Great actors, excellent plot. This is a must-watch. I did not expect it to turn out this great. Never underestimate Ji-sung's skills in expressing emotions. Cannot skip 1 episode!!!
This drama grabs your attention right in first episode you cannot turn around and escape from it.

I feel like the story line for this movie had so much potential I just wish they did it better. It is quite a typical set up but I found the story moved too slowly at times and character developments were too sudden to fit that.

I found the acting okay but I just didn't sense that much chemistry between the two main couples. Like a lot of teen romances there were highly realistic and cringey moments, a lot of which you can see coming. It is typical with lots of build up, main broody guy and innocent girl. Not too bad.

I did watch this on a whim as I'm on a bit of a movie binge lately and I did enjoy it, don't get me wrong, but it's nothing special or mind blowing. If you want something cute to watch then I'd recommend it as long as you don't have high expectations.

AWESOME HISTORICAL DRAMA!! I really love the story about Silla warriors which is called Hwarang. And hwarang train to become stronger in order to protect their kingdom Silla. The plot and its storyline really excite me and made me more anticipating for the next episode every episode that was released. Its not because of the number of flower boys that blinded the viewers, once you get the feeling of the storyline, this drama is actually great. The OSTs are really good too!! Trust me, this drama wont dissapoint you! At first when i started to watch this, i was not that interested but after watching a few episodes, i was so anticipated for the next plot REALLY The actors really acted well and conveyed their emotions well too! The ending was great!! :') I was really happy that its a happy ending and was sad that its the final episode because i was attached to HWARANG already.. the drama is super good serious :') i cried joyfully at the ending.. After finishing watching Hwarang, listening back to all the OSTs of hwarang really made me miss the hwarang moments and scenes that ive enjoyed :') trust me. I even searched the real history of hwarang and silla kingdom hahahah "post hwarang depression" seriously. i find myself feeling nostalgic listening to the ost and remembering of watching hwarang.. My point is Hwarang is highly recommended drama to watch! Ignore the ratings and i promise you that you will enjoy watching this drama! :) gonna miss watching hwarang and the casts too!! :)

This is like military enlistment but this is Hwarang version hahah thats why l love this concept of historical drama. :)

The show was so awesome. not like other dramas, the ending is nice because it's not common for an ending. the acting was superb. the blending of romance and politics were good. even the villains were good. if they just showed what happened to _____, i'd give it a rate of 10+. for those who will watch this, don't skip episode and watch it until the end. the main cast were amazing...

even though the story somehow contradicts the history of Empress Ki, it's still awesome. the story isn't really common

The story may not be very interesting to me but it is still a good drama. At least there is some humor in this drama. I remember watching this drama in the train and probably looked retarded for smiling and laughing. Its kinda worth to watch this plot. Don't mind me, I just find Lee Min Jung a beauty that's why the cast rating is 10/10. Cheers :).

Cinematography: Good, its well shot
Story: classic
Script: not very good... there is a lot of annoying scene... and downtime...
Cast: Great...

Note:

I just think that the way story was told is kind of same old same old... there is a lot of downtime and the drama in it self could have been better.... the obstacle that the princess has to go through isnt that fun to watch... but I do love the cast....

-Story is great... altho we know from the start of the plot... but the way script was written, you just get pull into the story and hoping they would get to their goal... There isnt much of any down time.
-Great Cast!!! I think Im in love with Hu Ge... LOL
-Well shot, the cinematography is quite amazing... it is traditional yet some very active switch shooting style in critical point. (al tho most ppl will not notice it)

Ok bear with me. This is my first review. You know the dramas that have a low budget, simple story & average writing/acting but you end up loving them anyway. Well, A Girl & Three Sweethearts is one of those dramas.

I think its simplicity is why it excels expectations. It won't wow you or win a bunch of awards but it's enjoyable and will make you smile. When you come to care about the characters & what happens to them then I consider it a successful drama. I know I'm probably making this sound mediocre but I really did love it.

While it's a rom-com at heart, it's also about family. The brothers' relationship & love for each other is heartwarming. Misaki fits well into their lives and restaurant. Like their missing piece. The interaction between the 4 feels so real. From the happy times to even the angsty parts.

The romance is of course the main reason you're probably checking this drama out and it will make you swoon! I'm a sucker for when a couple start off hating each other and then fall for each other. How the relationship grows & evolves is what takes you on a journey. Mirei & Kento have a nice chemistry. Maybe it's cuz they've acted together before that there is an ease between them in their scenes.

Oh Kento. How I love him. I'm not blind to the fact that his acting is average but there's just something about him. I do have to say that this is the best acting I've seen from him. He's improving! Helps when he plays a character that has more emotions than his usual characters. Not a whole lot more though! Lol. He does good at the anger, confusion that his character goes through. Won't say when it happens but he has some really good silent acting when he flashes back to some moments. And of course he looks so good!

Mirei is so cute and pretty. She plays Misaki's cheerful personality well but also balances it out with her determination about her cooking. I'm not one to usually criticize appearance but I did sometimes have trouble buying her as a baker. Her arms are just so ridiculously thin that it's not plausible that she's someone one who mixes ingredients everyday.

Shohei and Shuhei as Chiaki and Touma, respectively, are the standouts acting-wise. Their characters have some interactions that are really good and emotional.

I honestly don't recall the music standing out to me but that can be a good thing. Better that than be completely mismatched and take you out of the scene. So it just kinda fits & subtly adds a scene without you realizing it.

A few cons: I wish Touma had more storyline. He was an absolute gem. The villain never amounted to anything and was just more of an annoyance. But really that's it for cons.

If you're looking for a nice, easy, fun drama then I definitely recommend A Girl & Three Sweethearts. Not too overwhelming. Not too underwhelming. But just right. ;)

Oh man, where to even begin with this drama.... It's a very over the top, no-way-that-would-happen-in-real-life, but oddly compelling storyline spun out and wrapped up all in seven episodes. So if you're more of a fan of realistic dramas, this one is not for you unfortunately.

The story piles on a lot of small time concerns; meeting an ex-lover at work, recovering from such a meeting, questioning your current lover, confrontation of other partners, a lot of rather typical things that do actually happen in relationships. Pile on a cast of characters that are either rooting your relationship on, or prepared to take you apart, there is no room for middle ground. While you would think there's no way a plot like this could surprise you; every episode twisted away from what I thought was going to happen, and brought it in a new direction. This drama had me on my toes the entire time, rooting for some people, cursing others, and it was rather quick how I was to turn around who I was cheering for. The best question is who snatched whose love away in the end? (Btw, the title translated roughly to 'stolen love in winter'.

Acting; oh boy. This is where it gets good. The whole cast is golden. A little concerned about execution of such an over dramatic plot? Have no fear, the whole cast is here. Misuno Miki (Ran) absolutely STEALS the spotlight with her over the top but oddly relatable reactions. You'll be despising her character as much as you sort of sympathize with her at the end. A perfect villain or the perfect victim? You'll have to chose. Kurashina Kana (Hikaru) is the perfect opposite. More or less you will be rooting for this girl the entire time, and rightfully so. And while she appears much less dangerous a character then Ran; her development will give her the backbone to surprise you. Otani Ryohei (Shin) is the perfect match for and against Miura Shohei (Kota). Both lead males are so handsome, and believe me, incredibly romantic in the series like Hikaru you'll have a hard time choosing. Although I will have to admit, Shohei is experimenting with his acting style and it's got mixed reactions from me. Sometimes seeming too dramatic, sometimes not dramatic enough, it's fitting for this series though.

Music, realizing the ending theme is 'Magic' by AAA sold it for me. The use of repetitive songs kinda gets boring though to be honest. You can read a lot of the action and the direction it does by just the music cueing up. At least the opening theme and opening in general is short to focus more on the story. I'm not a rewatcher, but I'm curious when the subtitles come out (I did raws for this and mostly understood all the dialogues) how I'll feel about the series then.

Overall, if you're a fan of any of the main cast I highly recommend this series. If you want something so over the top, and somewhat of a guilty pleasure please watch!

Great fun watch, nothing deep, had her parents been at least on a phone call would have been more real, nice to watch while not having to be glued to tv like some Kds.
