The early episodes of this drama is very enjoyable to watch. With all the comedy it has, you will mistake it to a sitcom program. So overall it won't hurt to watch this at all. But what didn't work for me is the draggy episodes at 14 and up. I gave up watching this and just now I rekindle my love for this drama and I managed to finish it. All I can say now is.. What a SATISFYING ending!

As for the soundtrack, SKKS maybe my favorite sountrack OST but this drama soundtrack is not bad at all! From Baek Ji Young's after a long time to Ali's hurt and to Jay Park's Happy Ending. It's good and not cheesy at all!

My advise for people who wants to see this but doesn't have a time to finish the total 20 hours long drama. You won't miss a thing if ever you only watch the beginning, partly the middle and finally the ending.

BTW, the reason why I gave this drama a perfect 10 for story wise is I think if drama writers consider to make a story of Lee Gak, the Crown Princess and Bu Yong at Josean time, I see a good sageuk drama coming...

The story, my god. It was amazing. There are twists and turns around every corner. YOU'LL THINK YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN, BUT YOU'RE WRONG. The writers have crafted this story so well.

The cast----they stick onto you. Even when the drama's over, you'll have their faces and obsession over omourice engraved into your head. I LOVED LOVED LOVED the acting. I sat in the corner of my room and cried my butt off. When Lee Gak and Park Ha cry, it's so sincere that I get goosebumps.

The music---it's very catchy. But they keep replaying it over and over again. There was a part in Episode 20 that the music was abruptly cut off. Other than that, everything was A-OK.

Many people can get confused by the storyline.
So it's a definite MUST, to rewatch the drama. You might catch things that you've missed. ;D

Overall, I definitely recommend this drama to those who can handle mood swings. One episode and you'll be hooked. Dare to test my theory?

No!! I'm so sad that it's all over. It was such a fun and loving drama. Out of all the time travelling dramas out there, I would say that this is the best. It was so cute and the mystery and suspense in the story was very good. I enjoyed watching it very much. Not to mention the cast. They did a very wonderful job, even those who pissed the hell out of me and were evil, they did a very good job of making me hate them. Yoochun is a very good actor and you can see that he is improving with his acting through each episode. I can see a very bright future if he continues to act. A great drama and I really recommend it.

This drama was so much fun to watch! Based on the promo picture, and the synopsis, I expected this to be really corny, but I was so wrong. Rooftop Prince was funny, romantic, tragic, suspenseful, and enjoyable from start to finish. The story sometimes takes things to the K-Drama extreme, but the acting is so good that they made the unbelievable believable. I also liked watching the parallel story lines, and loved not being able to predict what was going to happen next.

The whole cast is great, but I adored the "Joseon Power Rangers", who I will just refer to as Yellow, Green, and (my favorite) Blue. Each had an endearing personality that made them real characters, and more than just comic relief in color coordinated outfits. They are definitely a huge highlight.

As far as evil characters go, Lee Tae Sung, and Jung Yoo Mi do their very best to make sure you absolutely HATE them. I immediately forgot any other drama that I liked Lee Tae Sung in, because my anger at Tae Mu took over completely. Jung Yoo Mi managed to anger me even more with her outstanding performance as evil Se Na. Together they made me yell obscenities at the screen, and I loved watching them top themselves with new reasons to make me hate them in every episode.

The two main leads were so good. Han Ji Min was great as perpetual victim Bak (or Park?) Ha/, and won my sympathy without coming across as a weak doormat. I absolutely fell in love with Micky Yoochun, and thought he was great balancing multiple parts, and making each distinct personality work. I loved them both in previous dramas, and I really loved them together. Their chemistry was impressive, even though their first kiss scene was not (although they do make up for it later). There are so many rewatchable cute moments, romantic/sweet moments, and tearjerking/heartbreaking moments between them. The plot involves mysteries of the past, and present, being revealed, but romance is what drives the story. There are a few repetitive moments, but overall their romance is done very well.

By the end, all the important questions do get answered, although I thought that the last episode felt a little rushed while doing so. Some people may find the ending confusing, but I think they are just over thinking it. I wasn't quite sure how it would all end until the very end, and I think that's a good thing. I was also satisfied with the end, though it definitely left me wanting more.

Now I can't finish this review without mentioning the music. I immediately had to have it on my iPod. I get amped by the cheesy "Happy Ending" song, my heart breaks when listening to Ali's "Hurt", and I even loved the instrumentals. The songs enhanced each scene, and were memorable without being distracting. The soundtrack is a sure 10.

Rooftop Prince has the charm of a beloved fairy tale. I am hesitant to give dramas a 10, even if I love them, so I'm giving this a 9. If you focus on plot holes, unrealistic scenarios, and what is or isn't probable, I'm sure you will find flaws, but I was too into the story to be bothered by any of that. I just finished watching it, and I miss it already. I am almost tempted to watch it all again right now!

This a totally biased review so lol there is no need to think to much about it.

What to say well I have to say that if you want to start this drama one may need to be ready to throw tantrums, to cry, laugh, outraged, enraged, happy being means and one must be also able to handle disappointment , because their are many time you will be ready to throw in the towel and go in quest of the writers for a plan murder of your own. Other than that this was a really good story with a really consistent acting, if you take out Yoon Je Moon who I really think was trying to hard to portray the psychotic evil character of Kim Bong Gu, and if you also take out the poor foreign actors that were supposed to play the different English speaking people on the drama, then you are left with truly amazing performance... My hat goes to Jo Jung Suk as
Eun Si Kyung, he played his role to the perfection to the point that when comes the end you will discovered a really powerful reason to go and hunt down the writers like I say !!.. Lee Seung Ki as Prince Lee Jae Ha truly shows the maturity that Seung Ki had gone through for being always portray as a little boy who doesn't want to grow up, he show us that he can also act in the skin of a grown man who is not afraid of respectability, but still know how to nurse the child inside him who his ready to make you see the beauty of life when all else seems dark. Ha Ji Won as Kim Hang Ah of reaffirm her title has an action queen, but she also shows us that we cannot count her out for the girly roles either.Lee Yoon Ji Princess Lee Jae Sin shows us that with a pure heart and determination nothing is impossible. Well I could go on and on about each actors.

MY only disappointing with this but I still gave it a 10 anyway is that I feel that they rush the end because they realize that they did not have any additional episode so it was rush.

But don't let this little disappointment make you skip on this drama, because well I don't know it's just awesome.

I apologize in advance for the length of what follows.
This drama hit me like a tsunami of emotions and has left me bruised in so many places I'm in dire need of a strong tonic
I had promised myself to never say this, but rules are made to be broken: King 2 Hearts is the best drama I have ever watched. It is so because it fully responds to what I ask a work of fiction: not just to entertain me, but to make me feel. Deeply.

I suppose it's not for everyone though. It raises issues which require a level of maturity, as well as a huge dose of emotional strength. It plays on prejudices and the rotten nature of politics, sparing no one: the arrogance of the western world, the obtuseness of military regimes, the cowardice of politicians, the corruptive power of money no matter where. But it highlights the best virtues too: loyalty, friendship, courage, honesty, responsibility towards the people we love. This story is the growth of a group of people, from biased to understanding, and most of all is the birth of a king worth of this name.
It's obviously a love story too, but I'm glad this is only partly the focus of the drama. Don't expect a rom-com, or you'll be disappointed. The comedy is there, mainly in the beginning, and it is a clever sort of fun, but it's devoid of the usual comedic tropes, and it always has a black undertone - which I personally adore.
So to me this is a truly romantic drama, in the classical sense of the word, full of awe, suspense and heartbreak. There isn't even an ounce of fluff: if this is what you're looking for, King 2 Hearts is not for you.

Two words about script and direction: the first is one of the most consistent I've come across, never deviating from reality even when the setting is fictional. I am aware some of the scenarios are controversial to say the least, but if you give a look at the way international politics works, you'll see that - alas - it's a lot more plausible than we would like to admit. This said, the writers managed to create an ensemble of wonderful characters who touch the heart, and always thought-provoking dialogues. Direction is splendid, very film-like, playing on grand-angle and close-up shots, on colours, light and dark. The action scenes are believable and thrilling.

Standing ovation for the performance of the entire cast. Everyone has done such a brilliant job, I'm in awe.
Ha Ji Won is wonderful, to say the least. I've read some arguing that a north Korean soldier can't be so girly and trusting in the matters of the heart, but her multiple layers are what make Hang A the incredibly believable character I fell in love with, and Ha Ji Won the awesome actress she is. Besides her doing most of her stunts, she studied the North dialect, voice intonation and poses. The result is a charming mixture of vulnerability and strength which is profoundly feminine.
I'm glad I've really got to know Lee Seung Gi with this drama, because this young man has done an amazing step forward in terms of acting. His performance as the shallow, prejudiced playboy he's in the beginning slowly growing to be a king to be proud of, is mind-blowing. I truly felt all his suffering, doubts, uncertainties, fear… stress. He has gained a loyal fan for his professionalism and for the courage to accept a controversial part which more mature actors had refused before him.
Jo Jung Suk and Lee Yoon Ji have been an incredible revelation for me, both acted so naturally it's almost unbelievable.
Hat off to all the other actors. I was just as involved in their fates as I was in that of the main couple. They all made me laugh, weep (buckets, really), be proud or exhilarated.
Yes, even the villain. It won't be easy for the actor to shrug off the image. He embodies evil in its most horrific, unadulterated form: gratuitous cruelty, the pleasure to see others suffer, vanity and megalomania, all highlighted by a child-like behaviour which is as disquieting as it reduces him to the sub-human this character actually is.

Oh, the music!
A good soundtrack explains the scenes with the notes. When he wrote the score for the 1993 film "The Piano", Michael Nyman said he needed some piano pieces which could speak for Ada, who is mute, and work as a substitute to her voice.
That's what the music in King 2 Hearts does: if you close your eyes and listen to it (I have it all on my i-pod) the music will speak for the scene, and will keep on speaking to you when the show is over. The instrumental pieces are simply perfect and aching. "Two Hearts" begins with the pound of two hearts, hence explaining in a second a title whose meaning I had been pining over for weeks.
Simply beautiful.

I have already re-watched half of the drama and am going through a second (third?) complete marathon. If I gave this a lower re-watch value I'd be a hypocrite. And, believe it or not, it improves on second watching.
There's so much more I'd like to say about it, but I fear I've been wordy enough. I feel a last word of… warning is needed though: be prepared to feel strongly. If what you ask a drama is to entertain you or divert you, don't watch King 2 Hearts; only approach it if you're ready to grow so much attached to these characters, seeing them go will give you an almost physical pain.

Where do I start?
This drama has it all. It has romance, comedy, psychological and physical terror, politics, family, and action to name just a few. The strength of the characters in this drama is what holds this story together. The writers did a fantastic job of keeping the characters consistent. There is not one time that the action and conversations are out of character. The story was well thought out. The writers may have worked from the end backwards, because it was carefully planned.

The range of emotions that one goes through watching this drama is what makes it excellent and that is a tribute to the actors. The main cast of Ha Ji Won, Lee Seung Ki, Lee Yoon Ji, and Jo Jung Suk is epic. I don’t think anyone will ever find a cast that will be able to compete with this one. The actors are right on the money and made me invested in the individuals they play and the story. The actors that played all the side characters were magnificent. I have never disliked a villain as much as Kim Bong Goo and I think that is because Yoon Je Moon plays him so well. He should get some kind of an award for playing the best criminal in a drama. I would also like to give a shout out to Lee Do Kyeong (Hang Ah’s father) and Yoon Yeo Jeong (Jae Ha’s mother). If it weren’t for them, then the whole story would be different.

There will probably be some people that dislike this drama because of one incident. Even though it was an emotional event, I believe it made this drama even better. The acting that was involved in that event sent this drama over the top.

The music in this drama is good too; especially the scenes where the Jae Sin and Si Kyung sing.

I really do believe that this may be one of the best dramas that I have ever seen. I would rewatch it in a heartbeat.

I initially pulled open "A Millionaire's First Love" based on a description on some website that described the story line as more of a romantic comedy. Initially, I thought the plot development was a bit slow for a movie made in the 21st century, where viewers favor a quick and exciting entertainment high. However as the plot began to unfold, I found myself becoming enthralled by the blossoming love between two souls. I only wish I could more accurately describe how much I love this movie (but if I try any more it will just turn out as unintelligable babble). By the time the credits rolled, I was a mess. I had begun tearing up about half way through the film, so I'm sure I was quite a sight to behold. Eyes red, puffy, and overflowing with tears, runny nose, the works. "A Millionaire's First Love" is a beautiful work about how the act of loving someone can change one's heart for good.

I really want to like this movie. I tried so hard to watch it because it sounded really good, but I found myself multitasking rather than ACTUALLY watching the movie. The plot was slow to pick up and not what I had expected. I am considering making an attempt to watch it again, because it seems like the kind of movie that I like better after watching it, then thinking it over again. Or maybe it's just not my kind of movie.

I Would not be all it's a must watch and all but I would not go and say don't go and watch it.

Story : So Before being like some people I know and casting stone at me , for my rating of this drama, I would like to say that my rating are solemnly base on ep 1-3 and 16-20 because I find the beginning really interesting until ep 3 , then I found the story a little redundant, and then I felt that it picked up again at ep 16. The premise for the story is good it's has already been done but the director here and the writers were a little better than what I have already seen of this particular premise.

Acting: I would really like to say that I really liked the way every actor portrayed his or her characters, because all along they made me feel the right reaction toward their characters, I hated the one that were supposed to be hateful and liked the one that were supposes to be like. So if anything need to be applaud in this drama it's the acting.

Music: The music for me got a 10 not because it's was so good ,but because I find that however made the dramas cut , got the music right, they played the right songs at the right places , and the music really suited the story that the drama was telling.

Rewatch: Well I may say that know that I know how it end , I may now go back and really watch it with more attention.

In summary, if you are looking for a satisfying romance (and by satisfying I do not necessarily mean it should have a happy ending), you should definitely go elsewhere. If you are looking for something dark and thought provoking, I think that might have been what they were going for, but it's been done better.

It started off interesting, if cliched (your typical Cinderella-esque story)

BUT, there were more characters and storylines than the writers or the cast really knew what to do with, and in trying to do justice to all they really did justice to none.

They dropped hints that they never picked up, and generally lead the viewer to believe there was more meaning than there ever ended up being. I think it was this promise of something that led so many people to the last episode, and the utter failure to deliver that has inspired so many negative reviews.

The ending was shocking, but in a better crafted drama it would have worked. It never pretended to be a rom-com, so a nice neat happy ending was unnecessary, but at the same time it only ever played at being the kind of dark drama it tried to become at the end. In this case it felt like a cop-out, like the writers simply couldn't find any other way out of the quagmire they'd created. Like they thought the shock value alone would make everyone forget all of the loose ends, and the fact that basically every character was stripped of any respect or redeeming character traits. Like the ending alone would somehow make it profound and thought provoking.

All it did, and not just the final minutes, but the absurd pacing of the entire final episode, was highlight the flaws up until that point. The drama was at the same time repetitive and inconsistent, unbearably long and at the same time rushed, a mess of contradictions that did not work in its favor.

In the end it tries to be too many things and succeeds at none.

I had seen all the popular J romance dramas and I wanted to take a break from Korean dramas for a day so I started browsing for a J drama to watch. I didn’t think I’d like this very much because it is an older drama but I read a positive review and decided to give it a chance…

Story- I absolutely loved it! It was so romantic and angsty. It has everything I look for in a good romance drama. I liked that you don’t have to wait for the main couple to start a relationship cause they start from like episode 3. There is a lot of conflict having to do with life choices though that separates them for a couple of episodes. Each episode gives a little cliff hanger which makes you want to see the next episode. The ending was awesome for the main couple but I like that all the supporting characters find their happy ending as well.

Acting/Cast- The 4 leads did a great job. They made their characters very believable. I loved Fujiki Naohito in this because it’s so different from his Hotaru no Hikari character. The main female actress that played his partner didn’t leave a lasting impression on me. I did appreciate that she had really good chemistry with Fujiki.

Music- There is a lot of music played but I didn’t care for it.

Rewatch- I would definitely watch this again in the future when I'm in the mood for a J romance.

Overall Love Revolution is a romance drama for a more mature audience that I definitely would recommend.

One of the shows that keeps your mouth watering with all the foods that they come up with. It is basically two women vying for the master chef position and ending up using people for their gain. I like the drama more for the beautiful lead actress and two handsome lead actors. It gets me going on who she would end up with. The writer knows how to make you root for a particular male lead. The answer wasn't clear until the last few episodes.
I would say there's too many competitions on who is better in making new Korean cuisines from the beginning to the end. The second female lead made too many evil ways to win and I did not see any justice made.
The ending is somewhat okay but not something I would say good.
Overall, I like it and recommend for you to watch.
