9/10 Bad Guy My Boo

This is an office romance BL series where the main couple being the boss and the secretary. Unlike some series that I've watched, this one don't beat around the bush. It always went straight to the point in every episodes, that's why you won't get bored watching it. Some people are complaining about the toxic behavior of the main lead. But what those people don't get is that there's a cause for everything, including that. If you keep watching from the very first episode to the very end, you'll know the cause of his bad behavior, you'll also witness his transformation, and finally, the satisfying ending. I think it's a really good story with a very good ending. There's even a special episode for BL fans at the end of the series, which is full of sweetness that can give you diabetes just by watching it. The only thing that kinda weird me out is that none of the couples have any relatives. The plot never involved any parents nor siblings, and that's kinda weird. At least in my opinion.

9/10 To Be Happy Ever After

9/10 To Be Happy Ever After
The plot for this series is simple, yet it was made complicated for some silly reasons. At the beginning, the audience were presented with a conflict which didn't have any explanation yet. As the plot progressed, a series of flash backs unfolded the mysteries one by one. This series relies on these flash backs a lot. I think it's okay to use flash backs as a tool. It's just that you need to make it clear to the audience. Because if it went on for too long, it can get confusing easily. The acting from most actors were good.
There was no unnecessary scenes which gets dragged on just for the sake of fulfilling the quantity of episodes. Which is a good thing, cause that means that this series is not boring. Although it's not as interesting as Bed Friend, it's still good to watch. For fujoshis, this one must be put in your watch list.

What am I expecting??

The simplicity of this series carries such deep emotions. This is why I fell in love with JBL, and honestly, it's been a while since I last felt this way about one.
I fell in love with it in the first episode, then slowly fell out of love after two or three episodes. But then I stopped and asked myself: What exactly was I expecting from this series?
The characters are literally in their late 30s. So what was I expecting? Fluff? Pick-up lines? Cringey romantic moments?
And that's when I fell in love with it all over again.
This series is not for everyone. As I've mentioned before, this isn't your usual fluffy, student-themed BL. This is real life. There's very little fantasy in it. Instead, it hits hard with themes like midlife crises, the struggle between choosing stability or happiness, the pain of slowly losing people through death, falling apart, and of course, love and marriage—especially as a queer person.
So yeah, it's not for everyone, but I'll definitely recommend it to all of you.
Bye and peace

Crazy how s2 is better than the first one!

WOW! I just finished season 2 and did not expect it to be better than season one, but it did. The plot was phenomal and everything about the characters and plot twists were so well written. this is a well deserved 10/10 in my book.

I loved how everything connected, and I am they very excited to watch the third season as I’m confident that it will not disappoint. My hopes are up and my standard is raised! As an avid romance watcher, I did not expect me to be so pulled into this kdrama but I was heavily.

6/10 The Last Confusion

This Thai BL series started out very cringey and boring. The jokes they're making were dry and unfunny. I almost didn't want to continue watching, but I did. Cause there's still a chance that the story gets better. And thank goodness that I did, cause the story indeed got better. The first 2 episodes seemed pointless, but they were just the starters. The following episodes brought much better dramas. And although some actors' acting skills weren't spot on, it's still watchable. They spent too much time on the side couples that it seemed like they almost forgot to take care of the main couple. Which had the worst chemistry ever, if you asked me. Ryu seemed uninterested with Arm until the last episode, he suddenly smitten with him. What's up with that?
And Arm also had the weirdest taste in men. He likes cold, mean and much older men?! The plot made Arm called Ryu his senior, when he looked more like an uncle to him. I guess the series suffered from bad directing? I think with a better director and screen writer, this series could've turned out better. They also didn't explain Ryu's past where he lost his fiance in an accident. Which could've helped with the plot. I don't recommend you this one, it's not very good.

8/10 A Beautiful Love Story Lost in the Shadows of Kowloon Walled City

Sammy's Children's Day is one of the most unique romance dramas of 2026, blending crime, action, and a surprisingly heartfelt love story against the unforgettable backdrop of Hong Kong's Kowloon Walled City. From the very first episode, the series pulls you into its gritty yet strangely nostalgic world, where gang violence and corruption constantly lurk beneath the surface. The cinematography, atmosphere, and production design are exceptional, often making the drama feel more like a beautifully shot Hong Kong crime film than a traditional romance series.
The heart of the show lies in the relationship between Xia Liu Yi and He Chu San. Their dynamic is captivating trom start to finish, with one being impulsive and dangerous while the other remains calm, intelligent, and quietly calculating. The chemistry between the leads feels natural, and both actors deliver performances filled with subtle emotions, making even the smallest moments meaningful.
What impressed me most was how much story, character development, and emotional depth the series managed to fit into only nine episodes. Despite the fast pacing, the romance never feels forced, and the supporting cast adds plenty of charm to the overall experience.
My biggest issue is the ending. While emotionally satisfying in some ways, it leaves several important questions unanswered. We never learn the full truth behind Liu Yi's sister and brother-in-law's deaths, nor do we discover who his brother-in-law truly loved, which seems central to the tragedy. These unresolved mysteries make the finale feel incomplete and somewhat frustrating after becoming so invested in the story.
Even with its flaws, Sammy's Children's Day stands out as a memorable and beautifully crafted drama. Its atmosphere, performances, and unconventional romance are strong enough to outweigh the confusing ending, making it an easy recommendation for anyone looking for something different from the usual romance series.

It was alright. The ost was pissing me off though, I felt like all the music except that one Yena song felt out of place to the situation it was being placed in. It was also strange how they did not give Boyfriend on Demand that much flack in the end, I thought they would pull a "None of this is real and thats the problem" but they never really did so it was a bit strange. There was also quite a bit gen ai use in the scenes which was ironic considering they're editers for webtoon artists. Overall though it was a rather light hearted drama with some good comedic moments.

Rude FL ~ the name or this drama should have been "Spring Cooking & Eating".

Wtf. How to invest money and time in such mediocre drama, nothing interesting, sparkle, inspiring. The only thing you can say is lovely is the visuals of the ML and the seaside, the nature.

She, FL, is so rude, a jerk, entitled and act like a toddler... how a masculine man can accept such a toddler girl.
for example.. she is unhappy that she was saved with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and that she has a boyfriend?!?! how he dare to do that... wtf. ... is she mentally retarded? is this how a woman behaves in korea?

The drama is about cooking and eating?! 90% of time is about cooking. 90% about FL rudeness and the rest about life.

So mediocre and time waste.

9/10 Me Likey :]

9/10 Me Likey :]
Overall, I enjoyed this series a pretty fair amount. I will say though, the synopsis doesn't give enough insight as to what the series is actually about. There's actually way more that goes down in the series. I won't spoil it, but be ready for certain things like domestic abuse and grief; which aren't consistently displayed throughout the series, but are big parts of the plot. Normally I skip certain scenes in shows because it's just a long clip of the characters kissing something; do not do that while watching this, you *will* miss an important sentence. Every time I skipped I'd have to go back cause I'd be like "wait what just happened." It's a good series, especially for being Chinese (being they have censorship laws and whatnot) I'm glad it has a happy ending. If you don't watch the after-credits on the final episode you WILL miss this though and it'll be a sad ending.
- MAKE SURE TO STAY FOR THE AFTER CREDITS SCENE ON THE LAST EPISODE!!!

Acting is great! Plot has it's pros/cons but overall a good watch

This plot line is very reflective of it's original source and you can tell it's based off a novel. It keeps you interested and intrigued throughout with it's twists/turns and it's unexpected surprises around every corner. The plot is deep, well though out, and quite intricate. There's these little details they've snuck in there that I didn't know until I rewatched some episodes and I really appreciated the thought that went into those moments. I've been watching a lot of short dramas lately so the depth and intricacy of a long drama was refreshing. However, that's also the downside of this drama. The plot in the middle lost it's steam a bit. While the beginning was cute, had multiple comedic moments that I really enjoyed, and moved along at a good pace, the middle tbh was quite slow/boring for me and I legit fell asleep at one point. They spent way too much time on that netherbeast section and I was over it at that point. I couldn't wait to get to the last third of the drama. They tried to maintain some of the initial comedy but as expected, as the storyline got more serious, the comedic moments because fewer and fewer. ML, FL, and all the other actors were all very good and I enjoyed their acting a lot. I don't have anything to be critical of the actors themselves, mostly a plot thing. Worth a watch!

10/10 Recommended bl series

10/10 Recommend BL series!
The show offers anthology from different kind of modern BL romance. The first season is kind of cheesy and cliche, but trust me it gets better in S2 (if you like, skip S1 and go directly to S2) because each season has its own individual stories, so you can watch from any of them. The acting is a lot better in other seasons too and the chemistry between the characters. I did enjoy the episodes in first season too.
I highly recommend the second season's History: Crossing the Line. It's great love story where the jock Xia Yu Hao falls in love with Qui Zi Xuan a volleyball leader. The characters are very different but that way complete each other, which makes them great together. It's wonderful to see how Yu Hao falls for him, and eventually so does Zi Xuan. It's a great modern love story with also funny side characters. Totally worth the watch, need more seasons of them!
History3: Trapped has to be one of my ultimate tops. It's where police Meng Shao Feng falls in love with gang member Tang Yi with tragic past, having made mistakes for right reasons. The plot itself is very well written and interesting to keep you going with plot twist you don't see coming. It's great character chemistry from the start and Tang Yi's character development is incredible to the ending where I couldn't stop crying. I loved their "cat & mouse" game in the beginning and seeing how they grow from enemies to "half friends", friends and boyfriends. It has to be one of the best BL stories I have seen, and will be watching again.
