.
My only real criticism is the length. While I never found the show boring or difficult to watch, I do think the story could have been told more efficiently. For me, eight episodes felt slightly longer than necessary for the premise. A shorter limited series or even a two-part film might have delivered the same impact with a tighter runtime. That said, the pacing remains solid throughout, and there is very little filler.
I'm honestly surprised this drama isn't rated higher. It's a refreshing alternative for viewers who are feeling burnt out by the endless cycle of romantic comedies and supernatural dramas. Fans of The Lincoln Lawyer, Better Call Saul, Suits, The Good Wife, and The Good Fight will likely appreciate its darker, morally ambiguous approach to legal storytelling.
By the time the credits rolled, I wasn't left with simple answers. Instead, I was left questioning my own beliefs about justice, morality, and whether doing the right thing is always enough. For me, that's exactly what makes The Evil Lawyer such a memorable watch. And after that jaw-dropping ending, I definitely wouldn't say no to a second season.

A short drama that's worth it.

He, she It is quite good and way better than I expected. I have only seen Rearrange by Big Napat and I really enjoyed it so I was definitely expecting a bit. it has 3 chapters, like the title, He, She and It. I tried to divide my feelings over all three of them. I have to say I'm extremely surprised how much I ended up enjoying this small mini series. I now also have the motivation to watch Ingredients since I've been missing out on that one. The colour grading could be a bit better, it was often very grey ish but I'm letting that go this time.

Chapter 1: He. This chapter made me extremely uncomfortable in the beginning. They have to kiss for what I assume seems like a workshop. None of them look comfortable with it and it's just an eerie feeling. At first I was like: Mike was stupid asf for dragging Peem along in the water. But after it was revealed to be something they, what I assume, acted out, I got even more confused. Why was Mike couching etc? "Sometimes we can't tell them apart" and that being the reason for Mike's panic attack is weird asf. I get her point but nothing made sense. Overall just didn't impress me. I had no idea what was going on and confused. I get the message behind this chapter but it felt empty.

Chapter 2: She. I had no idea what to expect for this chapter and didn't know if it would be connected to chapter 1. I was expecting this possibly to be straight. Yeah so this was fucking bad of Mike. Look, I get he might've been hiding his relationship/sexuality but cheating is not good either way. I feel extremely bad for Peem but also for Pear. Pear is clearly unwanted yet Mike is dating her and Peem is the one where they both have returned feelings yet he hides it away by dating Pear. Ok after watching towards the ending I can't help but hate Mike more and more. WDYM YOU DATED HER FOR 3 FUCKING YEARS.... Exploring your sexuality is not bad but at least speak up Jesus Christ. And how does Mike have the fucking audacity to run after Pear after HE was the one cheating and then getting mad at Peem as if he wasn't the one who cheated. I need to remind everyone, Mike wasn't aware Peem did indeed drown and it was not his intention. He thought Peem was acting the first time.

Chapter 3: It. I like the eerie music playing in the beginning of It. The whole drawing scene in chapter 2 is still following you so it's absolutely perfect. "Don't stress about it" wtf are his friends on? Mike is an asshole, yes, but he did accidentally drown Peem. Why would he not stress about it? They are so shitty for not comforting him and instead just hanging out and pushing him into it aswell. Mike crashing out again... ugh. Brother this is in the end your fault. Nothing wrong with Mean telling Pear you cheated on her after dating for 3 years. The fact that Peem was angry at Mean and not fucking Mike irritates me. Yes, I get it, you loved Mike but bro.... Anyways, The ending wasn't amazing and honestly just boring. Although the music did not disappoint. In the end I do blame Mike the most and Peem was wrong as well but in his case I will blame Mike. I'm a bit confused wether or not Mean died at the ending?

Love seeing Jeff Satur play Mike and composing it! I have to say that Jeff is extremely good at having that sad look on his face. It feels extremely real and depressing. I know he barely acts these days and focuses mostly on music but I do really miss his acting! This is completely his choice of course. I keep accidentally writing his name as Mik since that's how they pronounce it. Jeff looks so young here hahahah, it's adorable. Honestly he wasn't even extremely young but he definitely looks younger. He often makes me forget he is already 31, even though I actually celebrated his birthday at a cup sleeve event. Extremely well outro of course and Jeff didn't disappoint. It was kinda annoying that they brought out the guitar the whole time but for the vocals I won't hate on it.

I've never seen Gameplay in any series before. It kinda saddens me because his role as Peem was amazing. He seems like a great actor. I heard he stopped/went on hiatus of acting for his business. He did apparently go on a casting a bit ago but idk if he passed. I'm just hoping to see something more of him in the future. Something about him made him amazing. As for Pom Runn I've also never seen him before, he also didn't act in anything else outside He She It and Ingredients. I did some research and apparently he is a hair stylist now. I hope someone will update his page.

Prenant et frustrant

Après l’excellent série coréenne « Teach You a lesson », « undercover High schill », « Bitch X Rich » et l’incroyable « Weak Class Hero » je me suis dit qu’il fallait que je lorgne du côté de la série Japonaise
Série japonaise « Viral Hit », adaptation du webtoon coréen.

Alors je dois avouer que c’est un divertissement aussi prenant que frustrant. Son plus grand atout est son propos : une satire du monde impitoyable des réseaux sociaux, où la violence devient un spectacle et la célébrité une question d’algorithmes .

La série fonctionne comme un shonen moderne et une réflexion cynique sur notre époque .
mais franchement, le format est trop court. Les 6 épisodes imposent un rythme effréné qui sacrifie le développement des personnages et rend certaines relations confuses . Si l'intrigue principale est addictive, on reste frustré, comme si l'on survolait une œuvre qui aurait mérité plus de profondeur . Pour un divertissement efficace, c'est un succès, mais il aurait mérité plus de profondeur dans les personnages, et cette fin est terriblement frustrante … ca appelle une saison 2 evidemment !

58 Perhaps one of the Japanese BLs with the most unfair rating on MDL.

I don’t want to sound arrogant, but this series—and its rating—explain why people have developed skewed expectations regarding BL and how that harms genuine *queer* series.
Itsuki’s comments about BL have stayed with me for a long time because I share that opinion. BL series often turn into heterosexual relationships disguised as gay stories—aimed at girls tired of conventional romances between men and women. But as a gay man, I want to say that we are so much more than that; we deserve stories like this one—which I wouldn't classify as BL, but rather as one of Japan's few truly *queer* series. If you judge this series solely as BL made to please a female audience, the rating comes as no surprise. However, when you stop and evaluate it as a queer series, it takes on a impact that I believe most BL fans will never grasp.
BL is made for you—the girls—whereas this series is made for us, queer men; I respectfully ask that you not reduce this work to the level of BL, a genre so often created exclusively to cater to your tastes.

Na Hwa-Jin's Iconic team gives school villains a taste of their own medicine! Perfection!

Goodness me that was amazing! I was sceptical of the premise at first but the drama quickly managed to win me over. Just pure fun and entertainment, interesting cases, and satisfying revenge delivered in every episode, no filler at all! The team also was just iconic haha, I loved the crazy Im Han-Rim the most, but everyone was great in their own way. The casting and acting overall in the drama was just perfect!

Even though the drama is mostly comedic action, the drama did an amazing job actually showcasing many different and serious problems schools are facing nowadays. Each episode highlights a new case (these kind of dramas are my favorite, Taxi Driver- like as I like to call them haha) and there was a great variety of different cases. I was actually really surprised the drama didn't just stay on the bullying topic; it had so much more to offer: from problematic parents and violent drug gangs to corrupt teachers and all the rest.


This was pretty much K-drama perfection for me, just everything worked. Easy 9,5 or 10/10!
