Hours of my Life covered everything I was hoping it would. From the beginning to end of Takuto battling ALS, the relationship of Megumi and Takuto, also the relationship Takuto had with his friends and family before AND after being diagnosed with ALS. The acting is amazing, Haruma Miura and Mikako Tabe were in so deep playing their characters. If you didn't know this was a drama you would probably believe it was a documentary. This was my first time seeing what ALS does to a person from the first signs instead of just seeing the end result. Very informative drama but it keeps you on the edge of your seat with a box of tissues in hand. I personally cried on all but 4 episodes, so many tissues were used in those two days I watched this drama. Hours of my Life is definitely a drama that could be watched again but the question is, do you want to cry that much again? The crying is all worth it though.

What a nice surprise! ^___^

Once again, personal expectations ended up having a huge impact on my grade...in the case of this "Make a Wish", though, I must confess I started watching it only out of my love for the 2nd FL, Chen Hao Lan, all while honestly thinking that I would probably drop it after a coupla episodes, as it had been the case of another C-drama sharing a very similar premise, "Falling in Love with Cats".
But I couldn't have been more wrong, LOL, 'cause I really, really loved this drama! ^_______^
Beautifully scripted, directed, photographed, and last but certainly not least acted by the whole cast (with particular praises, apart from the afore-mentioned Chen Hao Lan, for the adorable leads, Ren You Lun and Gia Ge, and for the very funny 2nd ML, Wang Tian Yu. They were really very good and added greatly to the drama's value. Oh, and let's not forget to mention the lovely OST/score, another very nice detail indeed!
If you are (like I was) a bit skeptical about the premise, give this title a try anyway, it'll probably surprise you like it surprised me, with its great quality and interesting script tastefully mixing so many different ingredients (comedy, drama, romance, SF, suspense, etc. etc.).
I literally enjoyed it from the very first minute to the very last! Perfect 10 as far as I'm concerned! ^__-

The best korean drama I have ever watched. Kim Sun-a is my favorite actress of all time. The drama is very clever, the character development is terrific, the love story meaningful. I laughed a lot and was constantly on the edge of my seat. It cannot get any better. I heard it wasn't that popular in Korea, well, it's something that doesn't appeal to the younger audience who prefers cute boys and cheesy drama.
City Hall is brillant. Enough said. Do yourself a favor and watch it NOW!

This is a pretty solid lakorn with bits of romance, comedy, and annoying characters to piss you off!

Story (8/10) - Heroine basically takes over her twin sisters' life in order to track her down after finding out she went missing. There she is met with her sisters' fiancee and his family who are extremely hostile to her after she left him at the alter and was found to be having supposed relations with other men. She endures their physical and emotional abuse with her strength and her natural ability to make others smile. With secrets and misunderstandings here and there, arguments occur almost every episode.

Acting/Cast (7/10) - Kwan (heroine) is good in her role. She can easily smile and pull off that "I can give away my pride and be shameless to get what I want." She doesn't hold back in her comedic side for this role. Whereas Aom (male lead) is ok but not really moments where he stood out that made me think Wow! He's amazing.

Music (5/10) - I actually don't remember much about the music but I didn't hate it so I guess I'll put in the middle.

Rewatch Value (7.5/10) - I'd rewatch this because I actually like the chemistry between these two. They also have another drama together Hua Jai Teuan.

Overall (7.5/10) - Typical solid lakorn. I hate the family members as usual but the chemistry between the leads made it cute and funny to continue till the end.

Short, simple and sweet

There is no real conflict in this drama. It's just a story of 2 lonely individuals who find themselves married through the NEET initiative and build a world of their own together.

Surprisingly, despite how short it is, it doesn't skip much and you can see how the leads gradually fall for each other and become a family.

The side characters, too, are sweet and don't hog unnecessary screen space.

The acting is decent. Nothing to write pages about, but nothing to criticise either. Special mention to the lead actress who is absolutely adorable. No one can dislike her.

Hands down the easiest, least complicated drama I've seen. Warm, fuzzy, soft and yet heartwarming.

Bad Taste

It took me a while to start watching this series because of a comment and reply between Jang Eui Soo and his friend. I tried to give it time but it still left a bad taste in my mouth. I love his acting but his reply left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall i thought the story was a bit rushed and would have wanted more background to the characters as well. I didnt really feel the chemistry between the characters either. I wish i could have gotten the same energy from Jang Eui Soo as i did when he did Where Your Eyes Linger.

After finishing Reply 1988 I watched this. Four of the boys get to spend time exploring Africa together. They have to overcome some hardships and stick to a budget. It was so sweet to see how they supported each other and shared such memorable times together. I love seeing them be vulnerable and emotional and cried with them. Then laughed at the silliness and crazy situations they got into. The music is great with all kinds of tunes from all over. I loved them singing and was impressed with their English skills! As a mom of boys I pray that my boys can grow up to have friends who love and support them like this. So sweet to watch.

beautiful

" Others might not think much of me, but for me, i mean a lot to myself."

I am so in love with this show! It takes those subtle, little, tiny moments, and emotions of one's life, the struggles, trivial or otherwise, and makes you see them, really see them, and appreciate their place in your life.

Show teaches you not to take anything in life for granted, and be aware and thankful for what you have. :)

The storytelling is top-notch.. and so was the acting.

There were times when i considered dropping this due to:
1. It got really really depressing in the middle.. felt like the story was just dragging on without leading anywhere
2. Acting by Hye-Ja's parents and Nam Joo Hyuk.. compared to the old Hye Ja, it felt like they were not upto the mark.. felt lackluster..
3. I felt they would get no real romance..

BUT... as i finished the drama i realised I WAS SO WRONG!!! There was a reason the above (1,2) was portrayed as such. You'll know when you finish exactly what I'm trying to say.
As for #3, there wasn't a whole lot of screentime for it, but we do get to see the romance ;)

And that plot twist.. it was placed and executed PERFECTLY. :)

(This is my first review ever. I tried to express how much i liked this drama without spoiling anything. If there's an edit option available, I'll use it in future to better what I've written later on)

sorry, I just gave my review for this drama even though I finished it last month ... a modern drama that made me very touched by the slow but touching storyline, I cried very deeply in the last few episodes when I finished this drama .. this is the first modern drama that I watch with so many true stories that happen a lot in our daily lives, I give 9 points for this whole drama ...

Story : although the story line for this drama was initially rather slow and maybe a little boring but along with it everything developed very well, a sincerity given by fuzi to ZeYu which was very priceless ... made me very touched and liked this drama, the struggle zeyu from empty until he succeeded certainly did not escape the support of fuzi, laofu and niumeili, the four people have worked well together, their relationship is very sincere for each other ... (maybe there are some stories that make me feel rather bored when telling stories about the life of NiuMeiLi) and the story that touches me the most is that happiness is not just success in a career without the presence of a beloved family beside us, and without them actually success in a career still cannot be called a success, time, love, and harmony in a family is the most important thing ... for that as a whole i give 9 points for this drama story ...

Acting : all the cast really have very good and natural acting, especially for DengLun, Sandra Ma and who is play as Lau Fu, I think the three of them are the best acting in this drama ... I have never watched Sandra's drama before and this drama really opened my eyes to her acting skills ..AMAZING...

Music :all the soundtrack on this drama are so good, especially the opening theme song " qi feng le", " tu ran xiang ai ni " by deng lun and " sou hou" by Sandra Ma..

rewatch value: I give 8 points for this drama because maybe i will skip the parts of niumeili's stories if I repeat this drama again...lol...

thank you and hope my review can help and not make you bored reading it..lol

This is probably one of the most wholesome pieces of TV I've seen in my life. At first I was a bit confused, because the editing was done in a different way than the rest of the 3MAD series and then I read about the scandal of one of the hosts and the decision to chop his scenes out of the series. This affects the first three-four eps of the series, but the result is surprisingly fresh and paints a picture of a beautiful friendship between Cha and Yoo (as they refer to themselves). They also both feel drawn to Son Ho Jun who due to bad weather becomes literally stranded with them on the island for 6 days (at one point, they have to lend him some socks). No wonder he later on becomes the replacement host, they totally fell in love with him.

This show features a healthy bromance and plenty of it. The men share raw stuff from their lives with each other and it's very touching. Cha and Yoo also become Ho Jun's mentors, men to look up to and respect and they joke around almost constantly. No wonder this had such a high viewership, this 3MAD is something very special.

Fishing Village 1 is also very educational for people outside of Korea. It's fascinating to see the life of fishermen and you root for Yoo every time he gets to go fishing. I also really enjoyed how the show portrayed the life in the village. The people were interested in the house of the celebrities, they gave them a lot of advice when they met them at random and I loved the part, when the neighbourhood halmoni came to check if they were on fire because the fire smoked too much.

The food was on another level. Cha is an excellent cook and oh my goodness, they gave him some tough challenges, which he passed with flying colours.

The scenery and overall production of the show was just excellent. Well done all around, I can't wait to watch the second season.

Plucky, down on her luck girl makes good.

The premise is so wildly implausible that it seems like there is no way they could make it work, but Castaway Diva is a very pleasant surprise. It is every bit a showcase for Park Eun Bin and she pretty much knocks it out of the park--and this right after her star turn in the remarkable Extraordinary Attorney Woo. (Kudos to her management team!) The supporting cast is quite good too--especially Kim Hyo Jin as mentor Yoo Ran Joo. The plot has some pretty glaring holes, but just go along for the ride. It's worth it. Good, not great, but definitely worth a watch for fans of "plucky, down on her luck girl makes good" kind of dramas.

☆Life is a Miracle☆

This drama shows how life truly is a miracle.

It brought me to tears in every episode.
The acting was so real it immersed me completely, the music was moving, and the story is not an everyday story that you would fall upon.

Seeing how brave Miki was is inspiring, as her cheerful personality grew into maturity with all the heart-brake was beautiful. And not only did they show her story but those around her, including depth in every character.

Her mother's love was so dear.
She told her, "You are the most important thing in the world to me." and, "I was born so that I could meet you." Later Miki said the same thing about her baby.

Her father loved for her so much tha Miki said, "My father cried, I've never seen him cry before."

The drama also showed how special and valuable the baby's life was, as well.
"Sora (her baby) is a child no one wanted. Not me, not Kirino-kun. Not Dad, not Mom, nor the school, either. Though right now Sora may be tiny, she's trying hard to live."

"Sora has taught me how important I am to my Father and Mother. How important school and having friends are. And just how much I love Kirino-kun."

14-year-old Mother is a beautiful drama that might be a bit too mature for some viewers but is definitely a drama I will never forget. Absolutely beautiful.

Small town and Slice of Life kind of drama

Meet yourself was very refreshing to watch. I like the overall plot of the drama which was about the FL taking a break from the hustle and bustle of big city and enjoying the quiet country life where clocks don’t matter.

The best part of the drama is hands down the casting. Love the leads, you know them from Mulan (the American Live action version) and Go Go Squid. Both I haven’t seen in for some time and it was really nice to see them matched together. The chemistry was off the charts and it’s nice to see the ML actually younger (in real life).

The secondary characters were great to watch too and with 40 episodes, everyone got to tell their tale. So, the story building was very good and you got to know the characters very well.

The second best part of the drama was the friendship and kindness everyone had towards each other. It’s a VERY low angst drama and a lot of the issues were simple, but interesting, like small town feuds, or one sided love or parental drama. There’s one or two stories we could all relate to.

I really enjoyed the setting and costumes. The setting was something I’ve never seen before and I LOVED they took a historical town and made it so charming. The stables and barn looked like it was something from an American film. Just really beautiful to watch. I also loved that the FL never dressed frumpy and her hair and makeup was always beautiful.

I really appreciate the tone and theme of the drama. The leads were very mature and was always respectful to each other. It’s one of the more realistic relationships I’ve seen in a C drama, where two people get to know each other and over time, fall in love.

The storylines were very realistic too, you will NOT see any cheesy C drama troupes. I wouldn’t have mind one or two troupes because at times the pacing was a bit slow and there are tons of stories to follow.

Overall, a really simple and easy drama to watch.

Everything about the series is perfect. It is the best BL series execution in 2019. Starting from the unique opening theme layout, excellent chemistry between Pete and Kao actors and the remaining characters. The masculinity of the characters is superb. Being gay should not be typecasted for being feminine. Beautiful actors and OSTs were perfectly chosen. Story line makes sense. Lying and over jealousy could ruin a relationship even the strong one. Family understanding was perfectly included in the story. Kudos to GMMTV. Perfect job!

"Dim Light in the Shadow" really spreads an important message about actions and consequences. The things that we as humans do in our lives, good or bad, might come back to us one day. The main point of this story is that we should really think about what we are doing, and if it could change for the worse or for the better. Throughout the show, there were many twists and turns and as the audience I really didn't know where it was going to end up.

Story: I think the message the story is trying to tell us is really important, the fact that we should think about our actions and consequences that may come with it. It also shows that bullying can actually make a big change, allowing a person to go to extremes. The scenes were also filmed very well, it made every episode of the show very intense. Although the show is mainly about life and stuff, the show was set out in a mystery type of format, and I felt scared at the start.(Spoiler Alert: Nothing bad actually happens to anyone in the end.)

Cast: The cast did really well, even though they didn't have to act as much, their expressions and small actions when they were talking felt so real. Most if not all of them were also rookie actors meaning that this is their first time being in front of the camera!

Music: Really fit well with every scene. The background music was intense.

Rewatch value: The show has 16 episodes, and each episode is about 10 minutes long. I personally would definitely rewatch this show at some point, considering it won't take days to finish.

Overall I recommend you watch this show if you want to start something not too long and a show somewhat involved with mysteries.
