Though there was nothing special to the plot; I liked the light and not complicated almost-love triangle. There were no villains and everyone had their own faults. I loved that human portrayal.

Uhm Tae Woong's acting shone through. I admit having Queen Seon Duk's syndrome -where I fell for everyone there; literally- so I started this already in love with him. His self-centred personality and weird sense of humour were so adorable. I liked his dark side that doesn't reflect on his humanity. The way he taught Kim Yeon Woo was so enjoyable to watch. That killing smirk got me gaga!

Park Ji Heon's character was so cute. I'd avoid it though. This kind of guys is burdensome and demanding.. only cute to watch from afar.

I loved Kim Soo Yeon.. well i'm biased so! i loved how she never hesitated to express what she thinks and stands her ground. and i loved how nothing stopped her from what she believes right.

The reason why I pushed this drama up was writing a stalker's guide on Kang So Ra. She didn't have much to give here but she was cute in the few minutes she'd appear every episode.

There were so many shirtless scenes -due to the fact that they are athletes- and my eyes were so happy!

The drama tackled so many medical and sport related cases. Though they were so beneficial for an ignorant like me, I felt that many were forced. They were so touching anyhow.

Sang Bong's character was the best thing about the drama. I cried buckets because of him.

The patriotic emphasis on being a ''Korean representative'' was evident.

The emphasis on the Korean pork they were promoting was so obvious i kept laughing -side effects of watching so many dramas; especially King of Dramas-

The cruel and twisted fate of Park Ji Heo and Yoo Sang Bong was so moving -and kept reminding me of School 2013-

The music was cute but repetitive.. i loved the osts.

I was not expected it to be so much fun.. I didn't get bored for a second.

Loved this drama front to back! Never once did the writing fail or leave any loose ends.

addition to the screen and the romance between the characters of Park Ji Heon and Kim Yeon Woo is both touching and comedic in parts. If you like medical / sports dramas this is the story for you. This has a great talented cast that make this story so worth watching. I started this drama and couldn't stop watching it.

Someday I would love to see Jung Suk Won as a leading man he's always a charismatic character he eats up the screen.
Shin Dong brought great heart and comedy to his character in this role I hope to see him in more dramas soon.

I finished this drama just yesterday and gave myself some time to figure everything out.

Story::

The story was alright. Nothing special. I noticed that the main actor was supposed to be shown 'doing the right thing' but the things that she 'did' ruined the lives of other characters. And by doing so the viewer, you and I, began to think 'The hell is this woman doing?'. Even though she was 'doing' the right thing, it felt like she was being selfish. The writing for this drama didn't make much sense to me. Reactions by the characters did not at all match their situation. When they needed to be angry there weren't as angry as they should've been. The romance in the drama also felt kind of forced. There was always another love interest for the main female lead, and it never left the back of my mind that she had moved on. Even till the last episode.

Acting::

Very well done, except for what I mentioned earlier. The anger just wasn't there.

Overall, this is a fun drama to watch. You'll pull your hair out (granted you have any hair left from pulling your hair out during other dramas...you addict) and you'll laugh and cry. Definitely take this in light doses. Watching this in one go, is not what I'd recommend.

Dr. Champ isn’t a drama I usually go for since it’s sports themed but the main 3 actors involved peeked my interest…

Story- I thought the writers did a really solid job with the pacing, as it never got draggy or boring. As it being sports based though it could only hold my attention for so long before I got anxious to get it finished. Another thing that weakened my interest in the story is the romance. I found it frustrating to watch at times. You don’t really know who will end up with whom till the last 2 episodes because the main female character loves one dude but then likes (although doesn’t realize it till like the very end) the other dude. I really did like the last episode though it went by very fast and it had a tight ending, no lose ends.

Acting/Cast- Although the 3 main leads all did a fine acting job, as they are all known to be excellent actors, I honestly didn't love KSY's character. She was too serious for most of the drama and unlikable as well. KSY’s character didn't really have a pleasant personality until the last 2 episodes. I liked a lot of the supporting characters, filling out the side stories very well.

Music- I liked the score and the OST was really memorable as they played a lot of same songs over and over. They fit the scenes well. I wouldn’t listen to them outside the show though.

Rewatch- I didn’t love this drama so I can’t say I have an interest in watching it again but it is rewatchable.

Overall Dr. Champ was good but not something that would be memorable down the line.

Alright, it's been awhile since I've watched this, but I have to say this is one of the most under-appreciated dramas ever! I have no idea why no one (that I know of) have watched it yet, and why it has only received a 7.05. But anyway... I usually don't rewatch movies/shows but this is one thing that I'm willing to spend another 16 hours on because it was SO DAMN GOOD! The actors were just fabulous - smexy AND good at acting. ;) The music was fitting for the situations. The story and atmosphere itself was very relaxing, funny, yet exciting and climactic at the same time! The only downside I have to say is that the ending was a bit rushed, but regardless, it's still a must-see drama especially if you're into medicine/martial arts, I highly recommend trying this out. The first episode itself will have you hooked! Overall, I'd give it a 10/10. ;) Enjoy and drop me a message on your opinion of it. :) Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Frustrating but worthwhile

Okay so here goes. I loved JGW in this drama - his was really the only consistent role in the entire drama and I’m thankful for that. On the other hand this frustrated me no end - the drama - not sure if it’s the writer’s fault or the director’s but the character of UTW (Medical Director) was so wishy washy with regards to his feelings and emotions that I wanted to hit him. Leading on and then pushing away - never knowing which way he was truly going. The reason is shown at the end of the drama so it did redeem his character at that point for me. His role, other than the love stuff, was brilliant as was his acting in it. As far as KSY (Doctor) i feel like her role was also a bit all over the place emotionally. She’d lean on the Director but think of PJH. If this was cleaned up a bit then it would have been a brilliant drama………
Music was lovely - loved it.
Rewatch value - as frustrating as it was in parts for me to watch, I’d probably sit through it again as I just loved loved loved JGW in this one. I’ve seen him in many other roles as the bad guy that you love to hate but this one was just yummy.

A very nice drama brought to life by very great actors

An old drama, but with HD images.

BONUSES:
- a solid and very well written story, skilfully mixing romance, sport, medicine.
- a quick realization (and even a little too much on the last episode, which I would have liked more developed),
- only GREAT actors!! They literally carry on all the series...
- the very endearing members of the Team, with a nice development on friendship.
- not memorable but enjoyable OSTs.

LIMITS :
- some actors are not very credible as athletes (plump judoka, swimmer girl, etc.)
- issues in sport always somewhat the same: rivalries, atmosphere in the team, injuries, ways to win, etc.

This drama leads me to ask myself once again the question: the tendency of Koreans to guilt and self guilt (recurring in dramas), is it cultural? To add drama?
When an accident happens, why blame everyone?
The other driver / the person at the start of the trip / the person you wanted to join / etc. Why should the family at this moment, allways accuse someone in charge???

In conclusion, a very nice drama brought to life by very great actors.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
