Breaking the lane of the monotonous plot and the melodramatic stories of the ongoing kdramas this one had made its way to the top list of my kdramas. Girls generation 1979 doesn't just focuses on the romance b/w the leads but also the plight of the women in the 70s.

Though the leads, male female both are quite young but they bring justice to the role that they portrayed in the drama. It's a short drama of only 8 episode but it will make you witness the roller coaster journey of love, infatuation, betrayal and true friendship. It will make you smile and cry at same time. It was worth watching and I hope the writers keeps making such amazing dramas. Even though it was a short of only 8 episodes, it doesn't wrap everything in a haste rather it focuses on life of every character involved in the drama and end them beautifully. Everything from the plot to the acting and the soundtrack was beautifully done and  will give you the feels of 70s. Worth watching!

I am one of the biggest fans of Tokyo Ghoul as both manga and an anime. The truth is I was expecting that this film would be horrible and worst similar to Attack on Titan but I am totally wrong. This film still not perfect but the story pace and the acting absolutely great. This film is adapted the first three volumes of the manga and writer pick the important part without changing the plot of the manga.

For the acting, I seriously want to give a standing ovation to the main cast (Masataka Kubota) for his excellent acting and perfectly portrayed as Kaneki Ken. Why I said that he is perfect as Kaneki because every scene that has Kaneki in it, I can feel the main character's pain, sad, happy, nervous.  For those who still not read the manga yet, Kaneki Ken is such a complicated and tragic character yet he brilliantly conveys his emotion as Kaneki Ken who got confused with his own body and the struggles to keep his humanity as a half-ghoul, half human. The other casts also played their character really well.
What makes this film not perfect is the CG. The CG of Kakugan seriously looks great but the CG of Kagune, for some reason there's a time that the Kagune effects look a bit awkward but don't worry, it's not a big deal.

Overall, I enjoyed every part in this movie. Since the first movie already good, I have a high expectation for the sequel and hope they will have more budget for the next film so the CGI will look more awesome and the viewers will more enjoy watching the film.

For all fans of Tokyo Ghoul, it is official that Tokyo Ghoul is getting the third anime series in 2018 for the adaptation of TOKYO GHOUL:RE.

I was a bit apprehensive when coming across this drama because I heard it was a prequel to Bad Romance and I read mixed reviews from fans regarding that drama. But the minute I hit the play button for the first episode of Together With Me I was immediately hooked! Together With Me is not the typical college BL as it pushes the envelope in what is normally seen in previously released BL. For once, there are actually OPENLY GAY CHARACTERS. Most BL's go for the "I'm not gay, I'm just in love with only you" explanation. But I am happy to see that Thai BL dramas are evolving and more dramas are being produced with characters that raise awareness of what sexuality is (ie. Gay Ok Bangkok, Diary of Tootsie, etc) and the struggles those characters face for being LGBT+. It also shows how having a good support system, like friends/family, can play a major role in your life and decision making.

STORY:
For the most part, I wouldn't say that the overall plot of Together With Me is new or groundbreaking. What I will say is that the way the writing explores how the characters interact and solve problems throughout the show is what makes this series so amazing. The story starts with the two main characters, Korn and Knock, and how they go through struggles both environmentally, socially, and emotionally to finally come together as a couple. Also a main character, Yihwa, is Korn's best friend and is a strong supporter of Korn and Knocks relationship. The 3 main cast members are joined by Fai, Farm, and Phu who are all neighbors in the same dorm. The drama does a great job of focusing on Korn and Knock, but also focuses on the side stories of the other cast members. This is done extremely well as the writers tackle issues such as homophobia, family ties, ageism, monogamy, vanity, and promiscuity. Each of these issues are divided evenly (and sometimes shared) with most of the cast, with the exception of Yihwa's character being written in the story for more of emotional support and as an ally. I gave the story the score of 9 only because I felt that at times it was a bit inconsistent or the timing was rushed in 2 or 3 episodes. I also felt that they rushed Farm's development and almost had no development for Fai's character at all (here's hoping for another season). I also enjoyed the supporting characters of Bright and Kavi who were Farm's and Phu's love interests respectively. Farm and Bright's story in particular was left open-ended, and I hope that this series will have another season just so we can have closure with that story-line.

ACTING:
I have to say that I was BLOWN AWAY by all of the actors in this drama. They really gave so much life and layers to their respective characters! Especially Yihwa who always steals the screen with her charisma and engaging personality. But If I had to pick a standout character out of the 3 mains I would  definitely give all the praise to Korn's character (Played by Max). His character took every scene and made you feel every moment as it were really happening. Whether it was a happy, sad, or sensual scene... Korn's character had you believing every moment. Knocks character was also really well acted, and Knock's intimate scenes with Korn are OUT OF THIS WORLD! If these actors aren't LGBT+ in real life they sure had me fooled! One of the reasons I say this drama is leaps and bounds above other college-setting Thai BL dramas is because of the convincing and extremely well-choreographed sex scenes, Like WOW!!! If you want a drama that quenches you boyxboy thirst, has a good plot, and amazing acting... Together With Me is it for sure! All of the other cast members give amazing performances. Especially Farm's character who does a heart-wrenching job at playing a cute, innocent small-town boy who is in love and exploring his sexuality.

MUSIC:
All the music in this drama was really good! It went well with all of the scenes and I may even want to download the soundtrack if I find out how.

REWATCH VALUE:
This drama is for sure and an easy rewatch for me. I have fallen head over heals for KornKnock and I honestly want to see more of them! Their chemistry is just so amazing and I really hope this series  gains a big following so we can get another well-deserved and much needed followup season!

OVERALL:
This is series is a MUST WATCH for all BL lovers. It hits all the right spots and leaves you wanting more! I highly recommend it and I promise that you'll be hooked!

"The  Survival Family" is far from becoming a classic post-apocalyptic  post-war movie disaster, the story takes on the character of a strange  but genial movie at the same time. The family, driven by frustration and internal hostility, decides to  leave the megalopolis to reach the provincial towns, exactly where the  head of the family lives, because it seems that everything works there.
The  Suzuki family, repatriated in the Middle Ages where the exchange law  applies, gets four bicycles and begins the long voyage to Kagoshima by  the sea, with roads populated by refugees who are struggling hard to  walk and survive in chaos uncontrolled by the lack of electricity. "The Survival Family" tells the whole family journey but it is also an  opportunity not only to achieve salvation but also to strengthen weak  family ties.
Undoubtedly,  the point of departure of the narrative is interesting, we think for a  moment that really happens in such a situation anywhere in the world,  and also Yaguchi's choice to impress the movie that relies on comedy  deserves applause. What  frustrates him a little is that he is slow but inexorably back in good  tones of history, leaving aside the irony that would have given more  force and mass to the story. The journey as a rediscovery of oneself and the importance of family  ties that undergo a metamorphosis of the characters that, in the end,  has all the other face to the beginning is, a fundamental aspect of the
of the ecological theme, the return to a life simpler than that of the metropolis.
As  a whole, "Survival Family" is a movie that allows you to watch, it also  has moments of brilliant intelligence in popular jobs that appeal to  the general public, but the most tangible feeling is honest work without  infamy and no compliments but it is very worthwhile.

Charming and lively youth comedy set in a music school where classical Chinese music becomes a fun competitive battle.
A  town somewhere in China, Chen Jing, sophomore Chinese Music at Zhongxia  Academy of Music's Afiliative High School, sees the handsome classical  music student Wang Wen practicing on the piano and immediately falls in  love with him ... The film goes far beyond the novel, it teaches about Chinese music and  proper classical music in a rather energetic, rather entertaining, but  fun, youthful comedy driven by an animated performance by TV actress Xu  Lu.
The  film sustains its energy from a mass of small details and quirky ideas,  beginning with the two music departments being so hostile to each other  that they are separated by an iron gate in the same building. An innovative film full of energy and innovative ideas that is worth watching.

"Secret Fruit"  has nothing innovative, it follows the romantic story of two teenagers, a  drama not so cute but not so serious adult novels, is a romantic drama  typical of pre-teen without differential, the soundtrack is  good, the cast is wonderful but lacking footprint, the couple although  acting does not avenge, does not roll that chemistry on the scene. Cinematography  is cool, far from surprising, leaves the film harmoniously romantic but  not enough to be a beautiful and touching movie of first love.

I loved this drama. Anyway, it's not for everyone to see. It contains really depressing and sad. The story is so deep about two lovers who love each other deeply but they have to apart their ways because the King (qin state) wanted to marry her. The acting is completely amazing, I give it a 10/10 because they really made the efford to give us the most beautiful scenes to make us feel the way they're were feeling, the best one here was Zhang Vin, she practiced for months in order to act in Ying Zheng's role. The music is fantastic, beautiful and deep just like the drama, I could hear it a lifetime. The story is good, anyway it could have been better, but I know it has to be realistic, but in my opinion I loved Jinke and Li'er, also Han Shen was an amazing character, Jinke, han shen and li'er will always have a place in my heart. And last but not least, I would watch it again but in a few years so I can feel the same feelings as now.  Give it a try. Story 8/10 acting/cast amazing 10/10, rewatch vaue 8/10 and Overall I would give it a 9/10

I had high hopes for this one considering its a TVN show with a pretty respectable cast. Being an American remake, this show was rather dull and predictable all the way through and I expected a bit more imagination and quality which is what usually accompanies TVN produced crime dramas.  In the end though it's just like any other cookie cutter American police procedural. The problem with those types of shows these days is that they all follow the same lazy formula. It's the equivalent of a ride breaking down at a theme park: The lights turn on, the music stops, and you realize that the actual crime shows you're addicted to are nothing more than a few puppets on machines, programmed to do the same thing over and over again. There are way too many shows like this in America right now and its just disappointing seeing such an similar uninspired product coming out of TVN.

This review may contain spoilers
This show is a very "to each it's own" kind of show.
To me, I thought it wasn't as bad as people had said & I actually enjoyed it. Of course I wouldn't say that it's the best show in the world, but I definitely wouldn't say it's the worst. It had a lot of potential too. It seemed rather rushed as well but I guess that could be because they're apparently breaking them into seasons.

The overall story idea was very interesting to me, but the development was too quick. I found the chemistry to be pretty good but the acting wasn't always the greatest. (I still wouldn't say it was the worst.) I don't want to drop spoilers but I don't know how else to bring this up & I think it's an important scene to bring up to prove my point about something, but the scene where they're giving orders while playing the King game was probably one of my favorite scenes. Not because it got "steamy" (if you want to use those choice of words) but because it showed how comfortable they all were with each other.
With Newyear actually being gay in real life, I like that they all were still very okay with the touchy-feely scenes. That scene actually looked the most real to me. It looked as though they were all genuinely having a fun time joking around. Nothing about it seemed awkward or uncomfortable & I felt that was probably the most important scene to show them as actors & people.
Now outside of that scene, the acting seemed to digress a bit. However, I think it was more for all the less intimate scenes to be honest. BrightxAugust was the most interesting to me & I paid the most attention to them. I felt Mark (August) played his character very well & him & Best (Bright) had really good chemistry with each other.
Junho & Matt's scenes were a bit odd to me. More on an acting level though, Like they weren't the most comfortable together or they just couldn't completely figure out how to portray their characters. I really like their trailer-like episode for the next season though! It looks like it's going to get interesting so I'm quite excited for that.
New & Pound's scenes weren't as awkward as JunhoxMatt's scenes, but they weren't as great as BrightxAugust. Again, I really love the comfortableness they all have with Newyear, especially Kris since he played his love interest. I seen a lot of people dislike their storyline specifically because Newyear's love interest wasn't his real life boyfriend, Both. The thing is though, folks, is that Newyear is an actor. He won't get to have his real life partner play opposite of him all the time. But that doesn't mean that they would break up over it. I doubt Both was upset with any of it because as most partners of actors (should) understand is that acting is acting. Having a couple kiss scenes with another actor doesn't mean they'll fall in love & dump their current lovers. Despite having a boyfriend, I think Newyear still did really well as his character & I'm really proud of him for being able to land a role since he wasn't able to get the last role he tried to audition for because of his sexuality (which still makes no sense to me that he was refused the role of a gay character because he's actually gay, but whatever).

To avoid this review from being 14 pages long, I'll end it with a few more things. This show, in my opinion, isn't as bad as it might seem. Some might not like it, & that's completely okay, but I don't think you should be afraid to give this one a try if you're curious about it. People may say that you shouldn't waste your time, but I truly find it to be anything but a waste of time. I say you should try it out; there's only 5 episodes (so far because as of right now only season one is out) & they're each 25ish minutes so it won't be like you wasted a whole 10 hours of your life if you end up not enjoying it. & who knows, maybe they'll improve for season two! ?

This show is honestly incredible. All the actors are amazing and portray their characters really well. Even the characters that are meant to be disliked I felt attached too, the character development is so good! This drama has the ability to have me smiling one minute, crying the next and then yelling at my phone that I need more the next! It's so moving and I will 100% be watching this again, it's one of my favourite shows now! When watching it I recommend having a box of tissues beside you because I literally cried throughout the whole thing, the happier scenes were so happy and beautiful they bought tears to my eyes and the more sad scenes left in a sobbing mess on the floor. I recommend this show to all of you, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Have a lovely day/night and good luck!

I absolutely love the story, it is really unique...Well to me. It is a mix between sci-fi, humor, romance and more. The acting is great and half the time the feelings they are meant to display are highly believable. The fighting scenes caught my attention. The story is quite sad but the main character will have you laughing with his cheeky attitude. There are also many other characters who make the story complete, from the very goofy ones to the evil ones. The music fits the scenes well. I don't know if you will have the same thoughts but I suggest you try watching it at least once. The only thing I didn't like about the show is the ending, it was quite bland.
That's it for my review.

Although it doesn't follow the original story directly, this is one of the best adaptations I have seen. It still keeps many of the same details, but dramas are usually short so they have to cut things out somewhere and can't be perfect. While it lacked some of the original details that made the story so good to begin with, it made up for that in other ways by altering the story to fit the length of the drama and close it out.

Kubota's acting was incredible and so was the rest of the cast. Highly recommend for any Death Note fans.

This is my first review on here so I really hope it's not crap. Haha, anyways;
This show is honestly by far, one of my favorite Thai series, if not one of my favorite Asian series as a whole (& I've seen A LOT of Asian dramas!)

Though I love this show so much, I'll start with what I would call the negatives.
To me, I found the side story of the professor & the student quite bland & uninteresting. I actually skipped most of their scenes. I usually dislike teacher/student stories for obvious reasons, but this is different seeing as he's a college student, she's not much older than him, & he's indeed of age. So that didn't bother me. It was mostly just the character of the professor. I don't know why, but her personality was quite annoying to me, like I found her to be somewhat stuck up & obnoxious. I'm not going to spoil anything so I'll just say that I get why she's so against what she's against, but just something about her really annoyed me. (I think she's incredibly gorgeous though!)
I found FarmxBright storyline quite awkward too. Not so much as the age difference as most people seemed to be against;  Farm is of age & CGame (the actor who portrays Farm) is 21, & as someone who is 22 yet still looks like a 16 year old, I understand that he can't change how young he looks. But what bothered me is the development between the two characters. Again, no spoilers, but the ending was quite odd. In all honesty, I would find it interesting if season 3 was to happen, that they'd focus on them.
One last thing is the continuity from season one since this is supposed to be a prequel. There's a few things that are different from the first season. I actually found that the characters personalities are quite different than from season one too. It's not the hugest of issues, but I just thought it was a little weird.

Other than those few things, I didn't really dislike much. A lot of people seem to be against Knock's actions & his way of thinking. I however, get it. Knock feels guilty for both relationships he's dealing with; one more than the other because he sees the person of that relationship to be innocent & doesn't deserve what's going on. Obviously how he deals with it isn't exactly the right thing to do, but hey, it's angst & adds to the story.
More positives about the show is definitely the acting & chemistry! Those who have seen or at least started the show know the main actors have incredible chemistry. Literally the first scene from the first episode shows it. Every scene between them was so surprising, but in the best way possible. As someone who has always wanted to be an actress, I tend to pay a lot of attention to facial expressions, body language, tone of speaking, chemistry, etc. & I was not disappointed one bit. This goes for every single actor. Even the smaller roles did a fantastic job. The villains did excellent as well! Of course I disliked every bad guy, until some of them redeemed themselves. (Won't say who  or how so this doesn't count as a spoiler!)
Of course Yihwa was my favorite character. Not just because she's super cute & spunky (Maengmum is such a babe!) but because she truly cares about her friends. You can tell she loves them dearly & just wants them all to be happy. The fact that she does so much for her friends is so heartwarming to me. Everyone honestly needs a Yihwa in their life! I absolutely adored Fai as well. I wised that she was a bit more involved in a way. Not in the screen time sort of way, but in the kind of way that Yihwa was. I feel like Fai (along with Phu for that matter) were kind of in the dark with a lot of things & I would have loved to see them be a little more involved, if that makes sense at all.

This is a very long review, I'm so sorry! But to wrap it up, I'll say this; I highly recommend this show! Even if BL dramas aren't your thing, this show has so much depth that you don't often see in dramas, let alone in BL dramas. I won't name any names, but there have been quite a few shows I've seen that seem like they're just supposed to be really fluffy or really angsty, but in a way that drags & just has messy plots.  A lot of those shows don't have much depth which makes the whole show seems to lack a lot. I don't want to put down other BL dramas, but this specific drama seems to have so much that others seem to be missing. If you're wondering on if you should give this show a shot, PLEASE DO. I really don't think you'll be disappointed!!

I enjoyed School 2017.  I don't think it was amazing, but I think it was good. I'm writing this because I felt like all the reviews either said it was incredible or bad. I don't have it in me to write a super long review though but here's a few things I found true for my watch experience.

I loved the romance between Tae Woon and Eun Ho.  I wasn't sure how the romance would play out between the main leads but I was pleasantly surprised with both of the actor's abilities and chemistry.  Their relationship was cute and affectionate and whenever they'd interact I felt myself grinning like an idiot.  I loved them. <3 I think their relationship made up for a lot of this dramas faults.

Personally I don't feel like it was quite as well done as school 2013 though.  I liked the whole X thing for a while but it kind of lost momentum for me.  I also feel like Tae Woon's whole backstory wasn't handled very well.  I didn't quite understand all the angst between the two main guys because it wasn't really Tae Woon's fault that things turned out like they did but his dad's.  One specific thing that bothered me is Tae Woon's father's sudden transformation in the last episode.  He showed no growth or change through all 15 episodes but then suddenly he takes a 180. Like what the heck. The last couple episodes in general I don't feel were done as well as the others but whatever.  Also the authorities in the school seemed really goofy but also weirdly evil. Regardless of my complaints, I enjoyed School 2017 and I was left feeling more satisfied than disappointed.

Overall I really liked this drama even if it wasn't a home run.  I would recommend it but I think you have to have a thing for school dramas to like it though.

This is a very nice drama for in between and genuinely something I would watch after coming home from work  during dinner. The only problem is that it does lack quite some substance to it, making the whole series a bit dull.- Cast/Acting
I really loved the acting in this drama. Everyone did an fantastic job, especially the side characters' actors were truly amazing. On that note I would like to point out that all the child actors are true little pros! Their acting skills were wonderful to watch. While I loved the acting so much in this I think some of the actors' talents were a bit wasted on the characters they played. - Story
The idea is quite simple with there being one case per episode which also spans out to the following episode. There is no true plot and if you believe we dive a bit more into - for instance - the happenings of episode 1, then the following episodes will disappoint. Certain characters have some kind of sub-plot but the main focus lies on the cases the team works on. In general I felt disconnected with the entire series and wished there would have been at least one single theme popping up once and again that would push for more character development and give the watcher some sense of anticipation or suspense.Something else that bothered me quite a lot throughout the whole drama was the extensive usage of the word profiling. As a whole the script's dialog was somewhat weird during the first few episodes, in my opinion.- OST
There is almost no OST in this drama - I'm talking about "songs" rather than instrumental background noise - which was a bit disappointing, but I liked the occasional soundtrack popping up here and there. I wish they had played it more frequently! All in all if you need something to watch in between some heart shattering dramas or if you like to chill out to some Criminal Minds in the morning during your breakfast then it surely will fulfill its duty without space for criticism. If you look for something that will make you feel like you fell through your screen and into the story and the drama itself then this is not really the right thing you are searching for, I believe.
