Interesting Plot but not as much Tension as it should’ve had (in my Opinion)

I dropped it at the end of episode 7.

I like the story. Love plots with con artists who fall for their targets is a trope I like.

With that said, I dropped it bc I couldn’t fathom how quickly the targets got over being conned. It’s not only how quickly they seemed to get over it but also how readily they were to still accept their con artists lover’s apologetic words.

I mean…they’re con artists…how are you going to believe their apologies and words of remorse without enough doubt to create real tension for the audience??

I could get over it rather quickly with the second cp bc it was discovered early on in their relationship so it’s understandle the hurt wouldn’t be as deep but I completely expected for hatred and resentment from the male lead when he found his fiance/husband was conning him??

If it were me, I wouldn’t be able to stand being in the same room as him, I wouldn’t be interested in hearing his excuses, I wouldn’t be interested in having my life intertwined with his in any way, shape, or form after finding out. Yet, in the same episode, he literally can talk to him, be in the same room as him, and accept moving into his house just bc of…geckos in the apartment he’s staying in???
Bro had his life ruined: family and guests gossiping, deception, pain, being disowned, leaving the family’s business empire and he still can support being around his con artist ex?

It was a good plot and I enjoy these plots but the tension and resentment and remorse I expected to see more of just wasn’t there. It was just…a let down from how good it could’ve been. It felt like the writers didn’t know how or were too lazy to actually write a convincing redemption arc for their love story.

I’m sure a lot of people liked it but if you expect the show to deliver in a larger capacity than simple surface-level emotions and comedy then this isn’t the one for you.

Wooju Bakery foi um caos desde o início da produção, mas depois de anos e diversos problemas, a série finalmente foi lançada!!

Trazendo uma proposta completamente diferente e inovadora, a história nos apresenta um universo cheio de alienígenas 👽 zip zip zip

Logo no início, conhecemos Wooju, um garoto que sonha em continuar o legado do pai abrindo uma padaria e vendendo pãezinhos. Coincidência ou não, no dia da inauguração do estabelecimento, uma nave espacial colide com a fachada da padaria e, dela, surgem dois alienígenas: Raon, um príncipe poderoso e muito descolado (Jeff Satur 🤤), e Hachi, seu melhor amigo… ou pet?

Depois disso, muita coisa acontece — muita mesmo. Uns trinta personagens novos aparecem, temos reviravoltas, ação, mais alienígenas, máquinas destruidoras de mundos, romance, arma que apaga a memória e muito caos.

Confesso que adorei a proposta fantasiosa, porque eles realmente mergulharam de cabeça nisso e fizeram acontecer. Investiram nas edições malucas, nos atores, na produção — tudo é muito bonito visualmente. Também foi muito interessante acompanhar uma série com três idiomas diferentes — ou quatro, se contarmos a legenda em português KKK.

No fim, talvez tentar colocar tantas coisas tenha sido justamente o maior problema de Wooju Bakery. A série não tem tempo para desenvolver os próprios protagonistas, o que é engraçado, já que em certo momento eles parecem virar personagens secundários. São muitos casais, muitas histórias e muitos personagens para apenas 8 episódios curtinhos.

O drama é apressado e confuso, mas extremamente divertido. Mesmo sem conhecer os JeffBarcode, eu definitivamente assistiria.

Não é um BL.

Oh meu deus! Um pôster com um casal homoafetivo e uma criança, que família feliz!

Não caiam nessa. Isso é quase um clickbait emocional!!!

Oishii Rikon Todokemasu (ou I’ll Deliver a Delicious Divorce) é uma série muito mais pesada do que aparenta. Eu esperei todos os episódios serem lançados achando que seria algo leve, aconchegante e cheio de momentos fofos. Mas levei uma facada 😭

A sinopse não entrega muita coisa, mas o primeiro episódio já te mostra o tom da série inteira. Foi vendido como um BL, mas se você procura romance, não vai encontrar. O casal principal — o advogado Otokita Hajime e o detetive Iseya Kai — é de fato um casal homoafetivo confirmado. Em vários momentos a narrativa deixa claro que eles trabalham com divórcios justamente porque, como dois homens, não podem se casar legalmente no Japão.

O problema é que, apesar dessa confirmação, a série não desenvolve a relação deles de forma íntima. Não há demonstrações de afeto, nem mesmo algo simples como um abraço ou um toque mais significativo. O máximo que vemos é a rotina entre dois parceiros, onde um deles acaba assumindo quase o papel simbólico de “dona de casa”. Não é porque estão seguindo alguma obra original — simplesmente parece uma escolha da própria série, que opta por manter a relação deles mais sugerida do que mostrada. E isso acaba sendo frustrante quando você espera ver um casal de fato, e não apenas uma parceria silenciosa.

A parte da “família” com a Anna é realmente muito boa, mas é apenas um breve alívio dentro de uma série que, na maior parte do tempo, é densa.

Deixando isso de lado, os casos trabalhados na série são interessantes, tristes e, infelizmente, muito próximos da realidade de muitas pessoas. Um dos que mais me marcou foi o das mulheres que estavam juntas há dez anos — um caso que expõe, de forma dolorosa, como a sociedade pode ser cruel, injusta e completamente indiferente à vida das pessoas.

Enfim, minha conclusão: Oishii Rikon não é um BL romântico, é um drama sobre relacionamentos quebrados, expectativas sociais e a dureza da vida adulta. Vale pela reflexão, pela estrutura dos casos e pela crítica social, mas não pelo romance que o marketing te faz acreditar que existe.

Perdeu um grande potemcial

"Não importa o que sua memória guarda. Eu te amarei no passado, no presente e no futuro."

Eu tenho sentimentos mistos em relação a Melody of Secrets, até porque eu gosto muito dos ForceBook. Afinal, foram eles que me trouxeram para o mundo dos BLs live action com Enchanté. Acompanhei o lançamento de A Boss and a Babe e esperei ansiosamente por Melody of Secrets desde o dia da estreia, em 05/12/25.
E sim, pasmem: eu só consegui terminar essa série agora, seis meses depois.

Não posso dizer que fiquei decepcionada — mais uma vez — com um drama dos ForceBook, mas fiquei extremamente triste. Dessa vez, a série praticamente não teve marketing e, como consequência, também não teve público. E eu poderia dizer “poxa, a série merecia mais reconhecimento”, mas sinceramente acho que isso seria muito mais pelos atores do que pela trama em si.

Nos primeiros episódios, eu realmente estava imersa naquele universo, intrigada pelo mistério e completamente curiosa para descobrir mais sobre a história. Infelizmente, todo esse mistério é quebrado rápido demais, sem deixar uma base sólida para sustentar o interesse de quem continua assistindo.
A série fica vivendo apenas da promessa de que “o mistério ainda não está completo”, mas demora tanto para entregar algo realmente impactante que acaba cansando.

Confesso que o plot do oitavo episódio realmente me surpreendeu, mas o que é uma lasquinha de ouro no meio de um quilo de areia?
No final, eu só queria terminar essa história maçante e lamentar pela bomba que a GMMTV entregou pros meus ForceBook mais uma vez.

E isso me frustra ainda mais porque Melody of Secrets tinha potencial de sobra. A série mistura mistério, assassinato, desconfiança constante, romance e até tenta criar momentos de tensão psicológica. Os ingredientes estavam todos ali. Mas nada parece realmente desenvolvido até o fim. É como assistir algo que poderia ter sido incrível, mas que escolheu permanecer raso. Não é uma série ruim — ela simplesmente não consegue se sustentar.

one more fake-feminist Netflix cash grab

I can't understand what this show was trying to be. It does have it's really awesome fun moments and comedy and cute romance but then sometimes it feels like they're laying it on so THICK, making the FL be whatever whenever it suits them. She's supposed to be super smart and a good lawyer and a badass fighter AND a DJ aND an actress and basically anything she puts her hands to she's a pro at but for pivotal plot points she has the critical thinking skills of a wet tissue?
Man she barely knows seen hugging a schoolgirl --> PEDOPHILE! (yes, a very famous actor would totally go around handing cash to and flirting with a minor right in front of his house)
Overhears ten seconds of a conversation with zero context whatsoever --> MISOGYNISTIC BASTARD! (this is a lawyer who fights high-profile celebrity cases btw)

I didn't even fully understand how she suddenly comes up with random things to hate him and wish to dump him for without even talking it out throughout this series. They keep trying to push it down our throats that she's "not like other girls" and that gets tiring after a certain point. It's so dumb that the ML is like "I fell for you because you're not selfish, manipulative, and calculating" and all she's done up to that point is be manipulative and calculating interspersed with short bouts of caring for him. Also, like... she'd have one night stands with guys, dump them, and said that was her way of teaching empathy to sleazebags? Whose lives exactly were being changed lol i don't care if she has a 100> body count but we don't need to bring in a hero-angle to that too

Her misunderstandings and the way she treats ML are so hard to watch sometimes, like they can't decide whether she's a mature character or she's still reeling from previous scars or whether she's just a petty moron who yo-yos between genuinely caring for him and playing with him because she's a "badass" or whatever. The points they raise about the patriarchy and feminism are genuine and important to speak about but at a certain point it becomes so in your face and preachy. Like SHOW us, don't keep TELLING us how fricking unbelievably unbreakable this FL is. For a show trying to promote feminism it looks really biased to have every other woman except the FL be brainless, childish, man-crazy delusional airheads. You kinda feel like everyone other than the main leads are toxic, two-faced, annoying and tiring-- even the SML turns out to be a kinda sleazy idk what they were trying to go for it felt like they suddenly decided halfway that they wanted him with the FL's BFF? More than characters who had growth and arcs it felt like the writers made them do whatever suited their storyline and helped the leads along.

The drama sure has it's really fun moments and well-written scenes, but it all plays out more like a shallow Netflix cash grab than a kdrama with heart.

Messier, Chaotic... Diamond 6

Bitch X Rich Season 2 takes everything from the first season and turns the chaos up a notch. The characters are wilder, the stakes are higher, and the conflicts become much messier with more people getting tangled in the web. Just when I thought I had everyone figured out, the drama reminded me that in this world, trust is a luxury.

One of my favorite things about this season is that it keeps playing with the characters' moral gray areas. I was constantly questioning who's genuinely a friend, who's just pretending, and who's about to pull the rug from under everyone. It made every interaction feel unpredictable, and I loved that lingering uncertainty throughout the story.

What really made the season satisfying, though, was the ending. It felt like everything came full circle, especially for the main lead. Watching her finally confront her biggest fear and choose to do the right thing made her character development feel earned. It wraps up in a way that leaves you feeling rewarded for sticking through all the twists, lies, and shifting alliances.

Incredible boring

I did not enjoy this show, but it was exactly as the description and trailer showed, it was just incredibly boring. I was constantly annoyed with Jun Fei Fan, she was shown in the begining to be a very smart person since she was the head of the family business and pretending to be a man. But she was consatntly caught in awkward situations because she was trying to be sneaky and not being smart about it. Then Xuan Lie was also so infatuated with Jun Fei Fan that he was tailing after her like a lost puppy but also constantly suspicious of her. Like you cant tell her that you love her and would die for her and then yell at her because you think she is betraying her. Also alot of the issues at the half way point were so annoying, since they easily could have been avoided if the leads would have talked to each other. Also the show a few times had these moments where male characters would comment about how women can do anything that men can, which as a women I think its great that shows want to empower women, but there are better ways to do it. The way the show did it was so cliche and it makes me cringe that more then once a male character told a female character that women can do anything men can. The only nice thing I can say about this show is that I liked some of the side characters. I also thought that the male lead was a really good actor and that even though I didn’t love the writing for this show, he kept me interested.

Clichê interessante

Um clichêzão, né. Quem me conhece sabe que eu detesto clichês, então já comecei esse BL com um pé atrás. Ainda assim, estavam falando tão bem — mas tão bem — que acabei cedendo e assisti.

E, sinceramente, como era de se esperar, não achei nada demais. A série é boa, divertida e daquele tipo que te faz surtar junto com o protagonista por coisas bobas ou fofas.
O Japão raramente erra nesse estilo, e aqui não foi diferente.

O casal é fofo e tem química, e a construção da relação entre eles é bem feita. A produção também merece elogios: a série é visualmente bonita e bastante caprichada.

O problema, pra mim, é que ela não conseguiu me fisgar justamente por ser algo que eu não curto muito: histórias que reciclam fórmulas e clichês já bem conhecidos.

Dito isso, se você gosta de romances previsíveis e confortáveis, *título gigantesco* com certeza é pra você 🫵

MELHOR QUE MUITO FILME DE TERROR

mds a produção dessa série e surreal, a maquiagem a produção 10/10. Me irritou um pouco o fato deles parecerem detetives amadores, quando eles descobriam alguma coisa achavam que era um grande mousse, tipo mona e meio óbvio isso, o pooh deixou um pouco a desejar na atuação, achei meio duro e perdido, mas no final deu uma compensada, e devo dar os meus parabéns para o ator que fez o bom atuou MUITO BEM, mds ele entregou tudo, espero ver mais séries com ele estrelando futuramente, gostaria que tivessem falado mais sobre o casal secundário, gostaria de saber mais da história de amor deles, mas a série superou muito as minhas expectativas.

Gracinha

Me and Who foi definitivamente algo. Mais uma vez, eu me surpreendi com a forma como a trama se desenrolou. Ao ler a sinopse, eu já tinha uma ideia do que estaria por vir — só não esperava uma verdadeira bomba de açúcar de tão doce que esse boys love é.

Uma das mensagens mais bonitas que essa obra transmite é a transformação que o amor permite: quando você ama, também ganha o apoio da pessoa amada e, com isso, se torna quase inabalável.

Confesso que precisei me arrastar nos episódios finais para conseguir terminar a série, mas enfim… a conclusão veio 😭

Quero dar um destaque especial ao casal secundário porque, mds — eles são uma fofura! :((💗

No fim, Me and Who não é nada grandioso ou mirabolante. Ele se apresenta com um enredo simples, que se mantém do começo ao fim. Fofo, confortável e muito tranquilo.
Sinceramente, é uma ótima obra para assistir devagarinho. Mas como eu me conheço, sei que se começasse outra ao mesmo tempo, acabaria dropando, rs.

Ótimo para passar o tempo

Omg! Eu estava à procura de um drama leve e divertido e acabei caindo nesse aqui. Foi uma surpresa enorme, porque ele é exatamente o que eu estava querendo assistir ^^

A história não tenta ser mirabolante ou super original, mas funciona porque é charmosa, divertida e — acima de tudo — muito fofa.

Eu costumo dividir dramas japoneses em duas categorias:

1. os que parecem live actions de anime, com personagens exagerados e situações super caricatas

2. e os que seguem uma linha mais séria e madura.

Mr. Unlucky Has No Choice but to Kiss definitivamente se encaixa na primeira opção. No começo, isso me incomodou um pouco, porque geralmente esse tipo de drama cai naquele estereótipo clássico: o bottom fofíssimo, virginal e nervoso com qualquer contato físico; e o top/seme com aquela vibe responsável, calma e adultona.
Sinceramente, é o único ponto que me pegou. No fim das contas, acabei gostando pra caramba mesmo assim.

O que me conquistou de verdade foi ver o Kota (Fukuhara) entendendo que o Shinomiya não é perfeito — mesmo com toda a sorte que carrega — e o Shinomiya percebendo que nem todos os sorrisos do Kota eram tão sinceros quanto pareciam. Aos poucos, eles vão aprendendo quem o outro realmente é.

No final, é um drama boys love simples, completinho e ótimo para passar o tempo. Cumpre tudo o que promete e entrega exatamente o tipo de conforto que eu estava buscando.

Melhor drama de IDOL

Bem, é um boys love da Coréia que tenta adaptar um manhwa também da Coréia. A diferença é que os mangás coreanos costumam não temer a censura, enquanto os live actions fazem de TUDO mas não se arriscam a petiscar mais do que um beijo (muitas vezes nos contentamos apenas com um selinho).
Isso quebra bastante a imersão de quem já havia lido o manhwa e esperava algo mais (meu caso). Porém, para aqueles que buscam uma série de romance em que um dos prontas é um idol, isso é INCRÍVEL.

Mesmo se distanciando parcialmente da obra original, My Bias is Showing é um seriado bem bom. É uma série que adapta bem os personagens e faz a história acontecer sem muita pressa.

O casal principal entrega fofura atrás de fofura, enquanto o casal secundário dá raiva e mais raiva. Enfim, acaba tudo bem!

My First C-Drama and OMG

I was dragged into the world of C-drama against my will because I typically hate reading subtitles. That being said after the first five minutes I was hooked. I love the Chemistry between Zhang Linghe and Tian. She did not at all get enough flowers for her performance in this because his character is so grandiose. She totally held her own. She is amazing and adorable, however. MY FAVORITE CHARACTER WAS CHANGNING!! SHE IS A DOLL BABY!!

This story surrounds the Marquis of Wu'an a general found hanging on to life by a thread by our heroine Female lead - Fan Changyu. It tells the story of their love, the battlefield, family and resilience.

Our FL (female leaad) is not only ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. she extremely strong, but she has a kind heart and good taste in men. Although throughout the story there are about what seems like a jillion men who seem to fall for her. Totally understandable though. Through her ventures she meets a best friend, a group of rowdy tag a longs that become family, the HOTTEST husband in C-Drama history (at this point because again it was the first one that I've ever watched. )

The trials and tribulations that they go through begin in Xigu Lane, follow them to Li'nan and then onto the battle field. Through cunning, wit, they survive the toughtest moments.

You should really look up the uncut scene in episode 38. I wasn't a huge fan of how it ended. I wish there was more.

There was a lot of court scenes that I didn't care for, but they are crucial to the background of the story. Also, can we talk about the level of fine men they stocked within this show? I mean DANG!!! Even Chancellor Wei! Amen!!!

All of this to say I am now watching this whole series for a 3rd time, however this time my husband and son are both totally into it and watch a few episodes a night with me. I know a log of women watch this for the absolutely beautiful men in this show; but the storyline is enough to engage everyone. Also the war scenes are phenomenal. It's not overdone. It is simply cinematic genius.

MUITO cozy

A capa de Love in Translation foi uma das primeiras capas de BL que eu vi na vida. Eu queria assistir essa série fazia tempo, mas sempre acabava adiando. Até que um dia criei coragem, dei o play e… uau. Que surpresa.

Foi aqui que eu finalmente conheci os famosos DaouOffroad!!!!!!

Eu tinha expectativas para Love in Translation, mas não imaginava que a história seguiria por caminhos tão diferentes do que eu esperava no início. A trama começa simples, quase cotidiana, mas aos poucos vai se expandindo, trazendo novas situações e conflitos que mantêm o interesse, mesmo quando a narrativa fica um pouco confusa em certos momentos.
A história acompanha principalmente o crescimento ligado ao mercadinho (ou loja?) e às pessoas ao redor dele. Nós vemos o esforço diário, as tentativas frustradas, os erros e os acertos, e como tudo isso vai moldando os personagens com o passar do tempo. Nada acontece de forma repentina; o progresso é gradual, e isso faz a história parecer mais real.

Phumjai e Yang são o centro de tudo. A relação deles é construída no cotidiano, em interações simples e naturais, e é justamente isso que sustenta a série quando o roteiro não brilha tanto. A química entre os dois protagonistas carrega a narrativa e torna fácil se apegar à história.

Nem tudo funciona perfeitamente. Alguns conflitos se arrastam mais do que o necessário, e o irmão do Phumjai é um ponto que realmente me incomodou. Ele existe para gerar tensão, mas acaba sendo mais cansativo do que interessante para a trama. Ainda assim, isso não apaga o que a série constrói de bom.

No fim, Love in Translation não tenta ser grandioso. Ele se apoia nos personagens e no caminho que eles percorrem juntos — e é exatamente isso que faz esse BL funcionar tão bem.
