Watch it if you wanna watch a good acting and feel the emotion

One of the best action series I've seen in my whole life, a must watch.
It started of well and since its a binge watch and there is only 8 episodes, you can watch it within one day!
Han So Hee did very well, the stare in her eyes showed the pain she was going through, and about Ahn Bo Hyun, he did a incredible job. Both of them showed their chemistry really well for a short series like this. I really enjoyed a lot and I don't regret watching this.
To be honest, they could have done better.
- The pace was fast, like it looked as if they wanted to complete everything in 8 episodes, everything happened quickly.. at least that's what i felt
- The story was good, not best but good. It was a simple story but their acting made it a lot better.
I was impressed by both the leads' acting!
The OST is bop!

I recommend to watch this series and trust me you won't regret it unless you don't like action and emotional series!

Gonna be honest with you- this was just an okay series

I have completed this Korean BL series. And what can I say? I felt that it was just an okay series that I believe had so much potential, but, unfortunately, did not live up to it.

Story-7/10
I honestly felt that the series started off good. But something happened along the way. I mean, I was totally invested in the relationship of Seo Hae Won and Baek Eun Gyu. And then just so, we are told that Cha Ji Soo also like him. But, like you just know there is no way that this is a so called love triangle. Cause any body, even a blind person, can see that Seo Hae Won likes Baek Eun Gyu. What was the point of this aspect of the storyline? Doesn't make sense to me. And then i just got confused at the end because Baek Eun Gyu has left Seo Hae Won for a year to go and find/visit (I don't even know which one it is, cause I just glazed over) his father who is in Florida. So...yeah. And because of these random storylines trying to be told on an eleven minute eight episodes series, pacing here will clearly be an issue. But just because I like the beginning before all of this, I give this series a 7.

Acting/Cast-7/10
Kim Yoo Hwan acting stood out the most in this series out of all the actors. So, because of that, I will give it a 7.

Music-7.5/10
Honest to God, I forgot what the music sounded like. So, I had to go back and play it. And it actually sounds good. But because I forgot how it sounded, I'm going to give the music a 7.5.

Rewatch Valu-5/10
I actually do not see myself watching this series anytime soon again. I felt that for me this series really didn't make that much of an impact for me to say I won't watch it or to also say that I will watch it. It wasn't that memorable to me.

Overall-6.5/10
Overall, I give this series a 6.5. Personally, to me, it just wasn't that memorable to leave any sort of impression.

Adored it preferred season 1.

I loved.the.show overall@ both seasons were incredibly well done. The plot and concept were unlike.any other drama i had seen before and I am.now watching a lot.of.more acrion packed/thriller type dramas and ive found a new favourite genre thx to this series. Though i will point out that i personally preferredthe forst season over the 2nd season, as I found that there were more epsiodes invseasin 2 versus the 1st season that in compariosn to the episode vefore it felt a little lack-luster. Though it still gets a very high rating overall from me.

Beautiful Short Series

This was really something special, with a really unique plot, relatively sensitive depiction of mental illness, top-rate acting, beautiful cinematography, and one of the best OSTs I've encountered for a BL.

I was dubious they could stuff all this into four episodes, and while they don't quite accomplish it, it's done better than I expected. This is a series that respects its audience and doesn't load most of the run time with flashbacks. The actors really committed to this, inhabited their characters, and weren't afraid to demonstrate love and affection - it feels real.

It did need one more episode or so to fill in a couple of gaps - there's one in particular that really needed a better resolution - but a budget is a budget and you have to do what you can. More happened in this than the majority of series with 12 50-min eps, so I can't really complain.

This has the best soundtrack I've heard in a BL in a long, long time. The endcredit theme is perfect.

Anyway, I highly recommend this - you have to pay attention though - it's not something you can watch while doing anything else.

A unique storyline with questionable pacing

I am so glad that I was able to watch this series. It was indeed a different storyline compared to the other BL's that I have watched. And for that reason, I am grateful for watching this series.

Story-8/10
As I have stated before, a truly unique storyline. However, I must say, that the pacing threw me off a bit. Time can be clearly seen as an issue for this series. It's only four episodes and so much had to be develop. And then in the final episode where they just introduce a secondary couple and confusing me more. Like, we already don't have much time for telling they story of Noah/ Zheng Yu Shi and Wu Zheng and you want to go and introduce me to another couple. Who, by the way, storyline is underdeveloped. However, just for the uniqueness of this story, I'm sticking with my 8.

Acting/Cast-9/10
The main cast were phenomenal and no one is going to change my mind about it. I am truly impressed with Yi Da Dian and his capability of taking on two roles and doing then so good. He did an excellent job.

Music-7.5/10
You know what? Some part of the music did stay with me, It may not be as strong as others, but it did stay with me. So, I'll give it a 7.5.

Rewatch Valu-8/10
Due to the unique storyline as well as the phenomenal acting from the two ML's, I actually do see myself watching this series again. So, I will give it an 8.

Overall-8/10
Overall, I give this series an 8. It truly was a unique storyline that captured my attention until the very end.

Amazing & Must Watch.

If you like revenge drama you should see My Name.

The Plot is very similar for a revenge drama. But the performance of all casts especially Han So Hee is great. The Action scenes was great.

I loved the performance of Park Hee son as Choi Mu Jin. He was the perfect villain till the end.

Ahn Bo-hyun as Jeon Pil-do was the perfect partner. His death was unexpected but for the sake of drama it was needed. It fuelled the urge for revenge of Yoon Ji Woo.

The transformation of Han so Hee from the Nevertheless's Na Bi to Corporal Oh Hae Jin (Yoon Ji Woo) is just magnificent.

The soundtrack is also great.

Beautiful in every way

I started this drama after hearing it had a sequel series already completed for it right after. I was intrigued so I planned to watch one episode and got so invested I watched 5 before I knew it. Its a beautiful drama. The cast, the cinematography, the directing... everything is great. And to top it for the story is amazing. The characters feel real and their motivations and the world they live in feel like they have actual stakes. The main leads have great chemistry and are good actors. The supporting cast does well too. The reason this is not a 10 is because the side relationships needed work. To have some couples have amazing chemistry and others fall flat was a loss for me. There are certain scenes with side characters I skipped and missed nothing critical to the plot. But overall I loved this drama and I recommend it to those who love romance filled political historical dramas.

Great idea for a series

This is probably the greatest idea for a series I've seen in a long time. The episodes were too short and the series could have gone one for 10-15 episodes in my opinion. The split personality part could have been draw out and been very entertaining in my opinion. I think both actors did a great job and the music was wonderful. The second story with the friend and the doctor could have been more extensive too. So there goes my first opinion as justified. A BL with a mental helath issue and a happy ending is just A+ in my book. Again wish it was more.

Inconsistent mess

The show starts of in a cheesy and somewhat rushed way, but at first that felt almost refreshing. The point of the show is the two leads, their relationship and the school life, and the show delivers the viewer there admirably quickyl.

But once the schol life starts, the hughe problem of this show comds in jn full force. There is just no consistency or logic in the characters and a lot of the plot.
One scene the FL stands up to bullying, 5 minutes later she lets someone bully her without opposition.
One scene the classmates believe the FL, 10 minuts later they suddenly don't.
And the list goes on endlessly, wiht nearly all characters and a lot of plotlines. Kt almost feels like they wantdd tk make a sketch comedy show, but weren't willing to commit to it in the end.

The acting, soundtrack, set design etc. are watchable, but middle of the pack at best. So overall the show is really not very good.

A recommended romcom drama to watch

First ,this is contract marriage based romcom drama. I prefer these type of dramas. In this drama actually the cast do a excellent job except for second lead couple's boy. He does a good job but he can't express emotions well. He seems to be more childish than the second female lead (his girlfriend ).
Second, I don't usually find faults in dramas. If the plot is nice then I watch it. Because dramas are for enjoying and mind relaxing. So even if there are faults it won't matter. So I don't mind what others say about this drama. According to me the story is very good and the cast have nailed it. Specially Wang Zi Qi and Wang Yuwen. They are really great and have a superb chemistry. I wish that they would get another modern drama again as main leads. And the guy who acts as yin sichen's secretary ,he is also great.
As an overall , I recommend this drama to watch because it's worth to watch.

This is definitely a watch.

Peng Xiao Ran played Jun Jiu Ling, she was terrific! She played a believable part. I was cheering her on. A strong woman, I love this kind of role model in a drama. Jin Han who played Zhu Zan was so good and I don't care who says he is not handsome, he was every bit of handsome. I will be anxious to see more of him. Du Ya Fei who played Lu Yun Qi, I was so scared of that character. DYF was really believable. Zhou Zhan who Fang Cheng Yu, wow he is really young... but he played a significant part as being paralyzed in the beginning, that scene brought me to tears. He was awesome! The costumes, the visuals, and the martial art of Zhu Zan and Peng Xiao Ran were incredible. I applaud all the support and guest actors/actresses. This story could not be told with everyone in Team Jun Jiu Ling!

Don't miss this gem

I guess at this moment this is one of my most favourite kdramas.
I found it accidentally searching for films in which IU (Lee Ji-eun) had a main role (after watching Hotel del Luna)
What a big surprise
I agree with other reviews, maybe is not for everyone. A big film about human relationships, friendship, family, people like us.
I don't want to reveal anything about the story. Just give it a chance and watch the first episode.
Lovely, caughty and breathtaking from episode 1 to 15.

Odd man out

I missed this when it 1st aired. Then I missed the second season. I decided to watch the second season 1st. I stopped after a few episodes when I realized I was not enjoying it....so I decided to watch the 1st season. I thought it was ok at 1st then I was like I'm liking this one either. I foreced myself to watch this to the end to try and see what everyone else saw. The cinematography was great and the music was great (overpowering sometime) . I didn't get what the fuse was about. I didn't like either characters. They cried way too much to be reasonable even in a drama series. It was even in the script when the brother called Teh a cry baby. Oh-aew was of course worse with the crying and totally not likeable in my opinion. The couple never seemed to have fun or enjoy each other. The actors were mediocre at best. The idea that they were rivals was just dropped. Never resolved they never displayed any real tension between them that I saw. Even love or sex tension. I didn't see it. The only likeable charter was Bas. Of course it goes that I will say he didn't have enough scenes or lines. Honorable mention goes to the brother Hoon again should have had more lines and scenes. As usually females were all annoying and not likeable. In my opinion there are many other low budget BL's that were more enjoyable and more likeable.
PS What's the lesson learned for this BL. Don't give up your college scholarship for a cry baby who doesn't study well?

"The (un) Tasty Runtime"

So the tasty Florida was a nice little BL. I don't have much to say because... There wasn't much. Hence the title.I have some criticism tho. But let's start with the good which is the acting and the visuals. Loved it, chef kisses. The visuals were amazing and the acting was not bad, it could have been better but hey, this is their first series so that's a good sign. Korean series are always so striking visually and this was no exception. Now, the bad. The runtime. You guys, I need y'all to give BLs more time, please. The series was so short that the issues were resolved in a matter of two seconds.
Production companies need to give Koreans bls more time, and this is essential for bl stories to grow and have a bigger audience in Korea. It is a fact, think about, if you only have 10 min - 12 min and only 8-10 eps, the development of the overall series is 0-5 (I guess lol), meaning, us (the audience) won't care for whatever you are giving us, therefore, we won't support the bl. Believe me, I have stopped watching some BLs because they lack that development. so please, thank you.

DISCLAIMER: AFTER RE-WATCHING, MY OPINION HAS CHANGED ON THIS BL. I AM SO SORRY

This special double-episode "Bank Over! Shijo Saijaku no Goto" is, very simply put, a brilliant, hilarious comedy!
The premise is simple: two guys enter a bank to rob it...just to find there two more guys doing exactly that!
What follows is a masterfully scripted, very well acted and excellently filmed and directed lil' gem!
One by one we'll discover, in a series of flashbacks, the various characters' stories, what brought them there, their motives and (sometimes) secrets...and the story will proceed with twists and turns and loads and loads of fun along the way.
Now, I don't give this a "perfect 10" just because of a coupla pretty minor details that could have (imho) been done a little better/differently, but I was so positively impressed by this script that, upon finding out that the screenwriter (who's worked, either solo or in a team, on *dozens* of dramas BTW - some of them I had already watched and appreciated, and I'm probably gonna check out quite a few of the rest!),well, finding out that he didn't have a profile page here on MDL, I simply *had to* spend around an hour creating one...^_^;;;
I wish there were more dramas/SPs like this one, seriously! ^___-
