Disappointing

This drama had so much potential at first.
The cast was perfect, the aesthetic was on point, the teasers were on point, the story seemed interesting...
The execution of all this? Horrible; a complete mess...
32 episodes for nothing. They could have covered all that in 10 episodes....
To be honest, the first 7 episodes were amazing. We could see the author's intention. The climax was building, and the tension too. But just when you're waiting for the drop that will make the vase collapse, all the tension built up transformed into confusion. We have a time jump, a changed man who looks traumatized for a reason that HE INFLICTED ON HIMSELF, so like?!? Immature people who swear they ''love'' each other but can't be together for absolutely no valid reason, but like?!?!
Honestly, to summarize the drama: they had attachment issues because of their parents and had difficulty committing to a relationship....
Very boring, and the action plot that was supposed to be interesting and catchy completely flopped because it made no sense...
So far, the worst work of Song Wei Long and Zhang Jing Yi, who are FANTASTIC actors, but this drama didn't do them justice, and that's what's most disappointing, because they're actors I love seeing on my screen, but this drama was really badly executed

É um bom dorama. A ambientação histórica é muito bem trabalhada e os protagonistas são carismáticos, o que faz com que seja fácil se envolver com a história no início, no entanto, conforme os episódios avançam, a trama começa a acumular tantas informações, reviravoltas e maldições que acaba ficando um pouco confusa.

Achei a premissa principal interessante, mas sinto que ela poderia ter sido mais bem desenvolvida. Em vez de aprofundar o conflito central, o roteiro parece apostar em criar um acontecimento atrás do outro, o que acaba tirando um pouco do impacto da narrativa.

Ainda assim, é um drama que vale a pena assistir e tem seus momentos marcantes. Só ficou a sensação de que tinha potencial para ser muito melhor.

Emotionally attached Mafia Bosses are now everyone's type

WOW.

This drama is genuinely one of the best things that has ever happened to me.

I honestly don't think I'll ever be able to explain coherently how absolutely everything about it took my breath away over and over again, had me silently screaming in my room at 5 a.m and giggling nonstop. This BL made me feel so many more emotions than I ever expected.

And honestly, I wasn't convinced from the start.

Before watching Me & Thee, the only thing I knew was that it was a romance... but also a comedy. I was genuinely worried because Thai BL humor (no offense, I'm obviously not trying to generalize) tends to make me cringe more than anything else, or simply leaves me bored.

Well... not this one.

I genuinely think trying not to smile while watching this drama is physically impossible. My cheeks have never worked this hard. I laughed so much, and I mean ACTUALLY laughed, not just the polite little exhale most dramas get out of me.

And that's mainly thanks to a well-written story and incredibly lovable characters.

M. Thee's eccentric personality contrasts so beautifully with Peach's tenderness that somehow they end up complementing each other perfectly. Their personalities shouldn't work together as well as they do, and yet they absolutely do. Their intertwined destinies don't just bring humor and joy to the story, they also give both characters so much emotional depth.

I absolutely loved how persistent M. Thee was.,Honestly, THANK YOU for finally giving us a character who's actually capable of talking about his feelings. I loved him because, for what feels like the first time ever in a BL, every important question actually gets asked. He leaves no room for misunderstandings because once he falls in love, giving up simply isn't an option.

And Peach is just as lovable. Little by little, he opens his heart and lets M. Thee into what used to be his world but slowly becomes their world.

The cinematography completely caught me off guard. It looks gorgeous. And I want to sincerely thank the glam team because they absolutely understood the assignment. They did an incredible job. I mean... there's no way you can ignore the facecards this cast is serving.

The chemistry between Pond and Phuwin is also absolutely insane. They took my breath away more times than I can count. I genuinely had to pause a few scenes just to regain my composure. The eye contact. The lingering touches. The way every moment between them is wrapped in both tenderness and unbearable tension...

I truly hope they have a very, veeeeery long career ahead of them because their talent left me speechless. And yes, I'm delulu and convinced it's because they're literally made for each other.

As for the ending... I understand why some people criticize it. Sure, you could argue that it feels a little rushed, but this is Theerakit Kian Lee we're talking about. Honestly, I think any more grounded or understated ending would've felt bland in comparison.

Now... were the kids necessary? Absolutely not ---
That's probably the only thing that bothered me. They don't really add much to the story, and they end up taking way more screen time than they needed to. ( ￣＾￣)

Overall, I had an incredible time watching this drama. It became part of my daily routine and brought me so much more comfort than I ever expected.

Stories like this reconnect us with our humanity because every emotion they make us feel reminds us that we're alive. Sure, maybe we're living indirectly through fictional characters... but it's still living !

Being a BL fan is such a beautiful thing. ^^

A lot of dark aura if thats your vibe.

People have their opinions. I really enjoyed this drama bl whatever you would like to call it. Not really much of spoilers but there are a lot of disrespectful ppl on cuz they dont like or fear something they rate it low. Where as there are fans and ppl who do love this show and drama what not. ppl just get mad for any reason.

I enjoyed it. I loved the story, I liked the characters and i think a lot of people loved Lu Feng's character. He has dark aura. he is the red flag.. hes obsessively possessed and madly in love with i forgot whats his face. LOL but its a good drama. Its somethign different, its something dark and if you dont like it then watch your princess bl's.. let us grown ups who are fans or ppl who enjoy the bad boy red flag dramas. i liked it.

NC Galore over substance

The characters in this series have no real purpose. In every episode they either go to location A or location B to have lunch or coffee and pointless conversation. And then they insert location C every once in a while, like a bar (where the most interesting characters get 30 seconds of screentime) or the office of the grumpy father who seems to be the only one to have a proper desk in this house while everyone else is doomed to work in an anatomical nightmare -
the living room. With tiny tablets because the cars were so expensive they couldn't afford better technology. Also, lot's of dry humping. Sweet.

I was exited to see BoatOat again. "My Stubborn" was my guilty pleasure last year. "My Stubborn" had no real plot either but it showed the universal experience of being in a situation-ship with a fckboy who acts like your boyfriend but says he isn't. Men and women around the world can relate to that. But "Knot" should have a proper plot, right? I had high expectations in this co-production of M Flow and One31. So, what happened to the budget? The scene in episode 5 where Ongsa and Nakhin sit in the car looks cheaper than in the 80's. Everytime Phatsa holds a folder with company data and randomly finds huge meaningful information, I feel like I'm watching a theatre play. Who wrote this? Where is the plot? What is this all about? Do we not care? Because sometimes they do the pheromone thing and drop alpha and omega and NC NC NC?

Unfortunately the production team seems to think that as long as they deliver steamy scenes and ABO-lore, the viewers don't care about the lack of story building. The rating for "Knot" may be high but it's sets the bar excruciatingly low.

The actors are the least to blame here. Oat really looks sad when he cries but maybe he actually felt sad because I do too - when I watch "Knot".

Give it a chance

I know that a lot of viewers were disappointed at the beginning of this show and many dropped it. I forced myself to ignore the negative comments because I love Zhang Le He and Wang Churan. I knew the show had to get better (even though I was never really bothered by the things that people were complaining about). It did!! The chemistry between the two main leads is phenomenal. The costuming is jaw dropping. Cinematography is breathtaking. The music is perfect. The storyline is engaging. This is an original story and if you can get past the green screen effect of the first few episodes sticking with it will pay off. One of the complaints originally was the AI introduction to the show which was changed by the time the sixth episode was airing. Don't listen to other people's feedback. Watch the show knowing that it progressively gets better and better and make a decision for yourself based on what you enjoy.

Beer and chicken, anyone?

My ears perks up whenever Seo In Guk is mentioned in relation to a new drama. I still remember his lead role in Shopaholic Louis. I can't say some of his recent dramas are to my taste. This office rom-com seems to tick all the boxes.

The show starts with our FL working her mandatory hours and not one minute more. Her nickname is clock-out fairy. She is smart and competent but she is sick and tired of her abusive and useless supervisor. Her goal is to be as grey as possible during business hours. Her career has effectively stalled and she doesn't care. She is happy to enjoy some beer and chicken at home after work.

Her work life was turned upside down when a manager returns from overseas. His style is controversial. He is hated by his peers because he won't play politics nor lord over his staff.

She really took a leap into the unknown when she decided to join his new task force to integrate AI into home appliances. She thinks she has nothing to lose. How wrong is she!

I won't bore you with the office politics and business shenanigans. Let's just say most of the angst came from that quarter, both within and without the company.

While the business ideas are interesting, it is more a distraction. We are here for our OTP's romance, not smart ovens.

In that regard, the writer-nim didn't make it easy for us. There are lots of push-pulls and stone walling from the FL. As it is customary with this type of office romance, the ML has a cold demeanour, but he is secretly carrying the torch. The ML is a perfect gentleman and gave the FL a lot of space.

The FL spends a long time vacillating. Those eps are probably the weakest. We can see where the show needs to go, but the FL is not playing ball. This can be frustrating as forward moment stalls.

Thankfully, she finally overcame her hesitation and indecision. The show literally turned a new leaf. There are some nice skinship and swoon-y moments. They do make a nice couple. Their chemistry is more cosy than red hot.

Our leads face many challenges after they went public. I'm glad the writer-nim heard my prayers. They were allowed to face them standing shoulder-to-shoulder. This should be the One True Way. Throw the kitchen sink at them by all means. Just let them fight as one and test their commitment. Don't use it as a lame excuse for a sneaky mid show break-up. Amen. 🙏

As I mentioned before, the pacing can be slow. I realise in hindsight the series didn't need to rush about because it only need to go from A -> B instead of being sidetracked by all the filler subplots. This might be a deal breaker for you. I won't judge.

Once I accept our leads are not going to rush things, it becomes a more relaxed watch. This actually contrasted with the 2CP which is a noona romance. The second couple's romance is sweet and heartfelt, but definitely more volatile. I ship them unreservedly as well.

Technically, the parents of the FL is the 3CP. They bicker like old couples. The wife kept asking for a divorce. Their last scene together is chef's kiss. Age did not weary them.

Now the nitty gritty bits. Production value is on par. OST is easy listening. Re-watch of the whole show is unlikely, but a highlight reel would not be a chore.

In the end, I like this show. There were shaky moments. It did win me back over time. It is a satisfying watch. Just like beer and chicken after a long day at the office. Cheers!

Potencial desperdiçado

"Os sentimentos costumam surgir por impulso. Eles não seguem lógica alguma e não podem ser explicados. Mas o tempo é diferente. O tempo tem o próprio peso. É ele quem separa o que é verdadeiro do que é falso, o que é vazio do que é real. No fim, só o tempo consegue distinguir tudo."

Deep In apresenta duas histórias em uma só. De um lado, Zhang Zhun, um ator que nunca conseguiu um papel de prestígio e que busca, pela última vez, o reconhecimento que sempre sonhou. Do outro, Zhen Xin, um ator já consolidado na indústria, vencedor do prêmio de melhor ator e dono de uma base sólida de fãs. Ambos são escalados para interpretar os protagonistas de um filme do gênero boys love. Como um casal na trama, eles precisam aprender como funciona um relacionamento entre dois homens, mas, à medida que o tempo passa, a linha tênue entre atuação e vida real vai ficando cada vez mais fina.

Por outro lado, temos Gao Zhun, personagem interpretado por Zhang Zhun. Gao Zhun é um artista que carrega um trauma profundo e extremamente pesado consigo. Desde então, ele não consegue seguir em frente com a própria vida e, por conselho da esposa, decide procurar ajuda na terapia. Fang Chi, personagem de Zhen Xin, é o psicólogo de Gao Zhun e, assim como na "vida real", a linha que separa a relação profissional dos dois vai ficando cada vez mais torta.

Eu queria TANTO elogiar essa série. Queria muito que a minha nota fosse lá nas alturas, até porque eu simplesmente amei os atores 😭!! Ollie e Shuyuan são tão fofos e carismáticos que acabei desenvolvendo um carinho gigantesco por eles. Mas quem disse que a trama dessa série ajuda em alguma coisa???? Eu torci MUITO para os episódios ficarem melhores, torci de verdade pela evolução do relacionamento entre Fang Chi e Gao Zhun e, ao mesmo tempo, agradecia aos céus por eles fazerem parte de uma história fictícia... hahaha...

Eu me decepcionei tanto com esse drama! A Bella sabe muito bem, meu deus, como sabe. Porém, como uma garota de coração partido, vou escrever separadamente sobre o que achei de cada uma das histórias. Acompanhem.

¹ Zhang Zhun e Zhen Xin:

Zhang Zhun é um personagem tão profundo quanto a poça de água que se forma perto do ralo do chuveiro. Ele simplesmente não reage e, quando reage, é apenas no final do drama, quando decide terminar com Zhen Xin. Sinceramente, dentre todos os homens principais dessa série, ele é o mais "mais ou menos". Temos um personagem que, em tese, deveria ser a vítima de Zhen Xin: aquele que foi usado para ensaiar cenas do roteiro que só deveriam acontecer diante das câmeras, a vítima que foi manipulada e que aparentemente só existe para atender aos desejos do outro. Mas é só isso. Ele é isso e nada além.

Eu queria muito que a autora da novel tivesse dado um mínimo de empoderamento para esse menino. Foi criado por uma mulher, tem até noiva, mas o empoderamento ficou em casa. Ele não sabe dizer "não", não coloca limites e simplesmente aceita tudo calado. Quando reclama — e com razão —, dois minutos depois já perdoou. Zhang Zhun, homem... vamos nos valorizar? Vamos deixar de ser uma pedra?

Zhen Xin, ao contrário de Zhang Zhun, tem uma piscina um pouco maior e mais profunda. Ele também não tem exatamente um "porquê", mas pelo menos possui uma personalidade. Zhen Xin não é uma pessoa ruim, porém consegue moldar Zhang Zhun à própria vontade com muita facilidade, e isso é extremamente problemático quando sabemos que os sentimentos dele começaram pelo desejo e nada mais. Ele é obstinado e se mostra disposto a largar tudo para ficar com o homem que ama, mas a que custo, quando o relacionamento já começou completamente errado?

Ele consegue ser odiável e amável ao mesmo tempo. É extremamente fofo e carinhoso com Zhang Zhun à medida que o relacionamento deles evolui, mas isso vive em conflito com tudo o que aconteceu no início da "amizade" deles — se é que aquilo pode ser chamado de amizade.
É o mesmo homem que soltou a frase: "Eu não consegui me controlar". Sim. E eu quis dar um soco na autora por causa disso. Sabe? Acho que é um dom conseguir piorar a série a cada episódio.

Zhen Xin e Zhang Zhun passam a dividir o mesmo quarto de hotel por quinze dias, a pedido do diretor, antes das filmagens começarem. A partir daí, o relacionamento deles escala de uma forma muito rápida. Infelizmente, os primeiros episódios conseguem ser problemáticos de TODAS as formas possíveis.
Depois disso, porém, eles genuinamente se tornam um casal "saudável." Traindo as namoradas? Sim. Não passo pano. Mas também estavam se aceitando, se descobrindo e entendendo, pela primeira vez, o que era amar outro homem.

Minha cena favorita, definitivamente, é a da confissão. Quando Zhen Xin sacrifica o próprio estômago para comer a comida apimentada de que Zhang Zhun tanto gosta e anda 472 passos atrás dele. Quando finalmente o encontra, dessa vez é Zhang Zhun quem dá o último passo em direção a Zhen Xin e o beija.

Por mim, a série poderia acabar ali. Dane-se as tramas secundárias. Foi lindo, verdadeiramente lindo. Foi a primeira vez que os dois falaram com sinceridade um com o outro, expressaram e admitiram o que sentiam.

Senti que a separação deles no último episódio foi muito necessária, mas também muito mal explorada. Eu queria acompanhar a evolução dos sentimentos e das percepções de cada um em relação ao outro, mas não ganhamos nem o fio da gaita. O final deles foi apressado e meio viajado. Aí veio o plot final, tudo fez sentido e eu quis chorar.

De raiva.

² Gao Zhun e Fang Chi:

"Depois que eu o conheci, eu finalmente aprendi o que é o amor. Não é jantar, fazer compras ou ir ao cinema. É uma questão de vida ou morte. É de partir o coração."
Aqui eu vou ser mais breve porque entramos em um assunto sensível. É território Chernobyl.

Gao Zhun é... complicado. Temos um personagem absurdamente traumatizado, que convive constantemente com crises de pânico, não tem vida social e apresenta ideação suicida, mas que, AO MESMO TEMPO, também acaba agindo de forma manipuladora. Não vou me aprofundar nesse ponto porque é um tópico extremamente delicado e cheio de gatilhos, mas a forma como o trauma de Gao Zhun foi apresentada no início da trama realmente me chamou a atenção. Ele foi profundamente afetado pelo que viveu e, num primeiro momento, achei que a série faria uma ótima representação de vítimas de violência sexual, especificamente de homens adultos, que muitas vezes sentem vergonha de denunciar o ocorrido e reprimem tudo até simplesmente não conseguirem mais suportar.

Com uma premissa dessas, você imagina que a série vai tratar esse tema com maturidade. E ela até tentou. Mas aí chegou aquele episódio maldito — e, dali em diante, foi só ladeira abaixo.

Fang Chi... ah, Fang Chi. Quem é Fang Chi além de um psicólogo? Não sabemos. Do início ao fim da série, o personagem praticamente não recebe desenvolvimento. A função dele é existir para ser o médico e, depois, o parceiro romântico de Gao Zhun.

O relacionamento desses dois é de sangrar os olhos do início ao fim. Principalmente no fim. Foca no fim!!

Eu não faço ideia do que passava na cabeça do Fang Chi para fazer aquelas perguntas extremamente saudáveis — para não dizer o contrário. E também definitivamente não sei o que se passava na cabeça do Gao Zhun para achar que a solução de todos os problemas era dormir com o próprio psicólogo, fazer AQUILO dentro do carro (eu pulei essa cena, meu deus, que negócio desconfortável) e transformar uma relação que deveria ser estritamente profissional em um possível romance.

Só para deixar claro: Fang Chi também não é flor que se cheire. Eu sinceramente nem consegui entender quem começou as investidas problemáticas, mas é aquilo... doido com doido deve dar certo, né?

Enfim, é isso.

Após os créditos, temos uma cena extra em um escritório, na qual Fang Chi e Gao Zhun discutem um livro escrito por um amigo deles chamado Tong, inspirado na história dos dois. Ou seja, pelo que eu entendi, Zhang Zhun e Zhen Xin são personagens criados por Tong com base em Fang Chi e Gao Zhun. Dentro desse mesmo livro, ele teria inserido a história verdadeira dos dois, mas apresentada como uma encenação.
Mas também vi muita gente dizendo que as duas histórias seriam reais, apenas acontecendo em universos diferentes. Então sei lá 😃.

Só sei que eu terminei essa série triste. Muito triste.

No fim das contas, Deep In é uma série que tinha tudo para dar certo, mas parece fazer questão de desperdiçar o próprio potencial. O elenco é extremamente carismático, a direção consegue entregar cenas bonitas e as duas histórias partem de premissas que, nas mãos certas, poderiam render um drama memorável. Em vez disso, a série escolhe desenvolver relacionamentos problemáticos, apressar momentos importantes e entregar um plot final que mais me confundiu do que me surpreendeu.

Eu queria muito ter amado Deep In. Torci por ela até o último episódio, porque enxergava potencial em praticamente tudo o que ela apresentava. Mas potencial, sozinho, não sustenta uma história.

love it. will never watch again.

I never write reviews here, but this was so good I had to make an exception. It took me a really long time to finally sit down and watch this. The first time i pressed play i couldn’t get past the first twenty minutes so i left it there for weeks before i finally sat down and gave it another chance. The second i did i was immediately immersed in it. This is the first time in who knows how long that a drama managed to break my heart like this, and heal it all at the same time. Almost every single episode had me crying.

I also cannot compliment the acting enough, Park Bo Gum is truly a master at playing a man hopelessly in love. The only other drama I’ve seen IU in didn’t really give me a good impression, this changed my
mind. Her real and raw portrayal of both the happiness and the sadness during this entire drama was excellent.

Gwan Sik as a character set the standard very very high, not only as a partner but as a parent. Ae Sun was such a realistic portrayal of so so so many women I know, who had dreams and goals for themselves, but had to push them away in order to take care of their family. I was so glad that in the end she got her dream to come true. As for their children, I think a lot of people who watched this drama saw a reflection of their own behavior towards their parents (I know I did).

this is a masterpiece, but I don’t think I’ll ever have the guts to watch it again.

Beautiful love, bad French accents.

This drama follows Thee and Rati's love story in a time and place where their love is not accepted. Their chemistry is very strong, and Thee treats Rati like a beautiful flower. Honestly the two are very charming and had many fun moments as well. Their kisses were quite flat, and definitely could have been a lot more emotional or intense.

The length of the drama is a bit too long for my liking, 6 or 8 episodes would have been enough for a strong story. The story revolves around France and Siam, and Rati has to teach French to people in Siam. Unfortunately, everyone's French accent is terrible and so is Rati's. It would have been better if someone did a voice-over for Rati's French dialogue since it took me out of the experience.

Mek and Dech are a nice addition, and they were much cuter than I had expected. Their intimate scenes were strong albeit a bit short.

Shocking outcome

Just finished this movie and wow I was shocked I went into this with no expectations whatsoever I only watched as I’m a fan of Zhang Zifeng and wanted to tune into her work. This movie shocked me to my core never in my life could I have predicted the way this movie was going.

I saw many people talking about a gl subplot and I will say it was slightly there but to me It felt more like finally finding someone to connect with for Jiang Ning. Zhang Zifeng and Eva Du did a stellar job portraying this the mental anguish Jiang Ning was going through becuase of Zhong Ling’s addition to her life was very well portrayed by Zhang Zifeng and I will say in some scenes Eva Du will really get under skin but at times you will feel very bad for her. this was the first time I watched anything with Ma Yili and I think she did very well depicting the difference in how a coach acts and a mother acts.

This movie may seem like your typical East Asian Mother-Daughter dynamic but I assure you it is more than that. Her mom being her coach was a really nice touch to the movie as we how much being coached by her mom affected Jiang Ning and her attitude towards the sport. But showing the slight difference in their dynamic when they are mother daughter showed why she had some sort of guilt and compassion towards her mother.

I can’t really say much as that would be a spoiler but overall I really really recommend this to anyone who is hesitant to watch i guarantee it will be worth your time.

Very engaging

I truly don't get how this movie is rated only a 7.6. This was amazing. The plot twists, the skating scenes, everything was just beautiful. If you're contemplating watching this movie and are put off by the rating, I say to just watch it and form your own opinion.
I've recently become a fan of Zhang Zifeng, so I've been going on a run of watching her dramas/movies, and I have to say she truly deserves the title of being one of the best post-00 actresses. She is just so dedicated to her craft. You would not believe she learned skating in just a few months for this movie cause shes just so amazing at it. This is my first watch of any of Ma Yili and Eva Du's work, and they're just as amazing.
From the coloring to the vibes to the amazing plot, this movie is a straight 10/10 for me.

Compelling. Prepare for binge watching

The series draws you in right from the start.
Your eyebrows will be raised before the opening credits are starting.
It serves a compelling story about the ugly side of the entertainment business combined with a great OST (the intro song slapped. No skipping on my part 😁), good cinematography and a cast full of face cards, who displayed the necessary acting skills.
So far, so good. All in all one of the better Thai dramas out there, and definitely worthwhile to watch.

But I had my grievances with some story parts, too. So I need to rant a little.

Sky's camera phobia.
His trauma response and how it got treated literally and figuratively didn't make much sense in my eyes.
He got a contract with Dreams, but both parties didn't pursue a therapy option right from the bat to broaden his prospects and to increase his market value? Really?!
Then Sun comes along, recommends it and without further ado Sky is off to therapy and his trauma gets treated. Voila.
Atp I expected at least something along the lines like "tried therapy before, didn't work" or some other explanation for Sky's untreated trauma response.
Nope.

The payback/revenge agenda of both MCs.
Got multiple times mentioned throughout the show, but felt more like lip service with each new episode than setting things up to reach that goal.
It might make sense for Sun's character development from guilt ridden self punishment to a more positive mindset, but it fell flat for Jay's arc.
After all the revenge talk at the beginning, which built up our expectations as viewers - how it got executed in the finale felt anticlimactic. Like the promise of (at least small) fireworks, but getting handed some sparklers instead.

Aside from the too thinly fleshed out revenge plot did the story progress at a good pace until the last episode.
Sadly here the writing encountered some bumps in the road.
The revenge execution felt too much like a hastily last minute arranged strategy, based solely on legal technicalities. For viewers less enjoyable and satisfying than a good right hook.
How the villains got punished left me regarding the director and Sunny with mixed feelings too.
The director, because it felt too out of left field. A writer's cop out.
And Sunny - he was a despicable and vile character. His actions deserved a hard punishment. But is to violent r*pe him, concealed as livestreaming content, the right way? Tbh, I have no answer to that question.

While these are the main reasons, why I rate this drama only 8,5/10, despite the fact, that I liked it A LOT, I want to point out some positive things before ending my ramblings.

* The rooftop scene, when Sun acted the suicide scene purely based on his own interpretation. For me one of the most impactful moments of the show. It told us so much about his mindset.
* The small makeshift family of Sun, Sky and the manager. Our likable underdogs. I rooted for success for each of them.
* The romance. At the beginning I was on the fence, because of how Jay enforced some kisses. But after a while it became obvious, that these two had their own special dynamic going, which was working for both sides. The well made NC scenes were telling in that regard.
* How Sun's acting career was written for the final send off: a small supportive role as starting point for him as an actor instead of instant leading role in a major project.
* Boss as photographer. Tyvm. 😁 😘

Definitely a show to watch. Fully recommended from my side despite some shortcomings.
