i am not familiar in all the cast but at the end its make me realize how nice cast they are in this drama, the edit of story line vs. the novel was not bad in my own opinion, the lightning effect venue the arena the OST, the name of teams the opponents the Characters was so nice, the story line was highly focus on gaming, but its so interesting even you are not a fan of gaming like me but its make you realize how nice it was , all characters are unique , the production team need to be highly praised, the friendship with support courage respect concern and love to each other was so admirable and funny and also YANG YANG did so great her also he is so amazing in this drama he is great the story was great i am sure you will like this awesome drama.

My Lovely Liar - A Mixed Bag of Charm and Frustration

My Lovely Liar" is a drama that falls into the category of cute but not necessarily great. While it boasts a decent plot with enough going on to keep viewers engaged, it struggles in some crucial areas that prevent it from reaching its full potential.

The storyline, though not groundbreaking, manages to hold its own with a variety of elements at play. However, the pacing might not suit those seeking a faster narrative, as it tends to unfold at a more leisurely pace. The central romantic couple avoids the typical lovey-dovey clichés, providing a refreshing change for those tired of the usual tropes in romantic dramas.

One of the glaring issues lies in the portrayal of the male lead. While some attribute the awkwardness to the actor's performance, it appears that the character itself is poorly written. This flaw becomes a noticeable hindrance to the overall viewing experience, leaving audiences questioning the depth and authenticity of the character.

On the other hand, the female lead adds an intriguing dynamic with her unique powers. However, the charm is somewhat offset by her basic dialogue, failing to capitalize on the potential richness of her character. The juxtaposition of a fascinating ability with lackluster lines leaves viewers yearning for more depth and complexity.

The standout disappointment, as pointed out by many, is the dialogue. In comparison to recent hits like "Doom at Your Service," "My Lovely Liar" falls short in delivering compelling and memorable lines. The lackluster dialogue fails to elevate key emotional moments and robs the characters of the opportunity to shine.

Perhaps the biggest obstacle for "My Lovely Liar" is its unfortunate timing, especially for those who have recently watched more gripping dramas. The comparison to superior productions highlights its shortcomings, especially in the realm of character development and dialogue.

In conclusion, "My Lovely Liar" is not a drama to be dismissed outright. It carries a certain charm with its cute moments and a decent plot. However, its struggles with a poorly written male lead, basic dialogue, and the shadow of recently acclaimed dramas make it fall short of being a standout in its genre.

Why is this popular?

When I first started watching this bl I loved it. That was before I noticed the flaws and problems this drama has. I get that people like this shoe because of the actors and their chemistry, but that isn't an excuse for the fact that this drama has a lot problems.

1. TYPE'S BEHAVIOR
I saw people defending Type's behavior because of his trauma and because he has "anger issues." While, I agree that Type's traumatic experience should not overlooked or ignored, but I don't think it can excuse the fact that he hit, punched, slapped, and kicked Tharn, many times. He didn't even apologize to after. Something I saw people overlooking was that way Type treated the girls he "dated." Many people ignored the fact that she deserved an explanation as to why he led her on.

2. ROMANTICIZING SEXUAL ASSAULT
In the first few episodes, this is shown. Tharn kisses Type while he is asleep. He even went as far to leave hickeys, while Type was drunk. At this time they were not friends and Type definitely didn't like Tharn. Tharn also initiates kisses and sex despite Type telling him to get off and let him go. Type didn't give consent to any of this. This borderline sexual assault/ molestation. They didn't even address the problem in any of following episodes, like it's a normal thing to do, which it is not.

3. HORRIBLE ANTAGONIST
I saw may fans loved the antagonist, Lhong. I definitely agree that the actor is not bad, but his character is. I don't understand why the show wants to feel sorry for him. Maybe they forgot that he singlehandedly ruined his best friend's relationships. Did they forget that he paid men to RAPE a boy? He also used the tape of the rape and used it as blackmail. They probably forgot that he tried to MURDER Type. Hopefully next time they don't forgot. His actions are not justifiable , just because he was a victim of unrequited love.

There's more problems, but I'm not even going to get into those.

Sweet and HOT but may be missing a plot...

This is a really sweet drama filled with cute couples and sweet, sweet (thirsty) moments... But I am honestly not really sure about what the main plot is here... And it does leave you with a whole bunch of questions that fit the name of the drama

Why R U, writing a BL about your brother- The "writer" is actually a really playful fun character and I would most certainly have understood if it was a friend who wrote it but sister, just felt odd...

Why R U editing this way? this drama is the master of slomo, montage and triple everything... making sure we will not miss a kiss, a touch or a fluffy scene... we get to see every kiss three times (in a row) + maybe in a montage or ten,,,

Why R U so many? This drama has so many couples it is hard to keep track of them while all are sweet (maybee to quick and odd too) they feel unnecessary and just make this messy. I do however support them all having dramas of their own someday (if they have not yet)

Ok enough with the Why R Us... This is an enjoyable watch with a lot of beautiful shots, lovely scenery and beautiful fun characters and a sweet cat (and a kitten in the background).

The main couple is so much fun to watch, yet mr fighter does need to get a bit better at controlling himself.. but he does get points for mostly espiering to gaining consent, except for that one time... oh and that other time... but in between those times he does try to respect Tutors boundaries.

Tutor is such a fun character, charming, smart, fun but a bit of a scardy cat...

The second couple is just so much fun, sweet, talented and definitely the source of many laughs.. that the product placement and the photo angels had me laughing so I almost peed a little...

And well those are the highlights without spoiling, this was fun to watch but prepare yourself for a mess and 0 depth...

The gift that keeps on giving

This is literally not only the best k drama that I have ever seen, but also the best series.
It made you think and took to to all sorts of places. I don't want to give out any spoilers, but if you haven't watched it, you haven't lived!! Brilliant acting from Lee Hee Jun and Lee Seung Gi, brilliant script and writing and of course the direction.
I would recommend that you take notes though because I had to!!!
It's dark, dangerous and atmospheric- I was really impressed by Lee Seung Gi's acting- and I am really looking forward to his next acting project after this because I did not know that he could do that!! Good move to pick such an unconventional role- it really sets him apart from his peers.

Amazing!!!! Loved it!!!

This is my very first time giving overall and rewatch value as 10 without even thinking. The anticipation, excitement, every feeling i felt when i saw this drama loved it. All character were perfect no matter what their roles is,no matter how big or small their role is they nailed their performance. The cast was very well casted and they nailed their role gave their full efforts. There is few song of this drama and its good.

15 eps , a well written script, not too less and not much scenes or story plot. At 1st ep , i was very confused and for few eps i was confused with the character about the loop. It was like what i felt ,the character are conveying that in show in the first few eps ( if the one who already watched the show understand this feeling?) but it was okay. Everthing made sense. Just keep your head clear and you will be able to put things together easily then. Like i said good script , they made sure what they showed was revelant to plot in every sense.

My time spent in the drama and the waiting i did for the eps was well deserved and worth it. End was satisfactory even though i wanted to how they explained the police at the very end and all (but not at the same time as i feared they will be taken as accomplice or something?) but still satisfactory.

Loved this drama, i underestimated this drama but as the saying goes never judge book by its cover in this case a drama.

If you want to know whether you want to/ can/should watch this drama or not then you can definately watch it. It will be worth of your time atleast it was for me!!! So go ahead and i hope you all like this drama and also i hope the review was useful to you.

Best BL every. Amazing love story, deep, sad, romantic and yes, a happy ending

I can't believe how much I've cried watching this series. Kinda reminds me of the tears I shed when watching Goblin (Korean drama).

From all the dramas recommended, I've never come across Until We Meet Again. I saw it during a random search of bl dramas on google and by far this is the best I've ever watched. Better than Manner of Death (who knew).

The story line alone is just captivating and it tackles what gay people go through everyday. It's high time the society becomes more welcoming. (Enough, I shouldn't go into this).

Pharm's role was the hardest. It involved a lot of emotional scenes and he was able to pull it off. I mean, I felt him and each time he cried I cried as well, or got really sad. The last episode when he met Korn's dad, his emotional turmoil, I died! I cannot imagine someone else acting this role. Plus his small body was in sync with Dean's ;)
Dean on the other hand, oh my! Gorgeous. gorgeous, gorgeous to begin with and great acting. Having to be tough and emotional is hard and he pulled it off and he was also a great support pillar for Pharm. I love how he would console him when he cried and how he was not freaked out by it (esp the first time they met at the supermarket) but would wipe his tears away.
These two had the best chemistry. The way they would stare at each other, the world froze for real. Just watching them together gave me goosebumps. Did I say I love Pharm's smile? There you go! It's contagious

Team and Win - (I love Win's tattoos (it's a pity if they're fake), his smile, his body, his hair, his face …) had amazing chemistry. It's not enough though for them to be the main leads in a drama but it blended well with this drama and kinda made us recover from Dean and Pharm's emotional torture (to me of course. Time to wipe my tears and blow my nose :))

Overall, I'm happy it had a happy ending. They deserved a happy ending and I'm happy their parents were not against their relationship. Korn's and In's dads were enough.

I'd give a 10/10 to this writer and also 10/10 to the cast. They did not disappoint.
The music made me cry even more. Well suited for this drama.

I would watch this drama repeatedly and not skip a single episode.

Ps. It had few raunchy scenes (God knows how much I love those) but what was there is enough.

okay so this is my first review and im gonna be honest.

i was really excited for this drama because it had all of my favorite actors. Nam Joo Hyuk, Krystal, Im Joo Hwan AND Gong Myung.

The story was actually good and funny at the starting but in the end it got so boring. The story wasnt progressing at all, An episode is of one hour but it looked like 2 hours of even more than that.

In the end, i was so confused and disappointed that how did the story script even get such good actors.

I hope all these actors' next drama is good and gets better ratings.

Do you want a good revenge drama?
Do you like cliff-hangers that keep you watching?
Well, then you're in the right place because this has been the best and most satisfying revenge drama that I have ever watched. This show is so satisfying because just when the opposing side thinks they have the upper hand, Pil Joo comes in and reminds them that they don't. It is so satisfying to watch the opposing side come up with all these plans to ruin Pil Joo, but he is always one step ahead of them. Remember, if you try to mess with Pil Joo, you'll be the one to end up in the ground!
The story and cast were amazing, and the music deserves some kind of award! The only reason this isn't a full on 10/10 (like it should be) is because once the secret is revealed to basically everyone, I didn't really have anything to look forward to anymore so it got kind of boring, but only slightly!
Highly recommend!!

There's something magical in the simplicity of this storyline that made it captivating from start to finish.
Each character had it's place and time to grow and I really appreciated the effort to do so in such a short drama. The fact that we do have mains, but they didn't overshadow the other characters was another plus for me. I enjoyed seeing the intertwine of relationship -from forming, being destroyed, put back together- showcased between both the main characters love line, and the other members of the package tour.
This drama wasn't over the top in any way but tasteful and highly realistic... we have a couple on the brink of separation, an older couple faced with the possible loss of one partner, another that looks promiscuous from the outside, but is actually very organic and lovable, and a newly forming one out of tragic love behind them. All four couples compliment, guide, encourage, speak truths and appreciate each other by the end that I was overwhelmed by the family aspect of the travellers and their guide in the final episode.
Romantically, the natural succession of Yoon So So and San Ma Ru into dating whilst on this small vacation was highly appreciated by me, especially as there was no holding back on the skinship or physical needs like in most dramas. San Maru's childlike curiosity and yet masculine attributes to his personality easily made him my favourite character from the get go. He isn't afraid to approach situations, or accept his failures either. He teaches So So far more than she has experienced in the 7 years of being in France and I think by the end of the drama, it's apparent that France has a home value in her heart, but the people she was avoiding back in Korea are her true home. Again, I really liked how open minded So So was from the French culture, and how she didn't allow Maru's old school way of thinking to have room in the more progressive country that way. It was refreshing to find a female lead comfortable with that side of herself, and not balling her fists up and looking to have a nervous breakdown when a man merely breathes on her, haha.
My favourite character by the end was actually the one I found the most annoying in the beginning. Oh Gab Soo starts off as brash and very irritating, to me as a viewer, as well as the rest of the tour group. However, as his story with his wife unveils more of the history, his behaviour becomes more bearable. By the end, he had me sobbing into my blankets over his despair and heartache from keeping silent for so long about knowing of his wife's condition. It was beautifully portrayed and I still feel sad thinking about it a day after watching.
The representation of France within the drama from a historical and travel destination view was tastefully done. I appreciated the information shared to the travellers as if I were too there learning and exploring. I felt towards the end it did run a little out of steam from becoming repetitive - "here is a place, do this, now it's free time, meet up here" - but I understand also why that occurred. The drama isn't perfect, there were scenes that in my opinion could have been more explored, or omitted, but it was pleasant overall and left me intrigued to know how it would go as I progressed through each episode.
The Package offers a lot in its small 12 episodes, and I think more k-dramas of this length would benefit the industry. It gets a beautiful story across, delivers what is needed and wraps up with the ending of what will come next in a positive way.
10/10.

This drama is highly recommended. I can say it is PERFECT!! You will definitely enjoy and be in love to the main characters. Luckanai (James), a tall and handsome man, is Muaenchanok's (Natapohn) mother's non-blood relative. He came to live in her house due to complicated reason about his family background. Muaenchanok, a beautiful stubborn woman, has clues in her mind because of her parents' divorcement. I really love when Nok got jealous of Chattarika. I cried many times for this drama. I cannot point out what is my favorite episode because 14 episodes are all my favorite! Watch it and for sure you will request for another tandem of Nai and Nok.

Japanese salarymen as a modern time hero

Though I completely understand why this show is so popular and extremely well recieved by so many people. We all know the plight and sufferings of the average 'japenese salarymen' so this drama was like a fantasy for those salarymen and thus it became such a phenomena in Japan and is the highest rated show there. No doubt it was interesting but honestly I had my problems with it.

My main concern was with the storyline actually. The show started really good. I really liked the first 2 EPs and was sure it would be continue to be this way. But jokes on me and my thoughts came true in a very literal way and I was not impressed at all. It felt like the same thing repeated itself in every 2-3 EPs and it just the circumstances changed each time. Hanzawa finds himself in a pinch due to his corrupt and good-for-nothing superiors and it just when it seems like it's the end for him, somehow he or the people around him resolve the problems. And this continues till the end and nothing new happens.

Apart from this, I really liked the characters and the acting here. I knew some people criticized this for the 'over-acting' so I was ready for some cringe but when I started this, I was honestly surprised because not only I didn't mind it, but I also liked the way everyone portrayed their characters. Each actor did justice to what they had to play.
The characters, though not really new or interesting, were a delight to see and made the show watchable for me despite the repetitive story. Tomari and Hana were probably the ones I liked the most.

It may not have been what I had expected and did disappoint me a little, but I did enjoy it and I'd still recommend this drama to people who like those hero-villain type of stories where we have our hero who is the best person on this earth and is surrounded by equally good family and friends and our designated villains who we all know will stand no chance against our *though i am just a normal person but somehow I am really lucky and things work out for me anyway* protagonist.

Oh my goodness.
A Gentleman's Dignity is by far the best drama I've watched.
Ever.
No fancy CG, no time traveling, no flashy actors (because we've all watched dramas JUST for the actors. Well, I bet some BOICE were watching this for Jonghyun. But that's besides the point), no annoying mothers or jealous & bratty girls in the way. (Well, I mean there's a little bit, but it's not like it drives the whole drama unlike some OTHER dramas...)

The storyline is very original. Instead of being completely centered around young people in their 20s or little children with some family trauma, this focused mainly on people who are older, but not necessarily wiser than youths. Although some of the arguments that took place at the beginning of the drama were seldom redundant/just plain annoying, it taught me about love in many different aspects/point of views. First loves, one-sided love, unstable relationships, and hesitant romances; You get all of those and more rolled into one drama. As a bonus, I found myself laughing and crying while watching each episode. (Though I swear I didn't cry as much as Im Meahri LOL). Some parts of the storyline are predictable, but a majority had me at the edge of my seat, screaming, "WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING?!" And boy, do I enjoy a good plot twist or twenty. And kudos to the writers, they sure know what we want in terms in romance. I wanted to push DoJin down a flight of stairs for being so romantic. The best thing about this drama? Probably the intro scenes. They set the mood and are just hilarious.

As for the cast, A+. Dong Gun's acting was superb. One moment, he's a chic, cool man who knows how to playoff difficult situations. In the next, he's this aegyo fueled dork that makes me want to cry because he's so adorable. His facial expressions were enough to set the mood of the scene, whether it be serious of playful. As for HaNeul, the way she portrayed her character was excellent. Although some of her scenes made me cringe, this woman knows how to act as a girl who's confused about her love life. Most actresses who try usually come off as fake or weak to me, but HaNeul acted in a more realistic sense. MinJong, SooRo, and Jonghyuk, I applaud to you. They played their roles well (although in SooRo's serious situations, he made the FUNNIEST faces, and just made me burst out laughing instead of sympathize), and they had amazing chemistry with each other as well as their "partners." Despite SeRa's character being such a bother in the beginning, I believe it helped get the chemistry going between the main couple, so I'm grateful for that, and so SeAh deserves a cookie or two for playing such a role. I mean, even though it's a typical role, it's never easy to play the angry best friend. I absolutely LOVED JungNan's character & acting. At one point, it just wanted to give her a hug and tell her to just let it out. When it came to, I just say there and whispered, "She's broken. You broke her," and kind of felt extremely depressed. Now JinYi.... goodness, a lot of people hated on her. But guys, she didn't write the script. She didn't decide that she would be SUCH a crybaby. So despite her bothersome role, she deserves a pat on the back for getting those tears to flow so well. Now for the younger "kids." Ugh WooBin is such a cutie. But seriously, he acted his role well as the strong but sensitive kid. And Jonghyun, for a debut actor, not bad. I mean sure, you're a sarcastic jerk with a gorgeous smile and voice, and omg when he speaks Japanese I swoon every time. His aura is consistent, but sometimes his emotions don't reflect well with the situation (don't hate me, I'm a BOICE guys ;A;)

There's great variety in the music and the background music suits the scenarios well. I could go more in depth about this, but let's just say I've downloaded every song and this is most likely on my top 5 favorite drama OSTs. It's a mix of indie, english, ballad, and k-pop (Juniel is now considered k-pop, right?)

Seriously, I NEVER, EVER rewatch dramas, not matter how much I love the drama. But I would consider rewatching this. Why? Because it moved me. It made me laugh, cry, sympathize, but more importantly, made me question how my own life is. The only reason I rated it down a bit is because I would skip over some of the BFF drama. (Because I have enough of that in real life orz)

To sum it up, this drama is realistic. It's romantic. It's touching. It's hilarious. It's filled with lessons that are worth taking away and can be applied to my own life. Not to mention that despite those men being in their 40s, they are quite the attractive and charismatic bunch. And guess what? THE ENDING DOESN'T DISAPPOINT. AT ALL. Not that I was expecting it be a BIG disappointment (did you see what I did there?)

So if you're still reading this review and are hesitating about this drama, WATCH IT. LIKE RIGHT NOW.

Worth to watch it

Ok, the last ep was kinda not peoples cup of tea, but if we all go back and rewatch the first 14 episodes, its all full of joy, existence, energy, funny, motivation and heartwarming scenes… just because the last ep wasn’t satisfying it doesn’t mean the whole show is not low rated! Although if the one who has already completed watching goes and rewatch the show will feel a sadness since watching them being happy, jumping around and not knowing in 10 years they wont be together anymore is so heartbreaking!
The show was so good! Don’t hesitate and go watch it now!

The poster of this drama caught my attention, it looked interesting. When I watched the first episodes, I had second thoughts to whether to give it a go since the portrayal of the story is similar to a shoujo manga/anime. I admit, it caught me off guard on the second episode. It's a psychological thriller with a dash of drama and a hint of crime. As the story progresses, it takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride. It excites you, compels you to have second guesses, makes you feel pain and compassion with the characters and their decisions, but most importantly it will keep your curiosity intact. I followed the series until the end. It's a must-watch series. Nothing that you may predict will ever come true!
