Roblox

This series was not at all the quality I came to expect after playing multiple squid games games in roblox (hexa game, red light, green light, fish game, squid game). The quality of those roblox games were much higher then the show itself, that is precisely why I suggest everyone reading this review to simply play the roblox games instead of wathing this show on netflix (it is not as good). That is all for this review folks. Hope you learned something. Like and Follow for more. Also roblox is very cool (not sponsored=

They blind

In the movie we follow blind man and blind girl who are very much blind and can not see because of their blindness. When you are blind you can not see with your eyes so you have no vision nor can they see anything. It is important to know that they have a visual imparment before wathing the movie, I did not know because I went in to the movie blind. If you want to watch the movie I suggest not doing it blind because you need to see the tv to be able to view the movie. Overall very good movie I will give it a score of ten out of ten stars. (very good and also very great)

The rise of the new hero in C-drama-- appreciation for Charles Wang

At last a show which has developed multiple storylines for different characters. Very relatable charcters-- who hasnt met a Lu Shiyi, a playful mischievous, outspoken boy who is the life of his group but not the most sensitive chap around? A one woman man, who is solidly loyal through years despite the woman not really caring for him through most of it? A boy given to sports not the best scholar at school but the most clear thinking and hence most ambitious and successful individual of the group? I think Lu Shiyi is the most interesting male hero I have ever seen in any Chinese drama. What an amazing amazing boy and man he turns out to be.. Conventionally he is always shown a little less heroic than Cheng Lang-- a little less soft spoken, a little less understanding, a little less helpful, a little less "school idol"; but by God, he overtakes CL in every way as the story develops. You cant help rooting for this beautiful man-child who is devoted completey to the people in his life, is the solid rock on which all the drama of the entire group plays out. He supports everyone and stands for justice, even the betrayer room mate gets the right message from Lu Shiyi. Kudos to the young actor Charles Wang fr a marvelous portrayal

Far from reality but cute

I liked it.
The story has a good premise, as someone could changed is behaviour and personality due to a transplant of a muscle.

It gave me chills just to imagine the business war in Korea! Lots of corruption, backstabbing, etc ...

The romance between Soon Jun and Min Ho is interesting. Don't understand how couldn't she find out that his actions seemed like someone else ..

The plot I didn't like it. The sabotage, the international enterprise, etc.

PLOT - interesting but that is it.

ACTING - good acting from almost everyone. Didn't know the actors but I like the performance...

OST - I really cannot remember any music

REWATCH - maybe some scenes with Min Ho and Soon Jun.

OVERALL - if you like a romantic story that is mixed in a so and so plot this is good

Not a comedy but an emotional healing drama

When I first read the synopsis and watched the trailer, I thought this would be a romantic comedy. Well, I was wrong. This is actually a very emotional healing drama of the journey our ML has to go through to get out of his funk and to heal his trauma, low self-esteem and anxiety. It's very un-Korean to have a drama about erectile dysfunction and have a proud transvestite/transgendered character, but I am loving it.

Our male lead, Yoon Shi Yoon was amazing in the drama. He portrays his character so well, from a low-self esteem traumatized "loser", to someone who found himself and grew into a better version of himself. I cried with him but also fall in love with his adorable, shy self. This is my first Yoon Shi Yoon drama and I'm glad I found out about him. He's not your typical good-looking actor, but he has his charms and the drama is right, he has great body proportion (nice broad shoulder and muscular torso..LOL). On another note, who doesn't love Jennifer! He/She is the best friend that anyone could ask for. Is there a reason why cool characters have "Jennifer" as an English name? I also love Jennifer in "Thirty but Seventeen". Yoon Shi Yoon and Jennifer are the reason why I bumped my rating to a 8.0 instead of a 7.5.

What I dislike the most in this drama are all the medical professionals. They are all unethical and unprofessional. It really makes it difficult for me to suspend belief and just roll with it for the sake of the drama. I don't think our FL deserves our ML. She did redeem herself a little in the last episode, but overall, this is so unrealistic to have ML continue treatment with FL after finding out the real reason for her assistance.

A sweet little drama - just 6 episodes, 24 min. each - about three old friends running a tiny little old-fashioned bar where they help people solve their problems. There's pretty much just one set so it feels very intimate since most of the stories take place inside the bar and they - well, mostly Machida Keita's Amamiya - help people simply by talking to them and nudging them in the right direction.

Machida Keita is - as usually - ah-mazing in this. Amamiya's sadness as he watches the cans with food they use to prepare dishes for their guests disappear one by one, knowing that once they use them all up, the bar will close because that was the deal, watching his friends find back to their feet while he's still floundering... My heart was breaking for him so badly. Goodness, he's a great actor!

A feel-good series for when you desperately need warm fuzzies!

The standard 'cute romance' drama. South Korea is known for producing 'cute fluffy romances'. Best mistake is a standard example of that. So just open your heart and don't try to put your mind into use.

Plot:
A common high school love between a sweet and honest girl, and a slightly bad boy. Well, the boy already transformed into a good, hardworking guy in Season 1. So you can see their cute romance from the very first episode of season 2 itself. The attraction of the show was definitely the romance between our leads. This season progressed to show a break up between them due to the schemes of another girl. Again, only invest your heart in the show, not your mind. Don't try to rationalise their situation. Just go with the flow. Later on they reunite, as expected.

Acting: The acting was fluctuating between Ok and good. But still, I love the cast. They all suited to their characters. Eun Jae (Yeon Doo) and Yul (Hyun ho) looked great together. Hyun ho had the most character development in the entire 2 seasons. I loved his lovestruck and devoted expressions for Yeon Doo. All the supporting casts were also good.

You can give it a go when you are free. It doesn't have much to offer but it will make your heart flutter. Actually this was what the drama intends to do. So, Go for IT!!!

Partners for Justice is certainly one of the best forensic - investigative drama I've ever seen. From the plot, cast, acting and most importantly, the brilliantly shown forensic operations, everything was excellent.

Plot:
Like other investigation dramas, this one too had simultaneous cases popping up which the forensic and the prosecutor team needed to solve. All the cases were intriguing and believable. Each scene is so detailed and beautifully executed that you won't be confused about how the team reached that conclusion. The end of episode cliffhanger will force you, to watch the episodes, one after another. It totally comes under the binge-worthy category.

Acting: Everyone is just so perfect. The entire team in the show is so dedicated to their work that they lack personal time but you won't see them complaining. I am not telling it is correct but I loved to see the passion they all had for their profession. All of them displayed a hardworking and ever learning personality. Jae young was awesome as a rude and rough forensic expert, Baek Boom. Stella Hwang brought just the right amount of humour on the show. Her lines were always in context with the tests she conducted but the way in which she revealed her findings is funny but attractive.

Production: I loved the forensic experiments that were conducted in the show. Each step was so detailed. It was actually the first time, I saw how postmortem is conducted. What tools are used. Usually other shows already show the bodies , opened at their injured part or where they have to checked. But this show was as honest as it could be with the profession of forensics and the audience supporting it.

Must watch the show one time. Majority of you won't opt for a re-watch because being a investigative drama, it will lose its appeal of suspense.

I'll be upfront and admit that there were only 2 reasons why I watched this drama; first being that it was the only drama that I interested in watching on the index page on my streaming site and secondly, I just discovered Bow from the drama with Nadech and loved her looks and performance. Sadly though, I was disappointed with the story.

STORY

The weak storytelling and wasted opportunities to explore and exploit the time travel gimmick was the most disappointing thing about the drama beside the very poor pacing all too common in lakorns.

Nang'ek travels to the future and finds herself married to a total stranger, she fends off his amorous advances because she rightfully see's him as a stranger all the while trying to see if she can go back to the past. She can't understand why she married him as her spec is the Oppa type and not a mixed, she meets her type by chance and misunderstanding ensue between the couple which is further exacerbated by the 2 women that seem to be interested in her husband. Aoey (Mik) treats her very well and affectionately and she slowly starts to fall for him.

P'ek is bewildered by the sudden weird behaviour of his wife who no longer wants to have any physical or intimate contact with him. He showers her with affection for the first 11 episodes but feel upset that she might be cheating on him with a man at her workplace.

All this played out with the backdrop of conflict in nang'ek workplace and crime at p'ek school.

The pacing was horrible as the the chase by the p'ek happened over 11 episodes with the nang'ek being cold ;for the most part, to his actions even though she cleary had fallen for him but didn't admit it to herself. Until p'ek left at episode 12 and my first reaction was "som nom na" was when she finally admitted that she loved him.

Then she finally got to travel back to the past, however that only happened in the middle of the second to last episode. We then got to see her chase him in a very rushed paced ending. I felt that she should have travelled back around episode 11 and then we would have had a funny and light story about her chasing him for a few episodes to counter balance all the episodes of him chasing her. Wasted opportunity by the writers to flip the story the other way, but what we got was episode after episode of filler followed by a rush ending.

ACTING/CAST

I'm not a big fan of Mik but he did a decent job playing Aoey. He seemed more expressive and comfortable than some of his other roles and I was impressed in the scene when he confronted her about the biscuits and left. However Bow definitely overshadowed him with her performance not just because this was a nang'ek centric lakorn, she was just the stronger actor. The chemistry between them was great and was the only thing that kept me watching.

MUSIC

Nothing special and memorable but it wasn't total trash, just generic.

REWATCH

No I would not watch it again, poor pacing, rushed ending but I admit the chemistry was great and I loved past Bow with short hair.

The model couple Xing Duizhangand Mi Yisheng

●HOW I CAME TO IT
My adherent admiration for uniform brought me to YOU ARE MY HERO. also Military Medical is my favorite genre

●FIRST IMPRESSION
Art speaks when the words are unable to explain the magical feeling.
I thoroughly enjoyed it to the extent that I was in disbelief that I watched the 40episode long drama and it just ended.

●PLOT VIEW
I just flowed with the story, it was simple and that's the reason it became addictive. It is one of the best dramas showing healthy and trustful relationships with clean plots. If there isn't a need for the couples to break up or fight or misunderstand, they can solve each problem with healthy conversations.
The opening scene had intense action followed by a drill session unfolding a gripping story. It shifts from the military and medical profession showing intense hard work. The earthquake story was a catastrophe but this contrasted with their trustful relationship. After every patient, they part ways but nature brings them closer. Also, the disease and sister's plot was written carefully, giving their relationship an evolution.
It might feel boring in the introductory episodes because the romance is slow. it doesn’t escalate but takes on Mika and Kelei journey of falling for each other, pursuing, proposing, and the first kiss. they were not charming or cute but has the poise of simplicity. They both are dedicated to their work, so they don’t have time for love, after getting into a relationship they build respect and care for each other works. Although they are mature adults their intimacy and shyness are totally adorable and give unique vibes. Kelei tries to pursue but Mika doesn't pick the hints, It had a slice of life feel.
Shu wenbo and Ruan Qingxia also had an amazing story. It felt forced during the starts, as Xia was quite bold, but as they develop into a love triangle it felt heartwarming. Dating tips for wenbo were really fun to watch. Qingxia was straightforward and lovely. Her relationship with Mika is besties goals where they support, complain, help and love like true friends without much talk.
Xing Keyao and Shao Yuhan developed their love story at their own pace realizing and respecting their mistakes. Most essentially giving the second chance to themselves. They had less screen time but had a good plotline, not just screen filler.

●ACTING/CAST
Flawless, it might feel too simple in the starting but when kept on watching they grew on me with every breath. The chemistry of all the three couples was heartwarming. Kisses were sweet like candyfloss, I couldn’t stop smiling watching them. Each relationship whether it was mentor-mentee, siblings, colleagues, or friends, had some spark to touch the heart.
Bai Jing Ting as Captain Xing KeLei, Excellent. I couldn’t imagine any other actor would be fit for this role. He is the youngest captain to lead the team, sure his sculpted muscular lean body with optimum expressions is amazing. The special police uniform enhances his cool, rusty, and youthful demeanor. He is tough infront of others but shows his vulnerable side to the one.
Sandra Ma as Dr. MiKa was Ace, firstly I felt the acting to be flat but as the story flows in those expressions were priceless. She made Mika alive with her hardworking and kind nature at the workplace, with a shy and cute girl to her lover.

●MUSIC
It was magical, the opening track is meaningful, I didn’t skip while watching the drama. The tracks were synchronized at the right moments.

●REWATCH
Am totally up for it. This slow-burn romance with a healthy relationship is hard to find.

●APPRECIATION
>Two of the most hardworking professions and their dynamics in the relationship were explored greatly.
> The parallel scenes of calm mood while treating patients, he practices in the ground makes my heart race.
>Parade of special police

●CRITICISM
>It might only be the medical cases dealt with, it was like a facade and surgeries was also quick, only if it had more detailing, it would have been awesome but then it wasn’t a medical drama.
> I wished to see more of Wenjing being the only female special police in the team. It had a great potential story but was left ignored.
●FAV SCENE
>The preliminary scene, with the scenario of the first meet. It was intense and a spectacular start.
>Birthday surprise was lit.

●RECOMMENDATION
It is for all those who love simple romantic dramas. This won't make you cry, but teach you how to love and trust in a relationship. How not to give up on it because of stressful jobs.

●QUOTES
I have been handsome since I was a child. It is not my fault, people like to enjoy wonderful things - Captain Xing Kelei
When will a doctor feel useless? When you find you have learned a lot but at last you cant overcome something called Fate - Dr. Shao Yuhan

●WISDOM
Xing Kelei and Mika are such model couples, loyal to their countries, kind, and faithful to their love towards each other. They loved each other selflessly and were supportive of their jobs.

●AFTERTHOUGHT
Every person in uniform works hard to secure a safe life for society and maintain peace. whether doctor, police, or any other, respect them because they leave their loved ones and family to serve other people of the nation.
With that all the people who save us from bad people, bad situations, and save lives, YOU ARE MY HERO.

Got Boring Halfway :( Pls Convince Me To Keep Going!

I started this drama because of all the high ratings it had on MDL. But I'm slightly disappointed in myself that I couldn't finish it because it ended up being kind of boring halfway(??) I'm not here to diss this drama because it doesn't deserve that.

Tbh this drama is actually well written in terms of C-drama land. There are little to no trope, cringe moments, there aren't any love triangles and the main girl isn't stupid and indecisive. All the characters are well written, smart, capable and make very realistic human decisions.

The first episode had me reeled in straightaway and I binged the first 10-15 eps. However by the time the main couple got together, it became so boring. Idk about you guys but I thought them being awkward and shy around each other while they were dating was not that cute. They're both portrayed as mature adults that have lived quite past the awkward teenage phase and yes maybe they've never dated before but I thought that aspect of their relationship was slightly disappointing and bland to watch. I honestly lost interest right when they got together.

Another thing that bothered me just a bit was that there were way too many couples in this drama. There's the main couple, the reporter and the other SWAT guy, the doctor and the older sister AND the main girl's best guy friend and girl friend. That's four couples! I feel like they should have used that time and invested it on the main couple to make them more interesting.

This drama tries it's best to steer away from tropes and cringe moments which it deserves much credit for. However to me, it doesn't stand out that much. It's got a decent story, smart characters but it's just lacking that extra spark and maybe a slight bit of comedy and good OST. I think there definitely could be a bit more comedy and it would have added that cherry on top for this drama.

I don't know how the rest of this drama plays out because I dropped it when the main couple got together. If you're reading this and think I should keep going, please tell me!! I don't want to give up on this drama just yet.

Probably the most fitting title for a drama ever

Brace yourselves this is going to be personal, it may be long, it may not and I will start off with the main points before I get personal, and have the one potential spoiler...

This drama is one of the dramas that made me cry the most tears, making me understand why so many still mention it whenever people ask for tear-jerkers. The drama i s touching, most of the characters are lovable and if not always lovable they are most definitely relatable or just realistic showing a whole spectrum of ways to act around people with disabilities. It is touching it is sweet, it is frustrating and it is the type of drama that will make you both cry and get pissed off at the world.
There where several things that did bother me, among them where how little most of the grown ups believed in their children as well as how many parents acted. I hope this was embellished, and that people are not like that in real life but well you never know, however I will just say that it bothered me and leave it at that, was one thing that bothered me that I want to write about before I move over to the even more personal thoughts I want to just put it out there that I honestly wish people would stop feeling inspired by others handle their misfortunes or use that as an excuse or whatever to think over their lives choices. I am not saying not to get inspiration from others, but the reason should not be despite (insert whatever word) it should be wow that is great writing... I wish people who watch this type of dramas would just skip the inspiration and find the relation instead. Asking you to focus on finding common ground and something that you can relate too. From focusing on the inspiration to focusing on being able to relate or try to understand what people are going thru... when I got a recycled heart I got a (matching )necklace with the words "Not your inspiration" from one of my BFFs who also had her share of time in hospitals. Being able to relate is not the same as finding inspiration, relate we are equal, inspiration may have a positive tone to it but it creates distance between us.

But anyway if you are looking for something painful that you most probably can relate to, this drama is definitely worth a try.

Here to the more personal stuff
The drama shows clearly many of the struggles and honest thoughts a person may have when being diagnosed with an incurable disease at an early age. This brought back allot of memories, I more or less buried with my old heart. I got my first diagnosis for an incurable disease when I was 7, and had a cardiac arrest when I was 12. Not att all the same disease and in all fairness other than having to get revived (meds, restrictions, nose bleeds, and a bunch of scars) my disease was just there, nothing I was ashamed of, if someone asked id tell them but not much more.

However when I got older, my heart started to fail and even though I was in my 20s and was already a mom (to a 6 month old), and aware of having a heart disease I thought it was under control and that I would be fine… as a teen I never thought I'd live past 40 but in my 20s I had a job I loved, a family, I was very active and remodeling an old house etc. Life was far from perfect but It was pretty average. Until I started to witness how my body starting to fail me, just like her, in the beginning it was not that serious (I am not going to go in to every detail) but about allot of medical exams, and a year later the word “ heart failure” showed up for the first time on my sick leave note… the words you will probably never be able to work with your job and we can only slow down the progression that is going faster than we planned… to be honest it was just my heart and the heart is just a pump, a pretty important one that effects every single part of the body but essentially it is just a pump.

I got a twitter account while I was at the hospital and much like her I wrote my thoughts, I went to physical therapy 1 hour away from home in a cab because it was the only place i felt safe enough to exercise having my doctor in the same hospital in case my condition got worse (which It did, several times), until I got so ill I couldn't continue. I thought similar thoughts as her, that my loved ones would live better lives if I was not there,I felt like I was useless, but I also kept writing for some reason, nothing inspirational but more uninspirational. I could relate to the lack of understanding when the disability was not visible yet. I could relate to the showing a positive attitude while feeling that it sucked, the looks after I got my wheelchair… There was so much relatable content that i just could not help but cry a lot. I also got so sick that I could hardly eat or speak but I kept writing.. .And did my best, I really did but my heart just kept getting worse...

A part of me was so fed up that I honestly wanted to die, but I kept on living. It was not because I was strong, or possessed some super power… Even if I used a lot of humor and would say I was a fun patient. But it was not like I would have died if I handled it otherwise. As a sick person you are in need of help, active or not the illness does not give a **** about how much you want to live or die. I honestly wanted to toss all my meds in trash at one point. But I got put on the waiting list instead. To be honest towards the end I was just passing the time waiting to die or get a heart, bored (I had not discovered dramas yet) and just waiting for a change… Any change (and at times it felt pretty near).

Yes I could really relate to her but at the same time the ending pissed the hell out of me. Here we had had a portrayal of a human with hopes, dreams and loved the way she is. A person struggling, allowed to cry, allowed to laugh, shown to have a whole range of emotions. And they end it with look how many people you inspired. So it pissed me off. Many people probably cried here, I just got mad and felt like it ruined it for me. She inspired so many to love their lives, I am gonna live for her bla bla bla.. Just no people. Live your own lives you only have one (okay I got a bunch, but still it is your life). Being kind and trying your best should not depend on if you got inspired by a pooor, poor person who did not get to live the life they wanted…. you are you, that person is that person etc… able bodied or not you are a person worthy of an average life, with material needs, relationships, hopes, interests etc. You able bodied person I am sure you too can find strength within to live your life I believe in you!

Okay that is enough for now… Just remember that people with illness are people too...

Binge watchable on lazy weekends. Simple sweet well written drama.

I've been contemplating whether to watch the series as it contains 35 episodes (I don't really watch 35+ episodes drama sorry) but I'm hooked after watching the prologue. The writers did well on every episodes as each episodes ends with hook-able plot.

Their love story is very sweet and tender love. Each episodes really open my eyes on certain things in life. The drama also tackled all types of people (parents, children, boss, subordinates, friends) which voice out the unsaid topic in life. For this, I give 10/10 for the plot. There's almost no conflicts between the first lead couples and 2nd lead couple's story not outshining the first lead story but stand out on its own.

From casting perspective, I would say Dylan gave his 100% on his acting. All the emotions he portray as well received by the audience. All the pouting / lovesick / sly / goofiness is well acted. Qin Lan also did very well in portraying a strong woman character but vulnerable.

All in all, love this drama and hope to see writer-nim and the cast in another drama. The Rational Life Jaiyou!

A Comfort Drama

Anyone else may find this drama cliche, but for me, this is a well-written drama. This drama actually encourages people to stand firm on their goals in life. And I know everyone dreams to have their own home too, may it be a physical house or somebody, where they can be who they are, in ups and downs. In romance side, Jung So Min and Kim Ji Seok's chemistry is so good. I find Kim Ji Seok cute here. Their acting is great, and I like how the drama also focus on supporting characters and not only on main leads alone. This drama gives comfort to me. I hope all of us could find our own "home" too.
