Never ever have I rated a drama so high no matter what. My review is a little skewed cause when it comes to lawyers, prosecutors and business drama in general, it often manages to please me.
I put a high note because I was able to finish it all without skipping a single episode, there were even times I had to stop watching and go back to my real life, which include go to work!!
I litteraly devoured this serie in a week or less, and despite being 25 episodes, I was pleased with all of them which is quite rare. I find the drama satisfying from beginning to end.
What really made me love this drama, is that even small characters get their own little story and despite the priority focus in court cases, we see them outside trying to balance work with view in their personal life. It vaguely reminded me "Avocats & Associés" (aired on France Télévision from 1998 to 2010). So it was not really like Law & Order (which I also appreciate) where you know close to nothing about the characters personal life or feeling outside their jobs. So it made it even more human I would say.

It's really hard to write a review, cause there's so much I want to say. Anyway, each case last two to three episodes which allow to build tension, suspense and rise questions about one's guiltiness or not, with the final verdict not always revealing the sole truth. Indeed, the truth can be way more tricky than it appears to be. The first case was definitely the hardest to watch, cause the victim was a hell of a nasty man, the guy was so loathsome that it was beyond tolerable, he was wilder than the wildest animal and so heinous for no reason at all.

I start to feel more entertained by HK dramas than before since I began asian series in 2011, and I never thought that this day would come, but hey only fools never change their mind. I'm so in love with cantonese speech, especially their "Weeyy", that reminds me of my african compatriot at times...
I didn't watch that many HK series, but I have to applaude them for using europeans and other faces from west asia, it add versatility especially when the people they choose aren't use to discriminate on the contrary. Best example was the episode with the man born in HK with indian roots. Stereotypes are worlwide and people often stop at appearance to assume or make wrong judgements.

When I saw Lok Man/Alex, I was fearing for the worst since I hated him in Nui Kuen (Grace under fire). Thank goodness, his character was better in here, can't say more otherwise it'd a be spoiler.
Si Kit/Keith, my gosh this guy can act, he was the real boss there with his office partner Tsi Yan/Mavis, they were carrying the show like real pros. I also like Man Hon/James, he was more reliable and competent than he appears to be, he was just so nervous like a newbie that plaintiffs were doubting his ability and capacity. And Siu Him/Wallace, how I adore him in Nui Kuen (Grace under fire), I also love him in this drama. He showed that he's able to play totally different characters and still remain credible in both roles. Hau Yu/Cecilia, there's not much to say about her, I found her average. Last, but not least the woman inspector Miu Yee, that lady have all my respect, she could fight back like nobody and she wasn't even afraid when surrounded by three man. I knew who she would end with, their moment together were so cute and hilarious, they were already addicted one to another before realizing it.

The opening song which is also the ending song, even if I didn't quite like it to start, I really loved the music and that made me enjoy the song more in the end. It was a good choice, but it's a pity that there weren't other songs or real music during all the drama.

It's clear that I'll rewatch it someday, that's a definite yes!!

This is my go-to movie when I need a good laugh. Don't let my scoring mislead you into thinking this is some groundbreaking movie. It's not. I'm judging it as it's genre, comedy. And as a comedy it's gold. You will literally laugh out loud.

Kang Ji Hwan is fantastic as a crazy, slob cop! He really gives it his all without going too over-the-top. Lee Hee Joon is also really funny as his partner. All the side cops & chief are great too. They really mesh well & feel like they're a unit that has been working together for awhile. Another comedic standout is Shin Min Chul as a model.

Without giving away specific scenes, I'll just say that the whole movie will have you laughing from start to finish. It's comedy galore! There's also a little romance and a few sweet, heartwarming moments too.

Plus, lots of eye candy! Including cameos from my loves: Kim Woo Bin & Park Bo Gum. :)

I see that Song Jae Rim is listed as another model cameo & there is a long-haired model like Jae Rim's hair used to be but I really don't think that's him. This movie isn't listed in his filmography on any other site.

So if you're looking for a good comedy then definitely check out Runway Cop. Don't take it seriously & just enjoy it for what it is.

I rewatched it so many times and I still find it entertaining. The story isn't too dark and it isn't too light as well. I think it has a good mix of story, actors and music. Plus, the cinematography is beautiful. I even find the CGI funnily cute. Well, those scenes were supposed to be funny and cute anyways. It is very simple and it's beautiful that way.

Every time I watch it, I get the feeling of reading a book by the window while listening to the melodious sound of raindrops kissing the roof, the ground and everything it touches. When I watched it on TV with my mom a few days ago, I realized that it isn't something enjoyed with company. Just like when in that precious moment of a good book by the window and the rain plus the aroma of coffee, interruptions are unwelcomed and company are annoyance.

I read somewhere that this got a Chinese version of a Razzie, but I am not convinced at all. I mean, WHY?

STORYLINE: 2/10
By far my ever lowest rating of anything. I just could not connect with the characters.
You require being in the mood for a very wacky plot which I thought I was but My Sassy Girl just did not fulfil to even make me smile. I suddenly found myself fidgeting to do other things with it in the background.

CHARACTERS: 1.2/10
I initially thought that the differences in personality would create a watchable movie like Hotaru no Hikari but I guess you could say My Sassy Girl provided the base for Hotaru no Hikari of how not to do it. The female role was just too over dramatized that her presence overbears the male’s character.
I do not want to judge the actors’ acting abilities based solely on this movie so I choose to stay neutral.

LIKED – The initially description of the movie had me hopeful.
DISLIKED – It did not meet any expectations or amuse any of my brain cells.

CONCLUSION:
This is usually the part in my reviews when I try to further sell you it but I really felt My Sassy Girl such a waste of my time so I would hypocritical if I recommended it.

I feel like the story line for this movie had so much potential I just wish they did it better. It is quite a typical set up but I found the story moved too slowly at times and character developments were too sudden to fit that.

I found the acting okay but I just didn't sense that much chemistry between the two main couples. Like a lot of teen romances there were highly realistic and cringey moments, a lot of which you can see coming. It is typical with lots of build up, main broody guy and innocent girl. Not too bad.

I did watch this on a whim as I'm on a bit of a movie binge lately and I did enjoy it, don't get me wrong, but it's nothing special or mind blowing. If you want something cute to watch then I'd recommend it as long as you don't have high expectations.

AWESOME HISTORICAL DRAMA!! I really love the story about Silla warriors which is called Hwarang. And hwarang train to become stronger in order to protect their kingdom Silla. The plot and its storyline really excite me and made me more anticipating for the next episode every episode that was released. Its not because of the number of flower boys that blinded the viewers, once you get the feeling of the storyline, this drama is actually great. The OSTs are really good too!! Trust me, this drama wont dissapoint you! At first when i started to watch this, i was not that interested but after watching a few episodes, i was so anticipated for the next plot REALLY The actors really acted well and conveyed their emotions well too! The ending was great!! :') I was really happy that its a happy ending and was sad that its the final episode because i was attached to HWARANG already.. the drama is super good serious :') i cried joyfully at the ending.. After finishing watching Hwarang, listening back to all the OSTs of hwarang really made me miss the hwarang moments and scenes that ive enjoyed :') trust me. I even searched the real history of hwarang and silla kingdom hahahah "post hwarang depression" seriously. i find myself feeling nostalgic listening to the ost and remembering of watching hwarang.. My point is Hwarang is highly recommended drama to watch! Ignore the ratings and i promise you that you will enjoy watching this drama! :) gonna miss watching hwarang and the casts too!! :)

This is like military enlistment but this is Hwarang version hahah thats why l love this concept of historical drama. :)

The show was so awesome. not like other dramas, the ending is nice because it's not common for an ending. the acting was superb. the blending of romance and politics were good. even the villains were good. if they just showed what happened to _____, i'd give it a rate of 10+. for those who will watch this, don't skip episode and watch it until the end. the main cast were amazing...

even though the story somehow contradicts the history of Empress Ki, it's still awesome. the story isn't really common

The story may not be very interesting to me but it is still a good drama. At least there is some humor in this drama. I remember watching this drama in the train and probably looked retarded for smiling and laughing. Its kinda worth to watch this plot. Don't mind me, I just find Lee Min Jung a beauty that's why the cast rating is 10/10. Cheers :).
