LOVE IT. One of the best DMD series!

I really enjoyed this 🥰 Another great hit from DMD. I wasn't sure if I was gonna like it cause I'm iffy with time travel series but I kept going cause I love NetJJ. I'm glad I kept watching.
I laughed alot. Especially at the servants. They were hilarious and loved the bickering between Klao's and Phop's servant. 😂
I loved how there was a full episode of them in the future, meeting and all instead of the last 30 minutes lol.
Time travel ALWAYS confuses me and was confused the whole time 😭 But when Phop started explaining at the end, it made a little more sense. I'm like ohhh and its all because of him, not the fortune teller.
Its sad that Phop found the real Klao's body in the water and thought it was Nakun. Ended up putting 2 and 2 together in the future, wasn't Nakun that dissappeared that night BUT it was still Klao from your time.
I'm assuming Phop basically died from a broken heart, wasn't eating and drinking?? Ngl I thought he was gonna commit suicide if he wasnt able to find Nakun. Going by the other couple (TutorYim) who died together. Phop looked so heartbroken and had no life in him anymore. 😭😭😭
Its great how they made Nakun's mom the reincarnation of Klao's dad. I never would've guessed that until Nakun seen his face on her.
We all been patiently waiting for 3 years for this to finally air! 🤣🤣 Its a definite rewatch. ❤️❤️

TOXIC TROPE AND A story seen and reviewed. It can make you laugh every now and then.

My Royal Nemesis - A Beautiful
Setup Ruined by Toxic Tropes
A Promising K-Drama That Fails to Deliver What started as a highly anticipated fantasy rom-com quickly devolves into a tedious, exhausting watch. Frustrating Pacing and Wasted Premise
• Stretched Storyline: The reverse isekaiconcept of a Joseon royal waking up in modern Seoul loses its charm after just a few episodes.
· Repetitive Enmity: The clash between the leads is dragged out so excessively that the "enemies-to-lovers" dynamic turns entirely frustrating.

· Lazy Writing: Instead of developing
genuine emotional depth, the narrative
relies heavily on clichés, slow-motion
standoffs, and uninspired plot armor.
Flawed Chemistry and Stiff Delivery
• Wooden Male Lead: The performance lacksany emotional nuance, delivering the exact same facial expression and flat tone of
voice across every single episode.
· Mismatched Energy: The main characters share zero natural on-screen chemistry, making their forced romantic progression incredibly hard to swallow.
• Carried by the Heroine: While the female lead tries her absolute best to salvage the comedic timing, she cannot carry the weight of an entire uninspiring cast alone.

Toxic Tropes Overload
· Exhausting Male Lead: The "cold-hearted to the world" trope goes way too far, crossing the line from a charmingly distant chaebol into a genuinely unlikable, arrogant character.
• Outdated Romance: The show heavily
relies on toxic K-drama clichés from
decades ago, failing to offer any modern update or actual joy to the viewer.
Time-Wasting Pacing: Watching this series ultimately feels like forcing yourself through 12 hours of filler content, leaving you with nothing but regret

Love will always find a way

Truly impressed with Love Upon A Time from beginning to end. each episode just got better and better.

From episode 1 it was so engaging and attention grabbing it left me wanting more.
Great job balancing the romance along with the investigative part in the story, I feel like nothing was left unanswered and any changes from the novel to the adaptation were practical ones that fit a physical version of the story even more.

The visuals and quality of each episode were beautiful, the hardwork from the staff behing LUAT was so clear. I know they all faced hardships during this project from prolonged delays to sets being flooded and so on but I will forever be grateful that not one person ever gave up on LUAT.

Net did a fantastic job as Phop, I've seen all the preparation from him in things like practicing his speech, sword and combat training, etc. every emotional scene from him made me feel everything he was feeling especially the sad scenes.
JJ was so good leading the series as well as he did. I know it must've been hard at times but I hope he can be proud of himself. it might seem like things aren't completely good but this is just the beginning for you and netjj.

Latte, i'm so happy after all these years he was finally able to be part of a series. I will admit he impressed me a lot more than I was expecting. He is typically quiet and private but for this role of playing two personalities he did a great job having a clear divide of each.
Kim, the perfect Kaew he is so lovely and truly embodied the character he was playing. it was my first time seeing him act and I think he did well.

--

If anyone is wondering if they should give LUAT a chance. my answer would be yes. maybe you are someone who thinks time period series aren't for you and that's okay but I will say this one is quite different from other time period dramas. it's the perfect rom-com mix with not too much comedy to take away from the serious moments.

Uma Obra-Prima do Romance Cinematográfico: Por Que "Ticket to Heaven" é Imperdível

Fulfill Review: The Underrated Thai GL Giving Sapphics Hope

Fulfill quietly became one of our favorite Thai GLs of the year. With stellar chemistry from #OomBam, heartfelt storytelling, and one of the genre’s first post-marriage sapphic love stories, this underdog delivers something rare: hope. In our full review, we break down why Aioon and Fun’s healthy relationship, authentic intimacy, and wholesome journey make Fulfill a series more fans should be talking about.

I’m finally brave enough to accept the ending

Watching Twenty-Five Twenty-One again years later made me realize that the ending was actually perfect.

The first time I watched it, I was focused on whether Hee-do and Yi-jin would end up together. Like many viewers, I wanted the fairytale ending. But after revisiting the series, I realized that the story was never really about two people being destined to stay together forever. It was about how deeply they loved each other during a specific chapter of their lives.

What makes the ending so powerful is that it reflects reality. Not every great love story ends in marriage or happily-ever-after. Sometimes people meet at exactly the right moment, help each other become who they are meant to be, and then move in different directions. That does not make their love any less real or meaningful.

Hee-do and Yi-jin were each other’s comfort, strength, and source of growth during some of the most important years of their lives. Their relationship shaped them, even if it wasn’t permanent. The heartbreak of the ending is precisely what makes it memorable—it honors the idea that some relationships are meant to be treasured rather than preserved forever.

Years later, I no longer see the ending as sad. I see it as honest. We didn’t get to watch a love story that lasted forever; we got to watch a love story unfold. And that’s what makes Twenty-Five Twenty-One so special.

Not like the novel

Okay, so they have changed Mo Jing Li character a lot compared to the novel. They made him out ot be a victim when in the novel he is not . In the novel his character is just vile and self serving. Ye Li in the novel is a lady of hidden tallents and a lot stronger not as strong as amna but she could hold her own. A huge plus is her memories from her pervious life as a special agent solider. She retains this knowledge in this world from the morder world. so she knows different fighting techniques from the mordern world. It would have been nice if they had stuck to the novel. Anyway dropping this series. It does not help when the change things so much from the novel to the drama. Really dont see the chemistry between the two main leads it is there a little but I think Ye Li is trying a lot more in the drama. Pring Ding was a lot colder in the novel as he could stand fron the start and hid the fact so he could work for the emperor behind the scene.

From 6.5 to 9.5

When I first saw the first 3 episodes i rated this drama 6.5, now after finishing it, it's 9.5.
Give it a try, it's a unique story. We are all stories, and this story is a bit heartbreaking yet it is a good story.
It speaks of love in a very different way, a mother's fear, a father's obsession, a life's work... and so many others aspects of human being humans, yet it shows the extent parents go for their children, how you can hate someone despite loving them, how it feels special to that one person in the whole world.
Thank you for those who gave us this story.

Toxic BL done RIGHT

I wanna start this off by saying this was done so well.
Lu Feng was a red flag, and not one was that glossed over or made out to be something romantic. He was toxic, abusive and violently obsessed, everyone knew it and no one tried to deny that.
I was genuinely worried how they were going to end this on a happy note--but the diagnosis and psychiatrist route was not what I was expecting at all.
You find out over time that Yichen, while being a victim in it most of the time, still loved him regardless. A lot can be said about how this is a dynamic that you see a lot in abusive relationships, but things really changed when he told his brother that he was going to do what he wanted even after all the bullshit Lu Feng put him through.
Bipolar Disorder is no joke, and absolutely does not excuse anything he put Yichen through, but the diagnosis and commitment to treatment ultimately saved their whole relationship. At that point the dynamic kind of switched a bit, Yichen was in control of their relationship, Lu Feng had two options: either get treatment in order for their relationship to succeed, or lose Yichen forever--the one thing that terrified him the most and the biggest trigger of his mood disorder.
I love a good toxic bl, but I *hate* when its glorified as romance and, in my opinion, I think this was done properly.
Ayden and Sitong are brilliant actors.
If anyone keeps up with the bts and various public appearances you know they definitely take care of each other and look after one another, I am just hoping and praying for their safety and sanity.
All in all I was very impressed and I am so looking forward to more from them both.

Support actors and Side story gets more screen time

If you came to watch the story between the main leads, just know they hardly get any screen time. This should be advertised as a GL drama with the side the BL.

The story is fine - average. The acting is fine - average. The setting and the location are great. I love the scenes on the tea farm.
But again, the biggest let down is that we hardly get any screen time or real relationship development between the main leads. In episode six I think they genuinely only have 5-7 minutes of screen time for a 45 minute episode. And it's been like this is most of the episodes.

a mix of cuteness, toxicity and a lot of emotions

first id like to talk about the cast, they did such a great job esp ayden's performance its so great, a great actor indeed, he portrayed lu feng so well, and Lu Si Tong is such a cutie he is so adorable
the ost is great, an intriguing story which switch from cute to toxic and dark to cute again and give us all type of feelings from giddiness, to sadness, to frustration and anger, to more giddiness from cute scenes
i highly recommend it for people who can handle toxic and dark stories, its better to check the tags and the trailer before watching tho as it can be very triggering

Funny and Lighthearted

Honestly, the summary doesn’t do it justice. It's funny, light-hearted, and a great watch after a long day when your boss won't leave you alone.
The two have great chemistry and I enjoyed watching people give back to the community even if it's fake for a storyline. I feel as if giving is restricted to the holiday season in the US and it shouldn't be (if you can afford it.)
Also, I've never seen a doctor with that much free time. But it's also impossible to find a doctor in a hospital so there is that....

Too Many Plot Problems to Score Higher

Idk what universe patients are allowed to be halfway into the OR and if that isn't enough how is someone with an ethical question allowed to practice on that patient? Does China not have HIPPA? Also, how does a board certified Obgyn end up as a physical therapist? I have so many plot-related questions. But I might run out of space, so I'm choosing to move on. I can honestly say that I never thought of this pairing and was pleasantly surprised by the electricity of it.
