MY HISTORY

March 2011: Mini Hallyu wave goes around my high school, and I catch it. Watch "Boys before Flowers" in a matter of days, soon followed by You're Beautiful, and The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince.

April 2011: Watch Autumn's Concerto, to date, the only Taiwanese drama I watched in it's entirety.

July 2011: My first Japanese drama, Hana Kimi, completed. It was a struggle to complete, but I was very happy I did. It lead me to discover "Absolute boyfriend" and "Nodame Contabile" amongst others.

December 2011: Complete my last drama, 49 days.

Now that last statement might confuse you a bit. "Last drama? What do you mean by last drama?"

I mean, 49 days is the last drama, I watched start to finish. Since then, I have picked up dramas and dropped dramas, including popular ones like "The bridal mask" "Secret Garden" etc etc. It's sad to say, but as I grow more used to asian dramas, I find my tolerance waning.

But I stand true to this: I don't care if the lead protagonist is 5 years old or 60 years old, if the story is good, I will watch it and enjoy it.

So in truth, I fell in love and out of love, with K-dramas in 2011, but occasionally my heart does a jump-start when I watch something, and I'm not prepared to call it day just yet. It's the type of fan I am. I will remain loyal to where I once sought great pleasure, and will never forget it. I enjoy using this site (when I can) and try to contribute (again, when I can.)

I don't rewatch dramas. EVER. And that's the god-honest truth. Why look back, when I'm constantly looking forwards? Though I must admit, as my disechantment continues, I feel tempted to go back to the dramas I watched in full, and attempt to rewatch. I am a strange fan, but I will probably be one of the longest, when I like something.

    Her way in acting didn't change a bit you feel like she is playing the same role in evRey drama but overall she is not bad at all :) even in guess family book ;)

    49 days is an amazing drama! I loved it. I think I'll re-watch it soon too. One of the best dramas. But innocent man is pretty amazing. It's really unique. I like it a lot.

    so true..FRIEND!^-^ i sometimes put the dramas on hold for a while to get some rest from all the cheesiness:D or i try to imagine how the story could develop in a different way. i wasn't planning to watch '49 days',but you listed it as your favourite drama, so i guess it must be great?!;) and yes i do know a few languages(also a little dutch and japanese), because i love studying languages. it's the one thing i am good at.:D what are you doing?study?work?

    Nah! That's simply a coincidence that the two dramas that I have listed have the gender bender storyline. I just really loved You're Beautiful and Sungkyunkwan overall. However, the homosexual angles of such dramas are really fun to watch!! And I do plan to watch To the Beautiful You after it ends because I can't wait week after week for the episodes. I like watching things at a go. :)
    And by better romance dramas I mean different ones like My Girl or Full House. I found both far more entertaining than Secret Garden.
