Such a glorifying cheating story

First of all, why are actors so stiff, mainly yin? Due to their ship concept, they are again cast in the same story, which is so bad glorifying cheating. Then they give interviews to understand the perspectives.such degrading story. Yin literally got chance due to his face still now also he is stiff

Pure definition of a comfort drama :)

I didn't know I needed a slow-burn romance this much until Shine On Me. A truly heartwarming escape from reality! The healthy, supportive relationship between Lin Yu Sen and Nie Xi Guang is everything. Probably one of my comfort dramas this year.

The story was well written, and the actors did an excellent job. Chemistry between the male and female leads were topnotch too!! Would love to see Song Weilong and Zhao Jinmai in another drama again.

Some find it boring but not for me. Overall, I loved it! It’s the perfect, warm watch when you just want to curl up, relax, and feel deeply.

Interesting with some glaring plot holes

An interesting revenge story where the FL actually gets revenge and plans ahead to protect her family and loved ones. What I don't get is why it took her so long to realize that the boy who saved her wasnt the prince. They had zero personality overlap and she heard their voices and they did not sound the same. I can't imagine anyone's voice changing that dramatically in the hour or so that he left. Also, how did thr general get medical attention? Was their not a ruckus? Obvious plot holes aside, this was a well casted, acted, and directed drama. I kinda hoped the cousin would have learned from her mistake after the prince sold her off to repay his debts, but I guess you can't fix everyone. I'm glad the emperor was wise and npt biased because of his concubine/son..

My July Recommendation Drama

Watch this because recommendation challenge from 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕. Let’s discuss drama…

Tsumugi Aoba and Sou Sakura first meet in high school, where they quickly grow close through their shared love of music and Sou's warm, soothing voice. As their friendship blossoms into first love, they become inseparable, dreaming of a future together. But not long after graduation, everything changes. Without warning, Sou ends their relationship with a brief text message before disappearing from Tsumugi's life entirely. Left with no explanation, Tsumugi is heartbroken and, over time, slowly learns to move forward.

Eight years later, Tsumugi is living a quiet life in Tokyo, working part-time at a music store. She is now in a stable relationship with Minato Togawa, a kind and dependable man who also happens to be Sou's former best friend from high school.

A chance encounter at a train station brings Sou back into Tsumugi's life. Hoping to finally understand why he left, she reaches out to him, only to uncover the painful truth. Soon after high school, Sou was diagnosed with early-onset bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. As his hearing rapidly deteriorated, he withdrew from everyone he cared about, convinced that he would only become a burden and unable to face the loss of the world he once knew.

Refusing to let silence keep them apart, Tsumugi begins learning sign language so they can communicate once again. As they reconnect, old feelings begin to resurface, but so do new challenges. Sou struggles with his changing identity, caught between the hearing world he has lost and the deaf community he is still learning to embrace. At the same time, Minato finds himself torn between supporting the woman he loves and standing by his lifelong friend.

Alongside them is Nana Momono, a young woman who was born deaf. She became an important source of support during Sou's difficult transition and quietly developed feelings for him.

Together, the four must face lingering regrets, unspoken emotions, and the difficult choices that come with love, acceptance, and finding the courage to truly connect beyond words.

So, how does life ultimately bring them to this final crossroads…
Who will Tsumugi ultimately choose: Sou or Minato?
Can the three of them truly find their way back to one another, whether as friends or partners, or will the silence between them prove too wide to ever cross?"

That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoilers.

What I like:
+ The real portrayal of someone who suddenly becomes deaf. It’s not easy to accept nor navigate the world of silence…
+ Love how Tsumugi learns to accept Sou just the way he is…

What I don’t too like:
- Even though I admire how Tsumugi tries her best to adapt to Sou's life, I think she takes it too far. Her statement about being ready to give up everything for him feels way too extreme.
- The way Minato just gives up everything like that feels a bit too good to be true. Honestly, no one is ever that selfless in real life.

The funny thing for me is, I really wish for more BL… Haha… I think there’s something more about the friendship between Sou & Minato than the relationship between Sou & Tsumugi itself…

Overall this quite interesting drama to watch…

Worth every single second of zero productivity :)

I super love this drama. It's gentle, heartwarming, and exactly what I needed. Finding comfort in the little moments of this show. Perfect casts and story, just pure wholesome goodness! Definitely worth to binge-watch!

This is a 10/10 recommendation, but watch at your own risk of sleep deprivation haha

Skip it. Save yourself.

A visually stunning experience that is heavily dragged down by its script.

Plot and storyline were awful. The ending was abrupt too. Stayed and finished this only because of the male lead. 50 eps with too much unnecessary scenes, a total waste of time.

Again, skip it and save yourself.

Dream to you and maybe to me...

Watched the first two episodes and i gotta say the chemistry is there and the acting is great. The high school days story is very cute but I'm still a bit confused when it comes to the modern days plot and behaviours showed...still waiting to see what's they're planning to do with the writing bcs for now i have mixed feelings but still open to it!

Best cdrama of 2026

^ Will I get hate saying this?

For starters, we know there's a big age gap.
I overlooked it and started it anyways because Neo. If that's not enough reason who cares it's mine! He's usually in those fantasy dramas so definitely wanted to see myself regardless of all the hate. Glad I started it.

Storyline so good and the characters are all interesting. Twists left and right.

First episode gets your attention right away!
Being 16 episodes in I can still say it still got my attention!

This drama got no boring episodes so far.
The music is great, the acting from everyone is great.

The leads relationship is really cute and sweet!
Nothing you say will make them anything else but that!

Xiao Wuyi is really awesome and he cares deeply for fl. He let her go her own way even though it hurts him. He still let her choose. Xiao Wuyi definitely made it on my top favorite list of ml's!

Xie Jiayu is so cute and I really like her character! When she first appeared in episode one scene.
Ai Mi did so well in this drama!!

Check it out for yourself. If you don't that's fine too, but might miss out on a good storyline and acting.

This review is coming from someone who is super picky. Speak volumes.

Too raw and real to be fiction. 10/10

When the plot is this realistic and the chemistry is this good, you just have to sit back and enjoy the ride! :)

If you want a slow-burn romance with a storyline that actually makes sense, you need to watch this. The chemistry and character development are on point. Watching Chen Yi and Miao Jing go from surviving trauma together to navigating real world heartbreak is too real. The beauty of this drama, it’s two broken souls being each other's only home.

I'm obsessed, can't wait for the next episodes. Song Weilong and Zhang Jingyi did a great job.

Update: Finally finished this drama and I highly recommend!

Spies by Duty, Family by Choice

Disguised Family was such a pleasant surprise. Going in, I expected a simple action-romance, but what I got was a surprisingly well-balanced drama that blended spy missions, comedy, family, and romance into an entertaining package. For a short-format drama, it never felt rushed and managed to tell a complete story while keeping me invested from beginning to end.

What I appreciated most was that the drama never let the romance overshadow the actual plot. While the relationship between the leads is always present, the missions remain the main focus. Each case keeps the story moving, and the enemies are written as genuinely capable, making the action feel exciting instead of predictable. The fight scenes are well choreographed, and I especially liked the creative use of colored powder bombs instead of excessive blood during combat. It gave the action a unique visual style while keeping the tone fun and accessible.

The leads are incredibly easy to root for. The female lead is intelligent, confident, and more than capable of handling herself. She's a true girl boss without the drama constantly reminding you that she is. The male lead, on the other hand, is refreshingly simple in the best way possible. He absolutely adores his wife, supports her without hesitation, and never lets his ego get in the way. Their relationship feels like a partnership built on trust, making it one of the healthiest parts of the drama.

The heart of the series, however, is the family they create together. Watching two spies unexpectedly build a home while balancing dangerous missions gives the drama a warmth that sets it apart from many other action series. The family moments are just as enjoyable as the action, and they give the story its emotional core.

I also have to give special praise to the child actors. Every child in the drama was adorable and delivered genuinely good performances. They never felt like they were there just to be cute. They played an important role in the story and added so much charm to the family dynamic.

The supporting cast, especially the teacher, also deserves recognition, although I'll avoid spoilers because discovering these characters is part of the fun. The ending wraps up the main story satisfyingly while leaving just enough room to hope for another season. I also enjoyed the final episodes that showed how the female lead adopted her daughter and how the two leads first met. It was a nice way to complete their journey.

Of course, the drama isn't perfect, and there are a few flaws here and there, but considering its short runtime, it does an impressive job balancing action, comedy, romance, and heartfelt family moments. *Disguised Family* feels fresh, entertaining, and surprisingly unique. If you're looking for a hidden gem that offers more than just romance, this one is definitely worth checking out.

Once upon a time, inside a Christmas snow globe with a haunted house in it, lived Kim Hae Jun and Han Jae Hun. In their chaotic, totally nonsensical world, they spend their time professing their insane love for each other. Hae Jun, cursed by the Wicked Witch of the West, can’t open his mouth, not even to kiss or eat. Jae Hun is patient and goes all in, hoping that one day the curse can be broken.

However, on the magical night celebrating Christmas and New Year's, a sneaky figure is spotted creeping up the stairs looking incredibly suspicious. Could it be the Grinch? Could it be the vengeful ghost who unlocked Hae Jun's handcuffs while he desperately searched for the keys? The same ghost making objects move and cutting the lights right as they were about to consummate their love? Or could it be Su Hyeok? Oh, what a cruel fate (season three, maybe?) awaits our young heroes!

I know, I know, I should be spending my time watching better shows, but my curiosity got the best of me. Unfortunately, the series still struggles with the same issues as the first season, though they did at least try to create a plot this time. Knowing what to expect, I actually had a pretty good time laughing at the ridiculous scenes and making up wild storylines in my head. The finale had a little touch of cuteness and a massive overkill of fake snow!

Unique concept

I had waited for like 2 years for this drama
I liked the unique concept of the series. It was fun to watch Sun and his mischief.

It was so emotional to see how much Solar had gone through. Perth did a great job in doing the role of Pobmek. How he was such an understanding partner to Solar

Seeing them get through this together was so heartwarming. When Solar healed at last, i couldn't help but miss Sun, i could cry.

This series was very nice

Set the bar very high

Kinda forgot to leave a review after watching it. It's been months now and you know what! This drama still remains at the top for me

I'm still attached as ever to this drama. If I'll have to write the parts that i liked, I'll have to write the whole plot here.

Ziyu and Tian did a splendid job, they deserve all the love and hype. The second couple were so so good, Chengyu being a green forest damn!!!

It was heartbreaking watching their breakup era, and the misunderstandings, i cried real tears. The director did a great job in portraying the characters.

This drama has set the bar so high, it's tough to bring it down. Must definitely watch this drama.

The ost and instrumentals have my whole heart. I could listen them all the time

I’ll keep it short (I love Soo Hyun)

I’m unsure how to rate this show. The romance itself was too basic and boring for my taste but the plot was intriguing and I liked the twists and turns (though debatable if they even made sense, still, it kept me watching).
Daon was boring. He was the typical audience self-insert, blank paper, passive, spineless character that 3 guys fell madly in love with for no reason. His main LI was a puppy-dog-eyed stereotype that chased him with a smile regardless of anything.
If that was all there was to the show I wouldn’t have given it more that 5 starts but the other two characters really kept me on a leash! Psycho-Jaemin definitely added some much needed spice to the bland romance. Was he a stereotypical psycho? Maybe…but the twists did make him interesting even though I think that they could’ve dived into his psychology a little more.

Now on to my favorite boy, the star of the show - Soo Hyun! He was the main reason I was glued to the screen. He was the only character that felt real bc he was flawed, uncomfortable, dumb and very, very human. He had issues, serious ones but also the most potential for character development. He was confused and desperate and unfortunately made every mistake he could‘ve possibly made but at the end of the show he did come to the right conclusion. He didn’t get the guy but he did grow by realising that the things he had been doing weren’t good and apologized for everything.
It makes me wonder what could‘ve been if Soo Hyun was the main LI instead of Seon Hyeon. How his character development would‘ve been handled and how he and Daon would‘ve tried to mend their wounds. I’m clearly biased though. I love complicated character relationships and I love pining, redemptions acts and second chance romances. I also find Soo Hyun the most interesting character in the show.

Too good. Just too good

This series exceeded by expectations. I loved every bit of the story.

Each and every actor played their roles so well. Hats off to Net and JJ. Their chemistry was over the top. They were so sweet, i could get diabetes

I couldn't believe how funny the series was, and i loved the character development of Nakhun. He became so wise.

It was my first time watching Latte and Kim, and Kim looked so beautiful and gorgeous.

The whole plot had me from starting till end. The last episode was so satisfying to watch, and also had so much emotions for me.

Overall, this series deserves the best, you must definitely watch it
