Bright and early one Monday morning, Shino Yuzuru asks Seryou Touji out on a lark when they run into each other at the school gate. Seryou, who's immensely popular, has the odd habit of going out with anyone who asks him out first at the beginning of the week, then promptly dumping them at the end of it. "Anyone" apparently includes male upperclassmen like Shino, and as a boyfriend, Seryou is perfect--unfailingly read morethoughtful and kind. Shino, obviously, has no intention of being in a serious relationship with Seryou.

This movie has 2 part..first part of this series tells about Touji as the junior, who is popular as one-week man, dates with his senior,Yuzuru.Touji always accepts anyone who asks him to go date and will give answer 1 week after.Actually,he has crush on Shino. But as the time goes by,their relathionship getting serious...

Actually read more i'm a takumi-kun series hardcore (not series 1)..And after long time, this movie makes me get the same feeling when i watched takumi-kun <333

I hope this review will help you guys...don't forget to watch both of part of this movie ^^

I wrote a review/comparison of the live action and the manga on my blog
I do go more into detail there:

Story (10/10)
I really enjoyed the premise of dating for seven days and finding out if you do or don't like the person you're with. Personally, I do think 7 days is enough to know if you do or don't want to continue a relationship, especially if you're hanging out read more so often, which is how Yuzuru and Seryou were. I loved their interaction

Casting (10/10)
I originally read the manga first and casting is one of those big issues I have when stuff gets live action adaptations. I honestly didn't have an issue here as the actors fit Yuzuru's pretty features and Seryou's handsome/playboy look

Acting (6/10)
I did have some issues with the acting. One of Yuzuru's biggest features, aside from having a pretty face, is his expressiveness. I didn't feel Yamada James Takeshi captured that in his acting. In fact, his expressions didn't really vary to me. Hirose Tomoki did a better job, only because he had more unique expressions (the smirk, the swagger), but I also think he could have done better. Unlike other dramas I watched, the acting here was more realistic and more in line with what you would see an everyday person doing

Music (7/5)
I have no complaints but nothing stood out either

Rewatch Value (8/10)
I do think I could rewatch this, however, not immediately. It is short enough where it doesn't feel like you're stuck to a TV for too long and it ends at a place where watching this in 2 sittings isn't awkward

Overall (8.5/10)
I'm a huge fan of this story and the manga, and to see it faithfully following the manga really made my day! I do seriously think the acting could have been better and it does give off the feeling of being low budget, but still I recommend checking it out. Especially if you like Boy's Love

I think this movie is too slow and the acting isn't that great, but the movie is ok

This is actually great...the pacing was great, the kind that will make your eyes and ears glued to the screen...because every single time is tender and have moments in it....the narrative views of each character as well is commendable.

Oh my.. a BL movie that displays chemistry and wont waste your time. Watch out for the kissing scene in the room OMG!! Am i only the one here who thinks Yuzuru looks like Yamapi in some angles while Seiryo looks like L/Oguri Shun? In summary tho, a must watch for fujoshis lol

Hello fellow BL fan! (I assume). This one, Boys Love 2006. Udagawachou de Matteteyo. Only those 3 for reccomendations, others were really mediocre but you can still check them out. As for jdrama, i highly reccommend Rinsho Hanzai Gakusha Himura Hideo no Suiri. Its a subtle BL tho.

I can't believe how good this movie was. So sweet and peaceful <3 The pace of them falling for each other is perfect. That's so weird I just finished this like 40 seconds ago and I want to rewatch it already! XD I'm so gonna talk my friends into watching this with me this weekend!

Ssssslooooow. Yuzuru is cute. Seiryo can't act. Still a nice watch if you're into slow Shounen Ai without any significant drama

It's true the acting isn't perfect here but I wouldn't call this really slow, there a lot more draggy BL movies. Basically every Korean BL movie is like hell when it comes to pace.

Very respectfully done. Even if you're not into B-Love genre, the development of this relationship doesn't make you cringe. Actually, you end up rooting for them.

Oh I absolutely and completely loved this movie! It is such a true depiction of love at it's purest form: which goes over and beyond any identity that society forces on us all. The moments in the movies were magical for me, from how he asks him out and how they never lie or try to hide it, how noting was super dramatically revealed. I rarely like anything so much!

Ikr? This s what I really wanted to see in a the BL genre. The leads not to hide it public and not hesitate accepting their true filling bc of the societiys 'standards' of love that there can be no love between men. And still I was ashamed catching me thinking 'what? Are they gonna do it right there in public with all those passerbys?' TT TT Seems even I got a little brainwashed with the Chinese and Korean BL movies -_-

I was excited when i found out about the live action considering I've read the manga. I found this to be a good film with relaxing feel to it. Can't wait to watch part 2 :)

One of the better BL live-actions I've seen, especially as far as technicalities - beautiful scenes and interesting edits. However, there was some long a*s pauses in some scenes which just felt awkward for me though - like a lot. A part from that, I read the manga and thought the story was more or less interesting before watching this, though I did think that the live-action adaption would easier expose the corniness of the story, but it didn't. It was actually a nice surprise to find that it didn't feel too corny. I guess I can thank the director and producers, as well as, actors for taking it pretty seriously and not just seeing it as a film for fangirls. Yamada Takeshi is definitely promising as an actor. Wouldn't mind watching him in other things. I gave both this and the second part 6/10.
