Aaaw City Hunter how i love you so. I am not going to lie at first when i heard the premise i was turned off since the story wasn't like the original manga version but i am glad i gave it a shot. Hands down its the BEST drama of the year so far. The cast, acting, music was just right. This story had heart, family, romance, action, vengeance, sacrifice in all read more the right places. Each character brought so much to the table that you couldn't help to either root for the downfall or their triumph. Overall its definitely a must watch.

at first i couldn't bring myself to watch this, but then i did, and i watched all of the eps that had aired in two days (16 that is hah) and i was thirsty for read more more. hah

its great, and lee min go looks awesome, the main girls isnt wimpy, but is cool. its such a great drama, a must see!

Both are about a masked man looking for revenge for their father. The Man in the Mask is more comical than City Hunter but both are worth watching.

Similar atmosphere and general plot devices. A male lead that is nearly alone in this world who gets sucked into a mysterious, dark plot connected to their past. Tons of action, investigation, plotting, revelations, kidnappings, etc. While City Hunter's characters and plot are a bit more sophisticated than Two Weeks, both are still enjoyable.

Well, to be honest, it's been a while since I've watched it. I vaguely remember I felt frustrated because of how lame I thought it to be, at the time. I knowmy word of choice isn't well thought, I'm basically hating on it, but the the fact that I managed to watch the whole thing till the ending means it must have been an okay drama. i just think it wasn't that worthwhile. Yhanks for your reply!

It's a well written drama even though it originally came from a Japanese Manga still they've manage to give us something unique and good. The casts are good , i just hate that they didn't focused more on the couple at the last episode.

This was literally the only drama lee min ho was good in. Its also one of the best korean dramas i've watched. Its also good for newcomers to kdramas. 9.0/10.0

Anyone know of any other good revenge type dramas? Already seen Healer, this one and Healer are both great drama's, so in love with our main lead female, her personality, wow... Don't want anything with a despicable and ludicrous love triangle, thanks...

I would suggest Cruel City, Innocent Man, Pinocchio and You're All Surrounded, although Innocent man is an entirely differnet type of reveng, as he's trying to take revenge on the woman who wronged him years ago. Pinocchio is also a little different because there's no action, the revenge has to do with ruining someone's repution, then completely destroying them through that. They're all quite entertaining dramas. Cruel City probably has the most action and suspense

everyone have their own preference, and for me city hunter is boring, it was too predictable, that's why I drop it.

@Nick I know LMH was already famous when he starred in City Hunter which drew alot of fans. It was boring for me because the story has no room for romance but the romance was awkwardly injected as soon as the main character arrives in U.S to begin his mission. Then they delve further into the realm of the cliche when LMH stands in front of a fountain, and look behold behind him is the girl of his 'destiny'. Forgive me for barfing, that was the moment I knew i will drop this drama but i kept going for 5 more episodes but the story just did not improve at all.

After watching Healer, and re-watch City Hunter, the first word that came to my mind was "boring". I mean, City Hunter is a very-well done drama, with an interesting plot and great actors, but Healer is above all of that without discussion.

@snow I'm the opposite. Healer was boring imo and city hunter was beyond entertaining. I just don't get what people see in Healer. I watched 7 episodes trying my best to like Healer but its draggy.
