Amazing Drama

Lost you forever has been one of the most finest drama. I have watched many great dramas this one is on the top list. All the characters are well played . Specifically, Deng Wei he was absolutely amazing and well matched with the main actress yang zi, which gave the drama sweat butterflies. On the other side Zhang wanyi played the role of cold and strong character which was amazing.
The story was wonderful a10/10. It would have been best if the season 2 released sometime soon. But the audience will be waiting for it.
I have watched season 1 twice.
Overall fantastic drama!

A beautiful story about the trials of life and forgiveness

I honestly thought this would be tragic and melodramatic and too heavy for my taste, especially since I myself had once an autistic sibling, like the female lead.
But I actually loved it. They succeeded in offering a sober and simple writing, without making it heavily tragic. They just represent honestly what life can be for some people : harder. But not necessarily impossible to overcome. We can even get some joy and happiness if we work hard enough and if we show enough courage.
One of my favorite points of the story is that no one is purely bad or selfish here, like it is in so many melodramatic dramas. The story succeeds in showing how easy it is to make some bad decisions with the best intention in the world, only to realize later WHY this was a mistake. The parents of the female lead, both mother and father, are the best example : Winston Chao offers such a beautiful performance as the repenting father who accidentally abandoned his wife and his kids, even though this wasn't his initial intention. This man is fascinating character : despite the premises, we quickly find ourselves unable to hate this man, as we understand that his intention was never to be selfish, to run from his responsibilities or to hurt anyone. But life struck him like everyone and it's not always easy to take the best decisions or to realize we're taking the bad ones. Moreover, through the whole series, we follow with emotion his progress to redemption and his reconciliation with his children. I like the fact that the forgiveness and reconciliation is not sudden : it is slow paced, which is actually more realistic. After all, you can't forget and forgive being abandoned in just one night. The father's efforts to reconnect with his autistic son who grew afraid to see anything connected to his father due to the trauma are striking to follow. It is unfortunately sad that in reality we rarely see this kind of parents who are really eager to work hard to make up to the children they wronged and seeing one in a drama with a storyline properly executed feels like a sweet relief.
Now for those who don't want just slice of life, yes, there is a bit of romance : although the romance isn't the main point of the story, it is still interesting to follow, despite the fact that there's the usual cliche "childhood friends". We love the bound between Pu Tao and Mo Li and the two actors have great chemistry.
Also the story never stops moving. It is not boring or stagnating, there's always a progress.
And all of the characters have a personal storyline, and show a great performance (except maybe one, but I won't give name : it is someone that I've never considered as a good performer anyway but I'd say that here, this person did okay compared to usually). Like I said, there's no white or black character : everyone has its flaws, its qualities, its reasons, its mistakes, its successes, its background, its storyline... There's no villain, just life.
In short, a beautiful story about the trials of life, family, forgiveness and about the difficulties of having an autistic child in your life, as well as about the happiness that they can bring you, despite their condition. As someone who, I said it, had an autistic sibling, this is a very important point for me.

Interesting, romantic drama, great actors

Hands down, My Love from the Star is still the best drama I’ve ever watched. Personally, I really like storys which are a bit supernatural, especially with abilities like mind reading etc. This drama was so touching, well written and well acted, that I could watch it countless times. I am so thrilled by the acting, especially of the main lead Kim Soo-hyun. You wouldn’t doubt his sincerity while crying only a second, it basically breaks your heart too. I’ve never seen an actor who conveys such deep feelings while crying. Other than that, the other actors also are really amazing and all the characters were acted out so good. The story was absolutely well written, interesting, romantic, funny and - of course, sad too. Despite I’m not a fan of long-suffering, sad stories, this drama is absolutely worth it! Just make sure you watch it till the very end :) I can recommend it 100 %!

Disappointing

Damn I’m so disappointed and what a waste of time. I really like it at first, but in the end it became bad. The story line of their past life was boring to me and it was many episodes.

Also the plot turn so bad and annoying. I skipped scenes and watch through TikTok towards the end.

The ending was horrible, open ending that I still don’t understand to this day. Why can’t the writers this year give us a clear happy ending or not a 1 min annoying happy ending. No happy ending for all the couple, disappointing too. Also, we were in the middle of the last episode and they were still fighting.

Also, why was the second lead in love with the female lead and he couldn’t just love her as a brother, annoying. We could have had a better storyline, romance for him and the cousin before he died.

The best part for me was the beginning before she left with the « brother » and they showed their last life.

I don’t recommend this drama.

50 Days to be her lover

My cutesy school drama ‘Be My Boyfriend’ is about a standup guy enamored over the school “Hot Girl”. Miss Hotness needs somebody to pretend to be her new boyfriend so she can dump her no good soon to be ex. Miss Hotness enters a 50 day contract to carry out the rouse and on a lark picks our “steady but ready” ordinary guy. After the contract ends, each can walk away. He gives himself 50 days to change her mind and to show her that love can come in an unusual package, and for her to let the temporary job become permanent.

This couple was so cute, the pair got picked for a story arc as a couple in the Korean drama Sh**ting Stars. Literally, their arc in Sh**ting Stars was the funniest arc in the whole drama. So many video compilations have been put out on their story arc in Sh**ting Stars. Both of these actors’ careers have taken off after being in Be My Boyfriend, and deservedly so.

Actors are Lee Si-Woo and Shin Hyun Seung.

Actor Shin Hyun Seung is getting another starring role in his 2023 drama Han River, coming up shortly. Actress Lee Si-Woo can be seen in My Lovely Liar 2023. I love these guys’ acting potential.

Heartwarming, exciting and funny

At first I was a bit skeptical because of some bad reviews, but wow, I really loved this drama! I watched so many dramas with several episodes of heartbreaks, break ups and sad moments that I really enjoyed the mostly positive flow of this drama. Of course there are some problems for the characters to overcome, but no problem lasted too long and it all got cleared up without too much unnecessary drama. I think the story is well written and shows many important points of mistreatment at work and the importance of friendship and family. It kind of motivates to keep on working hard and pursuing your dreams. I really liked to see how the woman main lead always gave her best, despite her colleagues who treated her really bad in the beginning. The story doesn’t feel boring and had a perfect length. For me, the romance was very cute and had many heartwarming moments. I really enjoyed to see them grow closer and become so precious to each other. Same for the hilarious and absolutely cute friendship of the group, which develops very nice through the story. The characters decisions were mostly understandable and they didn’t leave each other for odd reasons. Plus, I haven’t laughed that much while watching a drama in a long time. For me, it was the perfect balance between romance, comedy and tension. I absolutely recommend it!

All You Need Is Love.

I am spas-zing over some Korean school dramas that are very realistic. One is Love Revolution. Is it about this boy who is willing to give his all to this girl who is not giving him the time of day. He has a band of brothers who are also “Dateless in Korea”. However, when she does come around the drama explores very realistic interpersonal relationships among teens in the story arcs. You will find someone in the group of story arcs where you will say, “Yea. That’s Me”. It stars one of my favorite K-pop Artist/Actor Park Jihoon.

Story Arcs cover teen starving to lose weight, falling for you friends girlfriend or boyfriend, overlooking the great smart guy (because you go after the popular guy), teen fashion obsession, feeling like you will never get tall, parental abuse, and becoming part of the popular crowd.

Mature adults trying to find love for three months while taking pictures of romantic places in Japan

The show's premise is that there are one or more wolves among the female contestants, and during the final confession, they will not be able to reciprocate their feelings.

Story: 5 guys and 5 girls have a studio to themselves for the showcase that is going to happen when they finish taking 5 photographs. Each photo comes with a girl as a leader, and they can choose the location and who they want to bring along with them for the photo taking. The photo has to be a famous romantic place in Japan. It goes midterm confession, mid elimination of who they think the wolf is, last photography task, final confession. There is the SUN line which is a group chat where they can ask someone out on a date, but allow other competitors to join in on the date. And the MOON line which notifies everyone that someone will ask someone on a date, but the recipient isn't shown to others and no one else is allowed to follow. Each participant may only use the SUN and MOON line once.

Cast: Everyone on this show was incredibly mature and kind. They articulated their feelings really well and everyone poured out their heart trying to win the one that they were interested in. The couples dyamics were really different and everyone was extremely considerate of each others feelings. They communicated well across all fronts including being upfront about who they like and staying devoted to that person regardless. This cast's personality and dynamics were 10/10. Everyone came from very different backgrounds and occupations but they embraced their diversity and were extremely open minded. As a dating show, its bound that some choices will overlap. But when choices overlapped, it was made clear that the person only had eyes for the other participant. Everyone is loyal and a sap and the last episode made me cry due to the wolve's confession.

Music: Japanese shows tend to overplay the same two songs. in this case it is BTS fake love jp ver and film out. They would constantly play the lalala part when good things happened and fake love when bad things happened.

Rewatch value: I believe if you rewatch you'll understand their actions a lot better and how they felt, like small details you missed. But considering how amazing and natural the cast was, I wouldn't be surprised if this turned into a comfort show despite the sad ending for some.

I highly recommend this show for you to watch. It will make your heart go doki doki and it even might make you cry. But it will certainly bring you on an emotional journey like no other. The premise might throw you off but I thought it was quite creative and the participants could enter and leave whenever they wanted to if they had a job so they were granted a lot of freedom.

SIMP OF THE YEAR AWARD GOES TO...

As much as I liked the drama and the actors, I couldn't help but get nagged by the role of Tushan Jing. Man was simping all the way throughout the drama. I had to fast forward most of his scenes to avoid the lagging storyline that went around him.

Would still recommend anyone to watch but expect some disappointment from Tushan Jing if your taste for drama is as good as mine.

Xiao Yao was excellent, the costumes were excellent, the casting was excellent, the OST was even better. Tushan Jing was the simp of the year winner, and he was foolish as well, who couldn't notice Yiying was hiding something all along.

Were six episodes enough to pull off this wonderfully imagined SyFy Action Drama?

Black Knight

A celestial catastrophe causes Korea to change to a desert where air quality is drastically limited. Only 1% of the population survived and now live in a masked world. To receive goods and services in this dystopia, the population is divided into the general, special, core population members, separated by QR codes encoded into their skin. Those of the population not chosen for either of these special groups receiving special treatment are termed refugees. Humans can disassociate from humanity in times of extreme crisis.

The heroes of this new dystopia are the Deliverymen. They are the ones who fight off brutal Hunters, seeking to confiscate these special delivered goods. The Hunters try to steal from those supply cargo trucks called Relief Supplies Transport Vehicles the Deliverymen drive. The Deliverymen bringing replacement goods to the people in the serviced populations are Rockstars to the public. Out of the shadows of this fighting force of martial arts specialists is the legendary Deliveryman 5-8 (Woo Bin) who is the superhero among super heroes.

This drama had a great ideal premise and could have been a great SyFy drama. I feel that the scriptwriter who transposed the brilliant Webtoon (By the same name) into a drama could have handled his brilliant material better. The writer seemed to have lost his way through this potential hit. Black Knight was reduced to allowing violence to take the place of a well written script, in my opinion. The cast was stellar, led by Woo Bin as the legendary 5-8 Deliveryman and Kang YouSeok as the dreamer and population castaway, seeking to become a Deliveryman like his hero 5-8.

I found myself fast-forwarding past certain violent scenes and I was left a little empty waiting for this potential hit to take off. This drama has six episodes. More episodes could have been used to develop the wonderfully imagined characters living in this wonderfully imagined life-interrupted world in this drama.

Just cant emphasize enough on how much i loved this

I love it when leads are binded into complicated fate despite loving eachother , staying together becomes difficult, just my cup of tea.

Now this is what is called plot development, you can clearly point out the influence the leads had on each other.Relationships that help you grow as a person are the best and we got to see it here, clearly Shim WooJoo will remain as one of the unique and beautifully written women characters in my memory, she does'nt hesistate to speak her mind which makes her appear as cold and rude but to me as an audience felt totally refreshing to hear as we in real lifes would want to went out all our frustration but would hesitate.

Han Dongjin again a very well written character, no one can be perfect and characters like these makes the drama more realistic and loveable. Despite growing up under some unfortunate circumstances i loved how the 3 siblings and Dongjin were living a very independent and respectable life. I also loved haesung and yoonjoon.

Dialogues are very well written, there is not a single thing i disliked in this drama. I loved it how the family opened up to each other and communicated all that has happened in their lives so far, we could see how the leads personalities changed towards the end and i didnot question a single thing that happened here the transition was amazing and smooth . I wonder why i skipped it while it was on air but glad that i binge watched it now . I actually wanted more of this but good that they ended it the way they did . Super satisfied

What! Kim young kwang and lee sung kyung were in this drama but all i could see were just Han Dongjin and Shim woojoo. I found myself bawling many times while they were just speaking to each other with straight faces that is when i realised i was way too much empatising with their pain which made me cry even more.

Definetly this is not for everyone, to sum it up i would say this is a melo drama which involves complicated feelings also this is themed to be sad so all the ep's had dim screen tone which most of them might not like but that added more to the emotions.
Soooooo if u want to experience virtual pain , witness beauty of love and relatinships, Give this a try

A novel with ripped out pages

This is the best nor is this the worst C-drama I've watched recently but somehow I feel compelled to write a review about it. I started this with a warning from my sister who dropped it on the first episode because she thought it was boring. It wasn't.

The production of this drama is far from perfect. There were a lot of shaky and unpolished shots that reminded me of low-budget indie works. The actors weren't as flawless as you would see in some mainstream dramas either and the acting was a bit awkward at times. Nonetheless, these actors and shots came together to make one point - this isn't your ordinary school-life drama.

This is a slow-paced and realistic story that follows four college dormmates as they navigate through their university life. With warm tones that invoke a sense of nostalgia, watching this drama almost felt like reading a book. Each episode is comparable to finishing a chapter of Little Women had they been Chinese instead of Westerners and dormmates instead of sisters.

The concept of this drama is generally good. I could have rated the story higher if not for these reasons:

First, I absolutely hated Bai Lin. I admire how loyal she was but honestly, she was the type of person whom I would have slapped had she been my roommate. There was a hint of character growth towards the end of the drama but it was hardly enough.

Second, there was no conclusion at all to Zhao Xiao Tang's story. I love a good open ending but this wasn't just a giant loose end - this feels like the story was left unfinished midway and what I know so far makes me imagine that things can definitely get worse.

Third, the ending was just - to put it simply - disappointing. I would have preferred an open ending to the one that was shown. It wasn't even about the pairing; it was about how the build-up was made. All the hints were pointing to the pair closing their chapter; and except for the fact that she didn't take her assessment or submit her drafts, there wasn't even a hint of confusion on the female lead's end. She had seemed so resolute only to make a decision that was totally unexpected.

So what happened? I felt like some parts of this story were missing, like pages of the book being ripped out right before the very end.

The series was so so... It wasn't that good to rewatch.... I really thought that this series will show Pepper's talent as an actor but i think the story with no sane purpose of it make his talent go to waste i saw his acting before and i must say the plot, the atmosphere of whole series and the no purpose story make him disappear in the series.... While he was main lead and people should get interested in his character but the series didn't justify him... I hope he get some actual and brilliant work good enough for his talent....

As viewers didn't find any purpose of this series some of the bl fans get quiet disappointed with the whole series including everything about it and I'm definitely one of them.

Ruk was heartbroken and he start date Dino after some time and that was the whole thing... They didn't make any kind of drama in the series or a mood that'll engage viewers to watch more.... Even the kissing scenes were too pushy like they're forced to kiss or they're too horny to stop themselves...

I hope they'll work on their skills and give the actors the best as they deserve....

A must watch!

I binge watched this drama in just 3 days and it was that good.

The whole premise was already interesting to me since I love time traveling related stuffs especially to the past of course.

The whole serial killer plotline to family struggles and misunderstanding everything was pure emotional. Even though I kinda guessed all the suspense early in the stage as soon as the murderer was introduced to the story and everything else included, the plot played out so well that i was jutted in my seat to see how the story unfolds.

The writer did an amazing job for the flow of the story and the casts were perfect. The family members from past to present looked like they were family visually as well as their acting was nice.

I loved how the relationships of the parents and daughter, grandfather and grandson everything played out so well including the romance. It wasn't 'outofnowhere i fell in love with u at first sight' kind of drama but it was deep. The most I adored was how Yoon Young and her father's relation sorted out and how she understood his own share of struggle that made him the way he is in the present.

The drama's message too could be comprehended on own's perspective. But for me it was on a positive note, no matter how much we struggle now, we can always change our future by doing the work on our present. Everything we do now we will get the result in our future good/bad.

You should definitely watch this drama if you want thriller, romance, comedy and friendship all in one place.

Emmmmm

I just started and although I have read the “good reviews” so far this is not giving @ all. Of course the main lead can’t die in ep1 but like seriously, the brother of the dead guy shooting all those shots and not even one bullet grazed him especially in such close proximity, puh-lease and then the push from our other lead, who shocker, materialized out of nowhere, I don’t even know if it was a push or a hit and the guy just flew so dramatically. I will keep watching and hopefully all those “good” reviews were actually onto something. Fingers crossed.
I will update my rating after watching.
