The question of whether love is fated or love is driven by circumstances is realistically portrayed in this drama. What I love is the step by step decision making that goes into the separation and the divorce and the natural attraction of the leads. This wasn't a lust drama but one of mutual respect for the person that is the object of affection. One of the most satisfying endings for a K drama that usually spoils the ending withe the contrite attempts to redeem characters so everyone has a feel good experience. In real life and in this drama responsibility is the main theme. Responsibility to marriage, children and to self are all analyzed in unique ways. Tolerance and intolerance are so explored. Worth watching again and I thank the writers for seeing this drama through to a mature adult ending not some make believe fairy tale ending.

I will write this review because all of the others are very positive, so maybe someone want to read a different perspective.

I decided watch this because I saw many positive comments on Instagram and a comedy is never a bad choice to make your feel good, right? However, this series started fun and there was a very good idea behind it, the disscusion about the male breast cancer. This is the best thing about the show, because revealed the prejudice against women and men who suffer with cancer.

The problems started when the main male character, Hwa Shin, resisted to evolve. You already wait for a bad tempered because this is the type Jo Jung Suk knows how to play. But, different from Oh My Ghost! He will not be so sweet or transform himself in a good guy. He will be always cruel, grumpy, screamer, and the first to make hard judgments about his girlfriend without thinking of her feelings under the pretext that "this is how I love." What is the limit between love and selfishness?

Can all sexist dialoges which gone out of his mouth be interpreted as a hilarious situation?

Gong Hyo Jin really did a good job in this series! I love her job!!! This was the main reason why I kept seeing the series until the end.

The secondary characters in my opinion is in many sense better, mainly the growing friendship between Gye Seong Sook and Bang Ja Yeong, who initially were enemies.

I don't think the Kim Rak's character was to be a asexual situation, because since the beginning it was very clear that that was a "temporary" situation, which happened as a kind of punishment for he were having dated several women in the past. So I did not see any possibility that subject would be discussed as sexual choices issue.
Although it was somewhat courageous the discussion about a love triangle, living together; maybe a soft kind of polyamory.

The OST was amazing!!! You should try listen to some musics! :)

So this series is not a complete waste of time, but it's not the best comedy you can see in the huge world of Korean dramas.

Who has finally a favorite drama this 2016????? YES! Shopping king louie is so far the best drama to me until the date. Yeah, maybe I'm exaggerating? Probably. I needed a drama like this? Absolutely.
Pure ! They are so pure… I just wanna hug all these pure souls and no leave them go never!!

Lets go to start:
- Plot : Something new without introducing new things to the romcom (Yeah it sounds so twisted)
- Cast: ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. The leads are so extra and pure that I can't say nothing more.
- Drama itself: It had the perfect amount of love, comedy and good acting.
- Music and effects: SO CUTE AND FUNNY!

If you wanna spend a good moment watching a drama, buy this! Yeah, spend all your time and hours watching them. Embrace the cuteness of Seo in Guk (what a gem, is this puppy even real?)

Con: mmmmmm maybe the drama topic tips? But Bah you almost don't realize it and I gave up trying to find dramas who delete these topics.

If you wanna find yourself smiling when some of these characters are smiling, this will be your drama.
Have a good time queens and kings of shopping.
See ya!

On the Way to the Airport in a unique drama.

In the ocean of sugary sweet love stories with clichés like accidental kiss scenes and drunken confessions or over the top makjangs with evil in laws and memory losses, I found a drama that is slow paced, mature and tackles some heavy matters with a very realistic approach. I thought it’s impossible to show the story about two people finding love outside their marriage in the world of a very conservative Korean television, so with every episode I watched, I was growing more and more surprised that the drama didn’t change its tone in any of the typical directions, so either overly melodramatic or exaggerated comedy. It finished just as it started: calmly, simply and without big declarations or unexpected plot twists. I agree that the last two episodes weren’t as well-thought as the first part of the drama, but considering this sudden decision to cut it by 4 episodes, I think they did an exceptional work anyway.

I liked the cast. Even though I think that Kim Ha Neul is not a greatest actress, she played the role of a timid, dependant Choi Soo Ah perfectly. She and a male lead, Lee Sang Yoon, had an amazing chemistry. I don’t know how they did it, but every time they touched or even so much as looked at each other, you could feel intense feelings between them. However their chemistry was very mature and perfectly fit for the flow of the story. The rest of the cast was also very good, I especially connected with Soo Ah’s best friend Mi Jin, who was flawed, but that’s what made her very human and likeable.

To sum it up, I really loved On the Way to the Airport and I wish there were more dramas like that. I loved its simplicity and the courage to set the story around subjects that are more often than not considered forbidden. If you’re looking for a break from typical tropes, you won’t be disappointed.

This is my second J Drama, and after watching it i felt like writing a review on it.
first of all, something I've noticed ( and the main reason i don't watch J Drama's ) is that there is a big difference between the quality of their movies and drama's. i feel the video quality is so much better in Japanese movies.

anyways, Asuko March is one of those drama's where each episode has its own story. The female lead basically attempts to solve everyone else' problems, and is more or less successful. Don't get me wrong, i love Takei Emi, and she's the reason i even started this drama. But i got to admit that some scenes were way too unrealistic and even cheesy.

The cast was good, i think they might have gone out of their way to make the actors unattractive. lol This is of course not a bad thing, because i don't think its possible to look your best when you are covered with dust and grease. Plus this is not supposed to be your typical flower boy drama.

Last, but not least, be prepared for second lead syndrome to slap you hard on the face. Romance might not play the biggest role in Asuko March, but its still there.

I hope my review doesn't sound all that negative ( or does it?) but if you were wondering if you should watch it or not, i say, give it a go. i definitely was not bored with this one. Although, i won't lie that i loved it, i think its safe to say that i liked it. :)

There are dramas that make you laugh without any content, and there are some, that leave you thinking and craving a little more from it. This drama has all the elements you need to binge watch because you miss the characters after a while. While the actors have portrayed their roles well, i will have to give the shout out to the writers. Taking a serious issue like breast cancer, framing it with hilarious situations and then giving it a twist of pure romance, they have reached a new heights of creativity.

Genre: comedy, melodrama, romance

Story-line : A bold yet persistent weather reporter who has had a crush on a reporter goes through a series of hard-ships to protect the reporter. The name jealousy incarnate is perfect for the story and the parallel stories go with the theme 'jealousy' well and the second lead makes you go weak in your knees. I would go on but you would really have to watch it to realize why it is worth watching. The story is unique and different and makes you laugh and cry at the same time.

Acting : The characters have been played well, but special mention to Go Kyung Pyo who is the 'most perfect man' ever. He plays his character so well that you cry with him and laugh with him. Compared to his previous soft characters this one made him come out of the 'cute' arena and made him look manly. (To be honest he is the reason i watched this drama). Coming to Gong hyo jin, while the character fit with her perfectly, it wasn't any different to her previous characters and there wasn't any special element and it got quite boring after a while. There is no drama without a mean, selfish lead so Jo Jung Suk played his part pretty well and the obvious drama triangle was completed.

Will i watch it again, NO.
Will i recommend it to people, YES.

This is the funniest drama I had ever seen!! I would say this is a COMEDY WITH DRAMA (funny but with a good story). The background music help a lot in making a funny mood. I laugh mostly when the background music is out! The editing of the drama also helped a lot! I like it when they draw the dog ears and the dog tail on the male lead when he is agyeoing (act cute). Most of all, I like how they turn the stressful scene/mood (people died, kidnapping, murder...) into a not so stressful mood. Sometimes I would just laugh seeing how stupid the kidnapper can be.. ^^

In conclusion, I recommend this drama to those who are looking for drama that can lighten your mood but with good storyline.

This drama is about the story of meeting their TRUE LOVE in a WRONG TIME. I like how this drama define LOVE. The love relationship between a man and a woman, parents to child, child to parents, friends etc. they were all well written. Although this drama is quite a slow-pace drama, the emotional build up of the storyline was well presented. I cried sooo much at the end T.T.

The thing that I like the most of this drama is how they present the emotion of each character. It is very realistic and it makes me think a lot. At first the dilemma is that can the male and female lead be together? Rationally they shouldn't be together, but they were somehow fated to be together as every event/coincident made them met each other. If you were them, will you follow your heart or will you faced the truth. After all the things that they had been through, can they be together? Is it ok for them to be together? In the end, is this the HAPPINESS that they were longing for?

In conclusion, this drama is well presented. Nice storyline, good acting, suitable background music, nice editing! Totally recommend this drama!!!!

Signal was definitely a worthwhile watch, but the top review does highly overrate it. It is absolutely not the best storyline I've ever watched, although I do feel that K-drama storylines have recently become so trashy that this drama comes off as a ray of sunshine.

This is a crime solving story where there are 5 cases featured throughout the story with one big underlying "final boss" that the main characters are getting closer to identifying. There aren't many action or thriller moments but the suspense is great. There are a lot of flashbacks (there should be a category for rating the quality of flashbacks haha. side note: what's with the popularity of flashbacks these days? they're honestly so annoying to watch) but they're pretty well done and you don't feel like you're watching the same scenes replay over and over again throughout the entire drama.

Characters were pretty good! It was a great display of corruptions vs virtue and I think these traits were well written into the character. Lee Jae Han was the STAR of the story; you can't help but fall in love with him. He's so valiant and virtuous, storming towards justice yet stumbling through romantic situations. While this character is loveable, it is very overdone. That would be my one comment about this drama; it didn't feel "new," but rather you were watching a story and characters that you're familiar with play out in an expected but definitely interesting way. While parts feel a bit TOO clean cut, theres still that sense of you don't know who will live, what will change, and who will die.

Continuing off that, while the story isn't new, there ARE twists that are unexpected (but nothing too outlandish or surprising). I cried episode 5 which I didn't expect to happen so quickly.

TL;DR I'm a kdrama watcher in their eariy 20's, so if you're bored by over-the-top romantic comedies and looking for something more serious (and a story that follows a line and doesnt just implode on itself) then I would highly recommend!

"A funny and entertaining life of Nobunaga for dammy". :)

I never expected to like this one coz its my first time to watch historical and manga adapted series. If you watch the first episode, you will never look back. :)

Story: I learned a lot about the life of Nobunaga. I know Nobunaga as hero samurai that's all but after this one I learn a lot about him but in a funny way. There's no boring part from start to finish. A very fast pace story.
Music: It fits to all the scene in the drama. love love it.
Production: This is one of the strong points of this drama. It feels like you are in that era and you will appreciate the samurai costume, that top know and sakayaki style. And even the crest of different clan was cool... :)

Characters: Top characters:
I must say all the cast was awesome. They portray their roles so much that you will love them all, even the villain ones...

2. Nobunaga/Saburo- Wow Oguri Shun is perfectly fit as Oda Nobunaga. He's funny and very concern to the future of Japan..

3. Tsuneoki Ikeda- The BFF of Oda. Aside from a very good looking guy, he gave Oda a very much support than everyone..

1. Matsunaga- okay I think many of you will not agree with me but I love him coz he's so funny. Furuta Arata was so perfect for the role.. I keep repeating his scene together with nobunaga. :)

4. Hanbee- the tactician of the clan. A very calm and dignified man, I wish they focus a little bit more about his tactics. Btut anyway. He's just awesome..

5. Nagamaza- Love him or hate him. He just protect his clan and his family. It really broke my heart when that happen but still I understand him about that. In that era you will be pressure so much esp. with your father.

Other cast that I love: Moru, Yuki, Oichi

Over all you will love this drama.. And I watch it again. A must watch and one of my favorite... :)
Attack!!

A remake sometime could't equal or surpass the original one. One thing I could assure you is that this remake definitely giving a new modification to the original. This remake does not has much episode and one episode equivalent to 45 mins each. I could not get enough of this!

A moderate teacher does not really a good match with A nasty man with an affluent background. BUT, this drama challenge the social acceptance. Both boldly admit they won't fall heels over head with one other. Love comes not at the right time but destiny and grandfather effort give them a chance to know one another.

I assure you this worth of your time in front of the computer!

Ji Yeon – female lead

“What's so bad about a witch? Rather than Snow White who's dependent on others and causes trouble, an independent witch is a hundred times better.”

I like how it didn't take a crisis or a break up for Ji Yeon to put some boundaries in place and realise she can't rely on a man for everything.

My favourite quote from her is. “Don't work hard. Do it well.” More heroines should follow this advice from Ban Ji Yeon.

I really love the feel of this drama. I like how the characters have real conversations and just say ordinary things when they’re feeling awkward.

The side characters are not that important but I do like Soo Chul and Dong Ha’s relationship. Soo Chul was definitely the best side character. I even liked his weird thing going on with Eun Chae.

I think with other Kdramas they take their hostilities seriously but Dong Ha and Ji Yeon, they're always jokingly offending each other.

Dong Ha – male lead

Park Seo Joon has the best awkward/freaked out face.

Dong Ha is a really special hero. He is really great.

First, he isn't rich. Yasss.

And he is a huge softie. But not in a way that means he can be pushed around. He just can't hold a grudge. If he sees someone hurting, he can't stand by.

Romance

So much kissing! Yessss.

This drama really really convinced me how perfect the couple is for each other. I love that feeling. That I'm able to really get behind them and root for them.

I like that they can laugh together. They don't take their pride too seriously.

I like that Dong Ha is man enough to confess and man enough to talk about his feelings.

I really like the noona feel and how Dong Ha is able to be masculine and a bit aegyo. It's not annoying or creepy at all haha.

I love how he looks at her.

He knows how to navigate the relationship well and everything he says and the way he acts around Ji Yeon is so convincing for her and for me that he's a great guy.

Dong Ha knows when the to back off and when to fight. He's got perfect timing.

They’re such a good match for each other. Their interactions are so much fun and you can see that they are having fun too. They even sing together.

The drama was solid throughout. I enjoyed it every step of the way. There might have been some annoying bits, but overall really fantastic and solid pacing and plotline.

Who knew forbidden love could be so romantic? On the way to the airport, or the way i want to see it, on the way to happiness was simply beautiful and so elegant despite the controversial concept it is about.

Let me break it down for you, the drama is about 2 beautiful loving soulmates who, by the time they meet, they already have settled down for the wrong people. The drama is about true and fated love, but in its core it talks about putting yourself, your needs first and choosing your own happiness over everything and everyone else. We deserve to be happy and nobody is entitled to strip us of this right!

Yes the drama, on the surface, presents 2 married individuals who, because of different personal circumstances, fall for each other. Don't let this drive you away from this drama. The affair is introduced in the most romantic way possible without being glorified. It's not filthy in any way, quite on the contrary i'd say.

What made the drama stand out was easily the chemistry between the leads. Not the best i've seen but enough to charm you and make you get lost in the sparks. However, the best of the drama for me was the characterization. Seldom do we see such 3D, deep and well-rounded characters that feel like real people. This is one of the dramas that you have to read between the lines to properly comprehend that is going on and why. Many's the time i felt frustrated by the characters' choices and decisions, but this is human nature, scarcely logical sometimes. Moreover, i loved how even the "evil" characters had many layers but if you tried walking in their shoes you could understand where they were coming from, even if you still disagreed with their course of action. Good writing.

Sadly the drama was cut 4 episodes shorts and significant part of the storylines along with some characters were left unexplored. Still the writers did their best to complete the drama is a fulfilling way.

The drama is so natural, based completely on emotions and feelings, the plot devices for the story to unfold are strong and it is never really dragged or anything considering you're into romance and melodrama. However, there are certain drawbacks that refrain me from giving it a higher score.

First and foremost, i feel that the writers were really scared to actually go for it. The build up is there, the reasons, the excuses, the plot that is getting thicker and thicker, the chemistry which is sizzling but there is no climax. Generally the drama lacked the intensity that was needed sometimes, but the drama was special because of its mellow and calm nature. That being said, this aspect of the drama may make some viewers feel a little bored.

Story wise, the drama was solid, i only wished it wasn't so subtle when it came to the affair and also that they wouldn't deem some characters so evil just so they make other character look favorable. Too fake in my opinion.

Continuing to the acting, the overall experience was quite spectacular.

I've seen Lee Sang Yoon in other roles, wasn't impressed. Apparently i hadn't seen his flawless puppy eyes that he so effortlessly demonstrates here. Emotional and passionate, he pulled of his character impeccably.

Gotta hand it to Shin Sung Rok, for being a complete asshole (jn yet another drama i've seen him in). Takes talent to become the perfect antagonist and act like a complete jerk so realistically. His character was rather unemotional and shut down. It takes talent to act as an unemotional jerk and still pour part of your soul in the role! Luscious performance. An actor for me to look out for.

My personal favourite is, hands down, Choi Yeo Jin; the actress deserves more credit, she's been amazing in every project i've seen her in, but she shines here. Loved her character and the friendship subplot that she introduced, she was strong and intelligent and yet so loyal and dependable. Relateable and loveable.

My only issue was with Kim Ha Neul. Not that she was bad or anything, but i did feel that she overacted a lot especially while crying to the point it was fake and, moreover, i couldn't really relate to her in certain scenes while the plot was crafted so conveniently that anyone should have been able to excuse her and identify.

Overall, this is a good watch. Considering this is a melodrama it's not overly heavy, just the right amount. I'd recommend this to melodrama and especially romance fans. Be warned that the romance is not cute and fluffy here, but it is fullfilling (the chemistry is one you don't want to miss out on) in case you want to see something more "serious" let's say. I doubt i'll rewatch this, but it deserves a try.
