Frustrating almost reunion moment

Ok so I was excited as hell for the brothers to finally reconnect but that's going to be stolen by the fact that his big bro is a murderer?! I have to say that this episode upset me so much that I had to stop watching the show for a couple of months lol. This family has been through so much and the one thing that kept me watching through my tears was the prospect of the brothers reuniting and realizing that they both still have each other. Jae Myung was all alone for all those years and Dal Po, although he had a new family, never got over the loss of his Bio family. Why couldn't they have just not made him a murderer lol...is that too much to ask?

I'm still holding out hope for Jae Myung!

Wow. They weren't joking about Park Shin Hye finally having a decent kiss. Pinocchio would be worth watching just for this historic moment. Thankfully Pinocchio is a pretty awesome Drama. I love all the little nods to I Hear Your Voice. It's become part of the fun.

I'm gonna guess that an epic love traingle is out of the question. But I do love that the drama isn't teasing us too much.

It was absolute hilatority watching them reasearch and figure out where to caputre video of people slipping. The excitement at capturing people falling in the bad weather made my day. (Wonder what that says about me!) The perfect spot for the report:

"A place where we can capture people making big wipe-outs."

Is it true? Is this a standard story for winter in Seol? Do they capture the big slip every year!! Ha-ha! I love that idea.

But how is she lying by letting people slip? They would have slipped without her being there? So is Pinocchio also a conscious? You hiccup when you lie and feel guilty. But the instant the shots seem morally OK and she "understands" she can do it. Muddy. Besides she keeps hiccupping until she retracts her statement and tells the truth. So who knows the rules! Since Pinocchio Syndrome is a fake thing I'll let it slide. Besides it is fun.

That ending though! It was crazy going from slip and fall to that. I'm rooting for you Jae Myung. Maybe he didn't do what they want us to believe he did. And he still has a chance to redeem himself. It's heart breaking watching Jae Myung and Dal Po's interactions. There's still hope!

What an amazing episode it really got me laughing, but still managed to pack all the feels in an emotional punch.

Magnetism....drool

10/10. Bravo. Best episode, but I WILL say that, because save one or two, each episode has gotten progressively better. We're only on episode 8, but I'm officially in love with this show. Like crazy addicted.....

THAT KISS! I didn't expect it at all. Especially how he went in for seconds :P It left me dazed, confused, wanting to see more...and then bam! Next scene. And I'm just as engrossed because this drama is so much MORE than the romance.

Hyung, a tertiary character almost, because I didn't appreciate the significance he'd play when he first appeared in ep 1, has steadily climbed through the ranks, that now, whenever I see him on screen, sometimes wearing that mysterious baseball cap, sometimes not, I'm transfixed. He is a villain, a dark figure lurking in the shadows, but also he is hyung, protective, amiable and a guy screwed over by his past.

Yoo Rae....this is the episode where I full out APPRECIATED HER. Beom Jo totally planted that seed in her head about Dal Po liking her, but the way she reacted was very funny! Kudos. I'm liking this side of her, it makes her more distinguishable.

Beom Jo himself, is a character reduced to running after the female lead, but I don't mind him. I enjoy Princess, scary team leader all the YGN/MSC staff too. In fact, this drama is all round suspension/romance/comedy/interesting fun...

I'm dying to watch the ninth episode, but I can't, so I've just spent a lot of time stalking dramabeans etc etc, reading comments, though a few pissed me off because they were thanking LJS for making PSH look good in that kiss (because she's such a hopeless case)...

Jesus. Until now, I never realised PSH drew such a vitriolic crowd....it's unreal. The poor girl is harassed whatever she does. Hwaiting, unni!

Pinocchio Episode 8 Review

This is what a well-written show is. I am astounded at how the emotions are being portrayed so realistically at every point. Be it the dilemma that Dal Po faces when he meets his brother, or the too-hard-to-hide feelings that In Ha and Dal Po have for each other, or the rage and sense of unfairness that Jae Myung feels and acts out on. I've always considered reporters and journalists to be cold people who undeniably work for the better of the world but are more report-oriented than being humane. Most of my perceptions about them were cleared in this episode. Everybody has got their job, they should do well in that regard, nobody can be everything or do everything. I feel that I have matured a little today after watching this episode.

Although it happened quite earlier than what I had expected, the kiss In ha and Dal Po shared felt just right. It just goes to show that although it is a part of the genre, this show is not primarily a romance. Which is a thing I love about this show. It could have easily deviated and become a drag because of a side-line plot but it's sticking to it course and delivering in every aspect. All I feel is respect and admiration for the writers of this show.

Coming to the theories and estimations (I can't help but make them!) - I think that the accident that Jae Myung prevented (which was a really brave thing to do btw) and the news coverage that MSC will do on that will put him in a new light and maybe warm Dal Po towards the idea of revealing his identity to his brother. But the fact that Jae Myung made it abundantly clear that he wants nothing to do with Dal Po or any reporter may deter progress of their relationship. I love how this is not so simple and about to get even more complicated but still seems like a legit thing that could happen with people. Great work by every single person associated with the show. I'm glad I can watch such a wonderful piece of work :)
