Awesome, again another fantastica' drama to watch. Beautiful story line, funny scene by Jang Guen Suk and Yoona. Just make me cant wait for the remaining episode to finish. What's the ending....sad or happy? I am pretty sure this will be another award winning drama by Jang Guen Suk and Yoona. Jang Guen Suk has never failed his fans on his acting skill. Still a professional actor to admire. Yoona acting skill has improved a lot compare to her previous Cinderella Man. JSG dressing in this drama is great, lots of pinkish match with black. Love it.

I started watching this drama because the poster for this drama seemed amazingly "epic". However, it turned out to be false! This isn't a high budget action drama. Does that mean I was disappointed? Nope! Not at all! This drama has game references (which the subber did a GREAT job of noting), comedy, and even though it was low budget, it was a joy to watch.

Story 10/10: The storyline is actually pretty unique, at least from what i've seen. It's about a Hero who has to go out and defeat an evil entity who is bringing evil in this world! As someone else mentioned, it's somewhat like Monty Python, but it has it's own uniqueness. It also reminded me of the anime Gintama in a way.

Acting 10/10: They were all flawless.

Music 7/10: The music was good. It wasn't really memorable but it did it fulfilled its purpose.

Rewatch Value 6/10 : Since this drama doesn't really have many twists or turns, it's actually a good candidate for rewatching. I generally don't rewatch shows though, but if i'm ever extremely bored and for some reason cannot watch anything else, i'd watch this.

Overall 9/10: This was a short drama (12 episodes of 24 minutes each), but it was funny and interesting.

1-The reason I watched this : As a huge fan of Itazura Na kiss I was hunting down all the dramas adaptations, this was the 2nd adaptation after I saw the disappointing J-version.

2-Storyline/Plot : This drama cut many events from the manga; there were some changes from the original story but the plot was the same. The foolishness, the childish events, those happy romantic and sometimes sad dramatic moments were present which brought back a lot of memories from one of my favorite stories ever!
It was fun to see this adaptation even though I wasn't really dazzled since it lacked many important events.

3-Acting/Cast : I like Kim Hyun Joong because he's attractive but let's face it hes not that great as an actor plus his Beak Seung Jo's coldness really was exagerated sometimes yet it reminds me of Naoki's personality in the anime.
Although OH Ha Ni was a stupid stalker, I never found her character annoying (Probably because she's much better than Kotoko in the Jversion)
The supporting roles were really great especially Baek Seung Jo's mother; her character was really good to watch (a nice change from other evil mothers in Korean dramas) plus Bong Joon Gu and Oh Ha Ni's friends remind me of those from the anime.

4-The ending : Well, there is the YouTube Edition so this is not considered as an "end".
It would have been much bette if they extended it or made a second season because it didn't have much core like the Tw-version.

5-My impression: I felt the story of Itazura na kiss all over again and most importantly I was able to gorget about the J-version disappointment. Even though, I wanted it to be a little different but I didn't hate it.

6-Overall : If you are Itazura na kiss fan you need to watch this.
If you like rom-com then you may like this.
If you like seeing cute cast theb you would like this.

P.S : The korean version was a medium between the disappointing Japanese version and the marvelous Taiwanese version.

I've been wanting to watch something with Lee Min Ki ever since his cameo in Shut Up Flower Boy Band won me over. After watching Spellbound and now Dal Ja's Spring - I can honestly call myself a fan wanting to see more with him :D

To be honest, other than knowing I'd love Min Ki in this drama, I really had no expectations. I didn't really even pay attention to what the storyline was about before I started watching it. I just heard it was good and decided I must watch it. I haven't been this hooked on a drama in a long time - I watched it all in 4 days! I put everything else on hold and watched nothing but Dal Ja's Spring. I found the story that captivating.

By the end of the first episode I knew I'd love it. There was just something about it.... it's more than just your typical love story, it's more than a standard rom-com, it's more than a bunch of cliche's tossed together. And yes this drama definitely did follow the standard Kdrama cliches - but it added something original to it. The story was also more on the mature level, Dal Ja's narrations about life and people were the type that made me sit back and think.

The acting was really great! This was my first drama with Chae Rim but I thought she did an excellent job as Dal Ja. And Lee Min Ki was wonderful as well. I loved the chemistry they both had with each other - yet another reason to watch this drama (:

Also - the side characters were great as well. In the first episode you find yourself not liking Sae Do and Seon Joo, but as the episodes progress it's hard not to! I loved the relationships they all had, the friendships!

I found myself really loving a few songs off of the soundtrack - while others fit with the drama but didn't really catch on to me. My favorite is definitely the "Sha la la la la" song ("Take My Hand and Hold It")

I can definitely see myself rewatching this drama. I just finished it and I'm already missing it. This is one of those drama series that became a favorite very fast and one I'd love to own on DVD.

Overall? I think this is an underrated drama - if I hadn't of heard of Lee Min Ki and if I hadn't of seen a few people talking about it, then I might never of gotten the chance to watch this great drama! Yes, the drama is 5 years old. But don't let that turn you off from watching it. It's a refreshing type of drama - and different from your typical Kdrama. I highly recommend watching it. Even if it doesn't become one of your favorites, I'm sure there's a high possibility of at least liking it and enjoying it (:

There's a lot of sweet moments, funny moments, just overall great moments. Also, I found it hilarious how they used random music in scenes.

Don't think - just watch (:

Skip Beat has to be one of the greatest Taiwanese dramas I have ever seen. The story is really amazing. It's all based on REVENGE!!! Which, you know, isn't the best thing, but the way the theme of revenge is played out throughout the drama really makes it worth it. The importance of this drama is the fact that it is about friendship, and finding your dreams. I loved the focus on determination and perseverance the drama had as well. There wasn't really any focus on romance, being the romantic I am, that's what I was looking forward to, but I don't think Skip Beat needs it. The story was perfect without it, and it does have some ;). This drama was hilarious, and not hilarious in the "haha...that's funny" sort of way, but hilarious in the "What the....what...wha....HAHAHAHA" and it was perfect. I have to give HUUUGE props to the lead actress. She was amazing! Her character was so strange and eccentric, but at the same time amazing. She did a fabulous job! I loved Seeing me some Super Junior!! but I wish that Skip Beat incorporated more of the cast members besides Gong Xi and Lian. It would have been awesome to see the cast members play in with the drama together more. The music was by far the best music I have ever heard for a drama before. I will be purchasing the OST before the week is up. I'm not sure about rewatching though. I mean the drama was amazing, but for some reason the thought of rewatching it is..."ehh" but that's just me. I'm sure a lot of people will think it is worth rewatching a lot more than I do. Overall!! great drama. I enjoyed watching every crazy moment of it.

I don't even know how many points I should give this movie.
At the beginning I was a little disappointed because the main characters weren't what I expected - they were a bit strange and funny. Even though they both changed and storyline explained the reason why they were like this.
The storyline was actually also something totally different from what I had expected, but at the end it maintained its deepness. It was more deeper than I thought and I had to think about this story before I realised all the details and the meaning of the last scene.

This movie had a deep message: "The first(true) love doesn't necessarily have to be the the first person." and also the last scene showed that in life you may meet the right guy anywhere just for a moment without realising it. Now when I think about it, the last scene was a nice touch at the end making the movie more deeper.

I also thought about why the man she "looked" for was played by the same actor in those "memory scenes". Later I realised that actually it didn't matter how the Mr. Destiny really looked like. They were only her memories and the point was that she hold onto those memories too much fearing to face the future and her real life, also not doing anything about that Mr. Destiny, trying to maintain those memories without knowing the happy or unhappy ending.

I think this is a kind of movie you should rewatch, because there are so many details you'll understand better as you rewatch it, but I won't rewatch it because I never rewatch movies. (except for if I want to show it to a friend and we watch it together ;) )

I accept and agree with the meaning of that movie, but it's not the best or one of the best movies for me. Those main characters had something missing for me or were too different from what I had expected. Therefore, it was quite fine movie due to its deep meaning but not due to its cast. I liked Gong Yoo in "Coffee Prince", but I didn't like the characther he played in this story, unfortunately.

But all of those people who like the "first love" theme and movies with a deeper meaning, watch it. It will be a heartwarming and interesting story for sure.

1-The reason I watched this : I don't usually watch historical dramas but when I saw this drama's synopsis, I decided to give it a try mainly because of the gender bender theme.

2-Storyline/Plot : Unlike other historicals, this drama had a lot of interesting turns that kept me wanting more. Beside the normal elements you find in historicals, this drama had a theme that's not very common in that era containing a lot of events with romance, laughter, action and even mysteries and most of all it wasn't slow in a any way.

3-Acting/Cast : It couldn't be any better even though Yoo Chun was never a good actor, I still enjoyed the acting here.
Moreover, I liked "The ravishing quartet"; they were amazing especially Song Joong Ki, I loved how he portrayed Goo Yong Ha's role with all his sneaky ways. When he winks: *insert shallow feelings* ! Other roles were really interesting in many ways.

4-Music : The music was great; it was smooth to listen to it.

5-Rewatch value : Yes it's rewatchable, I can guarantee that people who like rewatching will do it over and over.

6-The ending : It was cool especially the last scene (perverted thoughts)
Anyway, I loved how they showed the characters progress at the end: it was satisfying.

7-My impression : I was having a great time while watching this drama, I had no problems with events since I was hooked ever since the third episode0.
This drama was the main reason that removed my dislike for historical dramas.

8-Overall : Don't be fooled by the historical background because this drama is way too different from any historical that you've seen before.

Watched it last year but still a great drama! I usually get bored & drop dramas very easily, so i can't believe i watched the 52 episodes !

The beginning is kind of slow, so i found myself skipping most of the family oriented scenes & only wanted to see the relationship between the 2main leads. But after (i'd say around the 10th-15th episodes maybe?) those were my favorites scenes & i couldn't miss one. Indeed the interactions between all the characters (there are a lot!) are very fun to watch, the characters are lovable & really grow on you & it depicts a lot of aspects of Korean culture which i found really interesting.

One of the most important thing for me is that there aren't any frustrating or despicable characters. They're all amazing (especially Ah Damo, his father, Gongjoo & Sonja!). Even the "bad" ones (annoying jealous rara for instance) change & become nice. Characters getting on my nerves & whose behaviours are stupid, irrational to the point I wanna murder them are the main reason why i often cannot finish dramas (especially when they are the main leads). So the fact that the only person i hated in there has a bad ending, god i wanted to hug the writers!

On the romance side, great great great! Even though the story is somewhat far-fetched (well, it's a kdrama we're talking about), their relationship feels real & reaaaally passionate at the same time. Completely fell in love with Ah damo. (I usually don't fall that hard for a character haha) Dan Saran is also great & strong-willed ,of course she isn't perfect & can get kind of irritating sometimes (Not to me though)

=> If you want a mix of warm&hilarious; family-oriented scenes (Andreeeeeee) and a passionate romance, wrapped up in a nice setting (Gisaeng;)!), providing you're patient (52 episodes!) this is the drama for you !

PS:
I rated 7 for the story because it's good but kind of typical, it's actually the humor & the amazing acting that made the drama ! Rewatch value: i usually don't rewatch dramas, & especially not this one since it's so long, but i have found myself rewatching some parts here & there , still laughing.

So I really liked this drama up until like the last 2 episodes. The last two episodes weren't bad but they weren't up to level with the first 12. It's more of a teenage drama which probably explains why I liked it so much. The target audience is more of a teenage audience, so older audiences may want to steer clear. Also if you don't like bad endings (not sad... bad) stay away.

Story: The story was a mix of You're Beautiful, Hana Kimi, and Dream High mixed into one unique plot. It was fluffy and cute and it made me desperately wait every week to see the next 2 episodes. I loved the main couple, who were cute and hilarious. They had good chemistry and rapport. I really like the supporting cast as well, they were all really well developed. I wished that the writers had given us some more story on the M2 boys but the amount they gave us wasn't bad. The bad characters in this story were good in the way that you wanted to rip their hair out every time you saw them. The only part I didn't like was how the CEO still liked Team Leader Han after everything she did. I don't like how the writers try and create sympathy for her in the last two episodes after making us hate her for like 12 episodes.

Acting: SUPERB!!!!! I totally fell for the main couple. They had this way of acting where you totally believed that they were in love. The BTS showed them having good chemistry as well. I especially loved the M2 Junior boys. I cannot stress enough how much I loved the actor who played Ji Woo. Even though he looked like the kind of guy who would play a pretty boy who's stuck up, he played the sweet innocent, weak guy really really well. Love Love Love the acting.

Music: I got the M2 Junior song on my iPod, its so good. I like dramas based around music a lot because the music is original and incorporated in a drama. It makes me pay attention to the music rather than tuning it out for the story like in most dramas.

Overall: I gave it an 8, it would have been higher if it wasn't for the crappy ending. It was a cute ending, but everything was left untied and I like my dramas to end in a nice neat bow rather than in the mess this drama ended in.

I dont really get why a lot of people are bashing and hating this drama. It's a TYPICAL KOREAN DRAMA, what do you expect? Anyway, for me, it's an awesome drama and too bad it ends with only 14 episodes.
Give this drama a chance and dont bother what people are saying about the ending. **Read my review!** ;)

One thing I dont get is the significance of the MBLAQ and UKISS people in the show. What? To promote the drama? I think having Mir's sister and Park Yoo Chun's younger brother could already gain people's attention. I like how they didn't use the "Park-Yoo-Chun's-younger-brother-title" on Park Yoo Hwan. There wasn't a sign of JYJ or DBSK. But Go Eun Ah had that "I'm-Mir's-older-sister" title all over her. But nonetheless, the drama was good and it is your typical korean drama, don't expect anything.

The story was that of You're Beautiful's. If you love You're Beautiful, why not love this? It has the same lame ending and the same plot (with more people involved). The acting was acceptable for rookies (almost all of them are rookies, forgive them, accept them, just like how you accepted Suzy on Dream High!)

I really like how they used real Korean celebrities' names like:
Oh In Young = Seo In Young;
Kang Woo Hyun = Infinite's Woo Hyun;
Kim Hyun Seung = B2ST's Hyun Seung;
Park Ki Bum = Super Junior's or SHINee's Ki Bum;
Kang Chang Min = TVXQ's ChangMin;
Ji Seung Yeon = KARA's SeungYeon.
I'm not sure if it's plain coincidence or what but I really like the concept.

They showed bloopers at the end and they're sooo cute! Hahaha! They were funny too. Park Yoo Hwan's cute when he makes mistakes. :">

I love the music! Loving the title song, Stand Up! I actually wish M2 Junior is a real group.

Trivia: M2 Junior's leader, Hyun Seung. Can you guess whose YOUNGER brother he is? FT Island's Song Seung Hyun (1992; 180 cm tall). M2 Junior's leader is born in 1994 and 184-186cm tall! Who'd believe that he's younger? =))))

[extra] ...i think this has been longest review I've written. =))))

I really liked this movies because it has a very surprising ending. This childish "game" turned out to be quite serious. And I think it one of the best korean movies for me. (Not the first one but at the top certainly) It's funny, yet sad before the very ending and it gives you an unexpected solution. I highly recommend it. :)

I wasn’t initially interested in watching this due to my bad experience with “The World that They Live In” (dropped it after 4 episodes) but because I had liked a lot of the dramas On Air’s writer has done (Secret Garden, City Hall, Lovers) I added this to my list although, it wasn’t on my “got to watch anytime” soon list. Then, I started getting more familiar with Lee Bum Soo and wanted to see all his past dramas…

Story- Unexpectedly fascinating! Really the plot isn’t anything flashy but I still found myself glued to the screen from episode 1. The writer did such a great job of showing what it takes for a drama to be made in a way that is informative but not boring whatsoever. I will say the romance in this was quite weak. A lot of the good stuff only happens in the last 2 episodes. And even then the romance between LBS & Kim Ha Neul’s character was kind of disappointing. I mean there was no confession scene and its not definite whether they are a couple at the end. I did like that the loveliness were quite clear and everyone ended up with the right partner. The ending was satisfying.

Cast/Acting- It was perfect. The 4 main actors are veterans so I cant really say anything bad. They all had good chemistry with each other. Like the two female characters hate each other in the beginning so they made you believe they really hated each other. I liked the supporting cast they really added something to the show. I will say that the two main female characters are kind of unlikable at times but you’ll get used to it.

Music- I actually liked a lot of the songs enough to put them on my ipod to listen to every now and then.

Rewatch- I’ll watch this again but not for a few years just because it wasn’t heavy on the romance.

Overall, if you liked the writers past dramas or are a fan of any of the main actors I would definitely recommend On Air.

I love the story it's light and makes me want more... It's really a drama that's worth watching... The cast were also good. I love The songs that they played all through out the drama (I got some LSS with the OST of this drama). It's a crazy thing that I'm still craving for more. I was disappointed that it was only good for 12 episodes... But all in all its a great drama. Hope you'll like it as much as I've enjoyed it.

oh this is my first review ^^ oh it is a shame that in my first review i give 1/10 to this isn't it? i didn't finish the drama but even if they extend this to 30 more ep ill still have the same opinion about it ...
where to start ?xD i first 'from 1st ep to 8th ep" loooved it !! heart it !! like 20/10 !!!! 10 stars !! i was totally in love ..because of the music ..and mblaq xD and because the main actress was actually good or at least better then "go mi nam" this drama gave me a nice feeling a mix of YB and CP and DH //however !!! after few ep it turned into a mess a horrible mix of poor acting skills with a weird storyline that stands on ...nothing !! it was a mess all over the place i couldn't believe that this could happen on a Korean drama i was shocked
i don't want to give spoilers but all i can say is !their reaction to her been a boy is silly !! go to coffee prince for some lessons !! the only good thing was the music i enjoyed it but again at the second half it wasn't abt music it was abt !! well something else i don't noe yet wat it is hhh but yeh !! overall it's very poor totally failed and im not usally harsh on kdrama but im sorry i needed to say the truth
as i said you will probably enjoy or like or accept the first half of it then you ll be disappointed
the music is good
acting needs more and more skills and experience but the main lead is acceptable and with a nice story i think she ll be pretty good she is cute in a good way xD
my last words !! pleas !!! cheball !! i beg you !! do not !ever !!ever compare this to coffee prince or dream high or YRB !! especially not !! coffee prince xD

If you like Mike He, you'll LOVE this drama.

As a Mike He fan, I saw the description and decided to watch this drama.

I absolutely loved. Mike He is really different from his other roles, he gives a cute aura as well aside from the sexyness we all know (*blush*). The actress is totally compatible with him. Overall the cast was well chosen, and the chemistry pretty cool!

The plot is addicting. It makes us want for more and more.
They just messed it up a bit in the last episodes. It was like they threw water at us, viewers. They could be a bit less dramatic, and develop some parts. Also, give us the ending we deserve..

I can say this was a drama that made me fall for Mike He all over again. If it wasn't for the ending episodes(it was pretty cool, and I loved it, but it could have been better), I'd say it was my favorite drama :]
