The premise of the story wasn't the issue I had with the drama. A girl is still in love with her childhood first love, he turns out to a total playboy. They fall in love, he struggles with his own issues. That I understood and enjoyed about this drama. But the issue I had was with the execution. It romanticized dating violence, all the red flag in the book were portrayed. The read more mental, the physical, and the down right disturbing are all featured here. I felt like this show should have come with a warning sign that some viewership is advised.

That being said, the acting and casting choices, I thought were actually perfect. Each actor portrayed their role as they were given (Though I'm not happy what they were given), the did a marvelous job. I despised the bad girl, I feel in love with the main character, and despite my best judgement I was drawn in by the male lead. The chemistry is what really made me keep watching this drama if nothing else.

The music didn't take me out of the show nor did it really fully bring me in. It was good, and fit with the type of teen drama.

Due to the mental and physical violence this portrayed I would say the re-watch value is a 2. I would re-watch the ending, when he redeems himself (barely) and the part where she is falling in love with him again, but skip mostly all the episodes but two.

Overall this drama is a 5.5 on the scale.

For starters, The only reason why I watched this series in one stretch is because of PUSH *drool*. I am new to Thai dramas, the one ones I have watch are the Ugly Duckling series, Full house, Kiss me and Roy Leh Sanae Rai. This lakorn is of 8 episodes, each episode of around 70 minutes. Just like any other drama/lakorn,this lakorn has the bad boy male lead, innocent but outgoing female read more lead, obvious evil second female lead and the sweetheart second male lead. It is a kind of light hearted drama.

Sibtit (Push) trying to woo Prikkang (esther) with his possessive bad boy ways which I found very cute, the lead was always horny trying to steal kisses from the female lead which I liked. This drama was quite unsettling for me because from what I have read comments and watched lakorns, suppressing women sexually is portrayed as if it is a normal element. After a few episodes of him wooing her and finally winning her heart (after forcing himself upon her), the lakorn goes downhill with more "what the hell is happening" situation which questions us whether he is supposed to be the romantic male lead or the one who is evil and trying to break apart the couple. Push's snd esther's sanity in this lakorn is questionable, although the drama ends on a happy note.

I was very disappointed with Push's role in this lakorn (which is very much likely the same role as roy leh sane rai) but because I like him and also because of his cute possessive nature as well, I completed the drama. This drama isn't for everyone because it can get WTFable later on, but for PUSHSTANS you can watch it easily.

Both light hearted, enjoyable dramas with eye candy PUSH. Situated in a college background, childish yet intimate romance.

I really love esther supree and had fun watching push' ugly duckling, rak leh, and wannueng jaa sup'tar on your channel kissasian..now two of them in one show? I just couldn't get enough till i get to start watching their first episode on this show. Two of my most fave actors of thailand in show. They were the reason why i'm trying so hard to atleast learn their language because i'm not used to it since i'm a filipino. So please help me or us with this one. Thanks a lot and i look forward to the day that you'd announce to us that we can have it watch on your kissasian channel.

I hated it. One of the most hateful and stupid protagonists I've ever seen in a drama!

The "love story" between an incredibly silly and annoying girl and a sh*tty playboy.
I don't believe in their love even for a second, they sure can't last.

It's also terribly writted and acted and with awful characters.

The ONLY reason I gave this a try was because I fell in love with Ugly Ducking: Perfect match and needed my Kasetsin Puttichai fix. It started out just as charming and cute, BUT I jumped right in without realizing it had the slap-kiss theme. Ugh. Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait for him to do more projects (more rom-com, less abusive) b/c this one just turned me off completely....for now.

If you want to see Push in more romcoms I definitely recommend Wannueng Jaa Pben Superstar and Leh Nangfah. His character is really sweet in both dramas.

I'll definitely have to look those up, but I think I''ll need some time in between so I can forget his character in this. It was just too....Bleh!

Yahoooo! I'm so glad I read the comments! That slap-kiss vibe and abuse=passion nonsense. NOPÉ not for me. Glad I'm saving myself time. lol
I dream of the day dramas will finally emphasize that you can forgive an abusive person and still move on. One does not cancel the other smh...

I think this lakorn is not bad, is not an abuse pasion nonsense, Is more real that another ones, do you really think that a womanizer can change himself in one day?.I liked the female lead because give him a chance to change and not forgive him easily. I hate that kind of suffered women who silenty forgive all misfates of theirs partnerts. Not in this case. I really racomended this lakorn, because makes hate male lead and loving him when slowly change. the female lead is not weak or stupid but is sane and clear.

The U-Prince series is quite likable besides this one.
SOTUS could have well been done in this format, with different story arcs in sub-episodes but the main leads being the overarching story!
How do I apply to IUCA though? Nice campus, nice faculty. :)

honestly I'm still shocked she accepted him back. Like yes its a very honourable act to sacrifice yourself in order to save someone else. but that does NOT merit the other person to get back with him. He lost all his chances when he cheated or forced himself on her. its bad enough him doing one of them yet alone both

Seriously this has to be the worst in the line of Thai Dramas.
Good thing I didn't look at it in order or this would have definitely turned me off the U-Prince series!

At first I thought the comments were a bit harsh but now that i finished the drama, everybody is speaking TRUTH. Terrible drama that romanticize emotional, mental, and physical abuse. I can't believe that the character was considered the male lead?! He acted more like the sleazy ex-boyfriend trying to get his girlfriend back when clearly he's a bastard and doesn't deserve her. I feel bad for the young girls that may have watched this and thought it was ok just because the lead is handsome. He is the type I tell my friends to stay away from and dump the shady excuse of a man. Really disappointed. This drama crosses the line.

I started watching this because I really enjoy GMM's lakorns and I do like Push too. But his character in this is just horrible ! Okay sometimes girls fall in love with 'bad guys' but here it's clearly too much. Handsome or not, I'd have slapped this guy hard from the beginning :')

I'll try the others U Prince, and hope it will be better...

Watched all of this just because i couldn't belive that in 2016 people still want to romanticize abusive relationship... I can say that this is the worst drama i've ever saw...

Glad it's over and I finished it. I thought I would like it, but not too much. It had sweet moments but there were bad moments as well. For the main lead's character here he was not too bad, although at times it was bad, but for me his character in Roy Leh Sanae Rai was much worse.

I think it was a bad start to make the first U Prince Series like this, it should have start gentle, but anyway they love making lakorns like this with attempting rape, rape, forcing the girl, etc. I have watched like 70 lakorns and I rarely find a lakorn without this stuff, I should have kind of got used to it, but I still find it hard to watch, it's still wrong, anyway I fast forward these scenes.

If one should watch this lakorn is to continue the series, because in a way they are linked, and for the main leads, I love their acting :) If you're going to watch for the story, I think you will not like it as for me it's not that good.

One of the reason why I watching lakorn now because of DJ PUSH. It is the first drama that I've watch him then followed by the Ugly Duckling with Mook and Now I'm currently watching PUER TUR WITH ESTHER. I hope they have many more dramas tandem to come because I love the both of them. But sadly push is dating and esther have boyfriend. <3 But I'm keep supporting the both of them! :)
