this was a HUGE step up from pitbabe

i still love pitbabe but it eventually lacked a sort of something but GBYFD never bored me!! it always kept me on the hook and i always was jumping to the next episode. their acting was amazing and they were able to portray every emotion. pavel's acting especially made me cry with his sister (character) and the final ep. the story definitely had a stronger backbone than pit babe, although i did get lost on the whole relative thing and in the end forgot everything but i was still gripped!! pavelpooh will never bore me 💚

okay, i kind of feel like i need to say they were let down here by the way the story then turned. i was super invested with the storyline at first. it was serious and eerie and supernatural - all the things i enjoy from time to time!! however, as it went on, the story started drifting towards the romance department and essentially forgot about the story and decided to throw a bunch of nonsense at it. i was super confused when bom was revealed as the killer AND related to thup - like what?? they never even explored that storyline anyway. why did atikhun specifically need thup for the ritual if it could've just been anybody born on saturday. the premise and idea of it is so so good and i HEAVILY f'ed with it up until around the time King's dad started getting involved and it all just seeped through cracks and eventually became romance.
i still appreciate the acting of all the actors and i think they did an amazing job!! i became connected to the characters.

its a shame that in the end the plot was a whole bunch of nonsense but i will never say i didn't enjoy the acting! i loved them so much, give them back 💚

Do NOT Watch

The first 3-4 episodes were actually quite enjoyable, especially the comedy. Unfortunately, that's where all the good parts ended. As the story progressed, it kept creating more plot holes and inconsistencies instead of building a compelling narrative.

Great Cast, but terrible writing. It felt like one of those shows that hooks viewers with strong opening episodes, only to completely lose direction afterward. Lately, I've noticed this trend in several K-dramas - great beginnings followed by a steep decline in quality. It almost feels like bait, and I regret spending my time on this one.

Time for a break from K-dramas🙄

Not every drama needs ROMANCE and it's OKAY

See, not every drama leads have to end up together or develop a romance arc .
Friendship is sufficient enough , I loved the relationship between the four people when they sat down and worked on the case , a shame we didn't get the group scenes so much .
The old man needed more love; come on, he did ALOT for dong baek
HEHE that junior guy who had a crush on Superintendent Han would make a nice couple.
Also, the detective already had someone he loved in the past

About the story:
It was trackable at first but then after ep 10 THEY KEPT ADDING CHARACTERSSS , so hard to keep track of who is who , too many names . But still I managed to, and the killer was someone I didn't think of so it was GOOD
and NGL I am with the eraser , our justice system is shit and favours the rich people who get away with every horrible thing and the poor has to suffer.

The World of Doors I Never Wanted to Leave!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Spirealm is yet another 10/10 masterpiece from China. Every once in a while, a show comes along that completely pulls you into its world, and this is one of them.

The cast and the entire production team did an exceptional job bringing the novel to life. Every performance feels authentic, the storytelling keeps you invested, and the visuals are absolutely stunning. But what truly stands out is the chemistry between the leads. It's so natural and emotionally charged that these bromance dramas honestly give me more butterflies than many BLs. There's just something irresistible about forbidden love, and this show delivers it perfectly.

I loved everything about it. It honestly deserves so much more recognition. It pains me that not enough people are talking about it. If you haven't watched The Spirealm yet, please give it a chance. You won't regret it.

Still falls onto generic drama.

I watched this drama and somehow FL was quite weaker and more humane than first version. While First version shows Japanese Heroine optimistic style FL this one still leans on to generic weak duanju FL while still possessing ambitious studious girl. FL was more weak heart than first version because she stills believe her mom and evil brothers. This drama dont show redemption to FL family which make me unsatisfied. Wang Qian acting stills decent but somehow she is not memorable which is make me forgetting i had watch other Lim Siwang version more than Zhang Yinfei version.

Recommended if you are fans of actress.

A Clay Doll Beside Jasmine’s Bloom

In the opening episodes of The First Jasmine, the female lead shines with vibrancy and emotional depth, commanding the screen with her layered performance. Unfortunately, the male lead feels more like a blank canvas than a character. His lack of expressiveness—stiff body language, flat delivery, and a face that rarely betrays emotion—leaves viewers guessing at his inner world rather than being drawn into it.

Instead of coming across as stoic or mysterious, he risks fading into the background, overshadowed by the female lead’s energy. This imbalance makes the early episodes feel uneven, as the audience is left searching for signs of life in a character who should be central to the story.

The drama could have benefited from a male lead who conveyed subtle intensity or quiet vulnerability, but as it stands, he resembles a clay doll—present, but not alive.

Ruined momentum

Discovering this series and hearing Boy Sompob's voice right from the start felt magical. I really liked how it began. It gave us that fluffy, green-flag top that was impossible to resist. And can we talk about the cast? The main couple, the second couple... honestly, everyone was handsome!

However, somewhere in the middle, NC scenes started becoming a major part of the series. Again, I don't hate NC scenes, but I feel they should happen at the right timing. As for the plot, the blackmailing, kidnapping, and all that, it just felt a little off for me. I'm sorry. The characters also didn't seem to have much development. Until the very end, they kept dragging themselves around with the same toxic traits. Lol.

Last but not least, that dance they were practicing. I swear they were practicing the same dance throughout the entire series. 😂

One of my favorite Japanese dramas growing up

I just wanted to say that this Japanese drama was the best one I ever watched as a kid, I grew up watching a lot of Japanese dramas like Ikebukuro west gate park, Gokusen, 2nd house, Gekka no Kishi, Samurai cat and Kisarazu cats eye. I have rewatched Tiger and dragon as many times as I can remember and all I have to say was from the time I grew up watching this Japanese drama till rewatching it now as a adult was probably one of the best things I have ever done and let me tell you the ending got me so good I was bawling at the end of the episode!! I grew up watching a lot of well known Japanese actors on TV such as Tomoya Nagase, Junichi okada and Kazuki Kitamura. I found out about tiger and dragon through growing up with Jpop and other genres of Japanese music. as soon as I found out about Junichi Okada from V6 and Tomoya Nagase from the pop group Tokio both starring in tiger and dragon little me back in 2007 said "im defiantly going to watch this Jdrama" when I watched the first episode back in 2007 I immediately fell in love with the acting, storytelling and of course the music!! when I heard Utao Utao for the first time by V6 I couldn't stop playing it on my CD player since the song was and still is to this day super catchy!! Everything about this Japanese drama will always hold a special place in my heart and I highly recommend checking out Junichi Okada's Tomoya Nagase's and Kazuki kitamuras other Japanese dramas they starred in!!

Pretty standard romance

I enjoyed watching this. I haven't seen a lot of straight Thai romances, but this one seems to follow the same formula as other Asian dramas. I don't mind that though. The beginning of the show seemed to follow Mirin a bit more where the later episodes seemed to follow Vee more and I liked that we got both. I liked the story overall too. Nothing was drawn out in my opinion which I liked a lot. I thought it wrapped up pretty good too. I didn't really like that Chanon's mom ended up as the CEO, but I get why they did that.

I loved Vee as a character a lot. He was really funny and so caring. I loved seeing how much he'd do if it meant his love ones were happy. I liked seeing his story with his mother too, especially once he found her. I love Dew so much (he's the reason I watched this in the first place).
I liked Mirin for the most part as well. She annoyed me in some moments, but I liked her overall. Her actress did a pretty good job too for the most part.
I liked the two of them together as well. I thought they brought different sides of each other out which was nice to see. They had so many cute moments together that made them feel like a realistic couple.
I didn't trust Chanon's vibes right off the bat, so I wasn't shocked when he starting being shitty. I just never got good vibes from him.
Thanya was obviously garbage and I didn't like her one bit. Everything I've seen her actress in she has been awful so props to the actress for playing that so well. I liked Ewes a lot, she was a good character.
Manit and Maew Kwak were such useless characters until they did the thing for Thanya. I genuinely think they weren't needed at all. They could've had that story still but just had it be two nameless characters and I think it would've been the exact same. It was nice seeing Pepper and JJ, but I stand by what I said.

It's not long and it's pretty enjoyable so I would recommend!

This Manhwa should never got Live Action

I will talk about this drama as an avid followers of the manhwa from season 1 until the end and the Live action as expected will be watered down their 18++ contents. Personally i am okay with Nagyum cast but for Seungho it was letdown for me and his acting was not convinced as wild Seungho. The chemistry between the leads was almost non-exist and obviously industrial saccharin. they still using camera trick for kissing scene even their pecking was not convinced me. The plot was quite disjointed since they crammed all the season into one drama and it was obivously on-budget drama. As someone who follows the manhwa, this is quite disaster and sometimes few BL manhwa should stays as manhwa.

If stupidity could kill....

This drama has only one message.... Don't make stupid friends. Not all people are smart. Some are dumb enough to do the exact same things even after they saw what happened to others when they followed the same route!

Its just another bunch of teens who had to go through a life and death situation against something big (this time a cursed app) and some of them made it out alive, some didn’t. A Very common troupe. Usually, in such type of stories, some dumb friend starts the thing and others faces the consequences.... But here, all of them were in a competition, who can be dumber than the other one.

I mean...when the story starts, the app got introduced, we all could assume one of them was gonna die, which would create the shock that will lead to the mystery. And exactly that happens, the silliest, goofiest friend in the group,Hyung Wook finds the app, makes a wish, his wish got fulfilled and he died in a very gruesome way. Ok,the mystery begins. Meanwhile, our male lead also made a wish (who actually didn’t know anything about the curse), that eventually lead him to coma. Ok,it was also necessary for the plot.

But oh my god....I was about to bang my head against the wall when our supposedly smart female lead, who is actually carrying a survivors guilt since her childhood, also made a wish to save her bf... Like girl, there could be thousand possible ways to do that instead of killing yourself???? Okay then our second male lead, who's sister is very conveniently a shaman, finds a way to break the curse temporarily..... But guess what our good boy,the smartest, logical one in the group was gonna do? Exactly, he was also going to make a wish, for God knows why.. If it wasn’t stopped by his brother in law.
Wait,it doesn’t stop there. One of our antagonist,Na Ri,who later revealed to be the cause of Hyung wook's death....also made a drunk wish for his death, even though she was told not to.....only cause she doesn’t like him. I mean...it could be some better reason, idk which childhood friend could make a wish for her friend to die so easily just beacause she doesn’t like his silly antics. And later she became the most pathetic, irritating, annoying girl ever for guess what??? She also has a crush on our male lead and she can let everyone else die for that and the evil spirit used that easily against her.
And in the epilogue, there was another dumb boy who knew the story behind the app, what happened to his own friend....did the same thing.
I guess it was Geonwoo..who actually saved all of them by making one, only one smart move in the entire drama towards the end by using his brain.

Then starts another circle of stupidity, that is the origin story of the curse. Its had so much potential to make make the origin some real horror story, something brutal, eerie, tha makes you shiever. But nope, they had to make it some teen revenge kinda story, where two besties ends up in fight and one putting curse on another. Still don't understand why she had to die in such a horrible way when she was bullied only once by her so called bestie, this plot could be explored more deeper to give it some logic. And the other shaman girl...she was ashamed of her mother and later created scene with her bestie....not even asking once what happened, why was she in her house, what happened to her mother, what was she putting in her jacket...I mean its understandable she didn’t like her mother or her bestie frequenting her house....but what kind of friend let her friend of years be treated like that by her male friends in front of everyone even without asking anything just because she was with her mother???? The logic is not there. The origin story was very weak, some teen angst without any strong base.

There were lots of qs unanswered. What happened to Nari? Why everyone mourned for Hyung Wook but not Nari? What was the backstory of Haetsal? Why was she trapped in the house? Whats with that snake? Why there was no police involved? Where were the parents? How did Si Won's father die? What was the reason of Siwon also putting curse when the persons she was angry with were already dead? Why was the phone left by police in that Hye Ryeong suicide place? What happened in the end with Bang wol's eyes, how could he suddenly see sthe spirits? What was that epilogue? Was it for season 2? Also why was the mysterious deaths of three students in the same night from same school wasnt a popular story? Why nobody knows them,at least the names?

The characters were also not well written.Apparently they were friends since childhood, but no such connection was seen. Nari had problems with probably all of them,it was very evident. The friendship wasn’t very friendshiping, there were tensions, problems, inner conflicts which they intended to show as something very sweet, but it was not.Characters were very one dimensional most of the time.

And how many gallons of blood they used? Everything was so bloody....gory,sometimes it became unbearable to watch.

Well not everything was stupid, there were some parts that were actually enjoyable. Bang wol ruled the show with his humour yet very much commanding presence. He was fantastic throughout the whole show. I also liked "no nonsense only action" Haetsal and actually want a spinoff with two of them. Their story would be very interesting to watch.

Overall,I was about to give it 6 but one extra point for Bangwol,he really stole the show.
