Beautifully crafted, terrible issues.
A blend of supernatural, fantasy, romance plot done. How was it? A well-flavored, curated dish was brought to me, it was actually good, only to find out the plot pushes me away. The flow of the plot, I find it deliciously great, remarkably done, I felt in constant need for more, but the need for the plot to give me more was a big fail, to my big appetite. The plot sneered at my face by turning a general into a love puppy, "even if his general's plot was not the main point of this drama".
Dilraba was a powerful head of ghosts (spirits formed from obsessions). Now, the plot makes it DELICIOUS "I found it delicious, and from the beginning she's gone down to the mortal realm to make deals (granting humans their wishes at the cost of their obsessions).
Now seeing Dilraba in this powerful, badass role, it was amusing. I found her nailing this cold, expressionless role perfectly, and her transmigration to this soft, cute, bubbly girl with one of each of the five senses was showing her versatility in her acting career.
The supporting characters are making their waves into my skull
Miles Wei gave in a spirit infatuated in love for about 300 years, and like he was the main man for this love infatuated character, not thinking of any actor playing this better.
Zhang Ai, she was no better for making me grow more curious about her money-love character, and I was really debating whether she is gonna be good/bad; her character was proving an enigmatic presence, with constant moves for me in this show.
The mortal world arc was a major world-building. In their love story, I loved it a lot; it was, in fact, my best and the real giver of my rating of this series. It showed more of their relationship, the growth of their dynamics, and the introduction of the characters. My major love of this series
He Si Mu's dynamics with the young child in the initial story were lovely. When the young child cried at the mention of He Sim Mu leaving soon, I was very sad, for that young child draws me into his emotions naturally & in an innate manner. He deserves an award.
The battle scenes were raw, interesting, dwelling on the moment of how the crew members delivered me an outstanding performance. It was innovatively interesting how we see Arthur Chen make a bet with himself to step out of the enemy's zone alive. He killing the many soldiers felt real, cuz he isn't just a general, he is a trained killer. The slaying off the general's head was exceptionally done, Showing it isn't just about strength, skills or supernatural concepts, it is the use of strategy, your brain cells, using the senses in you skull to devise a means that isn't about using fantasy, physically strong to the extent of being prenatural, a means that is realistic, human, believable.
The ost is unbelievably compelling, scarily strong, hauntingly mixed with the occurring scene. It makes me more focused on the immediately occurring scene.
❌General turned into a pedantic love puppy.
We have this strategical general who is battle-wise strong, and we have a ghost queen, their love starts in the mortal world with schemes and tricks and I found it more fun, upon entering the world of spirit I question myself, "why did he bother entering", what could he possibly help her with in such a dangerous an assassinating world, now the possibility of him surviving without the help of He Si Mu (Ghost queen) was 0.001%, that just means he was trying to be dependent on the woman he loves, that could be good to some, if you may say he doesn't know the dangers, then why bother entering a place with supernatural elements when he doesn't have any supernatural powers which he knows nothing about, means certain death. Then he became a pest to the Ghost queen, trivial affairs with no work to do, "Hey, why don't you go to your mortal world and do your job?" I'm pissed. That's all.
Rating this 7.0.

Romcom is back!
Episode one felt very fast paced and more like just an introduction to the characters, their stories and relationship dynamics.EPISODE TWO!!🔥 Everything about it was perfect. The flow, the comedy, every single character representation… I got butterflies multiple times, and the glimpse of what’s coming next on episode 3 has made me so hungry for next week to come already😭 Perfect Crown is perfect as the name implies. I can’t wait for all the episodes to be out so I can come here to give my final ratings🥰
Ps: I love the relationship between the nephew(The King) and his uncle(Prince Ian)🥺
… and Huiju-Ian🤭💘💘

A hot and messy series
Only Friends: Dream On is a dramatic and intense BL series about a group of university students involved in theatre, love, and rivalry. The story is full of complicated relationships, jealousy, and emotional conflicts. The acting is strong, and the chemistry between the couples is very convincing. I especially enjoy the bold and messy characters, even if they sometimes make bad decisions.
Overall, this drama is entertaining, with a lot of drama, romance, and tension—perfect for people who like complex and emotional BL stories.

Choose the other one.
Song Kang as the philandering ML? Nope. SK just doesn’t have the bad-boy vibe. He’s too smiley and handsome and squeaky clean. A girl could take him home to meet her family and he’d probably become best friends with her little brother. And that silly tattoo doesn’t help either. A real player would have something cool and tough. Only a teenage girl would be proud of that butterfly.
The story ...
A lot of ups and downs, then surprise, surprise, the butterfly idiot wins over the FL (again) and they live happily ever after, or not.
The poor old 2ML misses out - just like in real life where nice guys finish last. Boo hoo.

And honestly, watching the male lead make different decisions the second time around felt so… satisfying and relieving. Like finally seeing someone correct the mistakes we all wish we could undo.
The story is engaging, the characters are strong, and the drama blends politics, courtroom tension, action, a hint of romance, and even some light humor pretty well. It keeps things interesting without feeling too heavy all the time.
What I liked most is how it shows that one decision can change everything — and how courage to choose differently can actually rewrite your life.
If you’re into time-travel dramas with a legal/political twist, this one is definitely worth checking out. ⚖️✨
P.S. – This drama will definitely make you think: If I got a second chance… what would I change? 😌

Both leads delivered. IU is, as expected, so good. She brings so much nuance and emotion to her character without overdoing it, she's fierce and so beautiful, that I have to take screenshots some of the scene 😌 And Byeon Wooseok really understood Lee Ahn his performance is controlled and layered, fitting a composed, repressed, and tragic prince perfectly.
The story is also fast-paced, which I love. It doesn’t drag, and it keeps you engaged the whole time.
Honestly, I feel like some of the criticism is coming from people who either haven’t watched it properly or don’t understand the characters. Because once you actually watch it in context, everything makes sense.
I’m seated for this drama

You'll fall in love with it slowly
when I started this series I rly liked the synopsis and the little twists and turns of the storyand now after completing, it almost feels magical , I always loved this actor but felt like he needed a story and a partner that matches his emotions in the same way he does every time.
I finally found it , the actress rly did such a great job portraying the FL's emotions the story rly suited them ( it was my first time watching her drama)
I loved the pacing of it as well, contrary to popular believes that it was too slow , it's just the right amount for an introvert I do connect with them they're rly so cute together and perfectly matched each other.
the post credit scenes after most of the episodes were just as beautiful
the side characters and their story were so good as well not too weird characters just the right amount
even the SML was adorable
I consider it a rly wholesome comfort watch for when I needed the most
waiting everyday for episodes to release was a joy in itself

The Immortal Ascension Earns Its Place Among Xianxia’s Best
I don’t give rave reviews lightly, but The Immortal Ascension stands out. It's a gripping odyssey of breaking free from the shackles of fate to forge your own path. A rare xianxia that stays grounded despite increasingly heavy CGI, and feels refreshingly free of toxic tropes, with a more male-centric focus in an industry that leans heavily toward female audiences. We follow Han Li, a lowly peasant with poor spiritual roots/magical potential, as he ascends the cultivation ladder through ambition, willpower, and cunning pragmatism - hardened by early betrayal, tempered by an unshakable moral core, and enabled by a single, extraordinary stroke of fortune that turns his limitations into fuel for his rise.
Romance is deliberately restrained, reflecting the cold realities of the cultivation world, yet still delivers a deep range of emotions. His connections with a gentle mortal, an admiring senior sister, and others feel meaningful but fleeting, while his bond with Nangong Wan stands apart as the only relationship to fully transcend that distance. Each carries a quiet emotional weight and lingering regret, reinforcing that love is a luxury in a harsh, unforgiving world - and that some bonds are destined to be left behind.
Visually striking, with a strong musical score, solid pacing, and a compelling lead, this is the best xianxia adaptation in years. It ends on a cliffhanger and fully earns a sequel. Highly recommended!

Perfection
You Are My Fateful Love is a heartfelt romantic drama that explores how unexpected circumstances can bring two completely different people together. What begins as a relationship built on coincidence and obligation gradually transforms into something genuine and deeply emotional. The story does a good job of showing how love doesn’t always start perfectly, but can grow through patience, understanding, and shared experiences. One of the strongest aspects of the drama is its character development. The female lead starts off as someone underestimated and overlooked, but over time she gains confidence and strength. Watching her growth feels rewarding and realistic. The male lead, on the other hand, begins as distant and emotionally guarded, but slowly becomes more open and caring. Their journey together feels natural, even with the misunderstandings and conflicts that arise along the way.
The drama also balances humor and emotion effectively. There are many lighthearted moments that make the story enjoyable, but it doesn’t shy away from serious themes like heartbreak, responsibility, and personal growth. This mix keeps the story engaging and relatable.
However, at times, the pacing can feel slightly slow, especially in the middle episodes where misunderstandings are repeated. Some plot developments may also feel predictable, especially for viewers familiar with similar romance tropes. Despite this, the emotional payoff towards the end makes it worth watching.
Overall, You Are My Fateful Love is a touching drama that highlights the idea that love can come from the most unexpected situations. It’s a story about growth, forgiveness, and the power of fate, making it a satisfying watch for fans of romantic dramas.

What impressed me most was actually the editing
Overall this was a good plot with nice romance growth and just enough but not too much boring toxic family drama to keep the plot moving. The actress that plays FL is so cute and ML is so sweet. I have to specifically give props to the editors of this one and their well done editing, especially in the beginning. I loved the added drawn-in CGI and the way they were able to portray the scene having dialogue in the background while and interestingly portraying the main characters without just watching them talk. It was very interesting and very artfully done. There was less of the flashy editing later in the drama but there were still a couple scenes where I thought the editing was interestingly done. Was this review helpful to you?

Didn't know what to expect and came out pleasantly surprised
So I went into this thinking it was another typical short drama and really only started it cause I recognize the two main actors and have liked their previous works. I didn't really know what to expect but this drama ended up surprising me in many ways. First of all, this was a whopping 4 hours long which is way longer than the usual 1.5-2.5hr short drama. All this extra time allowed the story to be more intricate and detailed. Good for overall plot explanation (but it did get a bit boring and drawn out in the middle where plot progression was a bit too slow for me.) Next, the actors were all very good, even the supporting cast who played their characters so well. Loved how strong FL is and the overall message of the plot fighting for female power. ML was so good playing both a cute puppy and then a captivating bad boy. Actually wished there were more of when he was in his serious fierce attitude mode cause it's damn hot. The ending was actually pretty satisfying too which I can't say about most short dramas. It made sense and didn't feel too rushed. Overall pretty good drama for me!Was this review helpful to you?

Good Kdrama
I finished Good Boy in just a few days.I got hooked right away. As someone who loves police/cop themes in K-dramas, I’m really satisfied with the result.
My thoughts on the main characters:
Dong-Ju – His character was really well played. Great acting! I didn’t know the actor before, but he nailed it the humor, the determination, the romance… I was genuinely surprised and very impressed with his performance!
Han Na – Also very well acted. I already knew the actress and I think she always delivers, but she was even better in this series. The love story with Dong-Ju is super cute. I also loved how they handled the story about her father’s death (that she learns thanks to the Russian guy) and her reaction to it. The scenes were amazing!
Ju-Yeong – This guy was incredible. I didn’t know the actor before, but I was pleasantly surprised. He perfectly embodied the villain pure evil and viciousness. Though I have to say, for someone so powerful in the gang/drug world, he got beaten up a lot 😂
Man Sik – Such a funny character. He has no idea how to handle a reckless young guy who loves beating people up 😭 But still very likable overall.
Overall, I loved the story. My favorite parts were:
- The moment Dong-Ju fails to take down Ju-Yeong
- The convoy attack
- When he goes to see Ju-Yeong and willingly gets beaten up so his team doesn’t get disbanded
- The phase where he hides from the team (especially the scene where he hides his face in the police station) it really felt real
- The emotional scene when everyone finds out what he did
- The intense sequence where he gets beaten, drugged, fights to survive, and ends up in a coma I was so hyped for the next episodes!
- When he loses his sight and tries to hide it from Han Na (that was really touching)
- All the heartwarming moments when Han Na and the others take care of him
- The ending when he wakes up from the coma and rejoins everyone to confront Ju-Yeong everyone got their heroic moment!
- The final scene where he goes after Ju-Yeong was insane (though I would’ve loved a proper fight between them 😂)
In short, I strongly recommend it!!

I really like this actor but I really don't like this drama
I like this ML actor and that's why I watched this but this plot annoys me so much. ML character be doing a lot of red flag behaviors but somehow it's ok cause he's hot and it shouldn't be like that. Any other regular looking dude acting like that and he'd be categorized as a creep. He's just taking advantage of the FL who is annoyingly too weak to do anything herself and falls for him not cause he's actually any good but just cause he was fake nice to her. But then they somehow actually fall in love? She basically sold herself and then falls for the guy. Their relationship growth doesn't make sense and it annoys me that after knowing that he was the one behind it all that she just took him back in the end so easily. Them trying to make it seem like there's a big age difference between them also makes this drama uncomfortable to watch. Yea she's suppose to be in college and in her early 20s but they have FL acting like a child and it's a bit messed up. Very disappointed. Was this review helpful to you?
Bloodhounds 2 my opinion
I just want to say first, I loved Bloodhounds season 1 and I love the cast of both season 1 and season 2.In my opinion, and maybe I'm just being a scary baby about it, but Bloodhounds 2 is hard to watch because of the realistic fight scenes, and I don't like seeing my two favorite main characters get hit like that. I'm only on episode 2 because I have to keep pausing because the fight scenes are hard for my scary self to watch. I'm yelling at the TV acting a "fool". I'm afraid to keep watching, LOL. Jesus make it stop! I don't know if I can take it!
