This movie was truly a work of art. An emotional story so please don't watch before bedtime.
This was one of the most well written story of a father daughter relationship like never seen before.
A masterpiece. I found it on on a top ten movie list and decided to watch it at 3 am, the worst thing I could have done.
The actors very top quality, especially the little girl Kal So Won as Lee Ye Seung she was amazing, To be so young and move the audience with brilliance.
I highly recommend this movie, just keep in mind that it's a tear jerker, heavily teared.
I give it a 10/10 for everything but I don't think I would be able to rewatch it again. I cried way too much

This drama is a very well written drama with no lead syndromes. A girl named Mina is surrounded by equally good looking boys. Each is better off in his own way,
A baseball player.
A top scorer.
A bad boy with a good heart.
A dancer.
Whom does she choose?
Interestingly, she chooses all!!
The plot is well written and cast is good too.
A don't remember any music but a very good drama.
Watch it!

I don’t remember the last time I cried this much over make-belief, fairy-tale characters and story-telling. Over the years of drama watching, there were many, many moments where my heart fluttered, my voice cracked and the tears threatened but rarely over and over, and over again.

And yet, Loving, Never Forgetting managed to do just that.

A story of a one-night stand that changed the lives of the Li and Xiang families.

A tale of custody fights, gripping parent-child relationships, sibling rivalry and power struggles. The pacing is excellent. Show offers a nice blend of introspective moments between mothers and sons. Similarly, underneath the surface, we see simmering bondings between the fathers and the sons, foreign and yet familiar — quiet, scary but endearing.

Jerry Yan is superb playing the aloof and tough businessman Zhong Mou but his skillful acting makes me empathizes with him despite the cold facade he puts up in the custody battle, yanking his son away from the only mother he knows and loves. The tenderness he shows towards Tong Tong in the moment of need is pure magic.

Even though Zhong Mou grew up without experiencing maternal or paternal warmth, he is innately capable of seeking deep within himself to shower love for a son that is suddenly thrust into his otherwise lonely life. Sworn never to fall in love and marry, his impenetrable wall of bachelorhood gets melted brick by brick by the generous, loving, and open-minded Wu Tong. Initially skeptical of her motives, he keeps her at arm’s length but finds himself increasingly drawn to the woman whom, despite not remembering their moment of intimacy, bore him a son.

Tong Liya is perfect in the role of Wu Tong. She’s strong-willed but in a feminine way. Her maternal instincts are powerful: protective, unselfish but realistic. Some viewers feel she’s feeble which is somewhat true given that she's naive to a fault but her flaws are understandable and do not detract from the overall story arc. She makes me feel her pain and I cried alongside her when she has to part with Tong Tong, struggling to balance her own needs against what’s best for Tong Tong.

As a family melodrama with its angelic female character, Wu Tong is someone that believes in the good of everyone and naively thinks she has the power to effect change. Despite being told time and time again, that 30 years of hate and bitterness just doesn’t go away overnight, she continues to march on inside her own cocoon thinking somehow she can be the catalyst that will propel family unity.

The chemistry between Zhong Mou and Wu Tong is off the charts earth shattering. I don’t know how many times I re-watched the scene where Zhong Mou broach the elusive subject that he is falling for her. This OTP is undeniably a match made in heaven.

Tong Tong is adorable and just perfect for this role, maybe too perfect (said some) but then again, I didn’t mind that at all. His delightful interactions with Wu Tong and Zhong Mou warm my heart and put a smile on my face.

As for the supporting casts, I must say this is one of those few rare times when I’m hard pressed to complain about any character. Each has his/her own honest story to tell. Kudos goes to Personal Assistant, sidekick extraordinaire, Lin Jian Dong whose loyalty and affable demeanor gives the show light-hearted moments. His dorky affection for Liang Yue Qi is subtle, like a tree-lined vista, providing much needed shades to its oblivious passersby. The most villainous of the characters, Xiang Jun, sent shivers down my spine for a few episodes, making me feel the hate for him brewing but the hate slowly withers away as the show winds down towards redemption. There isn’t a moment where I felt like fast forwarding. Instead show kept me up late and made me waste away whole weekends drooling for what’s next.

If I had one complaint, it would be the ending episodes which felt like scene fillers. I could easily do without these last few “dramas” — my heart did not pound as much as it did in the beginning as Zhong Mou overcomes one crisis after another. The ending could have been wrapped up a few episodes earlier.

Loved the OST especially the one by Jerry Yan.

A heartfelt melodrama that touches two generations and the bad blood that binds the Li and Xiang families, and ultimately a woman who wants to unite them all. One that moved my soul. A must-watch.

Delicious dark chocolate is what Shopping King Louie is to me. Initially, I was thinking this was cotton candy cute but one can become sick of cotton candy quickly. The cuteness in SKL grows on you, episode by episode, and you will never get sick of it because it's just so well done!

The story seems simple and full of tropes: amnesia, chaebols, cinderella-like characters, car crashes, etc. but none of them felt melodramatic at all-especially when those cliches would usually spell out melodrama in other dramas. The drama's anchor is on the chemistry between Seo In Guk and Nam Ji Hyun and the drama knows its strengths so it focuses on that. The progression of their relationship is organic, genuine, honest, and just full of cuteness! The story isn't fast in the sense that things are always happening but the continuous character growth in the relationships is what will keep you watching. You become invested in all the characters and grow to love them- all of them. That was the draw for me.

I love this drama and its Cinderella feel. It's such an easy watch but not boring- and that's so hard to achieve, having light cuteness that's balanced by heartfelt moments

I really liked the OST especially Tiger Moth by Monsta;it's still playing on repeat.

I recommend SKL, completely if you like:
-cuteness overload, in a good way
-a well-done rom-com (actually hilarious and romantic at the same time)
-no melodrama because the writer defies all the cliches you think will happen

Shopping King Louis is one of the most pure, innocent, and heart-warming dramas I've watched in a long time. I sincerely recommend this to y'all especially if you need a little bit of Louis to lift up your spirits!

I'll be honest and say I began watching this because of the poster and the synopsis I read about the drama. The synopsis said that it was about a child got lost in the woods and was raised by a pack of wolves, the king of wolves... Who wouldn't want to watch that?
I can honestly say that it was not what I was expecting. Lol~

The story was good in the beginning, but then I don't know what happened. The drama isn't the best but that doesn't mean it's not watchable. There are so many flaws you can point out, but besides that, it's so cliché and some of it is cute at the same time. It's one of those dramas where you still watch even if it's not the best. Something about it made me kept watching. I guess there were three things that made me continue to watch. One, was the relationship Mi Mi's family had. They were a warm and loving family. They would even welcome a complete stranger into their home and treat them like one of their own. It was touching to watch. Another thing that made me continue to watch was the relationship between the leads, Mi Mi and Ze Ming. I absolutely love the romantic clichés in dramas. I'm a sucker for it. The relationship between them was cute and sweet. In the beginning, Ze Ming was like a child, an adorable one at that, with the sweetest smile that just melts your heart. Mi Mi was able to help him reconnect with old and establish new relationships. This helped him to mature and experience things he's once experienced as a child and even the things he's never experienced before. She had such a huge impact on his life that he couldn't bear the thought of living without her and along the way, she felt the same. They're so cute together. >w<
The last thing that kept me watching was the actor Chang Derek (Ze Ming). Really hard to believe that this was his first drama ever. He did an amazing job, especially with his emotional scenes. Those scenes he did where he had to execute some emotions, he did really well and it was very believable. I love the fact how his character had development. He went from an innocent, sweet childlike person to a mature, and still lovable person who had to adapt to a new environment and be surrounded by people all the time. I also liked An Amber's character, Mi Mi. Others might have found her annoying but I found her really adorable actually. She becomes very shy and cute around Ze Ming and you could tell she loved him very much as he did her. The other characters were ok, I honestly didn't care much about them. Some of the characters became annoying but I did like her parents a lot. They were such warm and loving people. It was nice seeing Chen Katie again since Bromance, but her character seemed the same from how it was in Bromance. Lol~

I absolutely loved the OST. At least 4 of the song were sung by Bii, including the opening song~? I love listening to him sing. I did like the two songs that were sung by An Amber as well. Her voice is pleasant. I liked the ending song that was sung by Dino Lee as well~ ^^

I'd recommend this but if you guys are willing to watch, watch with an open mind and if you can ignore the flaws or at least acknowledge them, I think you'll actually enjoy. Even if some of it was unbearable to watch, I still enjoyed for the sweet and cuteness between the leads and the strong bond the family had. This is one of the very few dramas I'll always have a soft spot for~ ^^

This is a sport drama, yes, but it's also about friendship, and a little bit of love on the side. There's nothing new and innovative about it but it's fresh and bright and it'll make you smile.

This drama is not in any way a masterpiece or anything really "special". It's just that it's special in the way that it gives you warm and fuzzy feelings in a simple and pure form without anything to make it complicated, annoying or draggy. Yes, there are characters who act as "bad guys", there are complications that makes you feel sooo upset and frustrated on behalf of the characters; it's dramatic in that way and keeps you emotionally connected. If you are susceptible to the feelgood genre, this story rubs you the right way and tugs at your heartstrings in a way that is… just right. It has a touch of comedy to it, and the amount of comedy is also just right. Some themes are rather serious, even if they're not dealt with in a very deep way, and the different sides of the story balace each other well. Some episodes are actually very funny.

Some people say it's predictable and I'm not denying that. (How can a story with this kind of plot not be? What would be the point?) It has all the usual things for a school and sports drama! Even if you can figure some things out right from the start, there are enough little surprises to keep you interested but it's not even about the plot mainly. This is the kind of drama you want to watch for the characters, their inteactions, the friendship, the teamwork, the loyalty, the emotional bonds, the forming of new bonds and re-discoveries of lost ones. Watching this drama will make you root for the characters, not only on the soccer field. That's why my overall rating is higher than the individual rating for "story". One minor flaw is that I think several scenes were cut from this drama. It doesn't take away anything from the understanding of the story but some things feel a little bit rushed in the last parts of the drama.

The acting is good overall; actors and characters are very well matched. The principal pulls of being a powerful woman/silly girl very well. The vice principal on the other hand is a little bit too ridicilous in his appearance; too much of a "type"… but it's okay in this kind of drama. He serves his purpose. The female lead is convincing and is only annoying sometimes; the young actors are mostly really great. Especially Wang Jingke and Qin Minghao (two of the main ones) are convincing in the different kinds of situations they face and grow through.

Hu Ge though is one major reason to watch this apart from the feelgood effects of the drama itself. I have to discuss him a little bit here, because I do find him so good in this role. He plays the part so well, a very believable "Mu Shuai" (the nickname his character goes by most of the time). He was perfect as a very kind and (too) noble man in Sound of the Desert, truly amazing in Nirvana in Fire, and in Disguiser he did very well in a role that wasn't really good for him - it's even more obvious in retrospect now that I compare with his portrayal of Mu Qi. Here, we can see him every now and then bring out a bubbly, playful side of the character. Ming Tai was definitely also playful but Hu Ge tried too hard there, simply because Ming Tai was very young so Hu Ge was not acting his age. With Mu Qi on the other hand, he is in time with his character so the overall impression is more convincing. (It's not just his problem, I think many actors have this problem when they have to act younger than their real age.) He goes through the usual journey from a somewhat grumpy, sad and "I don't really care" coach to someone who grows as a person, etc, etc (as can be expected from this kind of story), making plans and smart schemes, always bickering with young teacher Pei Duo… It's fun! It all seems to come naturally for him. And our two main leads do have enough chemistry to make you care! (Also, he's really hot here... but it should be just a side note!)

The music is nice and it fits in with the drama and everything. I liked it when I watched; I won't be listening to it later on.

I always struggle with the rewatch value when I write a review, because I don't rewatch, no matter how great a drama is. I'll have to pretend I am a rewatcher and imagine in which ways this would be worth watching again. Well, I do think a feelgood stoy you enjoyed has some kind of rewatch value (in the past I have rewatched movies and reread books so I'm not a complete stranger to it), but even though you don't really watch it for the plot you'll already know which games the team wins or loses… so I'd say if you really liked it and if you really don't have anything else to watch you could go back to this at least for a while.

This was an amazing drama. I literally just finish watching the last episode and I swear I was bawling my eyes out like a little baby...it was not a pretty sight. The cast were great, they all did a brilliant job.

As much as I loved the show I was not happy with the ending, I felt everything was packed into one episode.....I'm probably just been a greedy viewer but I need some type of closure, and I think the only way is to have a season 2. Like they're so many questions that needs to be answered...like did 21st century Hae-Soo go back to her normal life?...what happened after she left the museum?...what actually did happen to the Goryeo era Hae-Soo when 21st century Hae-Soo took over her body?....So many questions and I think they can only be answered by having another season. Which is probably never gonna happen.

I really hope they do end up having another season because when you think about it, the other versions had a sequel.

This movie is pretty aged since I didn't watch it until 2016. I think it was more suited to a younger audience with the story. And the acting wasn't top notch. TOP and Seungri were definitely new to the acting thing when they made this. They weren't horrible, but there was a lot of room for improvement. The storyline was simple, but somewhat entertaining.

I'd probably only recommend this to watch if you were a die-hard Big Bang fan. It was okay for a lazy afternoon, but won't be re-watching.

I enjoyed this show a lot, but feel like it'll be hard to review as there were parts that also frustrated me. I loved Eric Mun as Tae Ha. He had incredible growth through the series. Jung Yu Mi as Han Yeo Reum was an endearing, if confusing, heroine. This story is one that sort of unfolds in layers. It's a bit reminiscent of Another Miss Oh and Marriage, Not Dating in story-telling style. So, if you liked either of these, then you'll probably like this as well.

I liked all of the parts of Tae Ha and Yeo Reum re-kindling their lost love and discovering what went wrong and seeing their growth and maturing process. Like with AMO and MND, the relationships were complicated and messy and raw. I both loved and hated this show for the frustration of it all, but in a way that meant that the writing was good. These characters are flawed, and you feel like you can see each of their points of view...and my feelings toward each fluctuated as I learned more about each.

I loved Yoon Sol and Do Joon Ho as side characters. They also provided a lot of the tension relieving humor throughout the show.

The push/pull was hard to watch sometimes and I felt that the love triangle was solved way too late. My biggest complaint about the show as a whole, was the ending because I feel like they didn't leave enough time to make it as satisfying as it should have been considering the turmoil they put us through along with our OTP. I would still recommend it for a one-time watch.

This was a fun movie to watch. The escapades of serial thieves as they make one last heist.

The story was action packed and moved along at a great pace with characters that were interesting. They all played off each other very well. It certainly keeps you on your toes as you watch. And it didn't end like I thought it would at all....there are definitely some plot twists and turns and unexpected outcomes. There's also a bit of humor as well, so it's not just action and crime.

This was solidly entertaining and I would watch it again.

I love Gong Hyo Jin, and the trailers for this show are what drew me to it. I like the two male leads as well, and this looked to be a fairly fun romance story.

The first half of this show, I was utterly in love with it. I re-watched episodes as I waited for new ones to air. But I made the fatal mistake of falling for the second male lead, knowing that the writers would break my heart and his. The show starts off by throwing a huge cast of characters at us, and their relations seem a little confusing at first. But, eventually, all is sorted, and we have ourselves with 3 main love triangles. Pyo Na Ri, who has been in a 3 year one-sided love with Lee Hwa Shin, and then meets and falls for his best friend and ultimate chaebol gentleman, Go Jung Won. This is our main triangle and love story. The others are played up at first but slowly get pushed to the background....just like our 2nd lead. I blame the writers for making Jung Won such a perfect catch (and Go Kyung Pyo for making Jung Won seriously swoony) that he was hard to get over. Whereas, in contrast Hwa Shin could be a perfect donkey's behind...yet somehow you couldn't hate him because he also showed that he cared about everyone in his life as well. He was definitely tortured by his own inner self.

The story had some serious moments that the writers cut with humorous moments, so the weightier matters didn't drag the show into melodrama territory. There were strong characters and great chemistry with ALL the cast members. The writers did a fantastic job with the casting, and it could not have been more perfect. Up until around episode 14, I was sure that this might be the best drama I had ever watched and I fully expected to see it on my list of favorites. But the writers started to make some missteps in the story from my point of view. And I know that the majority of viewers may disagree with me. I did not feel that way simply because my 2nd lead wasn't getting the girl. Hwa Shin was not a bad choice for Pyo Na Ri. They did have some great chemistry together and I could see where the Hwa Shin "shippers" could be all on board with him. But I wasn't as swayed as I could have been and the actions of the characters didn't seem honorable to me in that mid-point. It dampened my love for the show somewhat, and that never fully recovered. Jealousy Incarnate was still a good show and I looked forward to it every week. I think they wrapped up the story well and completely for our main couple. However, they left a lot of loose ends when they backburnered the side characters that were prominent in the first several episodes.

My favorite side characters may have been the doctor and her nurse. Nurse Oh stole every scene she was in, and the doctor was both funny and full of heart.
The music was great - seriously stand out. I'm not normally into the music so much, but there were several songs that I had to hunt down and play for my own enjoyment of them.

Please, do give this show a chance (and push through past the first couple of episodes if it's hard - it's worth it!). You'll have lots of laughter and emotions.

This show may be a little hard to review. I realize that I am watching it 11 years late, but I've heard many times what a good show this was....so I thought I'd see what the fuss was all about.

I'm going to start with the characters first because I believe that's where the strength of the show lies. Sam Soon was an amazing heroine. I loved that she was not the cookie-cutter drama girl. Sam Soon was chubby and loud and sometimes had a bit of a potty mouth. She was a force to be reckoned with. However, Jin Hun as a hero, was a bit weak. I don't think he was ready for the storm that was Sam Soon. She came into his life and restarted his "clock" which was stunted after a life altering accident. He was stuck in the past, mourning his lost family and lost love Hee Jin...who comes back to Korea just as Sam Soon and Jin Hun are starting to make a connection.
This was where the drama got frustrating for me, even though I continued to watch in hopes that Jin Hun would mature and be a worthy love for our girl Sam Soon. He had his moments where I loved him, and moments where I nearly hated him. The two did have some sizzling chemistry together, but then he would ruin it by saying something childish and mean...I know that his words were not true, and so did Sam Soon, but it was hurtful all the same and I didn't feel he did enough to make up for it a majority of the time. I think Jin Hun also didn't do enough to clear up the inevitable misunderstandings that he caused.
Hee Jin was a second lead female that you couldn't bear to hate, but at the same time just wished she would move on already and not tie Jin Hun to the past that he'd just started to let go of. Henry, played by the handsome Daniel Henney, was a refreshing character who I felt was under-used. His interactions as a non-Korean speaker with Sam Soon, a non-English speaker were a treat as they tried to communicate in broken Konglish. Hee Jin should have snatched that man up right away and forgotten all about immature Jin Hun.

I was entertained by this show and can see where it may have broken a lot of drama tropes for its time. My heart squeezed for Sam Soon many times. Sam Soon wore her heart on her sleeve and it was hard not to be moved by the emotions that she was feeling. I was a bit disappointed by the ending, but it was not a bad ending. I don't care if it would have been cliche, I just expected a little....more.

The hair and clothes in this show are quite out of style now (2016), as well as the technology, but I don't think they detract too much from watching this now.

As a classic K-drama, I would recommend it when you are in a drama lull and need something to fill a void, but I wouldn't say that you need to rush to watch it. The storyline can be a little slow and repetitive - I mean how many times must we watch Sam Soon's heart get broken before she gets her happy ending? My final judgment is that I have a sort of love/hate feeling towards this show. I don't know if I would ever re-watch it or not.

A rare drama, those appearing five times in a decade, a philosophical and intelligent epic, which speaks to both the heart and the mind. An extraordinary work of fiction !!!

Some thoughts:

"As long as I live, I must do something!" Despite hunger, poverty, inequalities and injustices, we must do something if we are alive!
The point is, we have a choice:
To live cruelly or to die cruelly? That is the question!
Can the good be always good? Would good things be born of evil things? What is evil can be good?
Can justice be collective? Or is it individual? Or is there no justice?

When you think things have gone wrong because of you, remember:

"It's not your fault! This is not your fault! The world is strange!" - Yeon Hee!

The question of whether love is fated or love is driven by circumstances is realistically portrayed in this drama. What I love is the step by step decision making that goes into the separation and the divorce and the natural attraction of the leads. This wasn't a lust drama but one of mutual respect for the person that is the object of affection. One of the most satisfying endings for a K drama that usually spoils the ending withe the contrite attempts to redeem characters so everyone has a feel good experience. In real life and in this drama responsibility is the main theme. Responsibility to marriage, children and to self are all analyzed in unique ways. Tolerance and intolerance are so explored. Worth watching again and I thank the writers for seeing this drama through to a mature adult ending not some make believe fairy tale ending.

I will write this review because all of the others are very positive, so maybe someone want to read a different perspective.

I decided watch this because I saw many positive comments on Instagram and a comedy is never a bad choice to make your feel good, right? However, this series started fun and there was a very good idea behind it, the disscusion about the male breast cancer. This is the best thing about the show, because revealed the prejudice against women and men who suffer with cancer.

The problems started when the main male character, Hwa Shin, resisted to evolve. You already wait for a bad tempered because this is the type Jo Jung Suk knows how to play. But, different from Oh My Ghost! He will not be so sweet or transform himself in a good guy. He will be always cruel, grumpy, screamer, and the first to make hard judgments about his girlfriend without thinking of her feelings under the pretext that "this is how I love." What is the limit between love and selfishness?

Can all sexist dialoges which gone out of his mouth be interpreted as a hilarious situation?

Gong Hyo Jin really did a good job in this series! I love her job!!! This was the main reason why I kept seeing the series until the end.

The secondary characters in my opinion is in many sense better, mainly the growing friendship between Gye Seong Sook and Bang Ja Yeong, who initially were enemies.

I don't think the Kim Rak's character was to be a asexual situation, because since the beginning it was very clear that that was a "temporary" situation, which happened as a kind of punishment for he were having dated several women in the past. So I did not see any possibility that subject would be discussed as sexual choices issue.
Although it was somewhat courageous the discussion about a love triangle, living together; maybe a soft kind of polyamory.

The OST was amazing!!! You should try listen to some musics! :)

So this series is not a complete waste of time, but it's not the best comedy you can see in the huge world of Korean dramas.
